Mark (or D-91528-U as the foundation calls him) stirred awake to the sound of his bedside alarm ringing. He begrudgingly sat up and slam the alarm off. He had early testing today even though he had specifically requested not to, the foundation didn't really like to listen to the D-class, even ones like him.
D-91528-U isn't like the other D-class personnel that surrounds him, he works as a guinea pig of his own volition, for a large yearly salary of course, because of this fact he wasn't required to participate in tests that could truly risk his life. That doesn't mean that his position is great as he is still a D-class but the foundation does at least attempt to keep him alive.
Mark finally decided to rise off of his bed and turn to his lavish wardrobe, being a U-level D-class means that he didn't have to wear that bright orange jumpsuit that made him look like a convict, since well. He wasn't, but even with the opportunity to dress up like royalty from the medieval age or CEO of a high-class company, Mark chose a plain white T-shirt and blue jeans. Clearly, his sense of imagination is lacking.
Mark waited for the buzzer telling him that his room door was unlocked for the day, guards never bothered to come for him, they don't see him as a threat. Without an escort, Mark made his way to the cafeteria.
"breakfast is the most important meal of the day after all!" In a cheery mood. This is how Mark is most of the time though and today is no different. Surprisingly the food served at the foundation was quite palatable, breakfast consisted of fried eggs hashbrowns assuages, and pancakes.
Mark grabs himself a plate of food and takes a seat at the far end of the cafeteria and decided to review his plan for the day.
"Standard, standard… gross. OOOOOH" Mark shouted with excitement drawing the rest of the cafeteria's attention. "My bad guys," He said he hadn't even started his first test and already made himself look like an idiot. "Im setting records but it doesn't matter! I didn't even realize I had a test with 999 today!" He thought with excitement. Mark really likes 999 like most of the other personnel at the facility and it seems that 999 really likes him too. Like most of the other personnel at the facility.
"But still it's an opportunity to be celebrated!" Mark thought. Mark finished his breakfast with renewed vigor excited to make it to his afternoon test with 999.
"Whew, today sucked." Mark thought exiting his final testing chamber. At least before 999. "Man, at least it could take some of my fatigue away." Mike hopped already fighting the urge to slouch as he made his way back to his room to wait to be called to 999's containment chamber.
Mark walked down the pristine halls of sublevel 1 making an effort to stretch his body out as he could before a scientist ran into him.
"Woah sorry dude you alright?" He said instantly but the seemingly panicked scientist only sent him a glance before scurrying off. "Yeah been there pal," Mark said out loud. The foundation is an extremely stressful place to work even with the safer position Mark has, even still bad days happen, well worse ones than today at least.
Mark stepped back into his room at took a glance at his alarm clock. There was still a bit of time before his test with 999 Mark could have read a book or watched some Tv maybe even study to be something more than a well-cared-for guinea pig. But he decided to get a nap. Rest is important after all!
He woke up to a guard knocking on his door, how polite!
"Hold on I'm coming!" Mark shouted in haste tripping over himself trying to use his fingers to brush his long dark hair out of his eyes.
When he finally opened the door he met the guard with an excited but admittedly stupid smile on his face and Mark could only assume the guard was rolling his eyes underneath his visor.
"You ready for your testing Mark?" He asked with amusement in his tone. This guard has been with Mark since his first day at the foundation and they quickly hit it off getting to a first-name basis fairly quickly.
Well, at least the guard did.
Mark forgot his name. "He only told me it once and then I never heard it again it's not my fault!" Mark thought to himself.
The facility guard led Mark through the long winding facility halls that kept threatening to reflect the fluorescent lights above directly into his eyes. "I suppose when you have more Roombas than janitors the floors do stay extra shiny!"
They were almost to 999's containment chamber before the guard suddenly stopped seemingly talking on the radio.
Mark waited for him to finish since he is polite before attempting to inquire about the situation.
"Sorry man, they need me on ground level it's an all-hands-on-deck situation. You know the rest of the way to 999's cell right?" He said quickly already moving back the way we came from.
