Chapter 20 Black and White:Revolution part 1
The sun rose on menagerie as the citizens were now out in about doing their daily routine as for the inside of the Belladonna Blake. She was still asleep especially after last nights events that had happened. Blake the first to stir awake as her amber eyes opening slowly as her first instrict was to get up. As she did she looked to her side.
Their in front of her was Onxyia wrapping around arm around aruna waist. She looked down noticing that Onxyia was sleeping silent as her arms wrapped into aruna. The bengel faunus was pretty much engulfed by the girl as onxyia smiled a little. Blake chuckled on she nudged the two as this caused them to stir awake.
"C'mon you two. Time to get up"blake said as Onxyia opened her black and yellow eye while aruna opened her amber eyes.
"Morning"onxyia said tiredly as aruna woke up yawning a little. Though the two slowly relized that onxyia had her entire bodie wrapped around Aruna as the two separated sitting up on the bed blushing.
"Um…did we just cuddle all night with each other?"onxyia asked completely embarrassed.
"What the heck what is with you cuddling with people?"Aruna asked as she covered her face. Onxyia just nerovusly smiled as her tail wagged around like crazy.
"Its fine. We were all tired from yesterday. Hows your wound?"blake aksed gesturing toward onxyia side of her chest. Onxyia pulled it down revealing where ollie shot her again. While it had healed it had left a small scar that seems to be the size of a marble.
"Great. I'm just glad this is all I got. Seriously that guy keep shooting and stabbing me"onxyia replied annoyed
"Well some people find scars sexy"aruna joked as Onxyia and blake laughed a little at this.
"You may be right, c'mon lets get dresses and head down. Moms probably fixing breakfast again"blake said
"Yeah, maybe we got a message from those guys about where my brother is"aruna added with hope it seems.
"Umm you two go ahead. I'm going to take a shower and then join you after"onxyia replied as she gathered her clothes and headed across the hall toward the bathroom. It was a medium sized bathroom with a walk in show as she put her clothes down by the sink. Stripping out of her night clothes she kindly put them in the hamper that was in the bathroom and started to shower up.
She touched the water but it was a too hot so she turned it quickly to a warm setting that suited her. She checked it and it seemed suitable as she stepped in the rushing of water running down her naked form. She made sure to get all the grime and dirt off her during training. Their were two mirrors facing across each other as Onxyia was able to see all the scars shes gotten. One was the scar from the vacou mission, that leg scar from the mine,another where ollie stabbed her that was small probably five inches in length. The new one being the one on her chest from ollie again.
Her mind began to wonder of the events that led her here back to her home of menagerie. Their was escaping Vale and heading to her uncle verde clinic. Recvoering and grieivng from Zanes loss still and blaming herself for blake loss of limb. But along with dealing with knuckledusters that threatened the town of dryshore. Then crossing the ocean to deliver terrible news to nadia and fighting off sea grimm and a giant grimm dragon. Along with learning of her brother and best friends death. Then having to tell Nadia the news of his death which hurt her. But she kept her composer at times and she had two choices right now.
That was to either keep feeling sorry for herself and blaming herself for all the things in the past. But another was to just to accept she didn't know what would happen when she made certain certain choice. Then she remembered that right now she had friends to help her with her sorrows right now. She misses Zane deeply but she promises to find Eria and Rogue and make sure their safe. Along with making sure velvet is safe as well helping her with her grief.
She decided not to waste anymore time as she got to cleaning herself as she didn't want to miss breakfast. Ten minutes later she was good and cleaned as she changed into her clothes before leaving the bathroom. Before she left remember what aruna said early how scars are sexy. It reminded her of that day in the cafeteria with the food fight, that was a good day. She left the room and headed downstairs.
Blake was waiting for Onxyia to come down for her breakfast after her shower but it was taking rather long as she was almost tempted to go and check on her.
"Blake you're tapping your finger on the table"her mother kali stated. Blake looked down at her right hand as she didn't even know she was doing it. Blake got control of her fingers as she stopped.
