Author's Note
And now the dance has come!
Izuku and his roommates had put on fancy clothes for the dance. Katsuki, however, was quite reluctant but put his fancy clothes on anyway since they were required to participate in the showcase. Yes, showcase. Not a tournament. I had it wrong.
Izuku wore a pale green suit with a red tie, red gloves, and red shoes. Ochako wore a black and white dress that left her shoulders uncovered, a long red skirt, pink fingerless gloves, and black boots. Katsuki had on a pale purple suit with a red tie, a white shirt in the suit, khakis, and black and white shoes. Ryuko had a black dress with red trims. Mako had on the same thing as Ochako, but hers was white and blue with yellow fingerless gloves and white shoes instead of black boots.
"It's been a while since we talked to each other…" Ochako pointed out. "I wonder who's gonna participate~?"
"Well, I've got safe bets on Team RWBY and us." Ryuko stated.
"Yeah. That's nine. Well, I suppose who's going to participate isn't exactly the correct question. Rather… How MANY are able to…"
"A lot of people from our schools are pumped about this and the Vytal Festival. Especially Bakugo." Mako said.
"I ain't dancing." Katsuki growled.
"She wasn't talking about dancing." Ryuko told him.
"GOOD."
The five make it to the dance. Yang had on a white dress, Blake had a short, purple, asymmetrical, halter neck dress that is split up the right side and has a black collar. Translucent black mesh covers her shoulders, decolletage and back, and decorative black swirls cover the left side of the dress and continue up the left strap. The outfit is completed with black pumps, and she wears a teal bow on her head as opposed to her usual black one.
Weiss had on a resplendent white gown inlaid with a pearl while Ruby had on, oddly enough, a black and crimson pinstripe suit. A green haired young lady had an olive-colored, halterneck, backless dress with a black sash around her waist, and matching heeled pumps. Mercury had a fancy black and gold suit. Jaune had a fancy suit of his own while Nora had a pink strapless dress with a white skirt. Notably, the seam joining the two sections tapers to a point, which gives the top part of her dress a resemblance to a pink heart-shape.
Ren had on a black suit with a dark red bow tie and light-gray vest. Meanwhile, Pyrrha wore a turtleneck sleeveless red dress with her back exposed.
As for some of the others…
Momo had on a red sleeveless dress. Simple enough. Noel was wearing a Gothic Lolita fashion with a frilly black gown and jacket, red ribbon bow tie, a red bat symbol design cross from the front to the back on her dress, another red cross on her shawl and bottom half, black pony heel boots with a red cross, and a red ribbon on her right ankle. Finally, Miu had on a dark blue dress with her midriff partially shown, like that of a belly dancer. She also has her hair in a ponytail.
"Wow~! You girls look so beautiful~!" Mako exclaimed happily.
"T-Thank you very much, Mako… I made this dress myself…" Momo timidly pushed her fingers together.
"With your Duelist- I mean Semblance or your hands?" Ryuko raised an eyebrow.
"Oh, don't you start!" Momo scowled.
"I'm sorry if my outfit is too fancy… I had to borrow this from a friend of mine…" Noel said. "She's a Pro Hero Duelist…"
"Oh, I'm familiar with the outfit. This must be from Ms. Rachel Alucard!" Izuku declared. "Like Shalltear, she uses a Vampire Deck. Anyway, about the outfit… I think it suits you."
"R-Really? O-Oh wow…" Noel blushed.
"You men and women of the hour don't look too bad yourself~" Miu said. "Though, your looks don't compare to mine~"
"Jesus, you're already gonna look down on us?" Ryuko grumbled.
"Hey, I didn't participate in this showcase just to LOOK good. Though, by the way those guys are looking at me, I look… JOHN CLAUDE VAN DAMNE FINE~~~" Miu purred as she struck a sexy pose, getting some of the men to cheer for her.
"Good god almighty…" Ryuko sighed, her face to her palm.
"You girls look so beautiful~!" Mako cheered before looking at Ruby. "Whoa… How come you're wearing that, Ruby?"
"Well… Weiss suggested this since I wanted something breathable and not have to deal with heels…" Ruby rubbed the back of her head before giggling nervously.
