Hello Diary, it's me again, and let me tell you some truth about what happened at the Raptor pen a few weeks before the Jurassic Park incident.
Muldoon wanted all of the best wranglers at the Raptor pen that day to check everything over for the new assets coming in that day.
Heard that day that a vehicle operated that went to Sorna today to help load up the truck with the Raptor and no one told him that InGen made dinosaurs because he opened up the create and the Raptor that wasn't sedated properly jumped out and killed him.
His name was Charles Jones and apparently, people in his department didn't know about dinosaurs. They eventually got the Raptor contained and Charles wasn't the only thing that they thought would kill in the next few days.
Upon the arrival of the raptor, everything seemed to be running smoothly until it was time to transfer the creature into its pen. As we were doing so, the container shook violently, causing a man - who appeared to be of Mexican descent - to fall onto the container. Although part of his body was inside the container, the majority of it was outside, leaving him in a precarious situation.
Without hesitation, Muldoon sprang into action to save him. However, due to the unexpected turn of events, we were all only armed with cattle prods and shockers at the time. Eventually, after someone managed to retrieve a tranquilizer gun, we were able to sedate the raptor. Unfortunately, by that point, it was too late for the poor man.
When you hear the story from the survivors of the Jurassic Park incident they leave out some parts that they weren't told. They were told as far as the raptor killing spree but nothing after that and they were originally told we only had 6 raptors in total but we had more.
The next day, 12 guards and I watched the raptors. Around 1 pm, something happened. It's kinda weird how this happened, but I remember it like it was yesterday.
I was sitting on a chair on the platform and looked at the clock, which read 12:59. I watched it until it turned 1, and as soon as it did, the "big one" is what we call that raptor, along with its 7 new followers, attacked and killed the eight other members of the pack. I know 15 raptors is a lot, but that's what we had, and then after that killing spree, they started attacking the fence.
When they started doing that we ran into a building and onto a balcony overlooking the pen and we started firing our tranquilizer guns into the pen blindly not knowing what we were hitting and after a minute we stopped all we heard nothing.
So we went down and opened the gate and all 12 of us went in assuming they were asleep, walking with both tranquilizer guns and real guns that could kill. But what we didn't realize for was that it was a trap, and we were in the middle of it.
We figured out we had only tranquilized two of the raptors before we were attacked. We got ambushed and lost two men instantly, so we started firing all around us. I was able to kill a raptor in the chaos.
Five minutes later another group of 15 men rushed in, which included Robert Muldoon and John Hammond's grandson Max Hammond and his best friend Nolan Parker. Heh I was surprised they let two 14 year olds in the fight but they did.
After 30 minutes we stopped shooting and it was dead quiet except for the moans and grunts of the injured.
Everyone walked out who could and helped the people who couldn't. Muldoon took a head count, and of the twenty-eight people who went in only 14 people came out, 9 were perfectly fine while there were 5 injured.
The 13 that were dead or were gonna die. Now 7 people died from raptors, 4 died from gun shot wounds in the fight and 2 died from injuries after the whole thing.
So we had two tranquilized raptors, including the only one we were able to tranquilize during the fight. Four more were killed during the fight. We cleaned up all the dead stuff and left.
I didn't quit after that but I transferred over to Sorna and I'm still there to this day. Well diary that's all the time for you today. Cya next time.