"Sorry mom. It justs…"blake said a bit of worry in her voice as she paused her father noticing.
"Is something wrong Blake? You're not ill are you?"he asked but she shook her head.
"No i'm fine. It…about Onxyua"blake said which got some of their attention especially declan. He came early to help protect ghiras family incase anything happened to them.
"Is something wrong with my daughter?"declan asked rather worried.
"Me and Aruna talked last night with her and well. Before we got here she seemed to be have trouble sleeping a couple times. "Blake began.
Neo lifted an eyebrow at this then signed to Blake"your talking about her having nightmare"neo signed which surrpsied Blake.
"Wait you knew all this time and you didn't say anything?"blake asked annoyed looking at her.
Neo put her hands up telling her to relax a little but blake glared at her a little.
"Look I meant to ask her more about it, but she kept avoiding the subject. I didn't want her to hate me, she said while he stayed at sienna they stopped after a week"neo signed.
Blake sighed as she rubbed her eyes"ok fine but these nightmares apparently have been keeping her up at night"blake replied
"And she just told you this last night. Why not earlier?"kali questioned.
"She told me I had other stuff on my mind. And recently i have had other things on my mind. Making sure your all okay, the Fang, ollie, ilia, Fennac and Corsac, and now Sorrel. I've barely asked her how shes been doing since everything went down at Beacon. I wasn't even conscious to be their for her. "Blake said as she rubbed her prosthetic.
"You might have known what she was going through and maybe she decided not to tell because she wanted to sort it out her and not be a burden"klai said
"Yes, my little girl does have trouble asking for help sometimes. But she trys to make the most of anything in any situation"Declan added with a smile.
"I know but I should have look at the signs she needed help. Everytime I saw them I wanted to reach out but I thought she needed more time to herself. It makes me feel terrible"blake said
"I mean she witnessed a little girl death in front of her and blamed herself for it. Then their was the fall and me losing my arm. She blamed herself for that as well, then there was...Zane. "blake added sighing
"They loved each other and when she finally calls him. He says he was sorry for what he did and how he loved her. After that when we get here she hears how her brother and our friend akasha are dead. I'm worried about her"Blake added as she ate her brekafast.
"And that is good that you worry about her but that doesn't make you feel bad dear for not noticing. I've noticed as well but I didn't want to confront her about her problems yet. I waited for her to come to me or her mother about these issues. You just need to give a person some space so that they can make their decision if they want to come to you."kali said wisely.
"She is right you just need to give someone time before you confront them about their problems. When their ready, it means their healing right now. Just be their for my little girl alright""declan added wisly.
Blake took Declan and her mothers words to heart as they heard footsteps behind her. She looked over her shoulder and noticed onxyia was fully dresses in her gear along with a fresh and dry from her shower. Though her tail did puff up a little.
"Enjoyed the shower"blake said
"Yeah I did"onxyia said as she got a look around the room and noticed some people were missing.
"Hey where is everyone?"onxyia pointed out because Yahto, Colt, Sienna family was no where to be seen right now.
Ghira stroked his chin"they all decided to do their own thing. Yahto,sienna and nadia went to help zoey with security and finding sorrel. Sienna and Nadia were huntresses after all. "Ghira stated
"If I recall all of sienna family is at our house right now with katherine. Along with Colt, their staying their with some guards incase they come after them. "Declan added
Blake then remembered something that she had something she needed to do with sun and yahto.
"That reminds me. That merchant we talked to the other day gave us a list of names that are currently in the White Fang here in Menagerie. If we can capture them then it will severely dwindle their forces and maybe find sorrel"blake said
"Hmm maybe yahto already gave the the information to Zoey and Saber. They could track them down. If their is is a chance to dwindle their forces and find sorrel this is something we can't pass up."onxyia said
Neo nodded agreeing with her"yeah, maybe we could also help your friend get away from the white fang."Neo signed to the two.
"Yes, but first you need to eat. No work on an empty stoamhc"kali replied
Onxyia sat down as the whole group ate their meals but not before blake received a message from sun.