"Oh." Mako let out before blinking twice. "Well, it looks good on you, even though it's meant for guys~"
"Girls can wear guy stuff too, you know!" Ruby puffed her cheeks.
"Wait, really? I wonder…" Mako hummed, looking up and pondering.
Mako's Thought Bubble
Mako was imagining the girls in sharp outfits like tuxedos, suit and ties, pinstripes… and for some reason, Jaune in a dress.
Real World
"That last one is never gonna happen, Mako." Ryuko told Mako who waves the thought bubble away.
"Whoa! You knew what I was thinking, Ryuko!?" Mako gasped. "That's amazing~! Now I have a friend who lives inside AND outside my head~!"
"What do you mean inside your head?" Weiss asked.
HALLELUJAH
Cue: Mankanshoku Theater (Kill La Kill)
At the same time as the hallelujah, Mako entered a pose where she spread her legs and crossed her arms above her head. During her rant, she makes certain pictures/actions in accordance with what she says such as having a large strand of red hair when talking about Ryuko, playing rock paper scissors with herself and losing, et cetera.
"Before Ryuko came along, I had my parents, little brother Mataro Mankanshoku, and our pet dog Guts! And the only friends I had were the ones that lived inside my head!" Mako exclaimed.
Pause Song
"That's… depressing." Blake pointed out worriedly.
Resume Song
"And so I went to one of the schools in my continent! It was called Honnouji and it was linked to Cross Tag Duel Academy! In THAT academy, the only person Ryuko lost to was Bakugo, but she's still my friend, just like everyone else that I saw lost!" Mako declared.
End Song
"...Yeah, I have no clue what she's saying." Weiss lampshaded.
"What she's saying is that even though we've got different baggage, worries, and things we're embarrassed about, we're all still friends." Ryuko said with a smile. Mako nods, agreeing with her. The girls in the conversation smile too.
"Alright, everyone! Let's get this started!" A blond monkey faunus announced. "The lot of us? We're hunting duelists. Most of us are gonna go out and kick Grimm or crook butt. But there's also the option of hitting the Entertainment Duelist circuit, putting on shows and competing in tournaments to keep people's negativity down. Of course, since that crowd's started accepting hardlight dust constructs instead of stronger aura constructs, the SDC and Heartland Corporation have come up with some angles to spice things up for the audience."
He then snapped his fingers and the stage's hardlight projector flared to life, reflectors extending similar to a duel disk's field spell tech. The area contained by the dust barrier suddenly transformed Blake, Yang, Nora, and Ren raised up on elevated platforms. A rainbow trapeze jungle was formed out of candy-colored pillars, trampolines, and the kind of giant rings that acrobats leapt through. Throughout the entire new area, several cards floated in clear spheres of light, some listing about while others anchored in small crevices or nooks.
"Whoooaaa…!"
"Amazing…" Mako and Izuku let out respectively. Ryuko just lets out a whistle.
"This is like a circus… and that's alright with me~!" Cereza exclaimed happily, wearing a bright orange strapless low-cut mini-dress, with a band of cloth with an orange and black triangle pattern around her upper-arms, billowing cream sleeves and maroon appendages on the cuffs, and a black choker. She wears black thigh-length boots, with an orange diamond pattern along the length of each boot, that are pointed at the ends (similar to medieval crakows) and have a skull sitting on each bridge.
"I actually can't wait to duel here… It's actually exciting for my new deck." Chiaki said, wearing a red dress with pink straps.
"You got a new deck too? Let's partner up!" Cerebella offered.
"Yeah!" Chiaki accepted.
"Let's have some fun tonight, folks!" The monkey Faunus called, to rampant cheers from the crowd while Chiaki, Cereza, Izuku, and Ochako make their respective way to one of the two sides, Chiaki and Cereza on one side and Izuku and Ochako on the other. "The duelists will kick their way across the ground and fly across the air of this field with their monsters! Fix your eyes upon the newest evolution of Entertainment Dueling! Actiooon…!" He trailed before snapping his fingers again.
"DUEL!"

