The starship and Arwing reach a large grassy hollow with some ruins mixed in with Thorntails all over, called Thorntail Hollow, as the 2 ships land near each other. Fox climbs out of the cockpit while Tricky comes out of the Cargo hold of Fox's ship. The others made it out of the hatch of the Starship. "Wow... This place looks pretty." Sam spoke in awe as took off her helmet and ran her fingers through her hair, amazed by the Hollow's peacefulness and nature. "This is beautiful... It reminds me of Goldwood before Mizar took it over." Vela breathes out as Lupus barks and runs around, yipping as well.
"Welcome to Thorntail Hollow, everyone!" Fox spoke out as he walked up to the others. "I need to help Juno return this Spirit to its rightful place. I was wondering if you could return the Spellstone to a place called the Volcano Force Point Temple?" "Sure, we can do it." Sam smiles as she places her helmet on. "Not a problem!" Ben grins out as well. Juno nodded as he spoke to his sister and war dog. "Vela, Lupus. I need you 2 to go with them and help them out as well while I scout the area." "Understood!" Vela replies as Lupus licks Juno's face in response as a way of saying yes.
"It's just past that large well on the right. Keep going down to see a path there. You just need to go through Moon Moutain Pass." Tricky points at the large well over by a corner as Fox, Juno, and Tricky run off towards another way. "Okay, Ben! Lead the way." "Wait! You want me to lead?" "Of course! You know this game, better than I do. And right now, I need your help!" Ben gazes up and smiles, glad that he is appreciated, after all. "Okay! Follow me!" He cries out as he runs across the river and towards the well with Sam, Vela, and Lupas following.
Intro:
The screen is black, only for a bolt of green lightning to make a flash of white light as upbeat music is heard.
Ben stands as he is smirking at the camera as a black with green bubbles background is behind the tween, making the boy raise both his arms and show off his new Omnitrix and then slap down with a grin, making a flash of light.
"BEN 10!"
"He's a kid and he wants to have fun!"
Upgrade with hands on hips appears as a close-up of his face shows up in the background as a bolt of lightning comes down.
Big Chill flies across and freezes as the same thing happens to Swampfire, leaping out of an explosion.
"But when you need a superhero, he gets the job done!"
"BEN 10!"
Shock Rock smashes his fists together, sending out waves of electricity that affect the 4th wall.
"With a device that he wears on his arm."
"He can change his shape and save the world from harm!"
Ben poses with his Omnitrix, just as headshots of Shock Rock, Water Hazard, Big Chill, and Crashhopper show up, one-by-one.
Rath was staring at Grey Matter, who hopped along a bunch of platforms with the watch symbol on it. The tiger alien was confused before it turned into rage as he held his head in anger.
"When trouble's taking place."
Ben was then running towards the screen.
"He gets right in its face!"
"BEN 10!"
Humungousaur, Slapback, Fasttrack and Gravattack's headshots show up as well!
A green circuit board background is shown as 6 aliens show up in a row. Ben is staring at the 4th wall as his right side is shown. The aliens are Shock Rock, Fasttrack, Rath, Swampfire, Gravattack, and 4 Slapbacks.
"When lives are on the line."
The same thing happens with his left side as more aliens appear. The aliens are now: Big Chill, Water Hazard, Grey Matter, Humungousaur, Crashhopper, and Upgrade.
"It's hero time!"
"BEN 10!"
It ends with Ben and Alex, standing side to side with crossed arms and smirks as well as Normie and Madison on Ben's side and Sam and Clover on Alex's side the title appears above.
The 4 kept running down some ledges and through a tunnel and leaps over a large hole, thanks to their enhanced abilities. They kept running as they stopped. They look around their environment. It almost resembled a lunar surface, but they were at a loss as to what could have shaped the environment in this area in such a manner. They stepped out carefully onto the new terrain. The ground seemed to be composed of fine, bluish-gray sand that shifted slightly underfoot, and geysers of yellow, sulfur-smelling vapor occasionally erupted from small craters scattered haphazardly across the ground. "This is Moon Mountain Pass? Weird." Vela mumbles out as Sam stops and looks around, whispering to herself. "I wonder where the programmers came up with these level designs?"
The 4 kept running, only for a laser bolt to almost hit their feet, making them stop and stumble back in surprise. "Whoa! Where did that come from?!" Ben cried out as Sam looked up at the walls and spotted some drones, chuckling at them "Up there!" "Great... More bugs. Looks like Mizar managed to set up shop on this planet and send those drones to keep us from returning the Spellstone." Vela frowns as Lupus growls as they both bring out their machine guns. Sam smirks out as she whips out her weapon and Ben does the same. "Well then, you know the best way to get rid of bugs in your way? Squash them!" They all charged as they opened fire, running up the hill while blasting at alien bugs on the ledges as limbs and goo were sprayed all over as laser bullets flew all over.
Some bugs even try charging at them from behind, but Sam and Ben turn backward and blast them while running backward as well and Vela and Lupas cover their front. They managed to reach what could only be a guard station and shut the doors as they took a breather. "Well... that was intense..." Vela spoke out. "I know... I'm... just going to take a breather." Sam breathes out as she rests her hands on her knees as Lupus pants. "Too bad I don't have Fasttrack, then I can just get the stone back to the Force Point in a snap." Ben frowns as he holds his finger on his chin.
After resting and grabbing another weapon chest that contained Grey Matter's icon, the 4 continued running up the hill and shooting down some hover droids of Mizar and into a temple entrance, continuing down to notice they arrived at the Volcano Force Point Temple, only for Sam and Ben's helmets to give off a reading of intense heat. "Whew! This place is like an oven on fire!" "What do you expect? This is a volcano!" Vela exclaims to Sam as Ben gestures to the molten lava below them. "Follow me! I know where the temple is and how to get in!" He cries out as they leap from platform to platform, get past jets of fire with timing, and run up a conveyor belt as barrels run down on them.
They made it to a bridge area, only to encounter a couple of what looked like biped dinosaurs in leather and metal armor and carrying axes and shields, to which Ben pointed out as Sharpclaws, bad mutant dinosaurs that Fox mentioned before on the trip to the surface. As Vela takes care of some sniper drones from above, Lupus tackles one and growls as he slams his armored paws/hands on the mutant dinosaur. Sam ducks under a swing from one and sidesteps out of the way, she delivers a hi-kick to his jaw, knocking him back as she delivers a few punches to its ugly mug. The being snarls as it tries to tackle Sam, but she smirks as she leaps over and delivers a roundhouse kick to his back, sending him over the edge and into the lava. "Nothing personal, lizard boy!"
Ben, on the other hand, smirks at the Sharpclaw. "This time, I don't need a heavy hitter!" Ben dials the Omnitrix and slaps down, turning into Grey Matter. "Just my big thinker!" He grins out as Sharpclaw sees how small the alien is and laughs loudly at him, but Grey Matter leaps onto and climbs up as the mutant dinosaur tries to get him off, dancing around in the process. "Hmm... Although the body is different from an average member of the Tyrannosauroidea family, the structure is somewhat similar. This would mean the main nerve cluster should be... Here!" He cries out as he pinches a certain part of the Sharpclaw's neck, making it freeze up with a goofy grin and fall over, knocked out as Grey Matter dusts his hands off. "Done and done!"
"What did you do?" Sam asks out as she picks him up and they continue onto the bridge that leads to the temple. "Hephaestan Neuro Grip. Useful for subduing all manners of prey, thank you very much! And don't ask me how I know it, Grey Matter just does. Now, pull out the Spellstone over this panel on the floor." He gestures to the ident on a glowing circle panel on the floor. Vela did that, with the SpellStone clicked into the slot as though it was magnetized. And then, sparks flickered between the stone and the panel, and the gate in front of them rotated out of the way, leaving the path to the Temple's entrance clear. "Impressive." Vela raises an eyebrow.
