Chapter 12 Black and White:Voyage Of Despair Part 3

Near the bar area of the ship about thirty minutes before Blake and co went to the lounge area. Verde and Colt were enjoying themselves at the bar as they talked and drank for a bit. Colt had a small shot of whiskey while Verde drank some water. He wanted to stay sober incase his wife went into labour.

"So Verde I gotta ask you a serious question"colt asked as he took a drink from his glass.

"By all means ask away "verde replied as she cupped his chin.

Colt laughed at that makes it sound like he was a parent"alright how'd exactly you get a women like sienna to marry you?"colt questioned.

The man married a faunus who was the leader of the white fang at some point. Though she seemed to like the man despite being a human. Which did make him curious how exactly he did it.

"That is an interesting story actually"verde replied as he recalled that day many years ago telling colt.

Sixteen and a half years ago

In a the city of Vale a younger Verde who last name was williams at the time. The young doctor was busy leaving from work today. He just successfully helped install a pair of prosthetic arms. As he walked through the streets he had a small messengers bag.

"Hmmm its the weekend, I should probably get some coffee from that shop tomorrow"he thought to hismelf

As he continued to walk down the streets he heard shouting from down a street and got a little curious. He decided to turn around a corner as he walked down the street toward the shouting. Once he did he noticed a small group of faunus in the center of the market.

But several people surrounded them throwing fruit and various objects at them. The man seemed a little concerned on what was happening.

"Get out of here you freak!"someone shotued from the crowd as he threw a rotten tomato at the protestors. It hit a faunus man in the face who growled. But a bengel faunus motioned for him to not.

A younger sienna who seemed to be holding up a sign in the air. It had the white fang logo on it but was smeared with rotten food on it.

The young doctor decided to check it out seeing what exactly was going on. It took him a few minutes to get over their and he looked at the crowd of humans then the faunus noticed a few of them had some cuts and scratches on them that looked recent.

Seem a few of the humans here threw some objects to hurt these poor people.

"People of Vale were not here to hurt you! Were here to ask to be treated as equal! We mean no harm!"sienna shouted through a megaphone toward the human crowd.

"Please understand that we are no different from each other. If you just listen to us we can coexist together. But you need to stop treating us like third rate citizens!"sienna shouted as the human crowed shouted and didn't care/

Two men were glaring at the group before one of them eyes light up. Then he tapped his friend on the shoulder getting his attention. The man looked at him as the second pulled something from his waistcoat.

As he did a pistol gleamed in the sunlight. The other man looked shocked as he laughed a little at what the man was suggesting.

"Guess its hunting season"he smugly joked as the second man smiled.

Then he walked through the crowd with pistol in hand. As he did he bumped into verde who looked at the man who bumped into him. He glared at him for a bit until he relized the man had something in his hands.

He looked down noticing a pistol and went wide eyed. The man raised his arm up between some people who didn't notice. He aimed exclsuivly at the women with the megaphone. Without a second thought verde rushed in jumping on the man back.

The man pulled the trigger but his arm went up as his shot went in a different direction. As it did a loud shot rang out as everyone in the crowd got silent. Then they all started to run away from the shooter it seems screaming.

The protest group of faunus went wide eyed as they were going to leave to. They probably would get blamed for this but sienna looked around noticing verde and the man fighting each other. He was holding the man back who had the gun.

She narrowed her gaze as she produced a whip that was wrapped around her waist. It looked to be roguhyl six feet long and at the end of this chain was three blades. Each blade seemed to be able to detach from the were three blade in total and each had elemental dust in them. Those being electricity, fire and ice dust, the blade name was cerberus

The young doctor struggled against the shooter as the shooter soon broke free of the man grip. Then he pushed verde to the ground and glared at him raising his pistol at him.

"You shouldn't have done that doc"the man exclaimed

But then from the side a chain wrapped around his wrist. He turned to be met by the right hook from sienna. The man got hit square in the jaw as he fell over from his side to the ground. The man was kncoked out and the two looked at each other.