S:hey you ready to go white fang hunting and save a baby?
Blake gave a smirk"its sun. Mind if I talk to him?"blake politely asked
Ghira nodded as Blake got up from the table and called him.
"Hey sun. Yeah I got your message but Onxyia thinks we should talk with Zoey and her security to help us track the people down on the list. Yahto already their right now"blake said
"You sure thats a good idea. I mean no offense to Zoey and her security team but they tend to make a lot of noise going around town. We need to be stealth like"sun added
"I'll se about rbinging this up with her but sienna and Nadia are joining us as well."blake replied
"Thats good but sienna hasn't been here in a long time the islands changed she might not know it that well"sun replied
"Your right but…but I know two people who know the island inside and out. Along with a little girl who has some heightened scent"blake replied
It took Sun a minute to figure out what she meant by that and it clicked with her. She was talking about Piper the girls sense have been heighten from being apart of those grimm experiments. She probably wanna help because Jazmine mentioned how the girl wants to be a huntresses when she got older.
"Hey your right but wouldn't it be dangerous for her to come?"sun replied a little concern.
"Don't worry we'll have two of us go with her to keep an eye on her.I'll talk to mari and let you know"blake reassured.
" me back okay"sun added as she hung up before returning to the table.
"So how sun?"jazmine asked
"Hes fine though i'm wondering if you could stop by mari place"blake asked as Jazmine listened intentylu.
"Were going to need some extra set of feet on the ground helping us catch a few of these people on the list. You, me, Onxyia, Sun, Zoey and Nadia know the island like the back of our hands. But Sienna hasn;t been here in a while along with Neo and Yahto not knowing the island"Blake said
"But why would we need stop by maris place?"neo signed confused
"Piper has heightened sense from those grimm experiments. She could probably sniff out a trace of sorrel maybe"blake replied
"That could work, along with that I could try tracking them down. They might be moving around in the woods somewhere"onxyia added
"But if were doing this someone gotta fly solo so they don't get to suspicious"jazmien pointed out.
"We can figure that out later once we get their"Blake said
They all looked at each other before giving each other a nod.
"Then all we can do is support you in this endevour"ghira replied
"Alright you all be safe, I don't want anything to happen to you"kali warned as blake nodded.
"Don't worry we'll be safe and bring back sorrel and stop the white fang"blake reassured as they all went off to do their own thing. Onxyia,Neo,Jazmine were ready and waiting for blake at the front door. Blake went upstairs to grab her weapon and she was looking for it.
"Where are you…I know I left it on the table"blake said as she looked underneath the bed. As she did her ears twithced a little.
She heard someone enter through the balcony and she got out from under the bed ready for a fight. But then her eyes went wide seeing ilia their looking at her.
"Ilia why are–"blake asked but the girl shushed her to be quiet.
This worried blake a little because whyis she here, is she here to kill here. But could she also be here to maybe give them some information on what the white fang is doing.
"I have a message for you from Ollie"ilia said quietly as blake eyes went wide.
"What would that be exactly?"blake asked narrowing her gaze.
Ilia turned away for a bit before digging through a pouch. Then she walked over as she began to explain .
"He said meet him near at this house tonight. If you want to see sorrel again come alone"ilia said as she handed her a picture.
Blakes eyes went wide as she looked at the two pictures in her hand. One was of akasha in a chair tied up beaten to a pulp with a bullet hole in her head. Along with the other having Xander in it hanging from a street lamp.
Blake covered her eyes as she shook her head right now. It was true they were actually dead, they found them during their rescue attempts in Vale. She let a few tears escape as she looked at ilia who was sadden by this.
"He..showed me that after he came back…their gone…i'm sorry."ilia said wrapping her arms around herself.
"Why would you show me these"blake questioned quietly
Ilia took a deep breath"If you came with someone else he…said…he'll kill him even if one person comes. Don't tell anyone"ilia warned with concern.
Before blake could say anything ilia turned away as she walked toward the balcony. She got on the edge ready to jump looking back at blake.
