Chapter 19:Approaching Strom
Blake,Sun and Nadia raced through the street of menagerie over to the infirmary as quickly as they sould. The makeshift banaged around onxyia chest was now not blue but soaked as it darken in color. Nadia was carrying the girl with ease because sun struggled to hold her because she was a little tall. Which made it hard to keep balance. Onxyia was losing conscious but tried to stay awake as she lost blood.
"Did you get…sorrel"onxyia said wincing from the made Sun raise an eyebrow what she meant by that.
"No but hang in their for can't lose you"blake replied
"I'm fine…just go after him sienna can't lose her son"oxnyia said with some sadness in her voice.
"We can rescue him later, for now your hurt and you need medical attention"nadia aded
The four of them arrived at the infirmary and katherine was with a nurse as she was busy. She had a clipboard in hand as she turned to them.
"Hello what–"katherine begun but stopped as she saw her daughter bleeding heavily. She went wide eyed seeing this dropping the clipboard.
"What happen?!"katherined asked worried as she went over to her daughter.
"We got attacked and onxyia took a hit to the chest. Shes bleeding pretty badly."blake said. Katherine looked at nadia motioing her to bring her daughter to the back of the infirmary. They followed her for a bit as nadia layed onxyia on a bed.
The girl winced in pain as her wound seemed to have gotten worse. Katherine was trying not to freak out as she composed her self. Then she took a deep breath as she removed the banaged from onxyia chest.
"What are you doing she-"sun begun but blake stopped him. He was confused by this because she is hurt. But then he looked over to see what katherine was doing.
Katherine took a deep breath before placing a hand on her daughter chest. Then a light green aura surrounded her as a glowing spot on Katherine's chest glowed. It was the same spot as where onxyia wound was.
As they watched Katherine recoiled a little wincing in pain which made sun worry even more. Blake though knew what she was doing. Her semblance is known as return to sender, shes able to heal someones injuries. But as a result she recieves large amount of pain from where the injury was.
Though it does drain her aura depending on how bad the injury is. After a bit of time onxyia relaxed a little as she layed on the bed sleeping a little. Katherine though fell backwards as she held her chest for a minute.
"Are you okay?"sun asked worried as he helped her up. As he did he noticed onxyia wound closed up. He was in shock at what he was seeing right now.
"Whoa…how did you go that?"sun questioned.
Katherine groaned as she got up walking over to a chair sitting down.
"My semblance can heal certain wounds…..though I get the backlash from the pain. "Katherine replied as she looked over at onxyia.
"But i'm happy my little girl safe"katherine said as she looked at the three.
"What exactly happened?"katherine questioned worried
Blake gripped her metal arm tightly"they kidnapped sorrel"blake siad in anger as katheirne and sun went wide eyed
"What?!"they both said in unison at what they just heard.
"Are you kidding me the white fang are kidnapping kids now"sun said as he smacked his hand on a table.
Blake seemed anger as she looked at onxyia sleeping on the bed. She then walked out as the three looked at her. Sun and nadia chased her while katherine watched over her daughter.
Outside blake walked toward the nearest wall which was a brick wall punching it with her right hand. It left a small crater their as she looked at her hand opening it then clenching her fist.
"Whoa! Easy their blake getting anger right now won't solve anything"sun said as he examined the wall blake punch. She managed to make a small hole in the wall which scared him
"No its not fine! They just kidnapped a baby…a baby!"blake shouted in anger at their situation.
"Look i know this is bad but he said trade off, that ollie kid will probably send us a message or something. Right now we need to go check on sienna"nadia replied
"Your right god she is going to be devastated"sun added as that kid has barley been around. Now hes been kidnapped by some thugs.
Blake sighed heavily"your right but….why would she even help them. What goals can they accomplish for doing this?"Blake questioned
"I don't know but this doesn't seem like what the white fang would do. "Nadia pointed out.
"Yeah, but let head back and explain to sienna. Then get some sleep and figure out what we can do tomorrow"sun suggested as Blake nodded as they all three walked back to the belladonna house. Blake gave one last look before walking back toward the house.
Once they were their they saw sienna crying in the dinning hall. They looked at her as she stared at them with sadness in her eyes. Verde was frustrated right now trying not to lose his cool. While Aruna was sitting on a couch with jazmine comforting their cousin.