Amber eyes met with dark green eyes as they stared at each other. Sienna then offered a hand to the young verde. He took it isntalty as the women pulled him up.

"Thank you"verde replied as he dusted himself off.

"Hey I owe you, you probably just saved some faunus puling something like that"sienna complimented.

"Well I couldn't let the man shoot those people, you all would be hurt or worse"verde replied as sienna raised an eyebrow.

"People…your not going to call them beast, pest, and it?"she asked

Verde looked quite shocked at what she was suggesting"why would I your just normal people like any other human. You may have some extra features but that doesn't make you different"he simply replied

Sienna chuckled at the young doctor"you know what your good in my book ummm"sienna begun and verde introduced himself

"Verde Williams pleasure to meet you"he itnroduced himself.

"Sienna Khan leader of our little protest group. "She replied

The two stood their for a bit before a cop car arrived and immediately the officer pointed their guns at sienna.

"Drop the weapon right now!"he shouted

"Hold on i;m a huntress relax here let me–"sienna begun to reach for a scroll but the officer raied their guns at her.

She sighed as she put her hands up while verde watched. The officer slowly walked over as one was placing cuffs on sienna. Another came to check on him.

"Sir are you alright did she hurt you, we heard shots"the officer asked

"I'm alright though the one you should be arresting is him"verde replied pointing at the gunmen. The officer looked at him confused but glanced at the pistol neabry.

"Really sir pretty sure it might have–"he begun but verde stopped him.

"Sir are you doubting me also you didn't let her get a word in. This women saved my life and if shes a huntresses. It her duty to protect those who can't protect themselves. Also that man tried to shoot a group of peaceful protest"verde interupted telling the man facts.

The officer was about to say something until the older officer looked at sienna scroll. Then he pulled up something and it was indeed a huntress licensee with her face on it.

"Umm I think we made a mistake today sir. Sorry we'll leave you too you–"the officer begun as he uncuffed sienna.

"Actually no I want both your badge numbers right now or is that a problem?"verde asked as the officer hesitated it seems. But after a few minutes the two did jut that giving him their badges. The two then grabbed the gunman as they left the two while they drove off in their squad car.

The bengel faunus looked at the doctor who began to leave the women. Though she smiled at the man before whistling at him.

He turned to the women wondering what she wanted.

"Yes?"he asked as he had this arms behind your back.

"Hey how about I treat you to dinner or something this weekend for saving my ass"sienna suggested as young verde thought he had nothing better to do.

"Gladly"he replied as he walked back over giving the women his scroll number. Then he walked off into the city and sienna walked a different way

Present

"And that how we met"verde finished to a surprised colt.

"Dam you save her ass twice and then she asks you on a date. Smooth move doc"colt said as he took another drink.

"Well what can I say i'm a charmer with the ladies. Speaking of which i'm probably heading back right now. "Verde said as he got up from his seat. Then placed some lien on the counter as he walked away.

Colt waved him goodbye as he sat their to drink while a small radio played some music. Desmond was cleaning some glasses as colt sat their listening to the music.

He was deep in thought while he was their because that poor girl agreed to break the news to his friend. The man knew that once she heard it everything will be bad. All he hopes for is that she doesn't turn to anything drastic to help with her grief.

At a nearby table modercai was hiccuping to himself as he had a bottle of booze next to him. He had a small picture next to him of him in his usual getup. But their in the picture was a women with blonde hair and light purple eyes. She had fair skin and wore a sweater in the photo colored light blue.

While a light girl with dirty blonde hair were in between them smiling with her eyes closed. They seem to be at the fairgrounds of the vytal festival it seems. The girl seemed to be seven or six maybe. Along with that her skin was pale as she wore a blackish blue dress.

"Ughhh I miss yah two so much"modercai grumbled to himself lazily.

Then he lifted his bottle up as he took another drink of his liquor. Colt looked at the man sighing heavily because it did look pathetic. Man seemed to have lost some family and isn't taking it well.

Desmond noticed this as he was cleaning up the used glass from verde.

"Don't mind modercai hes just grieving is all"desmond said sadly.