Sam stores the stone in one of her belt's pouches as they walk in with Lupas blasting a Sharpclaw by the door with her rifle as she uses the stone to open the doors, "Good thing Fox already solved the puzzles. Makes our trip much easier." Grey Matter spoke the teen spy as she blasted a few more Sharpclaws and stepped on a circle platform, making it lower them down.
Grey Matter times out back to Ben as the 4 set off for the tunnel while they pass some flaming bats into a large room that a series of narrow bridges that hang over lava pits. "We made it! Up on the 2nd floor, is the teleport pad we need to get to." Sam groans out in dread at Ben's statement as she stares down at the bubbling magma below. "Lava pits... Why did it have to be Lava Pits? I'm starting to not like this game." Sam lowers her eyebrows as she slouches over and hangs her head in a depressed manner. "Now worries! I know a shortcut! Just wait for a few minutes." Ben leans against a wall as Sam steps away from the lava and crosses her arms in waiting as well. After a bit, Ben's watch beeps green as the boy slaps down with a smirk, turning into Big Chill.
"Hang on!" He grabbed Sam and Vela and flew them upward to the 2nd floor as Lupus activated his suit's hover feet feature to follow them and towards a glowing platform, steeping on it as lights of energy engulfed the 4 and were teleported away to a large room with a large stone momentum in the center that has 4 slots around, with 2 filled out by 2 other Spellstones and the other 2 are empty. "That's where we need to return the Spellstone." Big Chill points out as Sam nods in response. "Right! Here goes..." She breathes out and places her stone onto one of the empty slots, causing a brief rumble as they see the beam of energy that is coming out of the stone object has shrunk, weakening as they all Hi-five in victory as Lupus howls out.
"Yeah! We'll save Dinosaur Planet in no time!" Sam grins out as Vela adds out with a smile as well. "And stop Mizar and restore peace to the Galaxy as well!" Big Chill smirks as well. "Oh, yeah! We're unstoppable!" They all got teleported outside of the Temple as they noticed, making Big Chill hold onto his friends as he flew and phases through walls, getting back to Moon Mountain Pass in record time as Lupus got off the alien's arms and hovered alongside them.
Once they manage to reach the exit of the area, Ben times out as they continue running back to Thorntail Hollow, making it back as they pass the well and run back into Fox, Juno, and Tricky. "The Spellstone is back in place!" Vela reports out. "Which means, the Volcano Force Point has been shut down!" Ben adds out as Fox smiles. "Good job! What you all did helped save this world." Ben grins out as Sam merely smiles at Fox's words. Vela then frowns as she speaks to her brother. "But we also ran into Mizar's troops on the way, and it looks like they are working with the Sharpclaw." "Then it looks like Mizar and Scales did team up!" Juno frowns as he crosses his arms.
"So, where to next?" "I need to release this new Krazoa Spirit I got while you 4 were busy!" Fox explains to Sam as he walks away, but Team Gemini and Ben and Sam follow after him and go into a small garden area, only to be surprised by a huge, living stone statue! "Whoa..." Sam breathes out in awe as the stone smiles and replies in a Scottish accent. "Fox, me boy! See you made some new friends! And it looks like you got another Krazoa Spirit already as well!"
"Yeah, big guy! Listen, I was wondering if you could teleport my new friends with me to the Palace? They have been a good help, lately!" "Well, then! You lads and lassie hop on and off you go to Krazoa Palace!" The Warpstone spoke out as Sam whispered. "This is not possible a talking statue can warp us to another place! It's impossible!" "Really?" Ben had a questioning look as he lifted his visor. "We're on a magic-filled planet with talking smart dinosaurs in a video game world and we are teaming up with a talking fox alien pilot, 2 space twins, and an armored dog. And you saying something is impossible to a kid with an alien device on him that can change him into any being in the Universe?" Sam sweatdrops in response as she has a bit of an embarrassed look. "Oh, yeah... You make a good point." Nonetheless, the 6 got onto the statue's left hand and were bathed in a glow as they disappeared.
The team had appeared, only to notice that they were in some cave. "What the?! This isn't Krazoa Palace!" Fox cries out in surprise as he glances around as Juno asks out. "What happened? This looks more like an old cave than a Palace." Just then, the Warpstone's voice rang out. "Sorry, lads! Some sort of outside energy source interfered with me powers and sent you 3 below the Palace instead. But not to worry! That cave leads to a Chamber that'll take yea to the Palace. Just keep going down the tunnel." Vela groans out as she pets Lupus. "Well... Guess we're walking." "I wonder what is that energy the Warpstone mentioned that sent us here?" Sam ponders as they walk off. Ben notices his sparking Omnitrix, putting 2 and 2 together as he realizes the Omni-Energy affected the teleport magic, causing it to malfunction. "Uhh... No idea! Let's go!" Ben grins out as he catches up, hoping the others never find out or he'll be in hot water.
As the group kept walking down the hall, Fox and Sam passed the time making small talk with Team Gemini. Fox told the teen humans about his mission and the Spirits were needed to save a girl named Krystal, who is trapped in the Palace. "Well, looks like we got a hero trying to save a damsel in distress over here!" Juno grins as he wraps his arm around Fox with a big teasing grin. Vela giggles as Fox blushes in response. "I'm just trying to help, that's all!" "Sure, you are, lover boy." Juno chuckles out.
Vela then realizes something. "By the way, Sam. How did you and Ben get to Mizar's palace in the 1st place when we met you? And how come we've never seen you at Jet Force Command before?" "It's... Complicated to explain. But we're not from these parts, so to say." Ben stops as he gazes at a large crack in the wall. "Whoa! I had no idea this part of Krazoa Palace even existed, or even have a bottom." He ran after the others, unaware of yellow and red glowing eyes narrowed at the boy from the shadows of the crack.
Ben kept running, only to nearly trip on a rock as he stumbled and accidentally pushed Fox and Sam away! "Hey!" "Sorry!" Ben regains himself as he dusts his armor off. Sam frowns as she places her fist on her hips. "Honestly, Ben! Can't you ever look where you are going?"
But as Ben looked off, he noticed a ledge above with a chest. "Sweet! A Weapon Chest!" He leaps up and punches it open, making 2 tokens fly out as Sam grabs one as did Fox with the other, making 2 flashes of light. Ben lands as they both notice Sam is holding a large Chain gun with a similar design as their weapons. "Thanks for the new weapon! I've been looking for more firepower." Fox notices he is holding what looks like a futuristic handheld gun but has something extra built into it as Fox stares at it in confusion. "I'll figure out what it is, later." He mumbles as he stores it in his pack.
Just then, a stone door opens near them, making the young boy peek in and grin at the sight of 5 floating Omnitrix tokens. "Keep the guns! I just hit the Omnitrix jackpot!" He rushes forward as Vela speaks out in worriment. "Wait! It could be a trap!" Ben grabs them all, only to his surprise as one of them forms into a red beam, that shoots out and the others barely duck out of the way as the laser blasts a source mark in the cave wall. They all frown at the kid hero. "It was Sam's fault! She didn't stop me quicker!" "Excuse me?!" Sam cries out at being thrown under the bus as Juno replies. "Let's… Just go. We need to find a way out." They walk off while Sam frowns at Ben as the boy notices the remaining tokens got into the watch, briefly showing Humungousaur, Swampfire, Water Hazard, and Shock Rock as he races to catch up.
The team of 6 eventually reaches a large chamber with a huge statue in the center. The statue is of a humanoid being that is tall and lanky while covered in a robe and has a human-like head and face with an elongated chin. "Well… this is interesting..." Vela comments as Juno asks. "What is that?" "That's the Krazoa. From what I know, they are the deities that are worshiped by this planet." Fox explains. They all then look around the large room, trying to figure out where to go next. Sam then spots something of interest as she calls out. "Over here! Look at this..." She runs her fingers on some writing on the wall as Fox taps on his PDA. "Fox here. Peppy, do you see this?"