The group then explained to them what happened. How Ollie had kidnapped sorrel with yenna and ilia help. Along with that explaining that he said something about contacting them when the time is right. They all talked for a bit before heading back to bed but a few of them stayed awake that night just incase.
Meanwhile with Ollie and the others back at the White Fang base he was happy with himself for what he did. Not only that it most likely sent a message to those traidotrs Blake and Onxyia but she was able to injury and probably kill that wolf as well. Though right now he had to figure out what he was going to do with the crying child.
"Ughhh yenna duct tape that things mouth shut or whatever"ollie ordered but ilia stopped her.
"No"ilia protested as the two looked at her.
"What do you mean by no girl"ollie growled looking at her with malice.
Ilia looked nervous as she closed her eyes"if we do that he could die then we lose the bargaining chip"ilia quickly said waiting for her punishment. But she slolwy rleized nothing tocuhed her and opened them.
She saw ollie smiling a little at that because he then gestured for yenna to hand the girl the babby. Yenna walked over handing her sorrel as ilia looked at him. She gently held him as she went to go sit down rocking him.
Then ollie thought about another situation of providing willing soldier to help bring down Haven Academy since after the attack on Beacon they arrested over half their forces leaving them rahter bare and he would need more to take down sucha place like haven. Along with that those traditors leaving which caused them to worry.
But he made sure yenna told them if they left they would suffer from their new friends. He hoped that the message the sent would make faunus gain the courage to rise up against humanity but that dam bengel faunus was going to be a problem. Though kidnapping her kid may help with that problem along with another one. Along with that he had forces on the main land and hoped they gathered enough forces to do what they need them to do.
He then brought out a detailed map of the entirety of Haven. It had alots of places for people to hide and a skilled huntsman would be able to exploit them. There were also the mountains to deal with as well which were Haven Academy resided as the mountains themselves acted as a defense wall to protect it from outside invaders.
This was going to be a difficult invasion but with high risk came high reward in his case the downfall of Haven Academy and the slaughter many more humans and faunus if they got in their way.
As he contemplated this one of his soldier came in"high leader Ollie their are people here approaching the base."the soldier stated
"How many?"he asked and wondered if they were found out or was it someone else.
"Just three sir"he stated
"Hmm three, is one wearing a cloak"ollie asked knowingly.
Ilia raised an eyebrow at this a little confused and so did yenna.
"Uh..yes sir but why–"the soldier begun but ollie smiled.
"Ah their here"ollie said as the he, ilia and yenna went to investigate.
They walked out of the tent and began walking toward the entrance of their base. In front of them was something they weren't expecting. Three people two of which were human. One a rather tall and bulky man stood their with his arms cross wearing a simple green athletic shirt which emphaised the muscle along with arms. He wore brown pants with a black belt around him that carried small pouches. He has dark tan skin with short black hair and purple eyes.
Though the second man was a rather tall and burly man as well. He had a cigar in his mouth as he puffed on it. He wore a pair of grey dress pants with brown dress shoes. Along with a dakr gray dress shirt with a light blue waistcoat with a black tie. He had a pair of fignelress gloves on his hands that were colored black. Along with with a banadana across his neck and a pair of 1930s sunglasses, a grey newsboy cap atop his head. He wore a trench coat around his bdoie that was jet black. His skin was white and he had brown chestnut color hair with brown eyes.
The third in question was a hooded figure who titled their head at the two. The cloak was big on them which obscure their they seemed to be feminine judging by her appearance.
"What do you want humans?"yenna growled at the three but ollie stopped her.
"Calm down dear these two and their knight are here to help"ollie said getting their attention.
"Knight?"ilia thought as she cradled sorrel.
"Your plan to attack Haven Academy and its CCT Tower still happening. But with your men right now you don't be able to do that. We can provide you what you needed and maybe even more"the man said
"Ha! And what can you humans such as you provide?!"the soldier next to them stated.
" forces to overwhelm second man stated
"Hmm…though, what does our new queen want?"ollie replied which made everyone mumumur.
"Queen?"one male soldier said
"What queen we have no queen"A female soldier added
"Is he seriously helping a human"another male soldier added
Yenna laughed a little at this like a hyena at what they just said.