"Don't tell onxyia please…..let her have some hope"ilia begged as Blake looked at the pictures. She sighed giving a small nod to the girl and ilia then jumped off toward the forest below. Blake looked at the pictures in hand as she opened a small comaprment on her arm.
She opened it and it had some enough space to store them. Blake then folded the pictures and placed them in the hatch. Then she closed it as she saw gmabrol shroud on her dressor. She walked over and grabbed it placing it on her back.
The cat faunus took a deep breath because she wanted to tell her. But right now that girl needed some time before she learns of their fates. She tell her later after their done.
Blake then walked down joining the others as they exited the household to meet at the security station. But outside sun seemed to be waiting for them.
"You were waiting for us weren't you?"Blake calmly said as she gripped her metal arm.
"I'm not denying or confirming with a response. Now c'mon we got some bad guys to hunt down and a baby to save"sun said enthusiastically as the five of them now walked toward the town.
The five made a quick stop at maris explaining the situation. She was hesitant at first but they reassured her they'll protect piper with their lives. It seemed to calm her down and she allowed it. Piper seemed a little excited by this as she followed them to the security station in town.
Their they saw Sienna and Zoey chatting with each other. Nadia was checking her weapons while yahto did the same. But then Sienna noticed the six coming toward them.
"Hmm I was expecting you five not this little one here"sienna said getting the others attention as they looked at piper.
"Why did you bring piper if were dealing with white fang she could get hurt"nadia added narrowing her gaze at them.
"Its alright we ask mari if it was okay and she could help us find sorrel. She has heightened sense and could maybe track him down. They might be hiding her in their base wherever that is"onyxia replied
This made the four go a little wide eyed and especially sienna. Then she gave a small smile toward the group.
"Alright but we should have maybe two…no three of us protect her. I rather not risk a kid getting hurt when dealing with these thugs."sienna said as they agreed that would be the best option.
"Ok i'm guessing you already told them about the list of names from that merchant in town Yahto"Sun asked as he nodded
"Yeah I explained it too them, though the task may be pretty big. But if we can dwindle their forces that be great."yahto replied
"Hmmm alright but whats the plan cat ears?"Zoey asked as everyone looked at her.
Then blake decided to inform them of her idea that she came up with and about the list of names the merchant they gave yahto, her and sun the other day. They said how they could have two groups one dealing with the white fang and the other dealing with finding sorrel.
"Hmm thats going to be tough with all of us here. Yahto I think its best you go back to the blair residents and protect the others"sienna ordered
"Ma'am with all due respect I was told by her sister to protec ther"yahto said gesturing toward Neo.
Neo blankly stared at him sighing then walked over to him, he looked at her wondering what the mute was going to tell him.
"Yahto I'll be fine their are plenty of us here to watch our backs. They might try to kidnap the rest of sienna family. Go protect them"neo signed to him.
Yahto crossed his arms at her and the mute looked annoyed. Neo took a deep breath before she smield at him. Yahto raised an eyebrow as she texted something on her scroll then showed it to him. Then his face lost all color to it as he sighed in defeat.
"Fine i'll…go protect…but you better stay safe"yahto warned as Neo grinned at him nodding her head.
They were all a little confused what she showed him that would make him listen to her. Maybe she had some dirt on him that he didn't want anyone else to know. But they didn't question it since it did make him listen to them.
"Ok well who will go with pipers group?"sun asked as piper was humming sitting on a neabry bench.
Jazmine cupped her chin before snapping her fingers"you, me and Neo will go with her. Shes pretty comfortable with us and she seems to like Neo"jazmined suggested.
Sun scratched his chin"alright but what can we use to track him?"sun questioned.
"I got this"sienna said as she pulled something from a medium size pouch. She pulled out a small blanket that seemed to fit around a baby.
"Whats that is it sorrels?"onxyia asked as sienna nodded.
"When I came to his room when he went missing this was on the ground. It might still have his scent on it"Sienna said as she gave it to sun. He pocketed it as he narrowed his gaze putting a hand on her shoulder.