A hologram of an elder rabbit with glasses shows up as it speaks. "Yes, Fox! I'm scanning the writing now and the computer says that this is the Language of the Krazoa. It says that this statue contains the passage to the palace of the Krazoa above, but only grants access to the wisdom of the beings who solve this riddle: 'The key is by your weapons' ancestors. But only by true sight! When uttered in a vow, it is considered a gesture polite.' Hope that helps you, Fox. Peppy out."
Fox shuts the hologram off as they all ponder the riddle as well and Sam asks Ben. "What do you suppose it means?" "Beats me!" Ben shrugs as he notices something near a pillar. "But I know what that is! Bet my new guy, Crashhopper can show Jet Force Gemini and Fox what I can do!" But just as he got near it, something massive swooped out of the shadows, making him leap back to dodge as the figure grabbed the others in its right hand. Ben glares up to see Mizar himself!
"Let them go, Mizar!" "Tell me more about this 'Upgrade icon' you seek child! Or your friends will pay with their lives." The Tyrant demands as Juno replies. "We will never speak, Mizar!" "Don't tell him a single word!" Fox cries out as Sam struggles. "He's right, Ben! We can't let Mizar loose in the real world! WOOHP won't be able to stop him!" The teen spy cries out as Mizar's interest peaks at the teen's words. "The real world? Soon to be another world I will rule with an iron fist!"
"No way!" Ben cries out. "But I'm going to show you a little something back home we call 'Sumo Slamming'!" He runs and slams his fist down on the icon, turning into Crashhopper. "Crashhopper style!" He leaps up, bounces off a pillar, and aims his head at the tyrant, who releases his hostages and dodges as the others do the same. The alien slams headfirst into the ground, making him pull his head out and groan. "Okay… Maybe that was a little too slamming." "I'll leave you to my minions as I search for the Upgrade Icon." He left as out of the shadows, were more Droids, showing up. "Time to exterminate these insects! Sam! Your Chain Gun!" Fox cries as he whips out his staff as did Team Gemini and charges at them.
Sam opens fire, using her new weapon's strength to tear apart the bug army as she moves between pillars to dodge fire. Crashhopper joins by using his powerful leaps, impact shockwaves, and leg smashes to take out more droids and smash through the robotic hover enemies. Lupus pouches on one bug and opens fire with his rocket weapon as he also grabs one bug's leg by his teeth and throws it into some others as he howls.
Juno kept moving and firing with his machine gun as he also went from pillar to pillar, taking cover as well as his laser bullets shredding the hover bots to pieces as his sister blew bugs up, left and right with her Tr-Rocket Launcher.
Fox unleashed a Super Ground Quake that blew all the drones around him away as he delivered some kicks and staff combos on a few more drones as well as using his Fire Blaster to blast more drones. Just then, he noticed a massive, red Droid with 2 large pincher arms glaring at the Vulpine. Fox charges with a cry as both enemies clash in a shower of sparks.
Meanwhile, back in the real world, Alex was upstairs as she called out. "Sammy? Ben? Are you 2 up here? Clover and I were going to order pizzas. You want any?" She then heard noises and went towards Ben's room, only to sigh out at the sight. "Why does Ben like making a mess of his room?" She groans out as she tosses a smelly sock away, only to notice the TV. "Didn't Mom and Dad keep telling him to turn the system off when he's done playing with his games?" Alex went over and reached out toward the systems, unaware of her other hand touching a button on an N64 controller.
Back inside, Sam blasts another Droid as she leaps on top of another and kicks off it, only to freeze in mid-air along with everything else, except for her mouth and eyes along with Crashhopper, who is double kicking 2 Droids in their chest next to her. "I can't move! What's going on?!" "Clover or Alex must be messing with the controls! If they shut the game off, they'll delete us along with the game! ALEX!" "CLOVER!" "DON'T SHUT US OFF!" They yelled out as loud as they could.
Their cries broke the focus of Alex as she was startled, only to recover as she gazes at the screen, only to be surprised at Sam and Crashhopper in it! " Sammy!? Ben?! Is that you 2?!" She noticed a headset and decided to plug it into the TV for communication. "Please tell me this is all a hidden camera show." She groans out in annoyance.
Nevertheless, she listens to their entire story as Crashhopper wraps it up. "So, now we need to find the Upgrade Icon that's hidden somewhere, so we can get out of this game!" "There must be something I can do… Maybe if I hit the reset button?" "NO!" They both cried as Sam explained. "We mean, just hit the resume option and don't touch anything else! Just leave the rest to the pros! And Ben." Crashhopper had a sour look in response. "Ohh... Very funny. Another burn." "Okay! Get ready!" The game resumed as the fight was on, once more!
Alex noticed the manuals for the 2 games as she read the titles. "'Jet Force Gemini'? 'Star Fox Adventures'?" Clover peeks in. "Hey! Found those 2?" "You are never going to believe this, Clover!" Alex spoke as she started reading the Jet Force manual.
Crashhopper smashed into the center of a group of Droids, blowing them away as Sam shoots down more as Team Gemini finishes off the last of the robots. Fox cries out as the staff emits energy in one end and thrusts it downward in mid-air as the Mega-Droid leaps up, only for the lead pilot to win the clash as the bug is sent crashing through the floor and into darkness. Fox lands outside the hole and stores his weapon away, smirking as he dusts his hands off. Crashhopper lands near him and the landing pushes Fox towards the hole as he flails his arms, but Sam grabs his tail and yanks back, pulling him to safety as they give sour looks at the alien as he responds. "Uhh… Oops?"
"Way to go, Ben! You almost got Fox killed!" Sam exclaims as the alien responds "Hey! I said sorry! It was an accident, okay?!" Juno spoke out. "Anyway, we still need to answer the riddle to get to the roof." Sam approached the statue as she pondered the riddle. "'The key is by your weapons' ancestors. But only by true sight! When uttered in a vow, it is considered a gesture polite.' My weapon's ancestors? But my weapon didn't have ancestors because it's an object. But true sight…. Unless…. That's it! My weapon is a gun. But before the gun, is the Bow! It's ancestor! And when Bow is uttered in a vow, it is known as, bow."
She bows politely as the Statue's eyes light up and a circle hatch opens in the ceiling while a stone elevator is summoned, making the group get on as it rises to the top. "Well done, Sam! Good work!" Vela grins out as Sam smiles while Lupus barks and licks her face as she giggles. "Oh, sure!" They glanced at an annoyed Crashhopper. "When I smash something, it's all silent stares. But when she smashes something, she's a hero!" Crashhopper complains as he glances away with crossed arms.
Nevertheless, they finally managed to reach the top, which is the roof of a huge palace on top of the mountain. The group stepped off the elevator as they noticed that it was underneath a similar statue, which was lowered back down, sealing it off. "Guess there's no going back..." Sam spoke out as rain poured down from the sky. Lightning flashed now and then while thunder booms in the skies. Fox then told the others to stay put as he ran off towards a hole in the ground and fell in as Sam and Vela searched the base of a large podium, gazing at some weird round plating with heads of the Krazoa on strange things that resembled pools of water while Juno and Lupas explores one of the holes that leads into the palace as Crashhopper were on top of the podium to see a large crystal, floating in the middle. As he examined it and the weird mechanism it was supporting, he noticed that there was someone in it!
The person is a humanoid vixen being that is colored blue and white and is 3 years younger than Fox. She has short blue hair that is held up with a silver headband. Her face is a short muzzle and has twitching fox ears on top of her head and a bushy tail. She is wearing an outfit that consists of a golden bra-like top and nothing but a small white loincloth. She also wore jewelry, including two bands on her tail, silver braces on her shoulders, arms, and legs, and white and golden sandals. She also sported a beaded tiara with a red gem on her head, and a necklace with a turquoise pendent. Ben knew who she was: Krystal of the Star Fox Universe. "Yep! That's Krystal, all right. And who needs Spirits when good old brute force can free her!" Crashhopper grins out as he leaps up and is about to drop-kick the crystal, only for a forcefield to knock the bug away as he crashes back.