"Ah good one ollie this isn't some fantasy. Did you finally snap because these humans and who ever their queen is can go eat a–"yenna began but the mysterious figure came at her. Their cloaks came off as around yenna neck was someone hand.
Their in front of them was a women slender in appearance. She seemed to have ghost white skin that made her look dead. Her eyes were seprant like eyes colored crimson red underneath a hanya mask that covered the lower part of her jaw. The mask was ghost white with red lines around it. She also had long black hair that reached to the middle of her back.
She wore a chinnese dress that was crimson red underneath a black hanfu robe. Though the robes arms were torn slightly. But she the bottom part of the robe was torn a little as it seemed to have long strangs blowing in the she had a pair of sais on her hip that had black handles on it along with silver blades.
Everyone of the soldiers pointed their rifles at the women in question. The man sighed looking at the woman who looked at him.
"Kiyo release her"the man said calmly as the woman did. She bowed slightly aplogizing it seems as yenna gasped for air. Soon it returned to her lungs as she stared at the women in fear.
"What the hell is that thing?!"yenna questioned with ilia questioning the same thing. What in the name of remnant is this thing it looks like a grimm. Could the news reports be true about grimm hybrids.
"I'm sorry hazel"the women known as kiyo apolgized bowing.
"It's fine"he replied as he choice to have a backup plan. He reached into his back pocket then pulled out a small device throwing it to the ground.
Ollie and the other stood their looking at the device as it glowed before it started to create an image of someone. Once the image was complete the three got on one knee along with ollie which confused them.
"Your presence is require my queen"hazel said staring back up at salem.
"Thank you hazel,I will take it from here"She stated her words oozing from her mouth that would make anyone terrified.
Ilia simply looked on at the womans taring at her. Red and black eyes, pale ghost skiin, black and red dress. She knew this was more likly a hologram but it felt like she was in the room with them.
"Ollie weaver, how are things here"salem asked
"Not good my queen, me and my men have ran into a snag. "Ollie replied bowing
Everyone in the camp was confused why he was worshipping this woman. Ilia was confused a little as soon sorrel woke up a little, he stirred awake slightly as ilia tried shushing him to go back to sleep.
"No no no…go back to sleep please"ilia begged as sorrel cried a little getting some attention.
The women on the hologram raised an eyebrow toward this and looked toward ollie.
"Your snag is that your riaisng children, this isn't what I tasked you. "Salem said with malice in her voice.
"Don't worry my queen were going to use him as a bargaining chip. He'll be used to exchange someone that needs to be executed before we proceed with the plan. Though we do have trouble gaining support from the faunus here"ollie replied softly.
"Hmm a dilemma indeed, thats why I have sent and Kiyo or by Watts designation, subject tau."Salem said motioing toward the two who decided to speak.
"May I speak my queen"kiyo aksed as salem gently nodded
Kiyo got up walking toward ilia who stood their frozen in fear. The grimm hybrid looked at the girl studying her and then at sorrel. The chameleon faunus went wide eyed because she might kill him right now.
"Shhh young one or i'll have to skewer you"kiyo hushed as sorrel little eyes were open but looked to be crying. But he didn't as the baby bengel faunus was scared it seems refusing to cry.
"Their hes quiet….now make sure it stays that way before it interrupts my queen again"kiyo threatened as ilia nodded frighten. Kiyo then walked back over kneeling on both her knees joining the other two.
Then Clay stepped up with his hands behind his back"now for me you may be wondering why we humans are helping you. Right now we could provide you men along with skilled undead warriors. That one being one of them"clay motioned toward kiyo.
"But they still can be killed apprently though it takes a while for that to happen. I'm here to provide several men to your cause. You may think they are all human but most are faunus actually, ex SDC workers as well. "Clay begun as their were murmuring going on.
"What do you mean, why would you even help us?"yenna questioned, narrowing her gaze.
Clay simply laughed"because my girl is one, and some huntsman bastards took her tail off. I understand your hate toward humans and I want to provide some assistance."Clay replied as the white fang seemed to murmur more.
Ollie put a hand up telling them to stop talking and he looked at them all smiling.
