Their relationship develops as they get more shared screen time, leading to what is (hopefully) a better ending. Takes Place after the Ember Island Players. Aang is having issues focusing during training and draws Katara and Zuko intro an argument. An off the hand comment by Toph forces Zuko to deal with Aang, his place on the team and the feelings he is unwilling to explore.

The Avatar never returned, and Ba Sing Se has fallen by the hands of the Great General Iroh and his son Lu Ten. Ozai has seized control of the Fire Nation in Iroh's absence, leading to all out civil war. While Zuko spends his banishment far from the front lines, Katara and Sokka discover a terrible secret, one that will change the course of the war and the world.

Months after the war, peace and prosperity seemed to be endless in the world as all nations came together. Katara starts to think of the avatar in a new light. However, after Firelord Ozai escapes his cell, the whole world spirals out of control.

Katara, Aang, Suki and Sokka take their young children to visit Zuko's family on Ember Island. The bond between Kya and Aang grows even stronger after she discovers her new ability. Oneshot. Pairings: Kataang, Sukka, Maiko.

Aang has defeated Ozai and Zuko has defeated Azula. But what now? In the eyes of the Fire nation, Ozai is still the Firelord, and Zuko is still seen as a banished prince. Something has to happen to convince the world otherwise.