"Stupid force field! Why do the bad guys like using them?" He groans out as he rubs his head in discomfort. Just then, a ghost shows up from below the crystal as it joins the other 4 flying around it. "Whoa! Are those ghosts?!" Sam asked out in surprise as Juno spoke out. "No! I think that's a Krazoa Spirit!" They noticed that they looked like Krazoa heads, with long tendrils extended from them as hair.
They both then heard a noise and looked over to see the gates in the small area were open, making them investigate it and spot a glowing teleport pad. "Hmm... Must be pretty important if this teleport pad was sealed off." Sam ponders out as Crashhopper steps on it, only to be teleported in a flash of light as Sam and Team Gemini are surprised. "Great... Hang on, Ben!" She cries as she disappears as well and the rest of Team Gemini follows.
Crashhopper stumbles as he recovers from the strange effects of teleporting as he steps off the pad. "I think I'll never get used to teleporting." "Yeah… Still, we need to talk to Jer about those, they are way better than sudden WOOHPING." Sam comments as she appears as well and the duo notices that they are in some sort of chamber with a square-shaped stage in the center of the room. And at the end is a large round mirror-like object that looks like waves of water.
Just as Crashhopper went in first, he was surprised when the gate shut behind him with a red glowing force field appearing over it, cutting him off from Sam. "Sam! Are you okay?" "I'm fine, Ben. But it looks like this Forcefield isn't going to let me in. See if you can find something in that room to shut it off." He nods as he leaps onto the stage, just as the rest of Team Gemini shows up as Sam explains what is going on. The alien hero slowly walks towards the center as he can't help but shake a feeling that something is off. "It's too quiet… Something's not right."
"I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU, SHAPESHIFTER!" A voice cries out as the alien gazes around, only to leap back in surprise as a figure lands in front of him with dark intentions. The being is a humanoid, dinosaur, standing at roughly Rath's height. He has green scales, a tyrannosaurus-like face with red and yellow eyes, an evil glint, and slitted pupils. He is wearing a red tunic with spiked shoulder armor and metallic gold patterned bet on his waist. He has knee pads with red clothes on his knees and calves and has a helmet with bull horns with a 3 clawed right hand. But the most unique feature is the double-hooked claw for the left hand.
"I was hoping Fox McCloud to show, but you and your little friend are just as annoying as well. I'll take care of them once I'm done with you, boy! Now you must face me, General Scales!" Crashhopper recovers as he glares out. "Look, lizard brain! I'm just trying to find the Upgrade Icon. But if I have to fight you, then very well!" The Tyrant grins out as he declares. "Very well! A duel to the death!" "Wait?! A duel to what?!" Crashhopper was sucker punched as he was sent near the edge as the teens watched. "Ohh… That's got to hurt." Sam comments as Vela nods with a grimace as Crashhopper leaps up and bounces off a wall and tries to headbutt Scales, only for him to swing his tail and knock him away. Just to be grabbed by the neck and pulled in. "That looks painful." Juno comments.
Fox then teleports in as he is surprised by their appearance. "Sam?! Guys? What are you doing in the Krazoa Shrine? I couldn't find you and Ben around the Podium." "Well, long story short: That!" Sam gestures to the fight as Fox comes over to get a better look. Fox then notices the fight as he cries out. "Scales! And Ben's fighting him?! Well… Is he trained well?" Fox asked out as Crashhopper answered, too busy to know who asked it as he struggled in an arm hold. "Yes!" He got punched in the face a few times as Sam cringed and answered with a straight face. "No."
"Then he shouldn't have faced General Scales on his own! What was he thinking!?" Juno exclaims as Sam explains. "Well… He does tend to act without thinking at times. And this is one of those times. Besides, the door came down before we could respond. Come on, Ben! Planet in the balance!"
Crashhopper narrowly dodges a double stomp as he leaps away, only to be surprised at how agile and fast his opponent is, not to mention strong as demonstrated by him cracking the solid stone stage when his fist hits the floor. Crashhopper leaps over, only to turn back into Ben as the boy leaps onto another ledge, away from Scales. Only for him to cry out as Scales leaps over and tries to impale him with his hooks, but barely misses as Ben stumbles back onto the arena.
Sam cries out while clapping her hands. "Come on, Ben! New alien! Turn into Humungousaur and smash this jerk!" "Is yelling and cheering all you are doing right now?" "You got a better idea on getting this forcefield and door open, fox boy!?" Sam frowns back at Fox as he rubs behind his head in realization. "Oh, yeah... Good point." "Well, it's not like we can blow it up or have Lupus chew through it. Darn forcefields." Vela pouts as Juno ponders out. "I wonder if Lupas can dig under, though?" Just then Fox glanced back at the fight and saw Ben had transformed, but was confused about what alien Ben turned into. "Wait! Why did Ben turn into a small frog?!"
"GAHHH! I swear I was going for Rath!" Grey Matter cries as he flails his arms while Scales holds him by his leg. Scales chuckles as he chucks him away, noticing Fox. "Ahhhhh… Fox McCloud! How pleasant of you and your friends to witness a demonstration of my soon-to-be victory over Dinosaur Planet! And this must be the infamous Jet Force Gemini I've heard about from Mizar. Not very impressive, if you ask me." "Well, we didn't ask you! No one did!" Vela pouts with crossed arms and a glare as Fox calls out. "Gloat all you want, Scales! But the Tribes will unite against you, and you'll be the one through! You'll never enslave anyone again!" "Come on, Ben! Let's see some hustle! New alien!" Sam cries out.
Shock Rock complies by lassoing the general and shocking him full of volts, making him cry in pain, but pushes through it and grabs the rope, swinging him around and knocking him down as he rushes at the alien. Shock Rock recovers and blocks his strikes, backing away as he quickly makes a force field to repel an aerial strike. He then charged at Scales and made a sword as the tyrant drew his own and clashed blades with him.
The 2 aliens sword fight as they trade strikes and blocks with each other. Shock Rock then made some energy punches and smacked Scales in the face a few times, only for Scales to grab his shoulders and throw him back. Scale leaps up to slash with his hooks, but Shock Rock makes a force field to bounce him off, making him tackle the general and unleash volts of electricity. But Scales powers through it and grabs the alien by his back, lifting him and slamming him on the ground, just as Shock Rock times out. "Not good!" Ben groans as Scales smirks evilly at the turn of events.
Scales then grabs the boy by his left arm, laughs loudly, and throws Ben into a pillar as he screams, making a dust cloud of rubble and smoke as the watchers gasp. "BEN!" Sam cries out in horror. "No one defeats General Scales!" He bellows, having believed that he won the fight and the control of the very planet. Ben, on the other hand, groans as he recovers, only to notice his Health Bar is in red by 5%. "Barely held on. But I need something that can match Lizard Lips!" He then noticed the Omnitrix was glowing yellow as it was spinning, making the boy grin as he recognized this feature of the Omnitrix: The Scan Mode!
Just then, the kid spots some colored, spinning gems nearby. Ben recognizes them as Health Pickups from Jet Force Gemini as he must have uncovered them when he crashed into the rocks. "Power-ups!" He grabs them and sees his Health Bar is restored to 90%. He then glanced at the last gem and his still recharging watch and got an idea. Grabbing the gem, he slams it on the watch and the Omnitrix absorbs the power-up, beeping green as it recharged it in an instant!
"HEY! SCALES!" Everyone else was shocked that he was okay as they gazed at the dust cloud as he walked out with a smirk. "I'm still in this fight! And guess what!?" He smirks as he twists the Omnitrix to a new icon and slaps down on it. FLASH The bright green flash of light was blinding for a brief moment. But when the transformed Ben is revealed, everyone is surprised. "WHAT?!" Scales below in shock.
