Zuko has finally been able to get into his dream school, a college called Republic Academy, and he's hoping to do the very best he can. He stays in his room, studies hard, and doesn't socialize much. His dorm mate, Sokka, on the other hand, would much rather party and socialize, and he's put off by his serious dorm mate. What starts out as sour, however, can turn sweet.

Qin's life hasn't been great. Losing her father and elder brothers to the war, it left her family broken and scarred. When Qin's mother cast her aside, Iroh took her in, and when Zuko was banished, Qin went with them, in hopes of making herself useful. However, when Zuko catches Aang, Qin becomes confused on who to help. It certainly doesn't help that a cute boy was helping Aang.
