(really old story made in 2019, if yall like it ill clean up this trash writing and give yall a good story)
Being on an MTF squad is unlike any other job Jay has had before. Being the Captain of one? Even weirder. Jay and his team were given a, well extremely brief briefing of their mission labeled urgent. They were to secure an area deep in a forest far from any local towns or general human life that the foundation higher-ups have supposedly detected "anomalous entities." Now Jay was no stranger to the anomalous. You don't spend 10 years with the foundation and get promoted to captain if you aren't. He has had many run-ins with scps even the more dangerous ones like 106 and survived it's safe to say he's an expert.
None of that could have prepared him for what he would see when he and his team touched down in the forest.
This is the last recording of MTF squad Renaissance.
Body cam recording of Captain Jaylen Howard
The sounds of a helicopter's blades wiring could be heard as MTF squad Renaissance landed on site. Their mission was clear, locate and contain all anomalies present and close the open reality gateway or at the very least hold point until more resources can arrive. It might seem overwhelming for the average person but for the MTF this was an average working day.
"Come on boys" Was the first thing Jay said to his loyal men. "Remeber no names..."
"Roger captain" came the clear response.
"Do we have any idea what we could be dealing with?" A worried cadet designated R-4 said.
After a brief pause, the captain responded, "No. No junior we don't which is why we have to be careful." The captain took a breath. "now I'm not trying to scare y'all but I know from experience anomalies that can bend reality in these sorts of ways are unpredictable and unreasonable."
R-2 one of the captain's oldest friends at the foundation chuckled while unloading the larger reality anchors from the bird. "Settle down cap, the poor lad looks as if he's going to wet himself!" He said with a hearty laugh causing the cadet to redden. "Hey man that's not funny!" The cadet whisper-yelled back to him but was just treated to another one of R-2's throaty laughs.
"Guys I'm glad you're getting a kick out of this" Came a new voice, "But we really need to hurry up, as the captain said these anomalies are dangerous we should take height and surround the area." This was R-3 a recent transfer from an alpha-level MTF squad sometimes Jay wonders if he should be captain instead.
"But we didn't see anything from the eagle eye. I feel like we should just push straight in where we know the signal is" R-2 said pointing deeper into the forest. Jay finished unpacking all their weapons, a stable AR for himself. Reliable but nothing fancy, a small sub for R-2, R-3s high power marksmen rifle, and the cadets own customized Ftac shotgun. After distributing the weapons and supplies the captain finally gave his verdict.
"I think R-3 is right. We need to be quick but we should still be cautious. Taking height will help us better plan our next move. Even though I know how much some of you like to run&gun". He said passing a look in R-2's direction.
"What? It's not my fault I like having a little fun on the job." R-2 said.
With a game plan decided the team pushes up into the forest and closer to the source of the anomalous signal.
The team systematically placed cameras as they walked and made sure to document anything that could be of importance but fortunately for them, nothing out of the ordinary was happening yet.
They waded through the dark as quietly as possible and made it to a stop on a large hill overlooking the large green forest.
"Guys it's starting to get dark." The cadet said. "Whatever we are going to do we need to do it soon."
"We have the equipment to wait in the dark." The captain replied "We are going to do this slow and steady. No casualties." He said firmly.
R-2 sighed "We still don't even know what we are up against! We have been out here almost an hour and all we got is a nice hiking trip!" R-2's older than anyone else on the team but still manages to be the most childish causing the captain to give his own sigh.
"Guys shut up I think I got something," R-3 said looking down at his magnifying scope. "I want to say 5 miles east. I don't want to get your hopes up but it looks like a couple of humanoid foxes."
"Well, either the furries have turned anomalous or we have our targets." The captain resolved. "How many are we looking at?"
"I don't know" R-3 replied, "It's hard to tell I'm not seeing anything that would have caused a breach in reality either. I recommend we get closer." R-3 suggested.
"That's probably a good idea but I still have to call it in any way." The captain said reaching for his radio. "Come in site 19 this is R-1 we have spotted a possible anomalous humanoid figure couple of miles east but no sign of any reality tears please advise." It wasn't long until a voice replied; "Your clear to advance and engage the primary objective is to find and fix the reality tears before we engage anomalies but do whatever is necessary backup is on the way."