Ben is now a copy of General Scales! Only he is a couple of inches shorter than him and doesn't have a helmet. His scale color is lighter green with blacker spots and stripes. Unlike Scales, this version has both real hands, that are covered by black with white cuffs fingerless gloves. He has white leg bands on the same area as Scales and his kneepads are black with a green outline and diamond-shaped. He is wearing black and green shorts with a green and white belt that sports a white square buckle. He has a white sleeveless tight shirt with a black vest over it. He has silver and white shoulder pads with green spikes and the Omnitrix on his chest as it is part of two green and black sashes worn across his chest. His emerald green with slitted pupils eyes narrowed as he spoke in a voice that sounded like it belonged to a lizard villain in an action cartoon. "My Omnitrix is recharged! And thanks to you, I got me a brand-new alien!" "A GENERAL SCALES TRANSFORMATION!" Sam bellows out in joy, remembering the Scan feature of the Omnitrix that Ben told her about one time as the others are amazed.
Scales growled out as his eyes twitched in anger as he charged, making Ben do the same as they slammed both their right fists against one another, causing a shockwave and blew Scales back a few feet, only for Ben to headbutt him in the stomach and tail smacks his face, leaving him vulnerable to a roundhouse kick as Sam exclaims. "Yes! Now it's a fair fight!" "Now this is getting interesting!" Fox smirks out with crossed arms. "Okay. I have to admit that is cool." Juno smirks out with crossed arms as Vela nods and pats Lupus.
Ben tries to scratch Scales with his claws, but he uses his hooks to clothesline him and send him down, only for Ben to leap forward, and tackle Scales as he flips over him as the General got up. Just then, as Ben prepared himself, he vanished out of nowhere as he spoke. "Sweet! Built-in camouflage!" Scales got knocked around a few times, only for his right hand to shoot out, and grabs Ben by his neck, holding it out as he reappears. Ben was able to kick away from him as Scales whips out his sword.
As Ben prepares himself, he feels something in his vest. He reaches in and pulls out a hi-tech, green, black, and white boomerang and gazes at it. "A boomerang? Couldn't give me a sword, Omnitrix?!" He then decides to throw it, only to miss Scales as he laughs at the throw, but unbeknownst to him the boomerang doubles back as it starts becoming covered in ice while it generates a frost aura.
Scales glanced back, just as the Ice-rang nails him at his side, making him hiss in pain as he noticed part of his body was frozen. The thing came back to Ben, who grinned at his new toy as he pulled out a second one and they both generated fire and lighting. "Now this is more like it!" He throws them both as they smack Scales, burning, and shocking him. Ben throws them both again while leaping up, making them covered in rock as they suddenly generate a green energy line between them, wrapping around Scales as the stones weigh him down. Ben smirks at his new form's weapons. "I can get used to this!"
"Elemental Boomerangs? Now that sounds quite handy." Fox comments as Sam fist pumps in victory. But General Scales broke free as Ben grabbed both boomerangs and they both generated green energy on the blades, turning them into dagger swords. "Now this is handy!" He throws a few practice swings and clashes blades with Scales, but the villain fights dirty as evidenced by smacking his tail in Ben's gut and elbowing his back. "I doubt Ben is going to last long!" Vela spoke out in worry. "You can't beat me! You're just a child!" Scales cries out.
Ben slides back as Scales keeps whaling on the hero as he blocks with his blade, making Ben kick him away as his weapons gain a long energy rope between them. Ben notices and holds it by the rope, turning the boomerangs into a kusarigama as he grins out. He then starts swinging it, whipping at Scales as the general barely blocks the blades as he is pushed back, making Ben wrap it around a nearby pillar that Scales was in the way of. "Don't mess with kids!" He cries as he yanks it with all his might. Scales notices and cries out as he is smashed, making the 5 watches with bated breath for a few minutes.
Just then, the cloud clears as Ben walks out with Scales lying on the ground in defeat, making the good Sharpclaw raise his boomerang in victory as the gates open, making them cheer as they rush up to him. "Ben! That was incredible!" "I admit, you did good, kid." "Nice work, Cadet Tennyson." "Way to go!" Lupas howls as he barks in excitement. Ben stuffs his weapon away. "Thanks! It was no problem! I could have had him handled longer for like... 5, 10 seconds tops." Sam chuckles as the new alien hero rubs his neck in response with a somewhat smile.
Just then, they heard Scales getting up as he glared at them. "I'm not… Done… With you…. Yet!" "Sheesh! This guy doesn't know when to quit, does he?" Ben comments. But as they all got ready for another fight… "STOP! Scales! You are no longer any use for me!" Everyone was startled by a strange voice that came out of nowhere! They glanced around, wondering who or what said that and where is he. Scales was angry at his revenge fight being interrupted as he waved his sword in the air. "WHO ARE YOU?! I demand you show yourself!"
"I am the one you brought to Krazoa Palace. Just as I was the one who lured Mizar to your planet, in the first place! The Earthwalkers can see me, but you could not." "I… Don't understand?" "No... I didn't think you would. Your desire for power has overwhelmed you and blinded you to the truth inside." Fox looks up in confusion as Ben scratches his head with a confused look while Team Gemini keeps looking around as they are not sure what to make of the voice. Sam was wondering as well with a hand on her chin as 3 Sharpclaws appeared behind their leader.
"Now, give Fox and the others what they seek. Give him the Final Krazoa Spirit!" Scales glares at Fox and Ben and spoke out. "You will regret this, McCloud. You too, Tennyson." He roars out as a Krazoa Spirit leaves his body and he collapses to the ground, not moving, much to their surprise. Fox walks forward as he gazes at the spirit. "So that's how Scales gave me a run for my money!" Ben spoke out as Juno nodded. "This explains how Scales became so powerful." "And how he was able to handle your other aliens. That Spirit must be enhancing him, this whole time!" Sam deduces from observing the energy being as it floats around "But still… That voice. Don't I know it from somewhere?" Fox mumbles out, just as the spirit shoots into him, making him float briefly before setting down, fist-pumping at gaining the last spirit as the others cheer as well.
The group teleports back to the roof, one by one as they all gathered themselves. "Well, that was quite the battle." Sam comments as she checks herself. "Yeah! And Scales is done! And the last Krazoa Spirit is saved!" Ben grins out. "I want to thank you guys for stopping Scales. I admit, I wasn't sure if I could take him." Ben grins out while flashing a 'v' sign at the alien Tod. "By the way. How long are you going to stay like that?" Juno ponders. "Until the Omnitrix times out." "And that's…." "About 10 or 15 mins. Give or take." Ben answers Vela and Juno.
Fox then heads towards one of the platings as the 2 follow, just as the vulpine knees as he struggles himself, thrusting his arms and chest out as he yells while the spirit leaves his body, entering the head as its eyes glow white. "Dude! You okay? Looks like it hurt." "Just some minor discomfort." Fox groans out to Ben as he stands up. But as the others noticed the last spirit was joining its brothers, something was wrong!
They glanced up as the machines started spinning faster as well and the spirits started getting closer and closer. "Something is wrong! That girl isn't being released!" Vela cries out as they quickly run up. "What's going on?! You said this would save her!" Fox cries out in worry and anger. Suddenly, one of them enters her body, making her spasmed as she grimaces in pain. "NOOO!" "She's getting hurt!" Sam cries out to Fox as she aims her Chain Gun, only for Fox to stop her. "No! You might hit her!" Ben cries out as Lupus whimpers. "Then, what do we do!?"
The rest of the spirits entered one by one, only for all of them to leave in a flash of light as they all shot upwards into the sky! Just then, the machines exploded as the girl fluttered her eyes open as the crystal shattered into pieces, making her fall as she screamed. Ben, thinking quickly, grabbed Fox and spoke. "GO LONG, FOX!" He chucks the Vulpine alien hard as he goes flying. He manages to grab the woman in a bridal style and slides to a stop at the edge.
The others sighed in relief as Ben smirked. "Got to love my throwing arms!" Fox sighs as he smiles at the woman, who is recovering as she notices what is happening. "Wha…. What happened?" "Are you okay, miss?" Fox asked as she set her on her feet. She was able to clear the cobwebs from her head as she noticed the stranger and spoke out. "It's you… You were in my dream. Who are you?" "I'm Fox. Fox McCloud."