"Now you see brothers and sister we have some friends willing to help our cause. Though they may be human they'll gladly help us make their race bow before us. What would like me to do my queen"ollie said looking at salem.
"Now that you have things prepared. Handle your business here and gather what men you have left and meet them in mistral. Hazel will provide transportation, along with clay providing men and some explosives. "Salem said as her image disppeared from her sight as Hazel retrieved the device and put back in his pocket.
"Now i'll wait by the docks. Take care of your business and we can go toward mistral"hazel stated
"Fine. we'll get things done"ollie said as hazel,clay and kiyo left the base. Ollie began planning his next move with yenna. While ilia stood their frozen in fear at what she just saw. She couldn't belvie anything right now and had to get out.
The next morning came and immediately Blake got changed into outfit and began to head out toward the infirmary to check on onxyia. Along with searching for sorrel wherever he soon she was joined by Nadia, Aruna and Neo.
"Heading somewhere"nadia asked as blake turned around busted from sneaking out.
"You know we all saw you, man you suck at being light on your feet"aruna added
"Sorry but im in a bit of hurry so.."blake started but nadia already had a feeling.
"Going to see Onxyia and look for sorrel. We'll come with"nadia stated as the four left the house.
The walk was rather quiet as they surely and slowly made their way over to the ifnrimary. Once blake found katherine and aksed how her daughter was doing. She reassured them she will live but she needed an aura booster. This helped heal the wound but left a small scar on the right side under her chest. They were releasing her soon but katherine was against it a little.
But they reassured her it'll be fine as she went to grab her daughter. They waited for maybe a half hour until katherine escored Onxyia out of her room with a banaged around her chest.
"Alright you better not be reckless again or I will drag you home by your tail"katherine warned as onxyia nodded
"Don't worry i'll be fine"onxyia replied as she turned noticing the four their.
"How are you feeling cousin?"aruna asked
"Hones't…i guess i'm okay. Though my chest still feel sore from last night"onxyia replied rubbing her chest.
"You should've been more careful wolf ears, you need to work on handling that blade. "Nadia informed.
"I know…its just I ran out of aura. But I was trying to see if I could stun ilia last night. Maybe capture her and keep her safe from the white fang"onxyia siad
Nadia and neo both face palmed at once"you can't just rush in exhausted like that if you do you could die. Look i still miss my kid right now, but right now we have two objectives"nadia said in a serious tone.
"That would be what?"Aruna questioned.
"That would be stopping the white fang and gaining support to stop them. The second is finding sorrel making sure he is safe. The third isn't as important but you need to be trained in that blade"nadia said gesturing toward onxyia.
"Look i'm fine without it we need to find sorrel"onxyia replied
"I know but their are plenty of us here to do that. Neo and Aruna go look around for anything suspicious. Maybe find sorrel whereabouts if their leaving a message it'll be soon"nadia said as the two nodded to do just that.
"I'll go try and convince people to help us fight against the White Fang. Not sure it its going to work but I have to try something"blake replied
"Alright kid you do that. Then we meet back at the house in a few hours"nadia added
Blake nodded as she walked off to complete her objective while Nadia and Onxyia headed to her house to train it Neo and Aruna searched for possible clues on her baby brothers whereabouts.
About an hour later Blake was already having a tough time. She was asking around and trying to convince the other faunusa bout trying to fight back against the White Fang but none of them wanted to budge wanting to avoid the fighting completely. Almost an hour trying convince them but she was getting nowhere with anyone
She was now sitting down at a bench trying to clear her head and trying to come up with another way of convincing people to help in the fight agains the white fang though her mind wondered elsewhere more importantly to her teammates and wondered what they were going through right now.
"So this is where you've been."jazmine voice said beside her as Blake looked next to her seeing her young sister.
"Oh hey jazmine. Was getting some things sorted out in my head"blake said
Though jazmine raised an eyebrow seeing right through blake"c'mon Blake I know you better than that"jazmien replied
Blake sighed at this before she spoke"its…no one wants to stand up to the white fang. Like their afraid to fight them. How are we suppose to fight back if we can't stand up for ourselves?"blake said
"I wish I knew Blake. The people here have families,homes, lifes to live and sometimes they don't want to be involved in something that might threaten their lifes. They won't be easily convinced because of what your trying to say to them."jazmine told her.