"Copy that 19," The captain said before shutting down his radio line.
"So that's the plan then?" The cadet started. "Just waltz down there and close a reality tear and leave?"
"Well that's the dumbed-down version but yeah" the captain replied "That is the gist of it"
"Well, how do we even go about closing a literal tear in reality? What does that even mean?" the cadet asked with worry in his tone but was already starting down the hill toward his destination promoting the rest of the team to follow.
"Relax brother," R-3 said with a chill tone. "Most of the time tears in reality look just like that. A portal or crack in what seems like nothing. We will use these" he pulls one of the small black rods from the pouch he was wearing. "To close it right up."
The cadet sighed and relented. "Let's just get this done quick please".
"That is the goal" the captain replied.
The team made their way down the hill making sure to stay on the outskirts of the area the anomalies were found. They stuck to the shadows as night began to fall still not seeing any sign of a tear in reality or an open portal.
"Guys, is it possible it was a false alarm?" The cadet asked. "I mean we have been out here for what seems like hours and have nothing."
"Maybe, but until we get the clear to evacuate we have to keep looking. It would be a lot easier if the extra resources they were sending actually showed up" The captain said.
"Yeah," R-2 piped up "Where the hell are those lazy bastards anyway?"
"Quiet both of you I hear something," R-3 said prompting silence out of the bickering men as they raised their weapons where R-3 was looking still hidden in the bushes. The team didn't have to wait long until a feminine anthropomorphic wolf stepped out into the open.
"Yeah guys I think the smell is coming from over here," It said looking over its shoulder while seemingly sniffing at the air.
"Whoa. What in the fuck is that?" The captain whispered.
"I don't know, it looks reminiscent of 1471 though how should we proceed captain?" R-3 asks seemingly with his rifle aimed at the creature's head.
"Well don't shoot the wretched thing," the captain said "We should radio It in, maybe it will prompt the council to send us some bloody backup." The captain reached down for his radio but stopped when another monster of the same feminine caliber walked out next to the wolf.
"I think you are just too excited to get a new husband, Ebony, according to the mages this should be a remote place far away from any humans, a perfect place to set up a new demon realm before we show ourselves to the humans." The entity said before dragging the k9 creature back into the woods.
"Shit man monster or not you gotta admit they are fucking bombshells." The cadet whispered and he was certainly right. Both monsters had very different appearances in their way one looking as if their eyes were on fire while their body is coated in dark luscious fur which is the only thing protecting her modesty as she opted to wear no visible clothing. Her extremely large breast treating to spill out of her fur she used as a makeshift bra while the other was more human-like in features still sporting large breasts on a slim frame with pillowy thighs, this one did wear clothes as provocative and revealing as they were. She had on what could be passed as a poor excuse for a bra and panties which left so little to the imagination that she might have well been wearing nothing at all. She had light brown skin and seemed to wear a type of animal skull on her head like a helmet or mask.
"You know captain, you were talking of how dangerous these things were earlier but I'm struggling to be afraid of what looks like a character from someone's teen fantasy," R-2 whispered with a giggle causing the captain to scowl.
"Remember gentleman no matter the appearance these are still possibly hostile anomalies it could use that erotic body to lure idiots like yourself directly into their death." The captain said.
"How dark…" R-2 replied but got the message loud and clear.
"What were they talking about though? About getting a husband?" R-3 asks the group.
"Maybe they are here looking for a suitable breeding host?" The cadet replied with an uncharacteristically sensible reply making R-2 look at him with confusion.
"what? Why are you looking at me like that?" After a brief pause, R-2 just mumbled "Nothing" making the cadet shake his head at R-2s clownish antics.
"If we follow them we can probably find out where the tear, In reality, Is, then maybe we can get some instructions on how to contain these things." The captain suggested and just for good measure added "And maybe if we do a good job they will let us keep one~," He said in a teasing tone while passing a knowing glance to R-2.
"Shit you don't gotta keep selling to me Cap, I already am buying the merchandise!" R-2 said wiggling his eyebrows the way a cartoon character would.
"What happened to all the 'remember guys they could be dangerous speak go again, captain?" R-3 asked in a jesting matter. The captain was struggling to come up with a response but luckily the cadet did it for him.
