Meet Tyson, the son of Tai Lung. After the redemption of his family and friends, Tyson wants to create a team of young kung fu masters but feels put down for merely being a child. Rounding up his friends to create the largest kung fu army in China, Tyson embraces his role as the defender of both China and the world.

30. Chapter 30: Tayra

Tayra is the daughter of Verruca, Sable's sister, and Klaus's niece. She has pink and white fur and blue eyes. She can control plants, water, rocks, and other earthly matter. She also has the ability to harness the Earth's mineral energy to heal people. She is the third deuteragonist.

Tayra was bon to Verruca and an unnamed male sable in a prison. Growing up for the first few years of her life with her brother Sable and cousins Marten and Ermine in the prison, Tayra hated her home and her mother and uncle for being bad guys and having them being born in a prison. Tayra leads her brother, cousins, and the other children born in the prison in an escape mission at night, through air vents. The kids take refuge in a cave on top of a mountain. They eventually find themselves in the Valley of Peace and decide to help the valley with their gifts. Tayra worked as a mage with her family and her best friend Faye and her sisters, healing and impressing people with their magic. Tyson meets Tayra when he comes to her when he accidentally hurts his arm during a training session. Impressed with their powers, Tyson offers the kids a place on his team, The Dragon Knights, which they cheerfully accept.

Tayra is is sly, excitable, and deceptive. She is however friendly, caring, and helpful. Tayra is also playful and flirtatious, and appears to have a close bond with Tyson. She very much values her earthly powers, and she is happy when she is able to use them to help people. She has no remorse or pity for those she deems her enemies and even resorts to death threats in order to protect her friends.

Tayra hated her mother and uncle for having them be born in a prison. However the two latters loved and cared for their children even while in prison. When she reunites with them, Tayra finally hears her mother say she's proud of her and her brother and cousins.

Tayra is shown to love her brother, Sable but can sometimes get annoyed with his peaceful nature.

Tayra and Faye have been close friends since they were young and always fight by each other.

Tayra and Tyson are close and it's implied she has feelings for him.

Tayra and Fen have a close friendship.

Trivia:

Tayra's name is a reference to the animal Tayra.

It's seen Tayra and Sable are part weasel part sable.

Tayra's powers are based on the Wugao gauntlet.

Despite her mother getting powers from the moon, Tayra gets her powers from the earth.

Tayra is the only female descendent of Klaus and Verruca.