"You know the guy kid or something?"colt asked drinking from his glas

Desmond gently nodded"yeah guys the best sharp shooter of the sea. He'd protect ferrys and sea vessel with Eliza. But recently he lost his wife and daughter during the fall"desmond replied

"I'm sorry for his lost, seems we're both grieving here"colt said as he stared at his reflection in his glass.

"Hmm sorry for your loss sir i'm sure they were great people"desmond reassured.

"Yeah, but now I gotta go to my friend and tell her son's dead. All I know right now is to prepare for the–"Colt begun before the air around them got a little colder.

The two along with modercai noticed this as they looked around. A thin fog started to roll in as it started to cover the ship. As the cloud touched the deck of the ship, passengers and crewmen where confused.

They could barely see anything from what was happening. But near the side of the ship a pair of webbed-like claws grabbed onto the railing as water dripped from their hands.

Near the bridge, Buckley was doing his best to navtigate through the fog but couldn't see anything. It was so thick that made them all feel a little uneasy. Where exactly did he take their voyage this time.

"Acitvate the floodlight"buckley ordered as a crewmna nodded.

Then a crewmate flipped a switch as two large lights beamed infront of the ship. It illuminated the way for them to traverse through the fog. As they sailed through for a bit soon a large rock like structure was illuminated.

Buckley eyes went wide then he gripped the wheel turning it all the way to the left. The ship moved away from the sharp rocks luckily avoiding damage to the hull. But some of the crew and passenger slid a little but managed to steady themselves.

But on the rocks several sets of eyes could be seen through the thick fog. A crew man saw this on the bow of the ship. A small floodlight was on the desk that emerged from a metal hatch from the wood.

He rushed over as he flashed the light over the glowing eyes. It was brief but several fish like creature were seen. This scared the crewman as he stumbled backwards.

"Sir their seems to be fish like creature on the rock!"crewman shouted from below.

Buckley groaned as he now knew why this place was called grimm reef. What ever these creatures are they seem to nest near those rocks from the looks of it.

"How many are their?"buckley questioned hoping their wasn't alot

"Can't say sir, probably a hundred of them judging by the looks of it"a crewman replied as she looked at the creatures.

"Sir we need to activate our defense if their that many"A crewman suggested.

Buckley looked at the rocks at the large hoard of these grimm. They were right they neded to defend the ship with their lives to protect their passengers.

"Dammit alright tell the crew to get to their battlestation. Protect the passenger and make sure they're safe,"Buckley ordered as the crew nodded to him.

Several of them began to click and press buttons on their consoles. While a few of them ran to a storage locker. They opened it and several swords, guns and other weapons were in their. They started to stoke up as they rushed downstairs.

Buckley grabbed a small intercom as he pressed a button. But then he saw another button on the console that said incase of grimm attack. He flipped it up as he slammed his hand onto the button.

Meanwhile in the halls Verde was walking toward the room to see if everyone was a few minutes of walking down the hall he got to their room. But as he was about to open someone from his left called out to him.

"Oh their you are have you seen Blake and onxyia?"bombay called out to the turned to see what the cat faunus wanted. But he noticed the three teens had some guest with them. One in a wheelchair and another a goat faunus.

"Hmm no maybe their inside the room, who are these two"verde asked as he opened the door. Neo and the two guest with them seem to follow them into the room. While yahto explained it to him who they were.

As he did Sienna looked from the inside of the room as Neo gentle pushed past him into the room. She waved as Chloe wheeled her way into the room.

"Well seems you kid made a friend, who are you ma'am?"Sienna asked

"I'm Chloe Ober me and my husbands are passenger on the ship. Early he helped that one from falling off the ship"chloe replied pointing at Neo.

The girl looked at the women who betrayed her. She gasped a little as Chloe laughed a little at the mute dramatics.

"Seriously I thought I said stay out of trouble"sienna replied annoyed but Neo put her arm behind her back whistling acting all innocent.

"Hey I didn't start trouble for once first nice"aruna added smiling while she layed in the bed.