"Don't worry we'll find him"Sun reassured the bengel faunus who smiled.
"Ok then me and sienna will head out to bag some of the white fang members. "Nadia said as sienna nodded to her old partner.
"Welp that leaves us three someone is flying solo it seems"Zoey pointed out.
"I'll go by myself"blake volunteered to go all by her lonesome.
Onxyia looked at her a little worried"Are you sure thats smart…you could get hurt if your not–"onxyia begun but blake stopped her.
"Don't worry i'll be fine, plus I like being by myself sometimes. "Blake reassured the wolf faunus who seemed a little less worried.
But oxnyia sighed heavily looking at blake"just make sure to come back safe okay"onxyia said as blake nodded. The group decided to split off into their groups to search for sorrel and these white fang members that could be hiding in town. Blake sighed as she looked at the address given to her where to meet ollie for sorrel.
However Fennac and Corsac were secretly watching them more importantly blake is she kept her word. It seems she did and they needed to eliminate her as fast as possible.
Blake looked around carefully making sure none of the others were with her. She kept walking through the town for a while. As she followed the address it told her a description of the place. Find the house on a hill that wasn't very steep for the signal story house on it.
After a bit more of walking she eventually found the place and it looked pretty brand new from the looks of it. She carefully made her way up the hill and as she did she noticed a stake post in the ground. It had three slash marks on it that were painted red.
"This must be the place, what do they want in return for him"blake said to herself as the walked toward the house. As she did she wondered where they were. Their were no guards outside to let her inside. Along with it looking abandoned from the looks of it.
Soon when she got to the front door it was left slightly open. She cautiously opened the door slowly as she peeked inside. The lights were off but her eyes made it so she could see. Their in the middle of the room in a chair was a basket.
Blake slowly opened the door as it creaked a little and she had her weapon sheathed. She took cautious steps foward wondering if it was sorrel. Their were no sounds coming from it which meant i might be a trick.
As she got close enough to see what was inside the basket. Her eyes went wide as she saw a sleeping sorrel in their. The baby faunus seemed to be alright their were no cuts or bruises on his was about to reach for him but she heard the clicking of a pistol behind her.
Blake then slowly put her hands up glancing over her shoulder to see Yenna their. She was smiling underneath her mask looking at the cat faunus. Then she began to make her way over to the girl.
"Seems your all alone…good now wanna hear what were going to ask in exchange for him"yenna said as she walked past her.
"For us to stop meddling in your in plan i'm guessing"blake replied
Yenna laughed a little"your sort of right"yenna said as she glanced down at sorrel then looked back at blake smiling.
This confused her what exactly where they going to trade for sorrel. She assumed they wanted to make them stop trying to meddle in their affairs. As Blake thought about soon she heard the crack of a whip. Then from behind something wrapped around her waist.
Before she could react the whip ingintied in a yellow hue. Blake felt a piercing sensation through her body. It felt like she just got tazed by something. Blake let out a small cry of pain as she fell down to the ground. She had some smoke coming off her as she looked over who did it.
It was ilia who had a sorrowful look on her face. She closed her eyes looking away from blake but blake seemed to understand now. They wanted her it seems for something. Soon enough the girl lost conscious as the two white fang members looked at each other.
"Good job kid, ollie will be happy to hear we captured her"yenna said as she walked over to blake.
"Y-yes but what about sorrel?"ilia questioned as yenna was removing blake prosthetic arm.
As she did the small hatch on her arm was opened a little and yenna glanced at it. She then pulled it open which wasn;t hard and she saw a couple of folded objects in their. The hyena faunus unfolded them smiling a little.
Ilia went wide eyed wondering what she was planning on doing with those pictures. She thought blake was going to hide them in her room maybe.
"Hmm don't worry we'll leave him outside for those fools to find them. Along with these"yenna said as she walked over to sorrel basket. Then she placed the photos on the bengel baby faunus.
