Chapter 13 Black and White:Arrival

After about thirty minutes of going through rocks and cliffs. Buckley was doing his best to avoid damage to his ship. If that happened then everyone on board would be taken by the ocean and the grimm in the sea.

They kept steering through several cliffs and rocks until a crewman looked through the fog. He narrowed his gaze to see if he could get a better look. Then he saw that the fog seemed to be dying done a little from the looks of it.

The crewman smiled from this"sir were almost out of the fog it seems"he replied happily.

Buckley smiled at this"good then all we gotta do is deal with these blighters aboard and were home free"buckley replied

"Yeah though i'm giving beatrice a piece of my mind making us take this route"a crew man said

"Not till i'm through with her frist my boy"buckley added as he couldn't wait to give that women piece of his mind.

But as the ship started to clear through the fog in the distance something moved from underneath the water. A large dragon like beast swam toward the ship with all the despair and fear on board calling to it.

Back on the bow of the ship blake slashed through another grimm. Then another one came lunging at her. She ducked as it went above her head, then she lifted her blade as she sliced through it while it forward. The gulper was split in half as it layed dead on the ground.

Onxyia soon dropped her hand and fell to her knees on the ground. Their one and only light source was gone. This worried the group as they were now in the dark. Onxyia breathed heavy as she stood up as a gulper grabbed her by the tail.

Then she lifted her glaive as she swung at it vertical slicing its arm off. The creature cried out in pain but then the girl swifitng kicked the side of what its skull was. It fell to the ground as she then lifted her glaive bringing it down onto the grimm killing it.

Eliza was slowly getting overun as she could barely see where she was. Something grabbed behind her and she turned around quickly slicing its head off. She looked down and luckily it was a grimm. She sighed in relief as she blocks the strikes from the gulpers.

Then one slashed at her leg as two claw marks cut her leg. She winced as she fell to one knee but she lifted her flintlock blasting a hole in its chest. Eliza slowly moved her leg up as she slahed another one down dead. Then another came at her hitting her knocking her sword out of her hands. She went wide eyed and luckily lifted her flintlock dispatching the one who knocked her sword out of her hand.

They couldn't do anything with this fog here because they could risk harming each other. Cella swung her halbard in a circle killing gulpers hopefully it seems. She heard gurgling and hissing from whatever she hit. Something jumped onto her back and bit her in the shoulder.

"Arghh get off me you fish freak!"she screamed in pain as she reached behind her back to throw it off her. Then another one jumped ontop of her trying to bit her. The gulper brought its maws done to chomp on her but she luckily stopped it before it could.

She held back it mouth as it tried to bite her throat. The first mate pushed what she thought was it throat as the other one kept biting on her shoulder. She moved her head forward then threw it backwards into the one behind her.

It seemed to stun it then she lifted her legs pushing the one on top of her off. She quickly got up holding her shoulder as blood sweeped from her wound. Cella looked for her weapon but couldn't find it anywhere.

Then from behind she backed up into something and she turned ready to hit it. But then she adjusted her vision seeing it was will. The two then went back to back against each other wondering what their next step was.

"So….you think we'll make it out of this?"cella asked confident.

"We need I got a little girl back home…well not soo little anymore but you get the point"Will replied as he fired another shotgun from the pistol provided by cella.

Cella chuckled a little wincing as she held her shoulder that bled"don't worry we'll make it, you'll see her I promise"cella reassured.

"Thank you, i'm sure we'll all make it out of this"will replied as they waited for what was next.

Soon enough everyone started to converge on the bow of the ship. Yahto rushed through barely seeing anything but saw a familiar cat tail in the fog. He rushed to it looking for it then he saw it. Yahto rushed over to them grabbing them by the shoulder

"Bombay that you?"he asked as a katana blade came at him. He doged it luckily and then blake came into his view.

She went wide eyed relziing it was him"crap sorry thought you were one of these things"blake quickly apolgized.

"Your alright but do these things give up"yahto asked as the two were back to back. One came at him as he lifted ivory to the side of the grimm head killing it. Blake turned gambrol shroud into a pistol. She waited for a bit to one to come at her as she did her ears twitched.