"Yeah man, I got it thanks for the escort!" Mark shouted back but with how far the guard had already traveled he doubted he heard him. "Huh, first those scientists now the guards? Cassie hasn't gone off so I suppose it can't be anything too serious." Mark thought out loud to himself.
Mark continued to walk down the pristine halls battling reflections on the way there until he reached the door to 999's cell. Mark knocked a couple of times on the door before it slid open with the classic sci-fi fizzing noise, but instead of a dangerous alien or time traveler, Mark's eyes were instead treated to a bouncing ball of orange slime. And of course some beady-eyed scientists in an observation window above them. Mark didn't know why they insisted on being up there. It has already been proven time and time again that 999 can't and more importantly wouldn't hurt them, they are only depriving themselves of the pleasure that 999 could give them.
A loudspeaker in the cell blared out above him; "D-91528-U please approach Scp-999," Mark obeyed meeting the creature halfway as it was already slithering toward him gurgling as it moved. When it got close enough It extended two tentacle-like limbs from its body to reach out and seemingly pet Mark's head, Mark wasn't going to let that slide though as he dodged the waving orange noodles and dove directly on top of 999's squishy slimy body almost immediately sinking into the warm and comfortable- softness it had. 999 has slowly but surely gotten bigger and now was just large enough to serve as Mark's personnel mobile bed. At least until 999's anomalous effects caught up with him and he started to giggle out loud which quickly turned into guttural laughing making 999 give out more cheerful chirps.
"D-91528 please get off of SCP-999 and give it the item that has been put on the table beside you." The loudspeaker spoke again. Mark glanced up to see that there is in fact now a bottle of what looked like blue raspberry soda on the table. "Am I blind or was that not there before?" The foundation works in mysterious ways so it should be expected. Mark sighs and attempts to move off of 999 to retrieve the soda like the good guinea pig he is.

The moment 999 sensed Mark shifting off of it created more pseudopods to strap Mark into his soft and slimy prison and sink Mark even deeper into its body. Mark couldn't really find the energy to try and escape between his fits of laughter as 999 seemingly cranked up the tickling and its other anomalous properties to the max.
"B-buddy y-HA HA HA HA-STOP PLEASE!" Mark shouted his laughing fit reignited to a new level. Scp-999 is known for its clingy and loving behavior but it's becoming more clear that 999 has a certain infatuation with Mark.
After what seemed like an eternity of struggling against 999 Mark was finally let go after 999 felt satisfied with its work making triumph gurgles and bouncing happily.
The loudspeaker spoke up again snapping Mark out of his dazed euphoric state- "D-91528-U please feed SCP-999 the item located on the table beside you." It repeated the same message.
"IM TRYING TO!" Mark made the mistake of shouting out in half-hearted frustration as 999 once again snatched him up in its slimy appendages pulling him back into the sticky hug he had just escaped from. "WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME-" Mark shouted out again before falling back into a laughing fit until a large BOOM shook the containment room loud enough to even shock 999 into lessening its grip on Mark just long enough for him to wiggle free.
"Guys, what was that?" Mark turned to look up at the scientists in the observation window but they were gone. "Whoa where the hell did they go so quickly? What's happening?" Soon after the familiar voice of the foundation's automated security system sounded out through the cell.
"ATTENTION ALL FOUNDATION PERSONNEL WE ARE EXPERIENCING A CODE BLUE SENERIO. PLEASE STAY HIDDEN AND AWAIT FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS. THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION."
"Whoa, what? Code blue? Why did they leave me alone in here!" Mark started to shout out to no one except possibly 999 who was still in the vicinity until the lights in the room completely shut off. "Ok, what the hell is going on!" Mark yelled out in a panic causing 999 to once again wrap him up but more gently this time, attempting to soothe him while it cooed to him. Mark allowed 999 to calm him down while trying to figure out how he was going to handle the situation. Cassie told personnel to stay hidden and wait for further instructions but Mark wasn't sure that was a good idea. "Maybe I could try to find a guard to extract me?" Mark thought to himself; "No that's not a good idea, they would shoot me on site for being a D-class out of containment. Maybe I should try to get back to my room. Staying here with 999 could also be a good idea. SHIT! Why didn't I pay more attention to those emergency instruction videos!"