Outside the room Yahto talked to Verde who was in the room now. While Bombay and Ruffus were with Yahto outside the room.

"Oh they're a couple that helped save neo from falling off the edge. We were wondering if they could–"yahto began but then a loud blaring noise blasted through the speakers of the ship. As this happened everyone covered their ears.

Verde, Chloe and Neo were in the room as this happened. But Bombay,Ruffus and Yahto were outside in the a metal door slammed down on their doorway hard. It made a clicking noise as it locked into place it seems.

"What the heck was that?"bombay asked

"The ships defenses but that would mean oh no"ruffus concluded as the two teens also relized that something bad was coming their way.

On the side of the ship Cella,will,Blake and Onxyia were walking toward the bow of the ship as the alarm came to life. The faunus covered their ears from the loud noise as they wondered what was going on.

The alarm balred for a bit and it sounded like someone blew five airhorns at once through a megaphone to the faunus.

"What the hecks with the alarm?"onxyia asked as she covered her ears that hurt from the loud alarm

"Did the ship get hit?"blake asked as she covered her ears.

Soon the alarm died down as the girls uncovered their ears. But Cella eyes went wide relizing what is happening right now.

"Crap we got grimm kids get ready"cella warned as she pulled out her halbard axe. It was light blue with a dolphin engraved on the blade in white. Along witht he handle being blue and having wave like images painted on it.

Soon several speakers came to life all around the ship. Most of which pointed into the rooms of the passengers or around the ship.

"Passenger I regret to inform you that we've seem to encounter grimm. Please stay in your rooms and let the huntsman and huntresses keep you safe. "Buckley began on a nearby speaker with some static.

Everyone around in their little areas looked at each other wondering what they were going to do. Colt and Desmond looked at each other worried. While Mordercai looked up from his table lazily rubbing his head.

In the lounge beatrix, milfred and other who were with them were trapped in the lounge safe it seems. But they didn't seem to mind at all since they couldn't care less.

While in the room the group stayed in Verde looked a little concerned by this. While Chloe looked at the metal door infront of the room worried about her husband. Neo got out hush ready for anything that might come their stood next to her mother as she groaned in pain a little.

"Oh and another thing, thank you Beatrice for making us take this path you vulture"he added rudely through the speaker.

Beatrix heard this as she huffed a the sea capitan. Her and many others were trapped in the lounge area it seems. Metal shutters closed them in along with the stairs being blocked by them.

Blake pulled out her gambrol shroud ready for a fight and her cleaver. While Onxyia pulled out her glaive and tiwlred it ready to fight. Will stood their because the man was a scientist not a fight.

"Umm ladies I don't have a weapon"will pointed out and toward each of their weapons.

Cella then reached behind her belt as she produced a small shotgun had three barrels on it with dust glowing around the barrels. Then she pulled a pouch off and tossed it to the man. He fumbled with it for a bit before catching it.

"Their you go now your armed now be prepared"cella warned as will hastily put the pouch on his hip. Along with holding the gun with a decent posture it seems.

Soon several crew members from below deck came up with rifles, swords, axe and other weapons in hand. All of them wore striped blue and white shirts with brown naval all had a gold scarf around their necks.

Eliza was close behind them as she looked around at the thick fog around them. Then she looked toward the group of four rushing could barely make them out still.

"Cella their you are were are the grimm?"she asked looking around the thick fog.

Cella looked around the ship but couldn't see anything it seemed. This dam fog blocked their vision and they couldn't see where the grimm were.

"I don't know this dam fog it too thick"cella complained as the group slowly got back to back with each other. The crew and them formed a circle with all their weapons drawn ready to fight the grimm.

As they stood their waiting for the grimm, a pair of claws reached over the side of the ships railing pulling itself up. Then several other creatures pulled themselves up along with it. Then several wet thugs could be heard.

Along with figures in the fog that seem to be dripping wet from their entire the figures moved around them like they were circling them.

The group heard wet footsteps running around in the fog as everyone looked around. They patiently waited to see what was their as unseen foe hadn't attack yet.