"Why did you save me? I could have been evil!" "Well, you were in pain and were in trouble. I'm not one to turn down one in need. Besides, I don't think you're evil." Fox smiles at her as the woman is surprised at him, staring at his green eyes for a few minutes, and smiles, grateful at him for rescuing her from her life-draining prison. "Thank you. I'm Krystal. It's a pleasure to meet you, Fox McCloud." She smiles, making Fox blush as he gazes away. "Uhh… Just Fox."
Sam gushes out as she speaks out. "Aww... It's a shipping moment!" But Ben was grossed out. "Bleagh! Why is romance so barfy?" "Oh, hush! Can't you see it's a sweet moment?" Vela glees with clasped hands as Juno smirks at the 2 foxes as Krystal notices the others, but when her eyes land on Ben… "SCALES!" She cries out as she grabs Fox's staff and charges at the alien, tackling him, and putting him in a chokehold as he struggles. "Quick! Help me take him down!" She cries out as the others are shocked, but just then, Ben times out, making Krystal notice as Ben was able to escape the choke hold, but was still stuck.
Ben breathes as Krystal steps off and speaks out. "You're… A child?" "Yeah! And you're the crazy fox lady that tried to strangle me!" Ben rubs his neck as Krystal realizes. "OH! I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to! It was… Hey… How did you do that?" "It's complicated. But don't worry, we're all here to help you. I'm Sam. And that's Ben." Sam spoke out with a smile as she held out her hand, making Krystal hesitant for a bit, before shaking it.
Vela approaches as well. "I'm Vela, of Jet Force Gemini. This is my twin brother, Juno, and our dog, Lupus." Lupas barks as Juno shakes her hand with a smile as well. "It's a pleasure to meet you, all. I'm Krystal." She bows slightly.
Fox then spoke out. "Glade introductions and misunderstandings were cleared up, but what about my staff?" "You mean, my staff?" "Wait… You're the voice I first heard when I picked it up!" "Really? I didn't think the message would play for you." Krystal ponders as she gazes at her weapon.
Just then, Fox's computer went off as he answered it, making a hologram of Peppy show up. "Peppy. What is it?" "Fox. I have noticed that the Krazoa Spirits have left the planet and are now in a pyramid-shaped-floating fortress that is hovering in the planet's orbit. It was able to elude our radars for quite a while, hence we weren't able to detect it." "Mizar's palace." Jet Force Gemini and Ben and Sam spoke out as they glanced at each other.
"And I was able to recheck the manuscripts of Dinosaur Planet. The Spellstones are important, but they only stop the flow of magic energy from destroying the planet, even further. Only the Krazoa can restore the planet to normal. You must get these spirits back, Fox. Otherwise, the planet will be doomed! Peppy out." The Hologram shuts off as Fox speaks out. "Well, looks like the job isn't over. I might need some help on this. Think you guys are up for the task?" Ben and Sam smile as well. "No matter what comes our way, Fox! It's hero time!" "Count on us!" Team Gemini salutes as Juno speaks out. "I told you before Fox that we won't leave until Mizar pays for his crimes and we intend to finish the mission!" Fox nods in respect and response.
"Krystal?" They all gaze at the blue vixen as she puts some thought into it. After a bit, she smiled and spoke. "You don't need to convince me, because I'm all for saving this planet." The rest smiles and smirks in response. Ben then noticed Fox doesn't have a weapon anymore. "Uhh... Fox? What are you going to do, now that you don't have your staff? I mean, it's not like you can take on anyone now with just your hands." But just before anyone can reply to the question, they all noticed the mouth from the alter where Fox released the last spirit opens its mouth as a beam of light came out, making the group go to check up on it, only to get sucked into it!
The group of 7 arrived back at Thorntail Hollow. "Whoa... That was weird." "But useful!" Ben smirks at Sam. "Fox! Guys! You made it back!" Tricky cries out as he runs up to them. "Who's this?" Tricky asks at the sight of Krystal as Fox introduces one another. "Oh! Tricky, this is Krystal. She was one I helped by releasing the Krazoa Spirits. Krystal, this is the crown Prince of the Earthwalkers, Tricky." "It's a pleasure to meet you, your majesty." Krystal smiles and bows in response as Tricky replies. "Just call me Tricky."
"Well, glad introductions have been made. Now, how is Fox going to defend himself if he doesn't have a weapon?" Sam ponders out as Fox realizes that as well and is wondering that as well. Until he recalls the strange weapon he picked up in the caves as he took it out and to their surprise, it shifted and morph as it projected a light blue long blade made out of plasma energy. "Hey, that looks like a gunblade! It's a weapon that can not only act like a sharp melee weapon but can also fire as well. Give it a try." Sam suggests and Fox practices with his new weapon, highly impressed at the energy blade slicing through some rocks like they were nothing and how powerful the gun mode is. "Looks like I found my replacement weapon!" [I know the Gunblade is part of the Final Fantasy franchise. But I saw some fan art of Fox using one and thought it would be pretty cool here as well. But I also gave it a Sci-Fi makeover as well to keep with the theme of hi-tech space adventurers.]
Ben then whispers to Sam. "How do you know about this weapon, Sam?" The teen girl got nervous a bit as she answered. "Uhh... Internet?" "Okay!" Fox spoke out. "Now it's time to take on Dragon Rock, where the last Spellstone is!" Ben then spoke out to point something out. "But we need to find the GateKeeper first, or we'll never get to Dragon Rock. So, where could we find him?"
But the group heard a voice nearby. "You say you need to get to Dragon Rock?" They turned to their side and spotted a ThornTail that appeared nearby them. The ThornTail continued. "I too attempted to save our planet, but I failed!" Fox asked. "What happened?" "I led a group of dinosaurs against General Scales. He learned of our plan before we could act, and he launched a full-scale offensive against us." Krystal was shocked. "He knew what you were plotting?! But how could that be!?" "He must have an inside man to leak his info to him. It's a pretty effective way to figure out your enemies' secrets without them knowing." Sam ponders out as she recognizes her line of work, anywhere.
The ThornTail continued. "I don't know. But she is correct. Scales have ways of spying on us. We never stood a chance. He imprisoned three of my closest friends on Dragon Rock. And it is also where he has taken the SpellStone." Juno asks out. "So, how did you survive? If Scales let you go, it could only be because…" The ThornTail said, "I am the GateKeeper." The ThornTail then opened his mouth and a blue light started to glow in his mouth. Then that light left his mouth and shot its way into the sky. The group looked around them and saw that all the surrounding ThornTails were also emitting powerful energy from their mouths and all their energy combined opened a portal in the sky.
They saw the portal in the sky and knew they had a chance to get to Dragon Rock. The first ThornTail spoke to the group. "The gateway to Dragon Rock is now open. Please help my friends. They are on your side." "No worries! Besides, Scales is down for the count!" Ben grins out as Krystal is confused. "We'll explain on our way!" Vela responds as they make their way to the ships. Fox, Krystal, and Tricky climb into the Arwing while the others get into Team Gemin's Starship and they both take off into the portal.
In the vacuum of space, the 2 ships were flying away from the planet as Ben hollers. "YAAHHHH-OOOOHHHH! This is awesome!" Ben cries out as he enjoys the thrills of being a spaceship in space. Just then, the Arwing joins them as Fox's face appears on the communicators with Krystal peeking out from behind him. "This is Fox. Do you copy?" "Loud and clear!" Juno responds out.
"Okay! We need to go to Dragon Rock. That's where Scales hid the last Spellstone. After that, we can confront Mizar at his Palace. So, get ready because we're going to fight our way towards Dragon Rock. Follow my lead!" Fox cries as his Arwing takes off and the others follow. They were heading towards a debris field, along with floating mines and robot space fighters as Juno was able to weave around them. "Yeah! Now we're talking! Hang on!" He cries as he engages.
