"Huh? This isn't my home." Matthew Patel looks around this mysterious house. He respawned after his lost to Scott Pilgrim. But shouldn't he be back home? Matthew can feel the house shake. He runs and jumps through a window. He looks up and finds a giant alien mothership above him.
Matthew points up. "So a alien invasion has come! Get ready, Martians! You face Matthew Patel!"
He flies towards the alien mothership.
On the throne located on top of the mothership, the greatest villain of his universe Dr Doom sits on his throne. The destruction his mothership is causing brings a smile to his face. Soon his grand plan will be complete and the planet will belong to Doom.
"Stop right there invader!" Matthew Patel crashes in front of Dr Doom and points at the villain. "I don't know who you are but... Dr Doom?"
Matthew's speech is interrupted once he realizes this is the greatest Marvel villain in front of him. One of the movies he remembered watching was the Fantastic Four.
"Hmph. Of course you would quake once you stare at Doom's visage." The Supreme Dictator of Latveria said smugly. He gets up from his throne, showing a tall and menacing individual. Matthew shakes his head and puts his hands together. Even though Dr Doom is a dangerous person, Matthew knows Doom's powers so he no doubt has an advantage.
"It doesn't matter Doom. Prepare for me! Matthew Patel!" Matthew throws fireballs and jumps in the air. Dr Doom merely touches the fireballs and they dissipate and he grabs Matthew's fist.
"How predictable." Dr Doom said with boredom in his voice as he uppercuts Matthew. Matthew lands on his feet and dusts himself off.
The Mystic Pirate begins to dance Indian style. Then begins to sing as he summons Demon Hipster Chicks.
"Prepare Doom! This is what happens when gloom comes for you!" They all fire at Dr Doom, barely harming him.
"You will address me as Lord Doom! Your destructor!" He launches himself in the air and slams his feet to Matthew's face. "Foot Dive!"
Matthew tries to get up but Dr Doom pins him down with his boot.
"Lord Matthew!" The Demon Hipster Chicks try to save Matthew but Dr Doom merely clenches his hand to a fist and they suddenly explode. Dr Doom holds Matthew by the leg and lifts him in the air, only to slam him to the floor. Doing so repeatingly.
"You are a mere magician. I am a sorcerer." Dr Doom gloats truthfully. He punches Matthew in the stomach, sending him flying off the mothership. Matthew is able to grab the edge of the ship and he looks up to see Doom looming over him.
"Pathetic Matthew Patel. Perhaps you should just be a street magician. That is your only level."
Dr Doom stomps on Matthew's fingers, causing him to fall off the Mothership.
"SCREW YOU!"
The Dictator of Latveria watches Matthew plummets in the air when he saw someone grab Matthew and fly away. A man Dr Doom knows and respects in a small way. "Stark... Hmph, no matter. You and that fool can come again and the result will be the same."
Victor Von Doom sits on his throne as his Mothership begins to gather energy.
"Their Doom."
"Thanks for helping but you should contact us first." Iron Man places Matthew down. Annoyed at being carried, he quickly moves away from the Armored Avenger.
"Ahem. You have my thanks. But I was clearly giving Mister Doom a hard time."
Hearing that makes Iron Man takes off his helmet to show Tony Stark grinning. "Oh totally. I think you were making the old doctor sweat as he was throwing you around."
Matthew crouches down with a dark cloud over him.
Iron Man puts his helmet back on and grabs Matthew. "What are you- AAHH!"
They fly away to Stark Tower with Matthew screaming all the way there.
A group of four people are looking over two holograms, one is Doom's Mothership and the other is a submarine. Both of them of emitting powerful energy.
"So Dr Doom and Black Manta have teamed up." Superman said.
"Yep." Aquaman comments as he enjoys a beer. "From what I can tell, ol Manta is using my trident to power up his sub. Don't know what for."
"Whatever he is using, it is charging the submarine as well as empowering it. We can't let him or Doom use their machines." Chani said when Tom Holland's Spider Man enters the room.
"Mr Stark has finished his scouting and he's bringing what looks like an Indian Pirate. He tried to-" The Web Slinger stops himself once he sees Chani. Even now it feels weird when he sees someone that resembles his girlfriend that forgot about him. 'This is weirder than meeting my variants.'
"I can leave if you want Spider Man." Chani offers as she can see him being uncomfortable just seeing her. Spider Man shakes his head.
"No, this mission is important and I'm guessing we need everyone on board." The Web Head said. Something Bonehead agrees with as he slams his mechanical fists down.
"Those tyrants cannot be allowed to fire their weapons. We gotta to take the fight to them!"
Superman calms him down. "Please Bonehead. We need a plan and more information before we can act."
"Good thing I have both." Tony enters as he exits his Iron Man suit with a shaking Matthew by his side. "Guys, welcome Matthew Patel to the Island."
"Greetings Matthew."
"Sup."
"How's it going?"
Matthew stops his shaking and gives his confident smile, along with his signature pose.
"Yes! I am Matthew Patel! Here to save the day. Just send me out and Dr Doom will fall to my feet."