"Just being honest I would risk it all to hit either one of them…" He said dreamily prompting R-2 to give him a healthy slap on the back.
"Atta boy recruit!" He said "Now that you have finally grown a pair of balls you might be able to use them! We gotta get down there and secure the tear first though. Even though more of those sexy things coming here might not be a bad thing.
"You lot are gross." R-3 said.
"Oh, you're kidding me," R-2 said. "You gonna honestly tell me to my face you wouldn't fuck either of those things? Really? You gay or something?"
"What?! No of course not you idiot!" R-3 replied quickly probably louder than he should have considering the monsters are likely still close by.
"Look I'm not judging if you are" R-2 defensively raised his hands.
"No, I'm saying your gross because we are on a mission and all your thinking about is getting your limp dick wet!" R-3 said getting progressively annoyed.
"Woah no need to go after my silver serpent bro! Besides how else am I supposed to react when the anomaly we are supposed to contain has milk jugs bigger than my head!"
R-3 looked disgusted. "Now I know why we need to secure contain and protect. Freaks like you would do some vile shit to those things without thinking of the possible effects!"
"Remember that time when you were drunk you got in a full-blown argument with me about what it would feel like to stick your dick into 999?" R-2 said flatly.
"Alright, you win." Was R-3s only response.
"Hold up what the fuck?" The cadet said, "No I need to hear this fucking story."
"GUYS! We have a mission let's focus so we can get the fuck out of here!" The captain said finally reigning in his team of now horny men. "We need to pursue the anomalies before we lose their trail." He said this while making his way down the hill they were on, clearly trying to end this odd conversation and find the anomalies while they are still on their trail.
The MTF crew slowly pushed deeper into the heart of the forest and closer to the signal that had led them out there in the first place.
"Are you guys hearing voices or have I completely gone mad?" R-2 whispered causing the team to stop their movement and listen.
"Yeah. Those are definitely voices and I think they are still speaking English." Said R-3. "We are close but what are we to do when we make contact captain?"
"I want to try not to." The captain said in a resolute tone. "The top priority is to seal the tear but should we make contact we should not display hostility and try to reason and possibly make a good impression. At least until backup comes to contain."
"Roger Captain," they all said at once.
They eventually reached a clearing in the forest and-
"Holy fuck there are a lot of 'em" The captain whispered to himself but the team still heard.
"Yeah, and they are all hot as fuck. Even that one over there that looks like it's half scorpion." R-2 said.
"I think it's safe to say that's our tear." R-3 said pointing at the large portal-like structure at the heart of their congregation. "But with how many there are patrolling it. How are we supposed to get the anchors close enough to close it?"
"That's true Captain." The cadet started, "There is no cover or way to sneak around and we don't have any remote units."
"Maybe we can try luring them out?" said R-2. "I mean think about it they said they were looking for husbands right? If one of us goes out there they might be distracted enough to allow us to drop the anchors?"
After a brief pause, the captain spoke again "That's gotta be the dumbest thing that has come out of your mouth and that's saying something. We know nothing about these things! We don't even know what they mean by husband! You go out there you risk all of our safety."
"Yeah that isn't a very sound plan-" R-3 started to say before a furry being shot out of the woods leaping directly into him.
"WHAT THE SHIT!?" he shouted in alarm likely getting the attention of the other anomalies in the area.
The captain quickly turns to R-3 weapons drawn to see him being unwillingly straddled by the same fox-like creature they all saw earlier.
"HEY GET THE FUCK OFF ME!" R-3 said struggling against the monster.
"Relax husband I knew I smelt you back there! You're even cuter than I would have imagined~" The wolf nuzzled her face into R-3's chest even while he was still trashing around.
R-2 stepped closer to the pair with his gun aimed at the anomaly "Hey tits for brains let him go, I really don't want to have to shoot you but I fucking will." He said and an audible click was heard when he flipped the gun off safety.
"Oh, you humans are always so aggressive~," It said in a lightly scolding tone. The way a mother would scold a young child. "I can't say I don't enjoy it though."
"Captain, what the hell should we do?" The cadet whispered standing behind the captain still aiming at the monster.