A couple of seconds later red emergency lights flicker on signaling that the backup generators have kicked on. "Alright first things first," Mark thought sitting up "I need to find someone. The best chance I have is if I'm with some type of faculty." With a plan in mind, Mark stood up preparing to venture out into the facility.
"Stay here 999 I don't think it's safe for you. Or me to be honest." 999 chirped back him reaching out to likely wrap him back up in a protective hug, normally Mark would allow himself to be pulled back by 999 but now he had to make sure that he will survive whatever is happening outside. "You will be safe in here I promise little buddy," Mark said trying to reassure himself and the SCP at the same time.
Mark started to walk to the door but "WOAH!" He was quite literally snatched up and pulled directly back into 999's slime while it cooed but a little bit more infliction was put in it this time. "Buddy you have to let me go, I have to find us some help!" Mark said before falling right back into the same laughing fit he just got out of! "P-please buddy you gotta help me out here!" 999 seemed to have some sort of understanding that Mark intended to put himself in some sort of danger and likely thought keeping him here is for his benefit and attempted to communicate that by gurgling and vibrating wildly.
Mark continued to struggle against 999 in between his fits of laughter until he was able to get just enough wiggle room to escape and make his way to the door causing 999 to make the most panicked sound Mark has ever heard from it, almost making Mark rethink leaving the safety found in this room but he pressed on. "I promise I will be back for you buddy, trust me!" Mark said before stepping out and closing the door behind him sealing 999 safely inside.
Once Mark stepped out into the now dark hallways he was instantly treated to the sounds of gunfire, loud enough to make him want to turn right back around and hide inside with 999. Mark took a shaky breath until the sounds of the steady gunfire ceased and screams, and possibly moans? Were heard down the hallway he was facing. "What the hell is happening out here? This doesn't seem like any normal type of lockdown. It doesn't matter I can figure it out later, I need to find someone. Anyone," Mark thought to himself before heading down the hallway opposite where he heard the previous gunfire.
Mark moved slowly trying to be on the lookout for anything that could pop out of the many shadows in the darkened halls, the red emergency lights and continuous string of the alarm made for a very chilling atmosphere.
Mark continued down the halls with little sense of direction, even with the lights on without the signs on the walls to direct the average personnel where they needed to go, they would quickly find themselves lost. Unfortunately for Mark, the backup power generators didn't put any priority on navigation, so Mark didn't have much idea where he was going.
Mark was lost, carefully creeping around the foundation starting to realize that going out without an actual plan in an emergency is not the smartest thing he could do. Luckily for him, his luck looking up as he heard what sounded like human voices, and for the first time in a while, they weren't screaming. Mark was still too far away to decipher the words, but the tone sounded like they were holding a normal conversation.
Mark was extremely tempted to rush straight to the voices and just hope for the best, but he slowed himself down. "If these are faculty when they see a D-class running at them they will shoot on site! I must be calm in my approach" Mark resolved, so he continued to press closer to the voices he was hearing until he was close enough to make out the shadowy outline of a humanoid figure.
"Hello? Im Mark a class D, I need some help no one told me what was happening, and I don't know the safety protocols for a code blue." Mark started to say while raising his hands in what he thought to be a passive gesture. "Please I just want to know where everyone is, and those gunshots, are people dying?" Mark said as his panic finally started to show. Mark was normally a very level-headed man but situations like this force a little bit of fear into anyone.
"Oh," The figure started to speak stepping out under the buzzing florescent lights allowing Mark to see-
"Oh shit, you're not human!" Mark exclaimed ready to turn on his heel and flee at a moment's notice.
It giggled seemingly excited at Marks's reaction.
"Yes, your right I'm not a human like you. I am a grizzly bear my name is Vera." The monster spoke to him in a light and soft voice.
Now that Mark could see it in the light the entity did seem to have some features found on a grizzly bear like the brown fur and large paws, but it also had some unmistakable feminine features.
"HOLY SHIT THIS THING IS FUCKING STACKED," Mark thought to himself, and stacked it was with huge breasts easily double D's, and thick and soft-looking thighs yet still managing to have a slim and tight waist. Mark has never seen a more arousing being in his life it put all of the pornstars to shame easily.