"This particular duel is called an Action Duel! Action cards are laid scattered across the dueling field! Both teams, in order to avoid as much damage as they can, may attempt to grab any of these cards they find! But they'll have to be careful! Some of those Action Cards are actually a trap and may put you in a bigger pinch!" The monkey faunus advised. "Otherwise, the standard Tag Duel rules apply!"
"Uraraka. You want to take the first turn after they go?" Izuku asked.
"Yeah! Let's do this, Dekiru~!" Ochako nodded.
Cue: The Seat of Power (Skullgirls)
"In that case, I'll make the first move! I'll start my turn by summoning one of my new monsters: Magnarokket Dragon!"
Chiaki summons a blue mechanical dragon that has a .44 magnum on its head.

"Open! Circuit that leads to hope! Summoning condition is one level 4 or lower Dragon type monster! Go! Magnarokket Dragon!"
Magnarokket Dragon turns into a violet spiral that surges into the arrow pointing left. "Link Summon! Link 1: Striker Dragon!"
Chiaki summons a different blue mechanical dragon.

"I'll activate the effect of Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring from my hand! By discarding this card, I can negate an effect that includes adding a card from your deck to your hand!" Ochako denied.
"Gh… Then I'll keep going. By banishing the Magnarokket Dragon I sent to the graveyard, I can Special Summon White Dragon Wyverbuster since Magnarokket Dragon was a DARK attribute monster!" Chiaki continued as she summoned a blue dragon with divine light.

"Open again! Circuit that leads to hope! Summoning conditions are two Dragon type monsters! Wyverbuster and Striker Dragon!"
At her call, the two dragons go to the bottom left and bottom right arrows. "Link Summon! Appear! Link 2: Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres!"
Chiaki summons the same cluster of spheres that Veyle used against Izuku when she was corrupted.

"Why'd she summon a monster that costs more than Striker Dragon, but has less Attack Points?" Yang asked.
"Watch and learn." Katsuki huffed.
"With that, I'll end my turn."
"My turn! Draw! By banishing a LIGHT or DARK monster from either graveyard, I can Special Summon Bystial Baldrake!" Ochako began as she summoned the same black dragon that Gundham used against Sora.

"Next, I'll summon Magician's Rod!"
Ochako summons the rod of the Dark Magician.

"When Normal Summoned, I get to add a Spell or Trap card that mentions Dark Magician! I'll add-"
"I'll activate the effect of my Heavenly Spheres! By tributing a monster from my hand or field, I can return one monster you control to your hand! I'll tribute Heavenly Spheres itself to return Baldrake to your hand!"
The dragon returns to Ochako's hand as the Heavenly Spheres disappear. "Now my Heavenly Spheres activate their second effect! If this card is tributed, I can Special Summon a Dragon type monster from my deck. However, its Attack and Defense Points become 0. I'll Special Summon Rokket Tracer!"
Chiaki summons a red mechanical dragon that looks like a rocket.

"Oh, okay then…I'll add Soul Servant! And then, I'll activate the Spell Triple Tactics Talent!" Ochako exclaimed as she revealed a Spell card that had the image of a black japanese fan with a golden kanji on it. The fan from the image appears and is caught by Ochako. "I can only activate this card when you activate a monster's effect on my turn! I get to choose one from three effects: I can either draw two cards, take control of one of your monsters until the End Phase, or look at your hand and shuffle one card in it to your deck! I'll choose to take control of your Rokket Tracer!"
"I'll chain my Rokket Tracer's effect! By destroying a card I control, I can Special Summon a Rokket monster from my deck! I'll destroy my Rokket Tracer to Special Summon Rokket Recharger!"
Chiaki's Rokket Tracer explodes before a red mechanical dragon with gold and green wings appears.

"Gah… In that case, I'll activate the Spell Soul Servant! This card allows me to place a card that mentions Dark Magician or Dark Magician Girl from my hand, deck, or graveyard to the top of my deck. I'll place Magician's Salvation to the top of my deck. And with that, I'll end my turn."
"Ochako's only got Magician's Rod, but that won't do her any good since Chiaki's not giving her an inch! Will Cereza break up this stalemate!?" The monkey Faunus asked.
"My turn! Draw!" Cereza grunted as she pulled a card from the top of her deck.
End Song and Cue: Swing! Pendulum of Souls (Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V)
"Using the Scale 1 Performapal Ladyange and the Scale 8 Performapal Gentrude, I'll set the Pendulum Scale!"
Cereza summons two monsters that were guided along two see-through pillars. One monster was a gentleman with devil wings while the other was a lady with angel wings. "With this, Chiaki and I can Pendulum Summon monsters with levels of 2 through 7!"
"Blake, you have these in your deck?" Yang asked Blake who shook her head.
"Wait, Pendulum monsters!?"
"I thought only Faunus used those!"
"Is she… secretly a Faunus!?"
"Can't be… I don't see a single animal bone in her body!" The crowd murmured among themselves.
"...I'm breaking free from you… Sorry, Vitale. Lorenzo. Dahlia." Cereza apologized quietly as the image of three sinister figures, two male and one female, appeared in her mind. "Chiaki, you good with me tributing your monster?"
"Mm. Go for it. I'm rooting for you!" Chiaki smiled.
"All right. Let's do this. I'm tributing Chiaki's Rokket Recharger to Tribute Summon Performapal Splashmammoth!"
Cereza makes Recharger disappear in favor of a wet mammoth carrying a ball on its trunk.

