Zuko lets Azula out of the Asylum, with a few rules. At first, Azula doesn't seem to happy around her brother and his friends, but in time, she develops a strong bond with her older brother.

Katara is now seventeen years old and working in her mother's dress shop. She is also a part time pianist. When money is short and needed in her household, she takes on the resposnsibility of accepting the offer to become the royal pianist. She meets the royal family, a family she was taught to hate.