"I guess your right. What happened to your pride? Were proud to be who we are but we can't defend outsleves. If we allow the White Fang to win then what is the point of even fighting."blake said as she gripped her right arm tightly.
"Their isn't much we can do no matter how hard we try"jazmine said
"Then they've already won"blake added back as she sighe not sure what to do next.
"C'mon lets get back to the house. Maybe we can think of something to do when you have a cool head. Maybe Aruna and Neo found something on Sorrel"jazmine said with her sister nodding in agreement.
Nearby Fennac had a worrying face on him as he needed to report back to Ollie.
Onxyia was sent flying as she rolled to the ground but quickly got in a fighting stance with the katana at the ready. Nadia stood their with her revolver out and a kurki blade out. Zoey was their with them because she wanted to make sure her sword didn't get busted.
"Your getting predictable kid. You keep leaving yourself open too many places. Cover up those spots otherwise you can be exploited."nadia replied
"Thanks for the advice"onxyai said as she flipped the katana backwards in one hand then charged at her. She tried attacking her left side since her metal arm could blocked her attack. However nadia saw then as she flipped over the girl with ease then slashed at her with the kukri blade which took her aura down. Onxyia took the hit and decided to try something she lifted her right hand as a blinding light surrounded them.
Nadia covered her eyes as did Zoey. Onxyia smiled as she ruhsed in letting the light die out with the katana at the ready. She lifted it up ready to swing at her but the women lifted her foot up kicking it out of her hands. Onxyia then quickly grabbed her glaive of her back as nadia came at her. The two kept blocking and exchanging each other blows for a bit. Then the two clashed and nadia smiled.
Before she knew it nadia leg swept the girl to the ground. Onxyia fell to the ground with her back layed flat. Then she had a revolver pointed at her head.
"Bang"nadia said
Onxyia sighed as she was thinking how she could counter that but nadia had her option blocked. So she only spoke with one option in mind.
"Alright I yield"Oxnyia stated sadly. Nadia chuckled as she holstered her revolver then tossed Zoey her kurki sword. It clanked infront of her as she stared at her mom annoyed. Then she picked it up as she began to clean it.
"Your improving a little dear, but maybe use the sword as a last resort. Your improving but remember not to leave those blind spots open"nadia added
"Yeah i'll remeber that"onxyia stated. Nadia offered a hand and Onxyia took it. Once she was up she put her glaive on her back then walked over picking up she wiped the blade down with a small cloth before sheathing it.
"Lets take a break. You don't wanna reopen that chest wound of your. You could lose your asset"nadia added as Onxyia nodded in agreement but groaned. She literally made a joke like her son guess he took that after her. The two found a bench while Zoey stood close by as they relaxed themselfv.
Onxyia stretched her limps and tail a little getting in a better relaxed position as she rested her hands on her lap.
"You know I keep forgetting how nice menagerie is sometimes"onxyis said happily.
"Well the place is cut off the from the world around and its out little paradise. Though except for the desert full of grimm."zoey added
"Yeah, but at least its home we can adapt to anything if we put our minds to it. "Nadia replied
"You can start from nothing and with enough hard work it grows into something more"nadia added looking at her metal arm.
Their was a pause between the three with none of them speaking though nadia was contemplating look on her face like she was fighting herself over something.
"Yoru thinking about the white fang next move and Adder"onxyia pointed out.
"huh?Nadia questioned with a confused look on her face along with Zoey.
"Who the hell is Adder?"zoey questioned as the two got silent. They seemed a little anger at the mention of that name before onxyia sighed.
"He was the one who…killed Zane ''onxyia said as Zoeys eyes buldged out of her head.
"Oh so you found his killer, great whenever I meet this guy he'll–"zoey begun but nadia stopped her.
"Sweeite were not going to seek revenge against him. That isn't the right thing to do"nadia said surrpsing the two.
"Mom are you serious he killed my brother, why wouldn't we get revenge?"zoey aksed confused
Onxyia looked at the women and knew what she meant by that and it clicked with her.