"But…but they would be devastated"ilia said concerned as yenna glared at she walked over slapping the girl across the face. It was loud as ilia fell to the ground holding her cheek.
"Don't question orders again kid or i'll deal with you myself. Now grab the baby and take him outside. "Yenna ordered as ilia just did that. She took sorrel outside down the small hill it seems. While Duke walked in after she left looking down at the ground.
He grunted to her and yenna nodded, then he picked blake up tossing her over his shoulder. The brute then walked out of the small hut as yenna stayed behind. She looked at a table close by with some explosives it seems. The girl walked over to one and picked it up.
"Lets see how about three minutes plenty of time"yenna said as she set a timer on the bombs. Then she tossed it onto the table as she jogged out the building. She then joined the other two who were far enough from the hill.
"Alright leave the dam brat here he'll be fine"yenna said as ilia was a little confused. But she placed sorrel gently on the ground as he layed their asleep. Then yenna pulled something off of blake that being her weapon and her scroll.
Yenna placed them in the basket along side the pictures as she smiled. Then she motioned for the two to follow her and they did just that as they ran off with blake.
Meanwhile Piper, Sun,Neo and Jazmine were looking for sorrel. They had no luck so far as piper led them in circles for a bit. They ran into onxyia and zoey early asking how they were doing.
They said they bagged three members of the white fang no problem and with zoey and saber security team they were arrested on the spot so they couldn't cause problems.
"Hmm where could he be?"jazmine said as they looked around the market district, near some of the residential building, and near the forest. But they were coming up with nothing.
Sun groaned, annoyed covering his eyes as he threw his head back"Seriously how can we not find him. "Sun groaned
Piper frowned a little as she was on all four it seems as she tried to find was sniffing the ground to see if she could pick up his scent.
"I'm sorry….please don't hit me like the white coats"piper quickly said as she covered her neck shaking.
The three went wide eyed a little as neo and jazmine glared at sun. The monkey faunus smacked his forehead relizing he probably brought some bad memories up for pulled on his tail because the little girl was scared of that stuff
Sun eyes budlged out of his head when she did that.
"Dang it Neo ughh don't pull a guys tail ok"sun said as he grabbed his tail rubbing it.
Jazmine walked over picking up piper holding her gently. The girl was shaking still seeming to have a small panic attack.
"Sun apolgize to her"jazmine ordered and he wasn't going to argue.
He walked over kneeling a little to face piper so she could see him.
"Don't worry sweetie were not like those guys at all. I'm just frustrated is all that we can't find him."Sun reassured her.
Piper shook a little still"is it my fault?"she nerovusly asked
Sun shook his head"no those guys are probably masking his scent or their farther in the island. Your doing amazing right now"sun said which seemed to reassured the grimm faunus girl.
Neo sighed heavily at this because it was a little tough watching something like this. She couldn't believe someone would do this to a child still. This begged the question she said she went through something different.
What did she mean by that exactly, could their have been a different process for her unlike her cousin. But right now they needed to find sorrel and hope the others are having better luck.
"I miss Eden"piper quietly said as jazmine held her as they walked around town.
Neo raised an eyebrow on who this eden was, she took her scroll out as she texted the girl showing her it.
"Whos Eden?"neo text read
"She was my big sister"piper replied sadly as the three probably guessed what happened to her. How she said it sounds like the little girl might have lost her sister. Blake and Onxyia did explain to them how her sister along witha friend were in a lab together.
"Well i'm sure wherever your sister is right now…she's happy your safe right now"jazmine reassured the grimm faunus who smiled as she nuzzled into jazmine shoulder. Jazmine gave a small smile because despite her appearance she was just a little girl.
However when they got close to the center of town they heard an explosion from the distance as they saw a cloud of smoke envelope the sky
"What the heck?!"sun shouted looking at the cloud of smoke.
Neo then motioned for the two to follow them as they did just that. They four then ran toward the smoke.
When they got their some faunus where trying to put out the flames but it would take some time to do so.
Soon Sienna,Onxyia,Nadia and Zoey joined the group not three minutes later.