Before the captain could answer a voice stopped him.
"So nice to see you humans drop by!" The voice came from behind the group. The captain and cadet spun around aiming their weapons on the new target.
It seemed to also be of a feminine form with long blonde hair green eyes and pointy ears.
"Oi tell your friend to let R-3 go. Now." The captain said with a very authoritative tone.
"Hmm~ You know human I don't think you're in a position to make threats to us." She said.
"And why is that?" The cadet challenged finally finding his resolve.
"Well, you're outnumbered for one." She said with an air of arrogance but she was right.
The captain's attempt at having a peaceful confrontation had allowed his men to be surrounded he didn't need to look around to know that the entities that were congregating around the portal had turned to circle the team.
"But perhaps more importantly you know that you don't want to hurt us. You want us to be together just like we do." She said dreamily.
"Your right about that." The captain started. "We don't want to hurt you but we will if we have to. You need to let my friend go and if you have any sense go back to where you came from."
"Aww, that's so sad to hear you say." The monster said with genuine disappointment in its voice.
"Though I'm certain a night with me would change your mind~," She said in a sultry tone spreading her arms out wide as if expecting the captain to leap into them.
And to the cadet's surprise, his captain took a Shakey step forward.
And then another.
"Captain? What are you doing man what's the play?" R-2 asked still not taking his aim off the dark-furred monster. The captain didn't respond. Still taking step after step towards the monster's still outstretched arms and the cadet made a choice that he knew the captain probably wouldn't approve of.
BANG
A single shot rang out and the captain stopped. Moments later the body of the monster he was advancing toward hit the ground with a soft thud. A pool of red blood already forming from the newly formed bullet wound in its skull.
Everything stopped. Even the light sway of the forest trees stopped.
"AHHHHHHHHHH" A whale of anguish from the crowd caused the captain to finally step out of his stupor.
He took a step back and swung his head around left and right as If he didn't remember where he was until he shouted to his men.
"THIS IS A HOSTILE ENGAGEMENT OPEN FIRE ON ALL THREATS" He shouted before turning his sights on the nearest monster advancing on his men. R-2 finally made the shot and the monster straddling R-3 was eliminated allowing him to rise and pick up his weapon.
It was a slaughterhouse.
Every monster was systematically shot down before they could get within 10ft of any soldier. The peaceful approach was clearly out of the window and the team would face hell from the council for killing so many anomalies but at least they could say they completed the mission objective.
When the last shot was fired and the final monster hit the ground the squad stopped to take a breath. Or at least some of them did.
"CAPTAIN, WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?" R-2 shouted. "WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO YOU THEN?"
"I DON'T KNOW!" Came his immediate reply "I- I don't know man" The captain sat down in the grass trying to hold back tears. His brain was overwhelmed he put his men in unneeded danger and then nearly fell for one of the anomalous obvious lures.
"Aww don't blame him it's not his fault." Came a new feminine voice. "You would have all done the same in his position you know?" The group turned to the voice and saw another one of the monsters this one more human-like in nature.
It had a beautiful face framed by long white hair and scarlet red eyes wearing armor that looked more akin to metal lingerie with black high-top boots. Its stare was alluring but dangerous and the group had a hard time staying focused in its presence.
"Please just leave. There has been enough bloodshed today." The cadet pleaded but put his finger on his trigger nonetheless.
"Yes," it responded with a sullen tone. "These poor ladies just wanted to get to know you better. You, humans, are always so afraid of us. We just want to be together you know? In peace, that's what Mother wants."
"Well if peace Is want you to want we can arrange that just wait here for our support to arrive and we can work something out." The captain said.
The monster giggled. A sweet almost childlike giggle but still with an undertone of the darkness it harbored.
"No, I'm sorry love. I will have to take you and your men back with me now."
"Yeah I'm sorry but that isn't an option." The captain said causing the monster to giggle at him again.
"You humans are so adorable~," she said before every single member of Renaissance fell to the ground. Not dead but in a deep unwavering sleep.
*The remaining footage has been removed as requested by the O5 council*
When the requested backup arrived there was no sign of the MTF squad and the bodies that should have accumulated were not found. If there wasn't camera footage of the event there would have been no signs it happened at all.
CASE END.