"If we kill him were no better than him, making that type of choice could lead to drastic consequences"onxyia added
Nadia nodded"your not wrong, I would like nothing more than to kill him. But… then people will come after us then. The cycle of revenge continues"nadia replied
Zoey sighed heavily as she clenched her fist before relaxing it"Fine….but i'm breaking all his bones then"zoey said in confidence with the two chuckling a little.
"Get in line"nadia added as she stood up cracking her back. A loud crack could be heard from her.
"But another thing what ilia and yenna said at the rally made everyone nervous to join our cause to fight them. They had two options that would be to fight for peace and die or submit to fear and live another day. "Onxyia replied
"We also need their help to stop the attack on Haven Academy we need all the help we can get."zoey added
"Look we know their going to attack Haven but with how things are it might be a little to late to to fight back. They have us beaten in both numbers and weapons. Along with holding sorrel hostages as a bargaining chip. This may not be a fight we can win"nadia stated
"We have to at least try. Instead of sitting here and do nothing while they will terroize another school. They could do what they did to Beacon which means…"onxyia thought as something popped in her head.
The two looked at her concerned as she was wondering what she was thinking about. Before they could say anything the wolf faunus spoke.
"During the fall several white fang invaded the place along with two grimm knights. Those being a nevermore and one named conri a beowulf. "Onxyia said which brought some attention to the topic.
"Wait what are you getting at here?"zoey asked crossing her arms under her bust.
"Yeah, so what, maybe they had a deal"nadia added as she got what she meant.
Onxyia nodded"they could be working with whoever is controlling these grimm knights along with ollie knowing Adder. That means when they attack Haven academy they might use grimm or those knights"onxyia stated
"Dammit this is going to be difficult then. But…we can't do anything right now. We need to wait and see what their planning and then we can make a move to counter their. The white fang aren't going to reveal their hand just beofre we want them to . We have to wait them out"nadia stated before stretching her arms.
"Beside. Lets train a little more then we can go back to the house"nadia said. Onxyia nidded getting up from the bench as they proceed to train her sword skills
At the belladonna house Aruna and Neo had just gotten back from looking for any message where her little brother could be. But they had no luck finding him at all. Which was worrying because she wonder what they did to him.
Though Sienna was pacing around in the dinning room. She had her chin chupped trying to see what she can do to find her son. As she sat their verde along with Colt and Kali were trying to help keep her calm.
"Dear don't worrie i'm sure they won't do anything to hurt him"Colt reassuring the bengel faunus.
Sienna went wid eyed"how could you know he's barely a month old. He' fragile right now, the smallest injury could kill him"sienna replied
Verde sighed heavily worried as well but he was tyring to keep his composer the best he could. But he coulnd't stand it right now because those villains stole his newborn son.
"I agree with my wife on this, if they even harm him theirs serious risk involved"verde added
"But what would they have to gain by kidnapping a baby"kali questioned as that made them curious.
"Probably saying they'll trade him if we stop meddling in their affairs"colt suggested
"You could be right, but their has too be more to this"sienna added
Soon the group heard the door being open near the front. They looked toward the door wondering who it was. The four saw Aruna and Neo walk in with tired expression from the looks of it.
"Did you two find anything about were they took your brother?"sienna jogged over as she looked at her daughter in the eyes.
"No mom…i'm sorry"aruna quickly apolgized.
Neo sighed annoyed, because she couldn't believe the white fang would sink this low. Who would kidnap a baby from their parents. Slavers or bandits would do this, ollie is probably going to ask for something important for him.
Sienna hugged her daughter tightly in a embrace and aruna returned it.
"Its not your fault Aruna"Sienna replied as she let got the embrace.
"We should have never recruited those two into the white fang. If I knew this is what would happen years late. I'd reject them and turn them away"sienna said as she sat down.
"Dear you never knew something like this would happen."verde reassured as he gently placed his arm around her shoulder.
Sienna sighed as she layed her head agains him with worry in her eyes. She just hoped that nothing happened to her baby. If she they hurt him or worse they will regret it. They continued to sit their for a while until the others got back. Nadia and Zoey headed back home, though onxyia decided to stay for the gave her an extra bed in blake room as they continued to enjoy their night.
Hours past as it was now nighttime as everyone was getting some much needed rest Blake was sleeping soundly in her bed her ears pressed against her head to drown out any noise. However her left ear flicked as if she heard some kind of noises coming from the third bed placed in her room. She opened her amber colored eyes to look around the dakr room and she noticed onxyia tossing and turning in her bed with a strained look on her face.