It started to giggle again, and Mark realized he was staring.
"I see even the humans here are enchanted by a monster's charms~," It said to him stifling a laugh behind its paw. "At least the humans here seem much more willing to submit to the demon lord. All we want to do is make humans happy you know?"
"No, actually I don't know," Mark said bv himself once again. "Where is everybody? How did you even get in here?"
"Don't worry too much about those things cutie you will stress yourself out, come here and give me a nice tight hug. I promise it will make all your worries melt away~," It spread its arms out in a welcoming way tempting Mark to give in and embrace it.
Surprisingly Mark actually was considering diving into the monster's arms "Something off, I think I'm feeling lightheaded?"
"Aww, you don't look alright Mr. Human." It sighed, "I told you to stop thinking so much now you're all tired~, it's okay though you can come to rest with me!" It started to approach Mark, but he couldn't find it in himself to run away. Mark was drawn to the creature; his rational thought was fleeting and his body was heating up.
"OH! There's another one of you!" A new voice said, sounding almost like that of a cheerful schoolgirl before
SNAP
The bear crumpled to the floor.
"What-WHAT THE FUCK!" Mark thought quickly snapping himself out of whatever trance he was in only to almost immediately fall into another one.
Mark was face to face with a girl standing above the now slumped bear seemingly admiring its death.
The girl was wearing extremely strange clothing that really would pass any public decency laws, it was wearing an extremely skimpy bra that looked more like a strap pushing the girl's sizeable breasts together tightly and they were threatening to pop out at any second. She was also wearing a skirt but like the poor excuse of a bra was cut way too short and any little movement would cause it to hike up enough to flash anyone lucky enough to be looking in her direction. Surprisingly the most modest piece of clothing she had on was some beige-colored stockings with red trims but even still it only added to her erotic form as her thighs were spilling out the top of the stockings.
"Oh wait! You're a human aren't you!" She spoke up suddenly causing Mark to once again realize that he was starring.
"Yeah, I am." Mark paused, "Wait are you not?!" Mark asked the panic stirring in his heart suddenly refired.
"He-he~, aww you must be new huh?" The girl giggled out starting to sway in place while she seemingly analyzed Mark.
"I'm not new and that's beside the point!" Mark said trying to sound less scared than he was. Now that the girl was looking at him, he could see that even though her face was framed by medium-length hair in a similar color to that of her stockings, she had red and brown markings on her face. Like a rustic face paint.
"Who- no, What, the hell are you?" Mark asked.
BLINK
"WHAT THE SHIT!" Mark only had a second to think before two small hands covered his eyes.
"I was called scp-173 for a while, then they called me The Peanut." It laughed again. "But you? You can call me whatever you want~. We're gonna spend a long time together! I promise I'll show you a good time~," she said whispering directly into his ear causing Mark to tense.
"If I move this thing will definitely snap my neck! SHIT, I knew working here would get me killed eventually. And why is it by a hot anomaly too! That's just embarrassing!"
"I FOUND SOMEBODY!" Someone shouted to Mark's left but Mark couldn't turn to look because his eyes were still being covered.
"Aww~ you guys are such killjoys always ruining any fun I could have!" The monster spoke up again before whispering, "Gimme a moment cutie I kinda have to deal with them," Before Mark's eyes were finally uncovered just in time to see armed soldiers in green armor and gasmasks pointing rifles at him.
"WHOA, WHAT THE FUCK!" Mark exclaimed immediately throwing his hands in the air.
END CHAP
"SHIT WHERE DID IT GO?" One of them said immediately turning around and scanning the area.
"We all had eyes on how the fuck did it move?" Another said more panicked than the rest.
"Who the hell are these guys!? They don't have the SCP insignia on them, could they be a different task force?" Mark thought.
"Wait, you," A soldier said walking up to Mark still pointing his weapon at him.
"Hey, wait man," Mark pleaded already fearing the worst. "I don't know what's goin' on here but please don't kill me,"
"Relax," The soldier takes out an epi pen-like device out of one of his pouches and then proceeds to roughly jam it into Mark's arm.
"OW! WHAT THE FUCK MAN?"
