Nebula frowned, as it was late-night and she could hear sounds of movement leaving her room and astounded finding a sleepwalkibg Rocket. He was wearing a bucket on his furry lil head like a helmet with a blanket aroubd hij like a cape and in his tail armohr trying not to laugh nnoticibg he'd been doing that recently not knowing why.
"Get away brain sucker, you won't take my brain." Rocket said after hitting her with an Nerf dart annoying her knowing now what the root of this came from gently tapping the toddler-raccoon's furry shoulder as it helped wake him up, making him embarrassed realising he'd been sleep walking again.
"You fired an Nerf blaster at me, thinking I was a brain sucker from that book Drax picked out." she told him softly hugging him.
Recently at storytime, it'd been Drax's turn to pick out a book for Groot to read them, but it had involved aliens called brain-suckers but it had secretly scared Rocket only he didn't want to admit he had been scared which was why he'd been sleep walking seeing Groot there sensing something was wrong as Nebula explained making Groot understand cuddling Rocket explaining it was okay to be scared but he needed sleep making Nebula agree.
"Yeah, I haven't been sleeping good, since you read that book." Rocket admitted sleepily following Nebula to her room
The next morning, Rocket was quiet and not full of energy just watching his sibs play making Ranger confused before heading tomthe community garden, not understanding why he was so exhausted and just was watching them play making Nebula smile as he was still tired but Drax was playing brain-sucker tag making a fearful expression cross his furry lil face at this game making Nebula place a hand on his shoulder.
"It's okay, you don't have to play as Drax is unaware that book scares you." she said softly to him, seeing hin go sit under a shady tree confusing the others as to why the toddler-raccoon wasn't playing with them as she explained to Gamora and Mantis making them understand hoping Drax wouldn't make fun of Rocket