"Did she just say "Odd-Eyes"?"
"Was she the Odd-Eyed Bandit this whole time?"
"No, the Odd-Eyed Bandit was a Faunus working for the White Fang…" The crowd murmured amongst themselves again.
Blake looked on with wide, shaking eyes. Yang took notice right away.
"Swing… Pendulum of my soul! Paint an arc that changes hearts across the world! Pendulum Summon! Come on out! My monsters!" Cereza called as a portal is summoned between Gentrude and Ladyange before three energies appear, one red, two purple. "Level 4: Supreme King Dragon Darkwurm!"
Cereza summons a sinister looking four legged dragon.

Cereza summons a young lady in white and red with a silver rod that houses a red jewel.

"One, this could just be a coincidence…"
"Or two, she actually defeated the Odd-Eyed Bandit and took her cards as punishment!"
"Everyone! Please watch me and be amazed as I open the circuit of entertainment! The summoning conditions are two Pendulum Monsters! I'm sending Darkwurm and Nobledragon Magician to the Link Markers!" Cereza called. The two declared monsters are sent to the bottom left and bottom right Link Arrows. "Link Summon! Appear! Link 2: Heavymetalfoes Electrumite!"
Cereza summons a young woman in armor that looks very hot. The woman wields two sickles.

"And I'm just getting started! I'm activating Electrumite's second effect! Once per turn, by destroying one card I control, I can add a Pendulum monster from my face up Extra Deck to my hand! I'll destroy Performapal Gentrude to add Astrograph Sorcerer to my hand!"
Gentrude explodes spontaneously. "Next, Astrograph Sorcerer's effect goes off! Once per turn, if a card I control is destroyed, I can Special Summon him from my hand!"
Cereza summons a sorcerer that has the robes of a galaxy.

"Once I Special Summon him, I can choose a monster in the graveyard, Extra Deck, or a monster that was banished and destroyed this turn and add one monster with the same name as that monster from my deck to my hand! I'll add a second Performapal Gentrude from my deck to my hand! Next, Performapal Gentrude's monster effect! If this card is destroyed, I can place a Performapal Pendulum monster from my deck to the Pendulum Zone that it left! I'll place Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver to the Pendulum Zone, resetting the Pendulum Scale!"
Cereza summons a man with wavy blue flaming hair. "Though, since Dissolver's Pendulum Scale is four, this means we can only Pendulum Summon monsters with levels of 5 through 7. Finally, Electrumite's effect! If a card in my Pendulum Zone leaves the field, I get to draw one card!"
"Amazing… She's added a lot of cards to her hand this turn and summoned a few powerful monsters!" Izuku marveled.
"Oh, lovebirds~" Cereza called Ochako and Izuku, making them blush. "You should get ready… for a show stopper! I'm activating Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver's Pendulum effect! Once per turn, I can Fusion Summon a dragon type Fusion monster using monsters from my hand or field as Fusion Material!"
"No way!"
"A Fusion Summon WITHOUT Polymerization that ISN'T Contact Fusion!?"
"Unbelievable…!"
"Where do I get one of those…?" Ruby, Yang, Weiss, and Blake respectively gasped.
"I'm fusing Performapal Odd-Eyes Butler and Supreme King Gate Zero from my hand! Servant of the Performapals, combine with the gate of nothingness! Let the winds of change carry you to victory! Fusion Summon! Blow them away! Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon!"
A skinny man in a butler's outfit fuses with a gate shaped like a 0 before a green scaled dragon appears.