"I said relax," Came the dry reply.
"RELAX? What was in that thing, man!?"
"It's a bit of morphine mixed with some other miracle drug meant to boost your stamina, we're going to get you out of here. Believe it or not, were the good guys."
Mark sighed. "I don't really get much of a choice plus I think these guys did save me from that weird girl before."
"Wait we can't leave without 999. He's harmless I swear he's the Joker blob you know him?"
"No, but I would like you to tell me about him, our mission target is rescuing this time, but we can always come back," The soldier said trying to reassure and placate Mark just as the foundation guards used to whenever Mark wanted to do something.
"No dude I promise you will regret it if we don't get 999 out now, I promise he is an asset!" Mark said again and it looked like the soldier was about to respond until.
"GUYS ITS BACK!" A shout from Marks left but before he could look,
BANG
He was blinded by a bright muzzle flash and a gunshot so loud it made him stumble back onto his behind.
"SHIT, What the hell?!" Mark tried to shout over the loud ringing in his ears, but it was drowned out by the now continuous sound of gunfire. Mark picked himself up enough to be able to look out at what was happening to see the same girl from before moving in a blur attacking the large group of soldiers from before.
Soldier after soldier dropped on the ground their gas mask cracked and their head twisted gruesomely around their bodies.
"FUCKING RUN YOU, IDIOT," A soldier shouted at him whilst continuing to fire at the blur of a woman.
Mark didn't hesitate, running for the nearest door before turning back to look at the scene.
"Shit, they're not going to make it! I have to do something but what?" Mark tried to rack his brain for an answer but between the gunshots screaming and overall terror, he felt he couldn't do much more than watch in horror. "Shit I'm useless! I'm sorry guys." Mark finally closed the door sealing the monster in with the soldiers. "Some of them will survive I'm sure." Mark tried to convince himself, but he didn't truly believe it.
"Well, what now?" Mark thought to himself walking around in the new area and away from the horror he saw before. "Dammnit, I gotta make it back to 999, just to make sure he's ok. Plus, I could really use one of his hugs right about now!" Mark realized suddenly picking up his pace to make it back to 999's lonely containment cell.
Mark stood outside of 999's cell trying to muster up the courage to walk inside. The journey back wasn't an easy one, he had to dodge the roaming unknown soldiers and various feminine-looking monsters that seemed to be looking specifically for men in the facility.
The things he saw, it wasn't what one would expect from a containment breach. There wasn't blood on the floor even though the echoing sounds of gunshots Were ever-present. There were bodies on the floors, but they weren't mauled or brutalized. Most of them were women in fact aside from the soldiers, Mark hasn't seen any men around. But their bodies were left in a strange state many covered in water and smelling of nothing but flowers and sex. It seems as if they have been raped, when Mark tried to wake up one of the bodies, he could tell it wasn't dead, but any attempt he made to wake them proved to be pointless. He didn't see any trace of obvious wounds or any sort of male fluids around them. It seemed as if they were in a comatose state.
Mark knew that if 999 sensed any trace of discomfort within Mark, he wouldn't allow him to leave the cell again, and maybe that was for the best, but Mark knew that he needed to escape or find someone who could truly help him.
After some deep breathing exercises, Mark finally opened the door to 999's now-darkened containment cell and stepped inside.
"Buddy? I'm back it's pretty rough out there but I made it back without a scratch!" That was only partly true but 999 didn't need all the details. Mark peered into the dark room and waited for the familiar sound of 999 slinking toward him likely to wrap him back up in a much-needed protective hug but, he heard nothing.
"Buddy? Are you alright?" Mark asked stepping further into the room. "Man, I really could use a flashlight right about now!"
"Mark?" A voice spoke out. Mark didn't know who or what the voice belonged to but he could tell it was coming from the darkness. It wasn't a menacing tone but the unexpectedness of the situation still made Mark stop immediately. His heart rate increasing rapidly. "Who in the fuck said that?" Mark took a step back very ready to run right back out the way he came.
