"I should have known…" To think of all the times he tried to akumatizate her. The "luck" she had of defeating him. "Luck is not going to help you this time. It's on my side now."

"You make what you do…" Bug Noire replied confidently. "And sometimes luck has nothing to do with it."

This just turned into the battle of a lifetime.

Now…Bug Noire will not only have to stop Monarch from getting her hands on both Miraculous to stop him from corrupting the world's imbalance but to finally free Adrien from his father's trying control. And Monarch…he just needed to possess the two coveted jewels to make his wish come true.

It was now or never.

"AHHH….!"

Bug Noire gave Monarch a taste to the face with her extended staff, knocking him against the kitchen appliances.

"Ugh!"

When he charged at her, Bug Noire threw her yo-yo in the air, creating a Lucky Charm, and a red-and-black piano fell on top of him.

It was actually kinda funny…

The Resistance took on a group of Miraculized near the Métro and more that came out of nowhere.

When Nino saw two starting to charge towards him, he held his hand out. A small green laser blast struck out, hitting two Miraculized, and their rings burst, turning them back into themselves. And targeted another two; the same results happened.

"Whoa! So awesome! Be better if I had a shield…"

"Armor Shelter power activated…" said an automatic voice. Nino was now protected by a green protective barrier but could still use his powers within it.

"AWE-SOME!"

Alya swiftly avoided being hit by a Miraculized's Venom power. She pressed a button on her suit, and two orange laser blasters appeared on her wrists. She used them to zip the Alliance rings off by force, allowing her to smash them with the heel of her foot.

Jabari, Kasmin, Max, and Kim took on six Miraculized before defeating them; Jabari and Kasmin rendered four of them unconscious by hitting their pressure points, ripped the rings off from their fingers, and smashed them.

"Whoa!" Kim was impressed with Jabari and Kasmin's fighting skills. "You gotta teach me that."

He and Max took on the last two and their rings off and crushed them.

Jabari kickboxed with a Miraculized until taking their ring off and destroying it. "Maybe when this is all over…"

"Kiya! Siya!" Kasmin boxed two at once and grappled them unconscious before removing their rings. And took on another two, quickly disarming them.

Tomoe scoffed at the United Heroez, such as Majestia, Eagle, Victory, Uncanny Valley, Hot Dog Dan, and Doorman fighting off the Miraculized in New York City. "Do they really think they could stop us?"

A Miraculized used Clout on Knightowl, delivering a heavy punch to the air and Majestia being affected by the effects of the dust.

"I don't think so…"

Little did she know a small group of someone was watching her…

Using the suit's multipower modes of invisibility cloaking, stealth, intangibility, and X-ray vision, Aisha, Ziddy, Ekon, Abdou, Uche, Félix, and Kagami were able to see Tomoe monitoring the world's usage of the Alliance rings and the turmoil happening.

And she was all alone.

Ekon smiled to himself. "I'm in."

"Good…" said Abdou while Uche took the time to analyze its data.

"I want this one with her…" Kagami wanted this chance to take on her mother despite knowing her mother's prowess over her own.

Aisha was cool with Kagami taking on her mother. "Understandable."

"But be careful…" Félix and Kagami had a kiss.

Ekon continued tapping his fingers on the virtual holographic keyboard and strolled through the Alliance systems when a thought came to Kagami. "How about we give my mother a little surprise first?"

Aisha, Ziddy, Ekon, Abdou, and Félix smirked smugly.

The United Heroez and Resistance weren't the only ones fighting against the Miraculized.

"Where are you keeping Adrien and Kagami?" A Miraculized flipped a table.

Another Miraculized began throwing things. "Where are Ladybug and Cat Noir?"

"Back off!" Wang Cheng fought against them, using his martial arts skills and a cooking wok. "Get out of my restaurant!"

Fei used some of the Kung Fu training she learned from her late adoptive father, Wu Shifu, to fight off as much as she could before she quickly began subduing to the effects of the Nightormentor's dust.