Some space fighters appeared, but Juno used the Starship's weapons and blasted the fighters into scrap. "Bullseye!" Juno grins out as He flies through the outside of a giant cylinder and blasts some mines and more fighters, being supported by the Arwing. They did have a few close calls with some huge asteroids and large rock walls, but they managed to make it through and spotted it! "There it is! Dragon Rock!" Krystal points out as Fox speaks out. "Let's take it in." And so, the team of 8 was about to arrive at their toughest level, ever: Dragon Rock!
But unbeknownst to them, Mizar is watching from a distance as he narrows his eyes, opens up his mechanical hand, and displays a hologram of someone. "Well? Any news?!" "Jet Force Gemini, McCloud, and those 2 unknown soldiers have managed to free the Cerinian girl as well. They are on their way to Dragon Rock." "Good... Drakor will burn them to ash! But just in case he fails, retreat to your palace! I will be there, soon." "Very well..." Mizar nods as the transmission shuts off. He gives one last glare and snarls at Jet Force Gemini and the Arwing, seeing they made it through the rocks and are touching down on Dragon Rock. "Soon, heroes... Soon." Mizar spoke as he went back to his palace, undetected.
The duo of ships settled down slowly in the middle of a fortress in the middle of a desolate wasteland. It has a huge wall surrounding it. A series of Hi-tech towers in various parts of the area, and 2 large metal buildings with a huge tower in the center. The groups all climbed out of the ships as they looked around. "So… this is Dragon Rock, huh?" Sam asked as both spies lifted their visors to glance around. "Nice place… Could use a ton of throw rugs and a massive paint job, though!" Ben comments out loud. "Jeeze... And I thought Tawfret was bad." Juno mumbles out as he studies the place.
"I don't like the looks of this place. It's… Creepy." Tricky spoke out as he glanced around in worriment. "So… where do we look first?" Krystal spoke as she took a meditative stance. "Let me help with that, Fox." She then started focusing as she spoke out. "There are 6 dinosaurs held captive here. And apparently, there are 3 of them in one of those 2 buildings." "Right. Tricky, stay with the ships. You'll be safe there." "Understood, Fox!" "Lupus, you guard the ships, and Tricky too! We'll let you if we need you, boy." Lupus barks at Vela's orders. Sam then spoke out as she held a fist out. "Okay! Rock-paper-scissors on who is going into the building that is the creepiest? One... Two..." Sam and Fox were getting ready to throw on 3.
Ben frowns as he glances at an embarrassed Sam. "Next time, I'm doing rock-paper-scissors, okay?!" "Right... Noted." Sam shyly responds in embarrassment at the thought of her losing to Fox, to which she and Ben get stuck with sneaking into the building that had more security than they thought.
Sam pokes her head around a corner of a large, metallic hallway. Moving forward while the coast is clear with Ben trailing behind her. "I think we should take a right turn, up ahead." "Yeah…. But my gut saying this way." "No… We're going right and that's final!" "All right! All right…" Ben grumbles out. "Sheesh… So cranky." "What was that?!" Sam glances back as Ben gets a surprised look. "OH! I said... I have a Hanky for some Chile Fries when we get back home!" He grins out with a sheepish tone. They then come across a large door and open it, only to encounter a bunch of Cyborg Droids as they open fire, making the 2 ducks behind some boxes as they return fire. "I told you we should have gone the other way!"
"Okay! My bad!" Sam cries out as Ben fires some grenades to give some breathing room. Sam leaps on the box and sprays her chain gun in a wide wave, mowing down more enemies. "Ben! Look out!" The boy quickly rolls away from a rocket blast. "I got these overgrown roaches!" He charges at them and slaps down on the Omnitrix, only to get smacked away as Ben crashes into some boxes, making him sit up as he notices his reflection. "Ohh… Water Hazard. First, Four Arms, and now Humungousaur? Why do you do this, Omnitrix?"
He then decides to roll with it as he propels himself high in the air and sprays down tons of water to flood the place as Sam climbs up a ladder, quickly. She then notices some loose wires with electricity sparking and gets an idea, carefully grabbing them and dropping them on the wet floor, setting off a chain reaction that shocks the cyborg bugs, overloading the metal on them until they explode. Both gave a high-five as they decided to look around the room. Sam opens a door and comes across a room full of monitors and panels. "Looks like the control room. Don't mind if I do!" She went snooping around as Water Hazard explores father down, taking care of any stray robot drones with his water blasts.
After timing out, he then comes across a huge hangar with some flying Gallons parked. "Whoa! Now I know this was not part of the original game! Still, I wonder where those dinosaurs are?" He then heard something coming from near the end of the Hanger, making him run towards the source as he noticed a cage bar door that is huge and something inside, whimpering. "Looks like I found them!" He grins out as he goes up and pushes a button on the side, opening the door.
"No need to thank me for rescuing you, guys! Just doing what any superhero would do. No problem!" Ben smirks with crossed arms, feeling proud of his accomplishment. As he closes his eyes, a thud gets his attention as he peeks open, only to be stunned by a large, 3-toed, and clawed foot that is connected to a muscular thigh that has a silver knee bracelet. Ben slowly looked up as he saw a RedEye, grinning down at him! "Uhh… Problem."
Sam is busy checking the computers as she gazes at the monitors that show a Thorntail and Lightfoot captive. "Guess those are 2 of the hostages. Let's see if I can release them..." She starts typing as she overrides the lock, that opens the doors to their cells, freeing them as Sam smiles. "All right! Got it!" She exits the room and rushes towards the free dinosaurs as she speaks out. "Are you 2, okay?" "Yeah… We're fine. Thanks to you." "Indeed. You managed to stop bugs and free us. You are not bad for an outsider." The Lightfoot spoke out. Sam then decides to escort the 2 out as she is sure Ben is fine.
The boy slowly backs up as the huge T-Rex slowly approaches him. As the boy braces himself for a big chomp… "THANKS!" The RedEye surprises the boy by speaking out and hugging him with his small, yet stronger than they look, arms. "Oh, thanks for getting me out of that cell! It was getting cramped in there." "Uhh…. I don't get it. Is this some sort of new attack where you squeeze me until my Health is depleted? Wait a second! You talk!?" "Oh!" The RedEye lets go as he looks sorry as Ben rubs his arms, making sure his ribs are where they are. "Sorry! Sorry… Didn't mean to. It's just… Well… you're the only nice person I've met in a long while. So, it's a bit of a new experience for me. And yeah... I can talk, pretty well actually!" The RedEye spoke as he tapped his claws together as Ben noticed that his color was different than the other RedEyes. He has Purple skin with a tan underbelly and white stripes and he has 3 fingers instead of 2 his arms are longer than the rest of his species and his eyes are white with a red pupil, that looks round instead of thin.
"Wait… Aren't you going to eat me?" "Oh, no! I don't do that stuff. You see, I'm different than the other members of my Tribe. I'm… It's embarrassing." "What?" Ben prods as the dinosaur looks away with a guilty look as it rubs its tail. "No, no. I can't." "Come on! Tell me. I'm different than most kids, too!" The dinosaur decided to get it out as he took a deep breath. "Okay…. I'm… I'm a pacifist." He peeks out as Ben briefly snickers before calming himself down and taking a calm breath to right himself. "That's it? That's your big secret?" "Yes! That's my secret! It's so embarrassing! I'm supposed to be a monster! But I'm a nice guy!" "Hey! Hey… Calm down… It's not that bad. I'm sure the others understand." The RedEye got a sad look as he glanced back in thought.
"They don't. I'm a RedEye, right? The RedEye tribe is supposed to be vicious, merciless, evil, sadistic, violent, stupid, and primal, right? But ever since I was hatched. I was… Different than the others. Smarter than the others. I never did want to harm the other dinosaurs just to fill my belly, so I hunted only bugs or fish. I prefer some intelligent things. But the other RedEyes, would pick on me, saying I'm not a true RedEye and just a freak. They called me 'Dull Tooth' because my teeth are a bit duller than the others and I don't eat the small weaklings. After I grew into an adult, I was able to escape the Walled City where most of my Tribe was imprisoned along with that awful king of ours. I went to live a quiet life out here in Dragon Rock. This place used to be nice until that horrible General Scales came and ruined it. When he captured me, he said that I was nothing but a shameful mistake to the Tribe and plans on getting rid of me for good."