"Why are you so afraid? I feel your fear from here. There is something wrong with me Mark. I feel different. The world feels different. So much fear and sadness, but at the same time happiness and lust. I don't know what do to. Mark, I think I might be sick Everything feels like it's changing." Now that Mark was really listening to the voice it sounded light and feminine (Like everything else in this cursed place). Cheerful even when describing its sufferings.
"Holy shit is that you" Mark wasn't graced with an answer however as an orange tentacle Reminiscent of the one 999 previously used to snatch Mark pulled him into the dark and onto the familiar orange slime, seeming to have gained even more mass in the time Mark was gone.
"Aww Mark~, why are you so scared? Here, let me cheer you up!" 999 gently wrapped a tentacle around Mark's body and pulled him deeper into its mass. It's a wonder he could breathe in these conditions.
"999 you can talk? Shit and you sound like a girl, sorry I guess I have been miss-gendering you for a while," Mark joked causing 999 to vibrate and coo happily. Mark was feeling all his previous fear and stress melt away like it was never there.
"It's ok Mark," He or She… it? Said to him. "Don't worry about things like that, besides soon I'll be able to be whatever you want me to be!"
What?
"What do you mean by that? Actually, what did you mean by anything you said? What's changing? Why do you think you're sick? And really have you always been able to talk?" Mark shot question after question to 999 who was still busing itself with petting his head with its slime.
"Don't worry! Your gonna stress yourself out again,"
"Am I really getting scolded by 999 of all people?"
"Look please just humor me?" Mark gave 999 his best attempts at puppy eyes before yawning. "Why am I getting sleepy? Is that something you can do now too?"
999 responded by chirping instead of words.
"I'm doing what I need to do to make sure you are safe and happy! But I suppose answering some of your questions will bring you some comfort. I could not always talk but I always understood your language, I don't know what's happening to me, but I think it feels good?" 999 laughed. "Honestly, it's hard to tell but it's making me stronger in a way. I can feel your emotions much better now, and my form is changing, I'm not just getting bigger, it is like my body wants to change itself completely. I know that sounds pretty scary, but it doesn't hurt or anything, it makes me feel good and gives me more ability to make humans happy!"
"But you don't know what it is?" Mark said flatly still with his face buried in slime.
"No, I don't. Buuuuut~ I'm sure it's not anything bad! As I said, it's making me stronger. That can only be a good thing, right? Aren't I supposed to be like a superweapon at some point?"
"What? Superweapon? Why would you think that?" Mark almost laughed at the idea of 999 being any sort of weapon, especially because of his contact with the anomaly in question, but he only feels relaxed.
"He-he~, some of the doctors have interesting intentions with me, I can tell they expect me to do something special! Maybe violent things, but still good things! Unlike the other friends locked up here. I don't really want to fight anyone, but if it makes them happy, I would do anything." It explained to a very dumbfounded Mark still petting his head.
"I wish I could stay right here forever,"
"You can! I don't know why you want to leave in the first place!"
Mark gave a muffled sigh.
"You know why I have to leave buddy. It's even more important now that we find someone who can help and make sure these changes won't hurt you in the long run."
999 didn't respond for a while opting to hug Mark tight and gurgle.
"fine," It said quietly. "I'll let you leave but if you don't come back soon I'm going to find you myself alright?" 999 said retracting the tentacles around Marks's body.
"Thank you buddy I promise I will be back soon." Mark gathered himself and prepared to leave the containment cell.
"Wait!" before Mark could turn around he was enveloped in one final hug. "Please be safe Mark."
"Jesus I feel like such a scumbag making 999 worry so much. I promise I'll make it up to you soon bud."
"I promise ill be alright," Mark said finally stepping out into the facility hallways before turning back to 999 and giving his best thumbs up. "I'll be right back!"
"SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT!"
Mark was not having a good time. A couple minutes earlier he was wandering around the facility as normal until he found himself inside what looked to be a medical wing.
"Gauze bandages med kits shit I hit the jackpot!" Mark was currently busying himself with raiding all of the cabinet's drawers and occasional fridge. Mark felt a little bad as he was practically no, he was stealing, but it's for a good purpose. If anything happened to 999 not only, would he be ripped about by every D-class, researcher, and anomaly within 100 miles, but he would also be exceptionally sad.