This immediately alerted Blake as her long time friend was more than likely having a nightmare. Blake got up out of bed going over to onxyia. Aruna was soundly asleep in the room it seems.
"Onxyia,wake up"she whispered gently trying to wake her. Onxyia shot up from bed her eyes wide opened from the look fo fear on her fce as she quickly looked around the room her breathing was erratic.
"Whoa just me"blake siad putting her hand on her friend shoulder to try and calm her down. Onxyia took in a couple deep breaths to calm herself down.
Blake took her hands away as onxyia looked right at her."o-oh hey Blake. Did I wake you?"onxyia asked
"A little bit. Aruna is still asleep. But are you okay? You looked like you were having a nightmare"blake said
"W-what me? Having a nightmare? No i'm fine see"onxyia said smiling trying to play if off like it was nothing but her tail wagged nervously.
However Blake crossed her arm under her bust and lifted an eyebrow as if she wasn't convinced.
Onxyia dropped her smile as she groaned well knowing how that wasn't convincing her.
"Alright. I didn't want to make you feel sorry for me….their already been so much happening to me lately"onxyia replied
"But why not, you could tell me anything"blake asked
"Because I didn't want to add more to your ever growing list of stuff especially with Ollie, White Fang, Sorrel being kidnapped and Ilia. Along with the loss of your arm."onxyia replied
"How long have you been having these nightmares?"blake asked worryingly
"Every since we got to siennas house"onxyia state. Blake went wided eyed at this statement.
"Thats almost three weeks you've been having these nightmares. Why didn't you tell me?"blake asked
"Like I just said you have alot of stuff your dealing with right now."onxyia stated as she hugged herself looking away. Blake sighed as she shook her head at her friend before embracing her with a hug of her own.
"You know you aren't a burden to me. I know you always try to be calm and all happy. But your also easily upset and blame yourself immediately. Why don't you tell me what happens in your nightmares?Blake asked
"A-are you sure?"onxyia answered nerovusly as Blake nodded wanting to hear her problems.
"Well…I don't know its just i've been thinking maybe Zane was right. Maybe if he came with us he….would probably kill us if he got under his controlled again"Onxyia stated as blake was shock at hearing this.
"But once we got to the house I had a nightmare that I was back in Vale. I was in the middle of the street frozen in fear. That's when I saw him cutting grimm down but he had cuts and bruises everywhere. Then I saw him get swarmed then…"onxyia paused almost scared to say what was next.
"What happened next?"blake asked
"He..turned into that monsteorus form of his. He killed some beowolves then he slowly looked over at me. Then h-he started to come after me"onxyia said as she physically shook remembering the next part of the nightmare as tears were in her eyes.
Blake held her tightly trying to calm her.
"I couldn't control my a-action, he came at me. Before I knew it I took my sniper out and aimed at him. As he came at me growling like some..grimm. Then once he got close..I pulled the trigger and a loud flash went off. After that I looked up seeing him dead on the ground…I tried to say something but I couldn't. Then I woke up"onxyia cried tears now streaming down her face now crying into blake shoulder.
"I didn't care if he was some genetic freak! Why would he go kill himself?! Why did he have to leave!"onxyia cried and held her close gently rubbing the back of her soon woke up looking over worried at her cousin plee.
She slowly got out of her bed making her way over to the two. Blake looked back as aruna somberly looked at them. Onxyia was shaking crying still scared.
"Look cousin I know you miss him. But that probably wouldn't happen. Just your emotion playing trick on you. "Aruna began.
"Shes right i'm sure you meant the world to Zane and him the same to you. He may have been under his control but he'd never hurt you or even kill you. The guy was a jokesteer at times like everything was a joke to him. At first I thought he wouldn't be a good leader"blake said.
"But he cared for all of you like you were his own family. He stayed to protect everyone from him…it may sound bad but its the truth. If he did hurt you or even killed you he'd never forgive himself. "Blake said as she gently rocked Onxyia back and forth. Blake gently pulled Onxyia away from her shoulder to get a better look at her.
