Shui is Fenghuang's daughter. She has white and black feathers, golden wings, beak, and talons, and her eyes are violet. She wears a white and yellow outfit.
Shui was born in oblivion to Fenghuang and an unnamed mystical owl. The two were then transported back to the real world but were captured shortly after. Shui was taken from her mother and kept in the prison nursery. Shui initially wanted to help her mother escape but after hearing of the horrible things she did, she quickly dismissed this. Shui grew happy with her new friends and in the Valley of Peace, where she acted as a fortune teller. Eventually, Shui and her friends reunite with their parents after the latters are allowed a day to visit their kids in the season 3 finale.
Shui is shown to be honorable, respectful, and merciful, as shown giving a croc bandit the chance to escape. She is also intelligent, being able to perform shielding spells and was able to hold back a massive wave during a tsunami. Shui is also shown to have an advanced knowledge of medicine and ancient healing techniques.
Shui had a close bond with her mother and wanted to be reunited with her.
Shui has a close bond with Sandhill and is implied to have feelings for him.
She also has a sisterly bond with Anhinga.
