We see many NPCs throughout the world of Skyrim. To us they may be no more than randomly generated enemies for our protagonist to overcome but sometimes there's a little more to their character than we realize.

"Fear not, you depraved knaves!" I exclaimed boldly. "For I am Jordis, the Dragonborn, and I am here to save you all!" I smirked. The group of disheveled men whispered amongst themselves before looking back over at me, their expressions blank. "Yeah, yeah, lady. Got any skooma?" they asked, mouths drooling. My left eye began to twitch. This was going to be harder than I thought.

A group of stormcloaks is repeatedly sent to achieve the impossible in the name of their cause, the liberation of Skyrim.

It ended in Solstheim. Better the comforting lie, than the gut-retching truth: Solstheim never ended. An end that gave way to a new beginning, the Dragonborn now traverses peacemaking, new arising factions, preventing himself from becoming a puppet in the games of higher powers, and amassing "power" he didn't ask for.

I seriously have no idea where I'm going with this, so we'll see where we end up.