Onxyia eyes were a little puffy now from all the crying as the tears stopped temporarily but they threatened to shed walked over taking her thumb and wiped away her tears.
"Now do you think the guy would do that? Or that you'd have to kill him?"Aruna asked
"N-no"onxyia said
'Of course you wouldn't, he would never kill you, or do anything else to you. He was more likely thinking of you the entire time when he was evacuting and helping the remaining teams there. Making sure to save as many people to make up for that one mistake. Don't think otherwise"blake said
Onxyia sniffed before she gave both Blake and Aruna a hug which they returned.
"How about we get some sleep okay?"blake said as onxyia nodded.
Though the two seemed to figure out the tall wolf wasn't going to let them go so Blake thought it was best if they kept her company tonight. After about ten minutes Onxyia was sleeping rather peacefully with Blake on her right and Aruna on her left. They kept her company as the three had good dreams that night.
Meanwhile back at the White Fang base Fennac reported back to Ollie and Yenna with some news from the town after he finished with his duties Corsac was next to him. Ilia was busy keeping sorrel busy it seems.
"So your telling Blake is trying to rally people of menagerie to fight against us"ollie replied
"Yes dear brother. Though i am uncertain if she has become succesful in that part."fennac reported
"Even a small ember can spark a fire of rebellion in the people. This time we leave nothing to chance. Its time I ended things with Blake once and ilia will help with it. Bring her too me"ollie ordered as they didn't have to come far. They came back with the chameleon faunus holding the baby still
"U-um you wanted to see me?"ilia asked
"Yes, I have a job for you along with the little one in your arms. Tomorrow night your to lure Blake away from the others. Leave a message for her tomorrow to meet somewhere without letting anyone else know. If she does we kill the baby"ollie begun as ilia went wide eyed at that he meant it.
"Ok…sir"ilia sheepishly replied as she cradled sorrel.
"Along with that you two take some of our men and attack the belladonna household. But I will have someone else assist you. "Ollie begun as another faunus joined them in the room.
Their in front of them was a muscular man who seemed to have litish tan skin. He wore the standard white fang uniform that all of them wore. But he wore a beowulf style mask on his hair was charcoal black. On his heads was a large pair of ox horns. Though his weapon was a kanabo.
"Duke will be assisting them tomorrow in the raid"ollie said as duke didn't speak but grunted in response.
"Its time we send a permanent message to those who dare to cross us. Bring me whatever remains of them. We strike tomorrow night"ollie ordered
"Now you leave us ilia go to your tent"ollie ordered as the girl left and he narrowed his gaze.
"Alright you four heres the plan that I don't want her to hear"ollie said
"Whys that?"corsac asked
"If she defects and manages to live she'll spill valuable secrets. Yenna your to hold blake hostage until you execute her tomorrow. Along with that have ilia their, I want her to do the deed. "Ollie ordered
"Of course sir, what would you like me to do?"yenna asked
Ollie tapped his chin before smirking"bury her alive for me alright"ollie replied
"And the half blood?"yenna asked
"Once we capture her leave it somewhere they could find it"ollie said as yenna bowed
"While you do that i'm rounding up our troops and we'll make our way toward mistral and meet up with our splinter group. But i'll be leaving a few men here just incase. "Ollie added
"Why would you leave more of our men here high leader?"fennac ased
"Incase they do succeed…which is slim in my opinion. But if they do they'll probably send for huntsman and huntresses. I'll ask that burrow fellow along with a man named hassan to provide me some of their men. If their still alive before a week of our attack, their to kill them"ollie added
"Are you sure we can trust these people brother"yenna asked
"Yes, don't worry i'll even ask for a knight to accomapny them. But once your done head to the docks for departure. I'll be heading their soon right now. Leave me"ollie said sternly
"Of course dear brother"fennac said as the four of them left.
"This time little wolf and cat you won't escape me. Your little rebellion ends before it even begins"ollie with a smirk on his face as it was time to execute his greatest plan yet.
It seems ollie has new plans for blake and onxyia to finally shuff them out, along with that allieing himself with salem and her forces. Along with the return of clay burrows but the apperancef of the king tajtu grimm knight kiyo. Though onxyia finally told them that she been suffering from nightmares, though blake offered a shoulder and support for her striff. Thanks for reading!