"When Vortex Dragon is Summoned, I can return one attack position monster you control to your hand! I'll return Magician's Rod to your hand!"
"I'm activating Bystial Baldrake's effect again since you control a monster in response to Vortex Dragon's effect!"
"To Special Summon it again, right? Well, not this time! I'm activating Vortex Dragon's other effect! Once per turn, when a Spell or Trap or another monster's effect activates, I can shuffle a Pendulum monster from my face up Extra Deck to my deck in order to negate the activation and destroy that card! I'll return Nobledragon Magician!"
"What!?" Ochako gasped. Bystial Baldrake is destroyed and sent from Ochako's hand to the graveyard while Magician's Rod returns to her hand. "Ah… Oh no… Dekiru, I…"
"You've still got that monster. This duel's not over yet!" Izuku assured her.
"We'll see about that! Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon attacks you directly! Phantasmal Wind Strike!" Cereza shouted as Vortex Dragon charged at the duo.
"I'm activating the effect of Kuriboh!" Ochako declared as she sent the monster to the graveyard before the puffball appeared and protected Ochako and Izuku from the attack. "By discarding this monster, I can protect Izuku and myself from Vortex Dragon's attack!"
"Astrograph Sorcerer, Performapal Splashmammoth, Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon and Heavymetalfoes Electrumite still attack you directly!"
Astrograph, Splashmammoth, Persona Dragon and Electrumite leap and damage the two with heavy slashes.

"The stalemate has been broken, folks! Izuku and Ochako are left with 600 Life Points and an empty field! Now what will Izuku show us!?" The monkey Faunus exclaimed excitedly.

Cue: Impossible Victory (Yu-Gi-Oh! GX)
"I'm activating the Spell card E - Emergency Call! This lets me add an Elemental Hero from my deck to my hand! I'm adding Elemental Hero Stratos!"
"I'll let you do that." Cereza allowed.
"I'll now activate the Spell Card Double Summon! This card allows me to Normal Summon twice! However, I can only have this effect once per turn."
"All right. Hit me." Cereza provoked.
"I'll first Normal Summon the monster I just added, Elemental Hero Stratos!"
Stratos, one of the favorites of Elemental Hero users, arrives.

"When successfully Normal Summoned, I can add another Elemental Hero monster from my deck to my hand. I'll add Elemental Hero Necroshade. Next, I'll Normal Summon Elemental Hero Blazeman!"

"Huh!?" Cereza huffed, confused about what he meant by that.
"This card was forged as a way to prevent my Fusion Summonings from BEING prevented. So get ready, Cereza! I'll chain the Quick-Play Spell card, Super Polymerization!" Izuku declared as he showed a Spell that featured the image of energy bursting powerfully.
"And what does THAT do!?" Cereza demanded an answer.
"By discarding a card, this card allows me to use monsters from both sides of the field and Fusion Material for a Fusion Summon!"
"And why would you think I'd let you do that?"
"You don't have a choice. Super Polymerization prevents both players from activating cards or effects in response to its own activation!"
"What!?" Cereza gasped.
"With the effect of Super Polymerization, I'll discard Elemental Hero Necroshade in order to fuse your Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon with Elemental Hero Blazeman!"
Blazeman leaps into the air while Vortex Dragon is sent towards it through the electrical ropes of Super Polymerization.
"Blazing hero, fuse with the dragon that creates tornadoes! Join together as one to create a hero of the blustering winds! Fusion Summon! Create winds of change! Elemental hero Great Tornado!"
An Elemental Hero with a cloak and orange and green clothes appears from a tornado.

"Great Tornado's effect! When this card is Fusion Summoned, the attack points of all monsters you currently control are cut in half!"
A weakening wind sets in as both Persona Dragon and Electrumite try to protect themselves.

"Of course! My turn! Draw! I'll first activate the Field Spell Boot Sector Launch!"
Chiaki summons a field that changes the entire room mechanically. "As long as this card's on the field, all Rokket monsters gain 300 Attack and Defense Points. Now I'll sacrifice both of my partner's weaker monsters to Tribute Summon Dragon Core Hexer!"
Chiaki makes Astrograph Sorcerer and Splashmammoth disappear before summoning a powerful woman in dragon-like armor.

"Now I'll use one of Boot Sector Launch's effects! Once per turn, if you control more monsters than my partner and I, I can Special Summon Rokket monsters with different names from my graveyard until we control as many monsters as you do! You control Elemental Heroes Stratos and Great Tornado while we only control Dragon Core Hexer. This means that I can Special Summon one Rokket monster. Come back! Rokket Recharger!"
Rokket Recharger returns to Chiaki's side of the field.

"Next, by banishing a LIGHT monster from my graveyard, I can Special Summon Black Dragon Collapserpent from my hand! I'll banish White Dragon Wyverbuster from my graveyard!"
Chiaki summons a dragon with black and orange scales.