"What happened?"Nadia asked looking around
"Were not sure. We were busy looking for sorrel but we had no luck. Then we heard the explosion"jazmine replied still holding piper who was sniffing the air.
"Okay but why did a random house just blow up? Was it the white fang?"zoey asked
Onxyia was looking around and noticed they were missing someone.
"Where's blake?"onxyia asked as the group looked around her. But they saw the cat faunus no where in sight.
"Okay I doubt she missed it though I didn't see her at all while we bagged those white fang members"sienna added
Piper was moving around a little as she got her arm free. As she did this sun pulled out his scroll to call blake. As this happened jazmine was confused what piper was doing.
"Piper sweetie what are you–"jazmien asked before piper stopped her.
"I smell what was on the blanket over their"piper said getting the groups attention as she pointed over to a set of bushes. As this happened sun pressed the call button on his scroll. Then a ringtone went off over their with a small cry being heard it. It sounded like a baby as a few of the faunus helping cleared the fire where confused.
"Anyone else hearing a baby?"a female faunus questioned as a couple others joined her.
"Don't know could they be hurt?"a male faunus said
Sienna went wide eyed as she sprinted over to the sound along with the others. As they got over their sienna followed the sound of the ringtone and crying and pulled some bushes back to see sorrel their crying his little lungs out.
Sienna scooped him up holding him close as tears of joy streamed down her face.
"Oh thank remnant your okay"sienna said as she stood up holding sorrel close tightly not letting him go.
Nadia smiled a little as she placed a hand on her teammate. She was happy she didn't lose her son to any of those white fang bastards.
They still heard the ringtone from blake scroll as they looked down in the bush. Their was a basket their that had sorrel in it. Along with a few others things, sun soon disconnected the call. Because they noticed Blake weapon and scroll.
"This can't be good. I know blake wouldn't leave her things laying around"onxyia said as she picked up the basket with Gambol shroud in it along with the scroll. As she did something else fell out of the basket and noticed this.
"You think someone might've have jumped her and taken her"Sun replied
"That is possible but why would they need another bargaining chip they had sorrel"jazmine pointed out.
"Hmm maybe they want to hold her hostage so we don't get in their way anymore. But why did they leave sorrel?"zoey pointed out as something hit onxyia.
"What if they told her to come here by herself"onxyia suggested as they all went wided eyed at that.
"That would mean they left a message for her back at the house. "Sun added
Nadia nodded her head"yeah i'm guessing they told her to come by herself or they kill sorrel. Seems she managed to get the little guy safe and sound. But at the cost of her being kidnapped'nadia said.
"Hmm we might have to look around for her. I'll inform Saber and the others too look around too that way we can cover more ground"zoey stated.
As they talked, Neo walked over to the folded piece of paper it seems. She picked both up wondering what they were and they looked to be pictures. Neo was curious as she unfolded them and what she did made her eyes bulge out of her head.
She covered her mouth as zoey noticed this looking at her baby cousin.
"Hey neo everything alright…whats that?"zoey asked getting everyone attention it seems.
Sun looked over at the girl letting a couple tears escape which meant it was walked over slowly as neo looked at her worried with what she found.
"What did you find, whats on the pictures?"sienna aksed still trying to shsuh sorrel who was still crying.
Neo shook her head not wanting to show them which made them all worry more. Because what every was on them she didn't want to show them to the group.
Onxyia sighed"neo just show us the pictures how bad could they be"onxyia said
Soon Sun got over to neo gesturing to give her the pictures The mute then closed her eyes tight as she placed them flat down in sun palm. He then pulled them up looking at them as his eyes went wide.
"Oh no"sun stated getting everyone attention.
"What is it kid, show us"nadia said as the monkey faunus had the same expression as neo.
Then he showed the group as they all went wide eyed with shocked. But onxyia looked at the pictures as she covered her mouth shaking her heads. Their she saw her friend akasha bounded up with a bullet hole in her head dead. Along with her little brother hanging from a lamppost that seems to be in Vale.
