*COMPLETE* She told herself she was supervising; that she had to stay because Zuko wasn't trustworthy and might hurt Aang. She told herself she needed to be there with her healing abilities in case things got out of hand and they burned each other. But they were all lies. Katara was there for one reason and one reason only... Zuko had no shirt on, and he looked good enough to eat.

Ming may have a problem with the new Fire Lord, insofar as that he's decidedly not General Iroh. This makes her sudden promotion from her old position as a lowly prison guard to the head of the royal guard a bit baffling and, frankly, uncomfortable. An assassination attempt on Fire Lord Zuko cuts her pity party short.

When Kuzon s sister, Kalia, finds out that Aang is the Avatar, she immediately travels to the Southern Air Temple. They decide to run away and well- we know how the story goes. Kalia, a firebender, has to keep her bending a secret in a world where everyone seems to hate her while trying to support Aang.

AU. Zuko's ancestors hunted and killed the people in the south. Ozai now needs a new image, since he wants to become president. So he gives his son a mission: Find a girlfriend from the south to whitewash their family's reputation. But the only girl from the south Zuko knows is Katara, and she's hated him ever since high school. How can he make her agree to become his girlfriend?

Zuko and Katara share a dance and a conversation while Aang is busy conversing with petty Earth Kingdom officials. Later Aang dances with Katara, with a little drama and a little romance. This is a kataang fic. Zuko and Katara are friends, but no more. (I shouldn't have to say this, but given the state of the fandom, it's probably necessary.) Takes place post Imbalance.
