When given the chance to go back and repair the damage that had been done, what choice did he really have? But at least she could have told him he'd be starting over at the very beginning. There were, of course, many things that Bilbo left behind when he ran out the door that fateful spring morning. Most of all, though, he found himself missing his tea. Post Hobbit one-shot character study sort of a thing, in which Bilbo muses on his journey and what it's like to return home after the adventure of a lifetime.