"You're probably going to summon a really strong monster, but… I won't let you beat us with it that easily! I'm activating the trap Threatening Roar!"
Izuku reveals a trap that shows the image of a monster roaring threateningly. "This card skips your Battle Phase!"
"Good work, Dekiru! Now they won't beat us this turn~!" Ochako cheered.
"...You think so?" Chiaki suddenly asked, shocking the two. "Appear! Circuit that leads to hope! Summoning conditions are two or more monsters that are not tokens! Summon Sorceress and Rokket Recharger!"
The sorceress becomes three purple spirals while Recharger becomes a fourth purple spiral. The four spirals then surge into the left, right, down left, and down right arrows. "The untouchable future is twisting into knots we cannot unravel… Break free from the fates that bind us! LINK SUMMON! Appear! Link 4: AGAVE DRAGON!"
Chiaki summons a green dragon with multiple heads.

"Whoa…" The crowd let out, amazed.
"When this monster is Link Summoned, I can activate its effects depending on the monsters in the graveyard me and my partner have. If we have Dragon type monsters, you take 100 points of damage for each one!" Chiaki explained. "So far, I have two Rokket Tracers, two Rokket Rechargers, Hieratic Seal of the Heavenly Spheres, and Striker Dragon while my partner has Odd-Eyes Vortex Dragon! That's seven dragons in total! Therefore, you take 700 points of damage!"
"No way… They beat us…" Ochako gasped while Izuku saw something shining. Izuku then charged at it using his Duelist Powers. "Dekiru!?"
"Agave Dragon, activate your effect! Inflict 700 points of damage!" Chiaki commanded the dragon which had each of its heads gain glowing eyes before each one fired a beam while Izuku obtained a card with the letter A on the back of it.
"I'm activating the Action Spell Acceleration!" Izuku proclaimed as he showed a Spell that had the image of a person running at supersonic speeds. "This card turns all effect damage to 0!"
"What!?" Chiaki gasped before a barrier protected both Izuku and Ochako, nullifying the damage. "Gh… I end my turn…!"
"Dekiru… You saved us…!" Ochako marveled.
"Did you see how fast that guy ran?"
"I thought only our school had a speedster…" A few students murmured.
"This duel's far from over, Chiaki. Cereza." Izuku said to them as he walked back over to Ochako.
"All right then. Draw your last card, Uraraka! Put on a real show!" Cereza provoked. Ochako nods.
'Heart of the cards… Guide me and Izuku…' Ochako murmured in her thoughts, her fingers on the top card. "My turn! DRAW!"
Ochako rips the card from the top of her deck and looks at it.
End Song and Cue: A Battle That You Can't Lose (Yu-Gi-Oh! ARC-V)
"I'm activating the Field Spell Magician's Salvation!" Ochako exclaimed as she showed a Spell with the image of Dark Magician Girl saving Dark Magician from falling through a magical gate that led to a black hole. "When activated, I can set one Eternal Soul Trap card directly from my deck!" She declared as she did so. 'Hope this works…' She prayed. "I'll now activate the Spell Graceful Charity! This allows me to draw three cards and discard two!" She draws the top three cards then looks at them with wide eyes. She discards Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl. "I'll set the last card in my hand and end my turn!"
"My turn! Draw! I'm activating the Spell Card of Sanctity! This card lets all of us draw until we have six cards in our hand! Next, I'll activate the effect of Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon from my hand! By discarding this card and paying 500 Life Points, I get to add a level 8 or lower Dragon type Pendulum monster from my deck to my hand!" Cereza began her turn.
CHIAKI & CEREZA LP: 4900 - 500 = 4400
"I'll add Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon!" Cereza proclaimed as she did so. She then sees another shining card then leaps towards it, high into the air before swinging on a trapeze, jumping and getting the card, amazing the crowd. She looks at it. "Chiaki! You mind if I shuffle your card into my Extra Deck while shuffling the rest into my deck?" She asked from a distance.
"Sure, but… why?" Chiaki asked back.
"I've got an idea that involves a little… innovating~" Cereza smiled as she returned to Chiaki's side. "I'm activating the Action Spell Mad Hurricane!" She exclaimed, showing a Spell with the image of a crazy smile in the middle of a hurricane which starts billowing on the field. "This card shuffles every card on my side of the field to the deck, or in Agave Dragon's case, my Extra Deck!"
The monsters all disappear. "Now with the Scale 1 Performapal Odd-Eyes Seer and Scale 8 Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon, I will reset the Pendulum Scale!"
Two more monsters, one that's a more dark Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, and one that is a seer with heterochromatic eyes appear in transparent pillars. "Now I'll activate Seer's Pendulum effect! Once per turn, I can add one Performapal or Odd-Eyes monster from my graveyard to my hand. But if I do, I must destroy my Seer! I'll add Odd-Eyes Revolution Dragon to my hand!" Once she did, Performapal Odd-Eyes Seer exploded. "Next, Arc Pendulum Dragon's Pendulum effect! If an Odd-Eyes card I control is destroyed by a card effect or in battle, I can Special Summon an Odd-Eyes monster from my hand, deck, or Graveyard! I'll Special Summon a second Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon from my deck!"
Persona Dragon appears for the second time.