The cat waited as she heard wet footsteps to her right. Then she aimed her pistol shooting whatever was their. A gulper fell foward dead to the ground in front of her. She smiled but as she was ready for another one to come.

Soon enough the fog around the group slowly disppeared from them. Then they soon emerged on the other side as a night sky above could be seen above illuminating them. Around the their weren't that many gulpers left it seems.

But a few dead sailors layed aorund them dead. Though several rifle shot could be heard and it was thanks to a drunk sniper. He aimed down his scope as he put a bullet between once gulpers head. Then quickly kneel as he switched his target at one coming at Ruffus. It was trying to bite him and then as it opened its mouth one more time.

A loud shot rang out domeing the creatures head killing it. It fell down to the ground dead as it started to disppears into smoke. Ruffus smiled at the man who grined happy it seems. They dealt with the remaining gulper that were left on the bow of the ship in a few minutes.

The ship was now clear of grimm and everyone started to cheer in their victory against the beast. Up in the bridge the captain grabbed the radio smiling and he was about to make another announcement.

"Attention all passenger we've dealt with the grimm were…..WATCH OUT!"he said into the radio as the people on the bow of the deck where confused. Then they all turneed toward the direction the ship was sailing.

Their in the air flying toward them was a large object. It was a grimm with a enormous serpentine body with large red wings, short arms with claws, a bone-scaled underbelly and spiked spine. It has black skin and a large external skull, as well as red glowing gills on each side of its neck. The giant grimm roared at the ship.

"What the hell is that?!"yahto shouted

"I don't know but its a pretty anger grimm"Desmond added scared

Blake studied the grimm for a second relziing what it is.

"Its a Sea Feilong!Blake shouted to the group.

"Crap that aint good get to cover!"modercai shouted as they all did just that. The grimm then opened it's mouth as it fired a stream of electricity at the ship.

The boat rocked a little as everyone held on for dear life. As they did in their room Sienna was screaming a little and took deep breaths every second. Verde kept instructing her on what to do.

"Keep going its almost there"he ordered his wife.

Sienna groaned as she narrowed her eyes"what do you think i'm going!"she shouted

"Calm down dear it'll be alright"chloe said as the faunus gripped the womens hand tiger and Chloe winced.

Aruna was a little scared right now with what the captain just said on the intercom right now. Did more grimm come are they going to die. The revovler shook in her hands as she stared at the metal doors in front of her.

Though Neo noticed the girl shaking and then put a hand on the revolver she held. She looked at neo who smield at her.

"Sorry…just nervous is all never held a gun"aruna replied

"Well theirs a first time for everything dear"sienna said as she breathed and groaned.

"Really huh never though I get a weapons lesson from you right now"aruna joked

Sienna chuckled a little then grunted in pain"now…..a good…of….time as any"sienna said inbetween grunts.

"Make sure not to hold it with one hand, that thing looks like it packs a punch"sienna instructed as aruna held it with both hands.

"Alright whats next?"Aruna asked

"Have the hammer that little thing near the back of it is pull back"sienna said next.

Aruna looked near the top of the revolver then she pulled the thing her mother described.A loud clicking noise could be heard.

"Done anything else?"aruna asked looking toward her mother.

Sienna chuckeld as she grunted and squeezed chloe hand. The wheelchaired women ball her fist up smacking the table next to her loudly. The bengel faunus sure had a grip on her.

"Nothing else….just point and shoot…who know maybe you…could be a huntress"sienna told her daughter who smiled.

"Hmmm nope she'll be a doctor like her dad I bet"verde joked.

"You shush keep working"Sienna retorted as Verde flinched a little and continued

Back in the bridge Buckley looked at the console next to him. A button that said heavy cannon and display came up. A crewman knew what he wanted and he pressed it for him. Then a small display came up of a large cannon.

On the bow of the ship everyone scrambled to figure out what they were going to do. Then from the middle of the wooden deck the wood moved outward toward the sea. From below a large heavy cannon like artillery weapon emerged from the ship.

"Seems we got the big guns out, thought that thing is too fast"modercai pointed out.

Blake looked at the dragon grimm as it flew around in the air. If they got rid of its wings then they could ground the thing for the cannon to kill it.