"You're all alone out here? Don't you have a family?" Ben asked out in sympathy. "They left me, after realizing I'm nothing but a disgrace to the Tribe. And all the other dinosaurs would flee in terror before I say hello." Dull Tooth spoke out in sadness as he looked away, making Ben feel sorry for the giant, realizing that he is not a bad guy, he just looks like one. As he thought about it, this situation reminded him of his 1st encounters with Tetrax and Tempest Shadow. "You know…. I can be your friend!" "Really?! You mean it!?" "Yeah, dude! And now that I think about it, there might be a way to prove to everyone that you can be a good guy!" "Really? How?" Dull Tooth asked as Ben gestured to the ships.
"These ships belong to Scales, right? So, I say we wreck them so they can't be used. You're strong, right?" "Naturally." Ben then made the dino lower down as he climbed onto him, posting himself on the base of his neck. "Well, let's deal a blow to Scales and smash up his ships! Besides, you not hurting innocent dinosaurs, you're helping them. And if they see you stopping a bad guy like Scales, they'll realize that you're a nice guy too! Dinosaurs will like you and respect you." "Really?" Dull Tooth asked out. "Yeah… Besides, I don't see you as a 'Dull Tooth' I see you more as a... Chomper!" "Chomper... I like it! Thanks!" "By the way, the name's Ben!" The newly named Chomper grins as he takes a few steps and roars out, looking back at Ben. "Hang on Ben! We're going to do some real damage!" The boy grins as he holds on tight.
Back outside, Sam was able to get the 2 dinosaurs away to a safe place, along with a Hightop and an Earthwalker. She reunites with Fox, who notices he has a new outfit. "How did it go on your end?" "We managed to eliminate some more Sharpclaws and a few of Mizar's drones and managed to free the Earthwalker, to which we rode around and destroyed those pesky robot drones, and we helped free a Hi-Top. Unfortunately, my clothes got ruined during a few close calls with their lasers and grenades. Luckily, Jet Force Gemini and my team were able to help me."
The mercenary is now sporting a new sleeveless green jumpsuit with red stripes on the side of his legs. He has 2 white kneepads with black bands. He kept his boots, thigh pouch, backpack, and red scarf. His fingerless gloves are now black with dots on the knuckles as his gauntlets are still on him. His belt is now black with a gold upside-down triangle for the buckle. He now wears a hi-tech, white flight vest with a blue tech line on the collar and a red circle patch of his team's symbol on his right chest. He also has small silver shoulder pads with his team's symbol in red on the left pad. "Great! So... what about you and Krystal?" "Huh? What do you mean?" Fox wonders, only to see the coy expression on Sam's face as she makes a heart sign with some kissing sound. The Vulpine mercenary's eyes widened as he felt his cheeks turn red.
"What are you?! That's not!?" "Come on, McCloud!" Sam slaps the back of her hand on Fox's vest in response with an annoyed look. "I can tell that you like Krystal! Call it woman's intuition." "Well... Yeah... I mean she is beautiful! But I have just barely gotten to know her." "And she trusted you with her staff before and told you to be careful because she cares about you. If you want a shot at Krystal, try being honest and kind and yourself. Take it from a girl who has dating experience. Girls love guys who are gentlemen and honest." "Really? I guess..." Fox pondered out as he thought about it.
They then noticed Krystal was riding on a Cloudrunner as they landed near them and she dismounted. "Thanks, Kyte! I appreciate you for helping us." Krystal spoke in gratitude. "My pleasure, Krystal! I heard that you 3 seek the Spellstone that Scales have hidden, correct?" "Yeah! And you don't have to worry about Scales. He's gone. We managed to defeat him!" "Then, we are in great debt to you and your friends, Fox McCloud. All of us and Dinosaur Planet." The Earthwalker spoke out as he bowed, along with the others briefly.
But just then, some rock walls opened up around the place as they deployed 6 Hi-Tech tanks with some Droids driving as they headed towards the group while being protected by foot soldiers. "Uh-oh! Looks like these guys are bringing out the big guns! Guess they want us to stop from getting the Spellstone." Sam spoke out as they all brought out their weapons. Juno and Vela managed to reunite with them and noticed what was going on. "Brace yourselves, everyone! This is going to get rough!" Fox cries out as they prepare themselves for the tanks as they get closer and closer. "Get ready for battle, everyone!" Juno cries out. Just as it seems that they were cornered…
CRASH "YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWW!" Ben and Chomper busted through and leaped out of the gate next to the group, surprising them as the RedEye leaps through the air and smashed his feet on one of the tanks, sending it crashing into a wall and blew up. The tanks and bugs backed away as Chomper snorted out while his pupils silted and Ben smirked. "Looks like they started the party without us, Chomper! I'll provide cover fire; you focus on wrecking the tanks!" "You got it, pal!" "BEN!? IS THAT YOU?!" Sam calls out in shock. "Hi, guys! Check it out! I made a new friend! His name is Chomper!" "Oh! Hi there." The RedEye looked back and waved as the others were stunned at a talking, friendly RedEye. Most of them dropped their jaws at the same time.
Both Ben and Chomper notice the tanks and Ben cries out. "CHHHARRRGGGEEEEE!" Chomper roars out as he runs at them and his stomps cause tremors. Chomper head butts one into a wall, crushing it like a tan can, and whips another one flat with his tail. The 3 remaining Tanks then fire some missiles at the duo. "Ben! The missiles! Shoot them down!" Ben whips out his laser gun and starts firing, managing to nail them with his rabid fire spray. "Got them!" Just then, a cannonball nails Chomper. Then another, making him back off as he roars in pain, taking some damage but still standing as Ben cries out. "Are you okay?!"
"Yeah… I'm fine!" Chomper notices a tall rock and gets an idea, running towards it and kicking off it to soar through the air and smashing both feet on a tank, smashing it into a scrap pancake. Ben starts blasting away at the foot soldiers as the bugs shoot back, but their guns are no match for Chomper's thick skin. He then bites another in his jaws and chucks it at the last tank, blowing the 2 up as he chomps down on another tank and crunches it with his teeth, breaking it into scrap metal. The boy shoots the last bug apart, making them victorious! "Wicked awesome!" Ben cries out as he raises his weapon as Chomper roars in victory, posing against the sunset in glory.
The 2 got back to the others. "Ben! That was… The coolest thing ever! You rode a RedEye!" Sam exclaims as Ben speaks. "Yep! And his name is Chomper." "Yeah. It's so nice to meet new friendly faces. And to help them." The RedEye grins out a small smile as the Hi-Top thinks out. "A RedEye that is nice and doesn't eat others. Now there's something you don't see every day." Chomper got a bit of a guilty look at the judgmental glances as Krystal approached him, staring at the giant tyrannosaurs for a few minutes as she used her telepathy to check his mind, surprised at seeing more intelligence in him than an average RedEye and felt sympathetic on seeing how he was picked on for most of his life.
She then smiles. "If Ben says you're friendly, then I can trust you." She smiles as the others think about it and smiles as well. "Oh… That's so wonderful!" The kid smirks at the big dinosaur. "Told you these guys are cool if they get to know you, big guy!" "Thanks, Ben. Anyway, I heard you guys are looking for a Spellstone, right? I know where it is!" He points at the central tower. "Scales hidden it inside that tower! But be careful! There's a horrible creature called 'Drakor', guarding it. Nobody knows what it looks like, but it's rumored to be one of General Scales attempts to turn Dinosaurs into vicious monsters!" "Just what we need: Another freaky monster experiment." Vela sighs as she rolls her eyes in annoyance.
The group assures the dinosaurs that they will retrieve the Spellstone as they are helped up to the top of the tower by the dinosaurs, making their way onto an elevator that takes them down into the tower.