"Now I'll activate the Quick-Play Spell Spiral Flame Strike!" Cereza exclaimed, showing a Spell that featured Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon firing a laser from its mouth. "This card lets me activate one of two effects! I'll use its first effect: When I control an Odd-Eyes monster after activating this card, I can destroy one card on the field! I'll choose your middle set card!"
"I'm activating the effect of a second Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring from my hand!" Ochako denied.
"What!?"
"Correct me if I'm wrong, but Spiral Flame Strike's other effect allows you to add a level 7 Odd-Eyes monster from your deck or a level 7 Odd-Eyes Pendulum monster from your face-up Extra Deck to your hand, right? Well, because of that, I can negate your Spiral Flame Strike!" Ochako declared.
"Gaaah… I'll Normal Summon Performapal Skullcrobat Joker!"
Cereza summons a man that dresses up like an acrobatic joker.

Cereza continued as she showed a Spell with the image of a pendant drawing an arc across the sky. "This allows me to add one Pendulum monster with Pendulum in its name or one Pendulum Spell or Trap from my deck to my hand. I'll add Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer! Appear! Circuit of entertainment! Summoning conditions are two Effect monsters, including a Pendulum monster! I'll send Skullcrobat Joker and Persona Dragon to the Link Markers!"

With that settled, Chiaki and I can now Pendulum Summon monsters with levels of 1 through 7! Pendulum Summon! COME ON OUT, MY MONSTERS!" Cereza shouted with feeling as five energies, four of which were purple and one of which was orange, appeared from another portal made from the Gate and Dragon. "Let's start with my Extra Deck! Level 6: Performapal Odd-Eyes Seer!"

"Gr…!"
"Calm down, Cereza. Those two cards are important. If we keep targeting them, she'll run out of cards eventually." Chiaki assured Cereza.
"Yeah, but those were the only destruction effects I've got…!" Cereza grumbled. "...Looks like I've got no choice. I've gotta trip her traps." She grunted. "First, Pendulum Sorcerer's effect! Once per turn, when he's Special Summoned, I can target up to two cards I control and destroy them. And if I do, I can add Performapal monsters with different names from my deck to my hand equal to the number of cards I destroyed. I'll use his effect to destroy Odd-Eyes Arc Pendulum Dragon to add Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver from my deck to my hand!"
Odd-Eyes explodes. "Now I'll reset the Pendulum Scale using my currently set Supreme King Gate Zero and Performapal Odd-Eyes Dissolver! With this, my partner and I can now Pendulum Summon monsters with levels of 1 through 3!"
"But that's not all you can do, is it?" Ochako grimaced. "When you place Odd-Eyes Dissolver, I'm activating the Continuous Trap Eternal Soul! This allows me to Special Summon, from my hand or graveyard, Dark Magician!"
The Dark Magician returns in his magical glory.

"I'll chain Black Illusion!" Ochako exclaimed, showing a trap that has the image of the Dark Magician's staff behind two letters, D and M. "This card prevents all DARK Spellcaster type monsters with 2000 or more Attack Points from being destroyed in battle and they are unaffected by my opponent's card effects! The price for that is that I have to negate their effects. Not that it's much of a problem~"
"Tch… In that case, I'll use Dissolver's Pendulum Effect on two monsters in my field! By banishing Odd-Eyes Seer and Supreme King Gate Infinity, I can Fusion Summon! Seer of heterochromatic eyes, fuse with the gate that leads towards infinity! In just a moment's time, everything will be yours!" Cereza chanted as she fused both Seer and Infinity. "FUSION SUMMON! Appear! Poisonous dragon with hungry fangs: STARVING VENOM FUSION DRAGON!"
Cereza summons a large dragon that is purple and a pale and dark green with spheres of light all over its body glowing in either red or yellow energy. The dragon roars as it appears.

