After dinner, Marinette headed to Master Fu's place.

" You wanted to see me, Master Fu?" Marinette asked.

" Yes, we must begin training. With these kinds of powers, you can be really dangerous if you don't learn how to control them," Master Fu told her.

" Haven't you seen the news? I've defeated two villains with my new powers!" Marinette said.

" Yes, but your powers were unpredictable. You could tell you didn't know what you were doing," Master Fu replied.

" Huh, yeah, I guess that's true," Marinette sighed.

" First, we shall master wind," Master Fu announced.

" Yes, sir," Marinette replied. " But, er, question, sir, how do I get control of my powers?" she inquired.

" Well, your powers are connected to your emotions. Fire is for anger. Ice is for bitterness. Wind is for calmness. Water is for sadness. Earth is for sympathy. Electricity is for energy. Time is for all those emotions combined," Master Fu explained.

" Oh, well that makes sense. So right now I need to focus on being calm to control the winds?" Marinette guessed.

" Exactly. Just meditate while standing up," Master Fu instructed.

" Think calm thoughts. Think calm thoughts," Marinette mumbled. " Is it just me or is it getting chilly in here?"

" I think it's working!" Master Fu exclaimed.

" Why would you say that?" Marinette asked.

" Because everything moveable is blowing away!" Master Fu told her.

Marinette opened her eyes to see what he was talking about. Sure enough, light objects were flying everywhere. Master Fu caught the box of miraculous.

" Yes, that's so awesome!" Marinette cheered.

Everything fell to the floor. Lightning came from nowhere and nearly hit Master Fu. Wazz and Tikki gasped in shock.

" Whoops," Marinette said.

Meanwhile, Adrien had just arrived at the jail his father was currently in.

" Are you sure you're ready for this, kid?" Plagg questioned.

" I need to know why he did all this. And he also probably knows who Mayura is. And if he tells me, which he probably won't, we can defeat her and I'll finally know who Ladybug is," Adrien explained.

" I see. Well, do what you have to do, kid," Plagg replied.

Adrien entered the Jail. He walked up to the person at the main desk. The secretary looked at him with disinterest until she realized who he was. She dialed in a number on the telephone.

" Uh, yes, Adrien Agreste is here to see his father."

" Send him in."

" Will do."

She hung up and looked at Adrien.

" This way, please," she commanded.

Adrien followed her into a room. It had a bunch of booths with telephones. Lots of people were talking to the prisoners. Adrien saw his father sit down at one of the booths. He went and sat down on the other side. Both picked up the telephone at the same time.

" Adrien."

" Father."

" I'm sure you're not here just to chitchat."

" You'd be right. Father… why did you do all this?"

" For us. For Emily. If I got both the cat and the ladybug miraculous, I would have one wish. I was going to wish to bring your mother back," Gabriel explained.

" Yeah, but you hurt innocent people! Besides, the wish comes with a price. Someone would have to take her place. What would you do if that ended up being me?"

" I… guess I never thought about that," Gabriel admitted.

" I also know that you know who Mayura is. You guys were working together. If you want to make things right, then you need to tell me," Adrien said.

" You won't like the answer," Gabriel told him.

" That does not make me feel better," Adrien remarked.

" Son, are you sure you really want to know?" Gabriel asked.

" Yes, father, I do," Adrien answered.

Marienette was still struggling. Everytime she managed to get control over the winds, she got excited and nearly killed Master Fu. It was really frustrating. How could she possibly be worthy of this.

" It's no use. I'm never going to get this right!" Marinette yelled in frustration.

Fire shot from her hands and scorched the remaining of Master Fu's hair.

" Oh, my god! Master, are you okay?"

" I am, but my hair isn't. Now, Marinette, I never said this was going to be easy. If it was, I wouldn't have bothered to help you. Nothing is ever easy. If it is, it's not worth it. Now, shall we try again?"

" But, what if lightning actually hits you?" Marinette asked.

" Then, I'd die. But let's not worry about the negative. Let's focus on the positive. If you master these powers, no villain would ever stand a chance. Unless, they had powers that leveled to yours. Which is very unlikely. Of course, we always must prepare."

" Okay, let's do this," Marinette said.

She closed her eyes and relaxed her mind. She needed to master these powers. But, would she need Cat Noir if she did, or would she just want him? Probably the latter.

" Um… Marinette?"

Marinette opened her eyes. Master Fu was wet from head to toe. She looked down and realized the floor was flooded.

" See? I'll never be able to do this!"

" I think you just need a break. We have been at this for a few hours. Go get some rest and come back tomorrow," Master Fu said.

" Okay," Marinette agreed.

On her way home, Marinette's phone dinged. She ignored it at first, too deep into her thoughts. But it kept dinging, so she answered it. She nearly fainted at what she saw.

" OH MY GOD!"