"I got a plan!"blake shouted as she rushed over onto the bow aiming her hand toward a small crows nest like area. She flexed it before shooting her claw upward. Then flexed her wrist forward as she shot upward.

Once she was ontop of the crows nest flipping in the air as her hand returned to her. She glared at the grimm before aiming her pistol at it. Blake fired a few shots at the monster which got its attention. The monster then looked at her as it looked at it's new prey. It roared as it flew toward her.

When the beast got close it opened it mouth to try and eat her but before it could she activated her semblance as she left a fiery clone in its place as blake avoided the grimm throwing gambroul shroud into its neck as she latched onto it.

Bombay relized what she was doing and so did onxyia. The cat faunus aimed her blades as she fired then into its side latching onto it. Then with a press of a button she shot fowards on it. Onxyia aimed her blade at the beast before clicking button launching the blade into the beast.

Then she clicked another as it shot her foward into the beast back. Meanwhile the monster had bit down on the fiery prey but doing so caused an explosion to stagger the monster but not slow it down. Suddenly the three faunus girls were on the beast back.

They relized blake plan as bombay rushed down the beast back while it was still stunned for now. Onxyia ran to the right side while bombay ran to the left side. The cat faunus then got close to its wings as she flipped off toward it.

Then she brought both her blades down as she dove through the grimms wings. She sliced right through them as the grimm roared in pain. At the same time Onxyia brought her glaive off using it too push herself off. Then she dove off at the same time slicing off the grimm other wings. It roared in pain.

Though it turned around in time throwing blake off toward the bow of the ship. She barely had any time to react as she shot her hand foward luckily grabbing onto the window of the bridge room. In the room the crew was shocked by a hand connecting to the glass. Then shot up blake who planted her feet on the glass with her hand still attached to it.

Soon enough the large grimm started to swim at them head on geting revenge for its wings they took. As it got close blake lifted her other hand up to signal them to fire on her mark. The grimm kept getting closer and closer to them. Soon enough it did and blake gave the signal.

"FIRE!"She shotued as buckley did just that. He slammed a button as the grimm opened its mouth to attack them again. But it was stopped as a loud artillery shot could be heard. It hit the grimm in the head as it exploded into several piece. The grimm bodie was blown in half as it layed their dead.

Everyone started to cheer at their win today. Blake looked at the bridge room at buckley. The sea captain smiled at the girl as he took his hat off. Then he put it on his chest as he bowed to the girl. They were now on their way to menagerie safe and sound.

The metal shutter on all the doors started to come back up as the passenger slowly came from their room. They all wondered if it was over right now Buckley got on the intercom smiling.

"Folks we've made it through the worst of it. Were safe thanks to the efforts of everyone on the bow of the ship"buckley announced as a few cheers could be heard throughout the ship.

Everyone at the bow smiled a little at their victory and happy they made it out alive today. Cella shoulder was heavily bleeding but she looked aroundnoticng the eight sailors they lost today. She sighed heavily because she promised to keep these men and women safe.

Though they knew their jobs to protect the passenger at all cost. But it still hurt to loose some good people today.

After about twenty minutes of covering up the dead sailors the captain along with beatrice walked toward them.

The snob of a women looked disgusted at the dead bodies.

"Ughh throw those thing in the water they–"she begun but onxyia stopped her.

"No shut the hell up your rich snob!"She shotued at the old women who glared at her. While everyone watched her do this.

"How dare you, someone should muzz–"she begun but the wolf faunus stopped her.

"No you listen we all just saved your lives. How about be grateful for what these men and women did."onxyia begun as she walked over toward the women with an anger look.

She got right in her face glaring at her and the women did the same.

"Their all gone protecting your old wrinkle butt and everyone else. But they were probably happy to save everyone from the grimm. Though its you and your dumb firends fault we took this way"onxyia continued as the women turned away at the mention of this.

Beatrice crossed her arms under her bust looking away with a disheartened expression it seems.

"Another thing if we didn't take this way they could be alive think about others before thinking about yourself"she finished as she pushed past the old women. Milfred was about to say something to her but the old woman stopp him.