"S-Sis? Isn't that… YOUR monster?" Yang asked.
"Yeah, but it's right here in my deck… So… I guess… that's how I summon it…?" Ruby hummed.
"But wait! There's more! I'll now tune level 2 Performapal Odd-Eyes Synchron with level 5 Odd-Eyes Persona Dragon!" Cereza continued.
"That thing's a TUNER MONSTER~!?" Ruby and Yang exclaimed excitedly as Odd-Eyes Synchron and Persona Dragon leaped into the air, the Synchron turning into two green rings and the dragon turning into five motes of light.
"Spread those wondrous and beautiful wings, and strike down your enemies at the speed of light! SYNCHRO SUMMON! Appear now! Level 7: CLEAR WING SYNCHRO DRAGON!"
A white, blue, black, and green scaled dragon appears with yellow glowing eyes.

"You've given me a good opportunity. This could be our chance to turn things around right now!" Izuku declared. "My turn! DRAW!"

Cue: Jaden Victory Theme (Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Links)
"First, I'll activate the Quick-Play Spell Mask Change II!" Izuku exclaimed as he showed a Spell with the image of a man surrounded by masks. "By discarding a card, I get to choose one monster on my partner and I's side of the field! I'll discard Elemental Hero Avian. After that, the monster on the field that I choose is sent to the graveyard then I get to Special Summon a Masked Hero Fusion monster with a level higher than that monster's but with the same attribute! I'll use Uraraka's Dark Magician Girl!"
The Dark Magician Girl leaps into the air as a familiar mask falls to her hands. She puts it on. "The girl of magic sinks into the darkness, but from that darkness rises another hero! That hero will give villains a taste of their own medicine! MASK CHANGE! You are no longer Dark Magician Girl! You are now… MASKED HERO ANKI!"

"Clear Wing has an effect that nullifies another level 5 or higher monster's effect and destroys it. That'll be a problem. For now, though, I'm activating the Spell card Double Attack!" Izuku proclaimed as he showed a Spell that features a swordsman cutting down a wooden monster twice. "By discarding a monster with a higher level than one of my monsters, the monster I targeted can attack twice this turn! I'm choosing Uraraka's Dark Magician."
"Huh? MY monster?" Ochako asked.
"Yes. And by discarding the level 10 Yubel from my hand, the level 7 Dark Magician gets to attack twice! But in order for him to do that, I'll have to switch him to Attack Position!"

"You wanna do the honors, Uraraka?" Izuku asked his partner.
"Sure~!" Ochako nodded. Cereza looked around for Action Cards. "Dark Magician attacks Performapal Pendulum Sorcerer and Beyond the Pendulum! Double Dark Magic Attack!"
The Dark Magician thrusts his palm towards the two monsters, surrounding them with dark energy before they explode.

"Uraraka gave it to me while you were looking for your own Action Card. Sorry." Izuku apologized. "With the effect of Burning Barrel, when Anki destroys your monster, you take damage equal to half that monster's Attack Points!"
Anki dive kicks into Clear Wing, making it explode.

"Yeah… I'm glad I managed to pull through and give you that Action Card at the last second!" Ochako nodded.
"I'm sorry, Uraraka." Izuku apologized, confusing Ochako. "I kinda forgot that this was an Action Duel, not a regular Duel… If I remembered sooner, it probably wouldn't have been as close as it was…"
"Oh, that's okay, Dekiru. If it weren't for the Action Card you played, we would've lost BECAUSE we forgot it was an Action Duel." Ochako stated to him.
"Geez. You two are just trying to out-humble each other, aren't you? Just take the W already." Cereza said to them, smiling.
"You two were amazing. I can't believe Cereza and I forgot that this was an Action Duel too. You've got a good memory, Izuku." Chiaki complimented Izuku.
"T-Thank you, Chiaki." Izuku accepted. "Honestly, these Action Duels feel like constant cheating… Maybe that's why I forgot I was in the middle of one…"
"Well, it was still a good Duel." Chiaki smiled.
"Your new decks were amazing! I'm gonna have a hard time finding some counters to your plays!" Izuku exclaimed.
"Well, I'll be sure to find some counters for THOSE counters and win next time!" Cereza declared.
"I won't make it easy!" Izuku replied. "Oh! I almost forgot!" He realized, confusing the three before Izuku puts two fingers to his forehead and then points them at Cereza and Chiaki. "Gotcha! That was a fun Duel~!"
"Heh. I THOUGHT something was missing~!" Cereza chuckled.
"Yeah. Let's go again sometime~!" Chiaki nodded.
"You're on~!"