Then from the fog something grabbed one of the sailors as he screamed as he was dragged away by two figures. They dragged him toward the edge and jumped off with him.

They all went wide eyed at what just happened as one rush to save him. But then another figure tackled him hissing it seems as he screamed in agony.

Then onxyia had an idea she lifted her right hand as a blinding light surrounded them. But she dimmed it enough for theme to be able to see around five to ten meteres around the light shined it illuminated the sailor getting drag off by some sort of creature. A creature covered it eyes as it stared at them.

Their in front of them is a humanoid like being but it was strange. It had fish scales all over it's bodie that were jet black in apperance. Along with that it's hands and feet were webbed that were colored crimson red. But on their hands they had sharp talon like claws.

But it's face was disgusting because it looked to be a type of fish head. Though its mouth was large in appearance and had rows of sharp teeth in it. Their was a pair of gills on it that were red along with fins on the side of its head. The top of its head was bald except for one large red dorecil fin. Its eyes were glowing orange.

"What the hell is that"a sailor yelled, pointing a rifle at it, ready to shoot it.

"They look like aquatic faunus but they look like grimm"onxyia pointed out as she kept her semblance active.

Though Blake looked closer because they seem to look more fish like than any sort of aquatic faunus.

"No, in ports class their are some grimm that can resemble humans. "Blake added

"You know I think i've heard of these grimm, their called gulpers' 'elize said as she readed her flintlock and cavalier sword.

"Why are they called that?"will questioned worried

"Because if they swarm you the gulp you up by dragging you into the sea"elize answered though the man wasn't pleased to hear that.

The gulper then hissed at the light as it started to lung at the source of the light. Onxyia looked at it but then blake stepped in as she slashed at the beast. It fell down to the ground with a wet smack.

Cella raised her halbrad and slammed it into the creature chest killing it. Then it disppeared into a plum of black several more started to come from the side of the ship as they swarmed them.

Two rushed toward elize but she dodged one as she shot it in the back of the head. Then she kicked one to the ground with a left kick. Once on the ground she jabbed her sword into its head killing it. Another came at her as she blocked its swipe. It opened it mouth trying to bite her but she lifted her flintlock dumping a round in its skull killing it.

Three gulpers came for blake and she stepped back as they tried to grab her. She then slashed at one as it stumbled. Then she jabbed her blade into its gut killing it. Another one lunged at her but she used shadow to leave a clone of her. It shot her back a bit as the grimm clawed at the clone.

It looked confused before blake lifted her prosehteic arm. She moved her fingers outward as sharp claws emerged from it. Then she rushed in slashing at it with her new set of claws. The sidestepped it as it swung at her. Then she jammed her blade under its head killing it.

Will seemed a little scared right now because he's barely had experience fighting. One gulper came at him and he aimed the shotgun pistol at it. He pulled the trigger as it blew its head clean off. Will was a little surprised this but gave a small smile killing his first grimm.

Another one came at him and Cella tackled it to the ground. Before it could get up she lifted her axe up bringing it down onto the beast killing it. Then another one came and slashed at her but her aura took the hits. Then she kicked it back as it fell to the ground growling and gurgling at her.

She pressed a buton on her axe handle, soon it transformed into a kar ninety eight rifle. The axe blade was on the rifle stock and she took aim. She shot the grimm in the head as it disppeared. She quickly turned around dispatching a few more of them with each shot.

Though Onxyia was having a bit of trouble because she was the only person keeping light around them. The sailors did their best to protect her but they were slowly getting picked off. One slashed at a gulper killing it but then two more arrived as they tackled him.

It brought up its maws as it bite down hard onto the mans neck. The sailor screamed as blood trickled from his wound slowly dying. The second one started to bite into his side eating him. A sailor saw this and blasted the two off his dead freind. He killed one and the other hissed at him before getting filed with lead in the face.

"These things don't stop coming"a sailor said as he dispatched another one shooting at it.

With each shot they took it illuminated them in the fog. It showed blake fighting off some of these grimm along with her jumping up and kicking it off the side of the ship. Then another shot went off illimunating will as he blasted another one back.