She covered her eyes rubbing them then looked at the sailros bodies who layed dead in front of her. Beatrice walked over to them standing over their bodies as the captian stood next to her.

The women took a deep breath and looked at the captain who glanced at her with his hands behind her back.

"Something to say ma'am"he asked knowingly.

"Yes"she simply replied as they sat their in silence for a bit.

"I'm sorry for making us take this path. I'll gladly compensate you for the damages. And… sending something to the familys of these fine people"beatriced replied

The captain soften his gaze looking at the women who returned it. Then he layed a hand on her shoulder nodding to her. The two looked at the fallen sailors as the other went after onxyia.

Down the side of the ship onxyia was composing herself right now because they'd be in menagerie probably in the next few hours. Since they took this way buckley said their time was cut in half by a day.

"Take a deep breath and calm yourself"she said to herself as she did just that. As she walked back to the room.

But once she got their to open the door to their room a voice called out to her.

"Onxyia!"blake shouted as the wolf faunus looked over to see her, Yahto, Bombay, Colt ,Will and another man with them.

"Oh hello is something wrong?"she questioned innocently.

Bombay stared at the wolf faunus narrowing her gaze"are you kidding me you just went off on that women. "Bombay added

"Who was a racist toward faunus"ruffus added seeming to have ran into the women early maybe.

"Hmm your not wrong but seriously that was something"yahto added in shocked the girl could act like that.

Blake just chuckled a little at her, onxyia known to blow up at times. This must have been when one of those times when she let her fangs out.

"Can't say i'm impressed right now, nice job putting her in her place"colt added

"Yes, but lets go lay down we'll be in menagerie soon and I want some sleep"onxyia said as she opened the door to their room. They shuffled in but as they walked in they were meet by the sound of cooing and crying in the room.

The group stood their shocked a little as they wondered what happened which they were gone. Soon they all walked into the room to see everyone crowded around one of the bed. Their in the bed was sienna carrying someone wrapped in a towel.

Their in her arms was a small baby boy with a dark skin complexion. On top of his head was light brown hair with a pair of bengel ears on him. He was slowly shushed to sleep as the five looked at the group.

"Your back, how was defending the ship?"aruna calmly aksed

"Great…we killed a giant sea dragon and some fish mosnter"yahto replied a littl shocked to see a baby in here now.

The group slowly made their way over to see this. As Rufus made his way over to his wife embracing her. She retuned the embrace happy he came back to her. Then held it for a bit before letting go and looking at the miracle in front of them.

"Well i'll be….guess today has alot of surprise for us it seems"ruffus said with the group agreeing it seems.

"Yes…though…i'm going to need to ice my hand for a few weeks"chloe replied as she stretched her hand that was sore.

"Sorry dear you wanted to help, I needed a stress ball"sienna joked as chloe chuckled a little.

Neo smiled looking at the baby a little as it slept soundly in her mothers arms it seems.

While Verde was dropping his gloves in a disposal bag from the med kit. Then he looked at his wife smiling and their son. Though the question on everyone mind what was the childs name.

"So, what is your little bundle of joys name?"Colt asked crossing his arms smiling.

"Oh can I name him pleaseee"Aruna begged doing the puppy dog eyes at her.

Sienna wasn't convinced to let her daughter name her new baby brother. Along with that she wasn't on par with ruby or velvet level of cuteness.

"Yeah were not letting you name your little brother dear"verde replied to his daughter who sighed in defeat.

"Awww he looks cute"bombay commented on the baby in a girly voice. Then her eyes buldged a little because the girl been this tough macho girl with them since day one.

"I mean….hes cute"she quickly corrected herself.

"Yeah right, though what his name?"onxyia asked getting the topic.

Sienna and verde looked at their new son who spit a little it seems. Verde grabbed a small cloth cleaning it off then the two looked at the group.

"Sorrel…his name is Sorrel Khan"sienna replied as the khan family welcomed a new member of the family. The group were on their way to menagerie to finally see their family. But some had troubling news to delvier to one tiger faunus

Their voyage was succesful as they were reaching menagerie now. Along with that the miracle of birth known as sorrel khan, and it seems beatrix was put into her place by that wolf. Though soon they will need to deliver heartbreaking news to someone.