Soon her legs started to shake as she dropped to the ground burying her hands in her face. Her ears flopped over as she started to cry again.
"no…no…I thought he was lying…they killed them"onxyia cried because Ollie wasn't lying for once it seems.
Nadia clenched her fist as she looked at the wolf faunus. She knelt done and onxyia looked up at her. Nadia then embraced the girl tightly in a mothers embrace. Then she buried her face into nadia shoulder crying.
The group looked at each other because everything just gor serious. They rescued sorrel but blake got kidnapped in the process. Right now they needed to have a group split up while the others took onxyia back home. To tell the bad news to her parents, that her little brother was gone.
Meanwhile far out of town in the White Fang home base Blakes vision was coming back as she got a good look around and seeing that she was in a tent. She felt her on wrist cuffed to a metal pole that went through a hole in the tent. Along with that her prosthetic arm was gone. But her one wirst was held up high as she felt the ground beneath her knees. She slightly scoffed as she figured otu she had been captured and worse she didn't have her weapon or scroll. They tricked her and probably kept sorrel.
"Shes in her ma'am" a male guard stated from outside the tent. Blake mentally preapred herslef and waited for whoever was coming through the tent flaps. However to her surprise it was yenna and had a cheeky grin on her ilia had a large red mark on her cheek.
"Well that was too easy to lure you into our trap. But what we offered was easy to get you to come to us"yenna stated
"Heh wheres ollie your glorious leader"blake huffed at this. Then yenna struck her as her hand slapped acrossed her face feeling the sting from the impact.
Blake simply glared back at the hyena faunus with a golden glare not even intimated by her.
"Don't worry about him right now traditor. You and those other traditors should have never left and instead stayed on the winning side. I've heard about you back then how you used to be heartless and you never hesitated to kill. But you and those other traidtors grew a heart and left. How pathetic?"yenna said mocking blake.
"I threw that part of me away. What we were doing was wrong and the other figured out will bring more hate"blake said calmly.
Then yenna backhand slap the other blake skull as her head whipped
"But it made them respect us because they feared us!"yenna shotued
"Ollie promised us were going to bring about a new revolution for the faunus. An era where we'd be respected by those dam humans. Where they would stop to think twice about attacking another faunus again"yenna growled
"Your wrong! Your acting no better than the human! Some of them are good!"blake howled before receiving a direct punch to her cheek. It launched her head a little as she looked up at yenna.
"Really tell that to the bastards who killed my family. Then sold me and my little sister to the SDC mines. She died in a cave in and i lost her. All humans deserve to suffer"yenna spitted back in anger.
Ilia frowned a little at this and blake noticed this. But she had to say something that might help the girl get her on her sdie.
""Your wrong, i've met plenty of humans at Vale and all around remnant who don't despise the hate faunus get. "Blake retorted back.
Yenna then snorted before spiting in blake face. Blake was disgusted but couldn't get the sticky spit off her cheek.
"No they aren't why haven't they stopped the SDC labor pratices, or someone from making grimm hybrids, or all the abuse toward faunus. Face it humans deserve to suffer"yenna said
"Hmph in my opinion your just making them hate us more by the day. Your working for someone who killed a little girl who said the same words i'm telling you"blake said
Yenna then clenched her fist before socking blake across the face again. Blake aura took it but soon it shattered as she slumped over exhausted.
"Their that'll make the traditor shut up"yenna said rubbing her fist.
"Umm what are we going to do with her?"ilia aksed nerovusly.
"Oh we got a solution that will make sure she can never intervene in our business again. And your going to help me do it tomorrow night"yenna said darkyl.
Ilia didn't like the sound of what yenna was saying and she only wondered if the others would come for her soon. She just hoped blake and onxyia friends arrive soon. Because once they do shes going to help them take them down.
It seems sorrel has been saved from his kidnappers but at the cost of blake now being in their clutches. What does yenna plan to do with her? along with onxyia seeing the pictures of her baby brother and akasha which just broke her heart. Till next chapter!
