No Such Luck…or Destiny's Deceit?
Ch 1: A Fateful Day Begins
It was a peaceful evening in Royal Woods, the Loud family was getting home after that trip to the movies. The sisters quite enjoyed it, while a certain Loud boy didn't. For Lincoln, it was another day of being treated like some sort of good luck charm.
As the van parked up on the driveway, everyone got out while chattering about the fun times they had while they were at the cinema. Lincoln just scoffed as he opened the door that welcomed him to the house. Going up to his room, he made sure his sisters weren't batting an eye on him.
Ever since that one softball game Lynn Jr. lost, she blamed him for his 'bad luck'. Lincoln decided to take it as a ticket to the free time he desperately wanted, he was banned from his sisters activities. It got to the point where they boarded up his room, because it was tainted with bad luck, they even forced him to sleep outside for two months straight.
And, Lincoln made sure that Michael, Elizabeth, CC, or even the Afton parents didn't find out about his case. If they did, he won't like the aftereffects.
Irritated, Lincoln immediately took off his suit, and sprawled on the mattress on his floor. They sold his furniture, but left his accessories at least. He hugged Bun-Bun and asked him. "Looks like tomorrow is going to suck, huh?"
Lincoln looked at the plush rabbit as if it would give an answer. He heard the front door open, and he already knew who it was.
He heard Elizabeth's voice from downstairs. "Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Loud!"
Lincoln quickly got out of his room, freshened up, and changed into his trademark orange shirt, blue jeans, and white shoes with orange stripes. He went downstairs, and good thing, CC didn't almost wander off upstairs, to his room.
"Hey guys…" Lincoln chuckled.
"Oh hey, Lincoln." William smiled, as he fixed his gray suit and purple necktie.
"I'm just…going to my friends' house." Lincoln said as he opened the front door. "See you soon!"
"Make sure you'll be home by curfew, son!" Lynn Sr. said in a stern tone.