Tony steps forward and inserts some information into the hologram station. Though not before saying sarcastically, "Yep. Totally a hero in the making."
The hologram zooms on the bottom of the Mothership. The team can barely see a cannon sticking out. Tony begins to explain what he found during his scouting mission.
"What I was able to scan shows this cannon. Now it hasn't been used yet but we maybe looking at Victor's doomsday weapon of the week."
"Uh..." The Man of Steel groans at that familiar idea. "Of course. The intelligent villain creates a world ending cannon-"
"Or a weather altering machine." Tony quips.
"-And gloats that he has taken the world hostage and demands our surrender. I've done this before with Lex."
Iron Man and Aquaman nod in agreement. That is when Chani gets everyone's attention.
"As much as I enjoy you heroes going through memory lane, we need a plan to stop Doom and Manta and fast. My love is fighting and so is everyone else. We need to stop them before those hordes overwhelm them."
Matthew Patel scoot over to Bonehead and ask him something as the others discuss a way to stop those villains. "What is going on? What horde are they talking about?"
"Right. You just got here." Bonehead realizes that Matthew has no idea what is going on so he explains it. "Well, there are actually a lot of islands on this planet. If you were a real pirate, this place would be full of booty to plunder."
"Pirates are in." Matthew defends his clothing.
"So these islands all have generators that forces the Storm that happens all the time back. But ever since Doom's Mothership showed up, the Storm keeps expanding and even goes through the defenses. That Storm can create zombie hordes so if we don't stop Dr Doom soon, our friends will die out there."
They all discuss plans, thinking of what to do. Do they attack Dr Doom and destroy the Mothership first or go after Black Manta and retrieve the Trident of Neptune?
That question is answered when a blue barrier surrounds Doom's Mothership. Aquaman is shocked by this.
"That's Atlantean magic! What in Arion's ass is he doing?"
"You mean what we have done?" The holograms change to show Aquaman's nemesis Black Manta. "Your little trident has created the perfect barrier for Doom's Mothership. Nothing can touch it and you know it."
Matthew shows himself and points at the hologram. "Alright Black Manta. Show yourself and lower that shield and maybe we can show mercy with a cell in your name!"
Black Manta chuckles as if Matthew is telling a joke.
"Please. Doom told me how he destroyed you. I don't care about you. You better come to the harbor Arthur. If you don't, I'll flood this island to the sea." Black Manta disappears and Tony begins to call someone as Matthew looks down.
"Don't worry. He acts that on everyone." Aquaman comforts him.
Chani fixes the hologram computer and is contacted by two others. "Bytes, Yuji Itadori, what is your situation?"
"Hey there Chani. We just stopped some Doombots." Yuji waves at the fremen survivalist. Something Bytes nods to and continues.
"We will make it to the base in 10 minutes."
"Don't." Tony disagrees. "I just finished hiring someone to steal the Trident from Manta's sub."
"You are thinking of a distraction?" Superman guesses. Something the Iron Avenger nods to.
"You got it Clark. We can't get Doom so let's takedown Manta first."
"So how do you want to do this?" Spider Man asks Aquaman as he is an expert in dealing with the underwater villain.
The King of Atlantis thinks about this and comes up with a plan. "David wants to kill me himself. That gang Tony hired can sneak into the sub while me, Matthew, Yuji, and Bytes take on Manta."
"Meanwhile," Superman has an idea what his friend is planning. "The rest of us will pretend to attack Mothership in case Doom sends backup."
Matthew smirks confidently. No doubt Aquaman needs the strongest to defeat Black Manta. He can get revenge on Dr Doom after this mission.
"Why thank you Aquaman. I shall be of great assistance in the coming battle." Matthew said. Aquaman isn't listening because he was taking a swing on his bear.
"Hm? Right, you got this."
"So who did you contact Mr Stark?" Spider Man ask the other version of his mentor. That is when four masked people enter the room. Each one of their white masks have a playing card suit with the one with a heart steps forward.
"Names Loveless. The Getaway Gang got your call. So what are stealing?"
Matthew Patel is at a lost of words, for once. This Loveless walks confidently in a white suit with a white ponytail. Matthew has lost his battle to get back with Ramona but perhaps he can win this one.
Omake: When the Spider Men meet Chani
Chani laughs to a joke told by Tom Holland's Spider Man. This Web Crawler was really shocked that someone looked so much like Michelle Jones but she isn't and though it has been hard talking to someone with the same face, he tries his best and they are actually getting along.
This is until Comic Spider Man enters the cafeteria and sits next to his variant.
"That was quite funny Peter Parker. My love may even crack a smile if you told him." Chani said and Tom Holland's Spider Man remembers that Chani is in a loving relationship.
"Right, your fiance?" Comic Spider Man guesses and Chani nods.
"My soon-to-be husband and king. Paul Atreides."
"Wow, a king. Someone is moving up in the world. Right Peter?" Tom Holland's Spider Man looks at his counterpart and he is confused why the other Spider Man is having a thousand yard stare.
"MJ with Paul. MJ with Paul."