Then elize jumped kicked one back as it knocked into a small group of these gulper grimm. She then aimed her flintlock firing it and a red muzzle flash went off. The gulpers caught on fire as they gugrlged it seems, screaming maybe as they died.

"Keep it up men, we can take em"elize said in confidence

"Yeah, their has to be an end to them"blake added

Onxyia breathed heavy as she held her hand up, it was exhausting to do it this long with her smeblance Yang.

"yeah…it better…be soon…don't know if I can hold on much longer"onxyia added as the group kept fighting them off for their lives.

Meanwhile near the side of the ship bombay and yahto were heading toward the bow of the ship. Maybe their they could find out what was going on. Ruffus was behind them worried about his wife but he felt safer with them.

Bombay looked behind her glancing at the man barely seeing his face of worry.

"Don't worry sir she'll be safe, those door seem pretty thick"bombay reassured.

"I know I just hope nothing bad happens to her. I care deeply for her"Ruffus replied smiling a little.

As the three kept trying to head to the bow of the ship. But soon enough two figures walked in front of them and they were confused. They looked to be human but at the same time they looked strange.

"Umm hey are you guys passenger here let us–"yahto began before from the fog the gulper came at him.

He went wide eye before he tiwrled his tomahawk back then jammed it into its skull killing it. The second one came at bombay but she lifted her right leg. Then kicked it into the metal wall of the ship. It hit it with a loud thud but it was still alive. The creature hissed at her but she stomped on its throat killing it .

More started to emerge from the fog infront of them and bombay turned one of her schimitar into a pistol. Then he handed it to ruffus the man was surrpsied that she handed him this. But he nodded as he took aim and fired a few shots at the grimm.

The goat faunus fired a few shots and each one headshoted the grimm. They fell to the ground dead as they dispapeared into smoke. The two looked at ruffus who was a little stunned by this. But he nerovusly laughed at his sharpshooting skills.

"Nice shot, though I might need it back now"bombay said which confused the man. He reluctantly gave it back.

Then Bombay looked around noticing a corpse on the gorund. She sighed as she walked through the fog. Then she looked at the dead sailor on the ground. The cat faunus closed his eyes to give him some peace. Then she noticed a shotgun nearby and picked it up with the pouch connected to it.

She walked back producing the shotgun and handed it too him. Ruffus studied it as he grip the pump and unloaded a spent shell. He nodded as the three then continued to head toward the bow of the ship.

Meanwhile in the bar area Colt and Desmond where looking around wondering where the grimm were. Desmond had a small pistol in his hands as they shook. He could barely hold the gun but he had it just in case anything happened. As they stood their for what seemed like hours.

Soon enough one gave from below the stairs gurgling and hissing at the two. Colt noticed this and got into a boxing stance. He deliver a hard right hook to the beast jaws. The man hit it so hard as it went over the railing into the sea below. It hit a railing on the way down as it disappeared into smoke.

Another one came up as it came at Desmond, he lifted his pistol as he sqeezed the triger. He fired a few shots as it stumbled back a bit with each shot. Then he fired another shot into its head killing it. The creature fell backwards on the ground dead.

More started to come and a few went to modercai. He was rubbing his head slowly because that alarm gave him a headache. As he sat their the gulpers walked toward him throwing chairs out of the way to kill him. Colt delviered a swift uppercut to another gulper and looked at the drunk sniper.

"dammit , hey watch out their–"Colt begun before modercai looked at the gulpers infront of him.

He snorted and spit on deck of the ship. Then he reached for his rifle on his back as he took aim and pulled the trigger. He dispatched one as his rifle muzzle flashed in the fog. Then as one got close he used the booze bottle in his hand as he smashed it onto its head. Glass shards were embedded into its skull.

Then he swung his rifle stock while holding it by the barrel into it face. It launched it back to colt who punch it in the air sending it over the edge. The last one came at modercai as he lfited his head back headbutting it. It stumbled a little and he flipped his rifle as he jammed the barrel into its mouth. Then with a pull of a trigger he blasted its head clean off.

"Nice shot"desmond complimented the drunk sniper.

"Nothing too it….dam gulpers"modercai replied as he loaded a new round in.

"The hell are gulpers?"colt asked as he readyed for more of these gulpers to come.

"A bunch of grimm fish hybrids, their dangerous. They use fogs to mask their number, though their weak. So easy kills"modercai replied as he slid over the counter.

Then he began to grab a few liquor bottles and placed them on the counter. Desmond groaned at this because he was thinking of drinking right now.

"Seriously a drink right now when were–"Desmond begun.

"These aint for drinking kid, more like a fiery surprise for these fish freak. Anyone in the mood for fried fish"modercai ask as he produced a molotov cocktail.

"Wouldn't that burn the ship down?"colt asked because if the ship caught of fire they would go down.

"No from what I recall these things have a small nest on land. Throw one of these at it and watch then go into flame"modercai replied

Desmond watched their backs as they talked as he aimed his pistol around scared.

"Ok….that sounds like a good idea. How we gonna find their nest?"Colt ask as the three made their way downstairs. As they did one more rushed at them up the stairs and colt kicked it down the stairs.

The gulper tumbled down the stairs and then landed on its neck. A loud crack could be heard as it layed their dead and soon disppeared into blake smoke. He wasn't kidding these things are easy to kill.

The three rushed to where all these creatures where but as this happen in the room with everyone else something was happening. Sienna was holding her stomach as she kneeled on the ground.

She screamed a little as they all look at her worried what was going on. Then Verde rushed over wide eyed relziing something.

"Honey are you alright?"verde questioned with sienna looking at him.

"i…I think the baby coming"Sienna replied as the people in the room got silent. Verde looked worried because they barely had the necessary equipment to delivery a baby here. But they can make do right now.

"Wait oh come on couldn't they just wait till we get out of here"aruna groaned that her sibling decided to do this now.

This made Neo gulped nervously because this meant bad things. A crying baby could attract the grimm to their room.

"Hurry help me get your mother to the bed."verde ordered as Aruna helped bring sienna over to the bed. They layed the women onto the bed as she breathed heavy it seems. With each breath being more labored than the last and she seemed to be in pain.

Chloe wheeled over to the side of the bed wondering how she could help.

"Do you need anything from me?"Chloe aksed

"Yes, here hold her hand i'll perform the procedure. "Verde replied as he went to his bag. He unzipped it and pulled out a small emergency medical kit. Then he placed it on a small desk table next to him.

Then he put some plastic gloves on his hands and a mask. While Aruna looked around worried about what was going on. Then she eyed the weapon cases graoning at what she was going to ask.

"Neo…i'm sorry to ask this but.."aruna asked as neo was watching the door with her parasol.

The mute raised an eyebrow at what the girl wanted to ask. But she figured out what she was going to ask. She put her umbrella down a second and walked over to the weapon case.

She flipped the latches up as it clicked telling her it was open. Then she flipped it open as she looked at zanes weapons. She sighed as she grabbed one of his revolver named malice.

Then she walked over putting it aruna hands and aruna looked at her. She stared at the revolver and then gripped the handle tight. Then she took aim at the door for anything that comes their way.

"Thanks…don't worry i'll make sure I don't break it"aruna reassured and neo nodded to her.

Meanwhile Verde began to prepare for the eventual arrival of his child. While Sienna sat their holding Chloe hand as she breathed heavily. She tried to pace herself for every five seconds and then took a breath.

"Your doing okay dear"verde reassured his wife

"You better get that thing out you put it in their. And you take it out"sienna growled as Verde nervously laughed. Aruna and neo watched the door for anything that might happen. While Verde and Chloe helped sienna with the baby.

This chapter was very interesting with how sienna and verde became a thing in years prior. Along with that the introduction of a new sea themed grimm...the gulper! It was fun trying to think of one for this volume. Though sienna seems to be going into labor now which might spell trouble. Thanks for reading!