"Ah!" She clutched her head and was on her knees now. "Eh…I'm not worthy of the Prodigious."

The Renlings surrounded her. "No, you mustn't give in, Renren…it was just a nightmare…"

"You have to resist!"

"You can do it!"

"You are worthy!"

Fei hissed sharply. "I don't think I can! Ugh…uhh…"

"No…" she heard Wang from the other side. "Not my restaurant as a fast-food outlet…"

Fei bolted her eyes shut, trying to resist the effects. "Ahh-ahh…I…I won't!" She extracted her Alliance ring and smashed it with the heel of her boots. Soon, she transformed into Lady Monkey, one of her many powers as Lady Dragon. "I won't give in! I am worthy!"

Now, she was determined to get those Alliance rings off the innocent civilians infested by them.

Aisha wasn't the only one recruiting familiar faces to fight in Paris.

"That's for my Teddy Bear!" Myléne wasn't having any of it with any Miraculized and struck one out. "Ehh!"

"Ugh!" Ivan punched out two of them and took off their Alliance rings. "Take that, bozos!"

Zoé, Nathaniel, and Marc played their part.

Marc got hit with a Miraculized's Venom, but it turned out to be one of his three clones. And the suit's kinetic energy absorbing ability, in this case, canceled out the effects. Nathaniel used the chance to pull the Alliance ring off and wasted it. A quick group hug happened.

Even when Zoé got knocked by a Miraculized's Clout, sending her up in the air, she got her balance with the suit's flight ability. She banged that Miraculized sky-high right back and with much more brutal force.

Rose and Juleka fought against four of them. Juleka fell on the ground, and one of them was about to Venom her.

"Jule!" Rose worried for her girl.

A familiar face saved her in the nick of time.

"Luka!"

Luka—along with his father, Jagged Stone, his girlfriend Penny Rollings, Fang, and Su-Han from the Order of the Guardians—saved her and took them, resulting in their Alliance rings getting destroyed and the brainwashed Miraculized turned back into everyday day citizens.

He embraced his twin sister. "Great seeing you again, twinsie…"

Penny took two Miraculizeds' rings off and crushed them.

"Where'd you get the attire, Jule?" Jagged Stone asked. "It's totally rockin'!"

Su-Han fought against two of them and yanked their rings off. "Family reunion's gonna have to wait."

"I'll explain later."

Jagger Stone thumbs-up. "Right!"

While Ekon, Abdou, and even Uche took care of the Alliance systems, Aisha, Ziddy, and Félix decided to make their presence known for the Miraculized delusionally lurking for Adrien and Kagami.

Tomoe continued to coolly supervise the world's events from the Alliance rings when she thought she heard something; her blindness heightened her senses.

"What was that?" She snapped her head. She lowered her eyebrows and went back to observing.

The screens randomly changed to a black one, confusing the Tsurugi elder. "What th…?"

"Shalom," said the voice on the screen before it showed Adrien and Kagami's empty white London rooms. "Escaped again…escaped again…"

"WHAT THE…?!"

Before she could get Gabriel or anyone else on the line, out of nowhere for her, she felt a hard deck in the face, resulting in her being pushed against the wall.

"Oof!"

Tomoe clutched her head with her free hand, using her bokken to get up steadily.

"Hello again, Mother," Kagami made her presence now known and dryly greeted her mother within ten feet of her.

"KAGAMI!?" Her daughter appeared before her. "What the...how did you…?"

Kagami replied confidently. "I had some friends free me." A monitor on her screen pointed to Aisha, Ziddy, and Félix fighting off any Miraculized that stood in their way.

"I should have known; that good-for-nothing Félix boy and that wretched Aisha girl." Tomoe seethed, but her composure remained intact. "No matter. Once Gabriel Agreste and I possess Ladybug and Cat Noir's Miraculous, we will use them to create and wish for a new world order. A perfect world order, where you and Adrien Agreste will be the eternal icons to carry our legacies, triumphing and immortalizing the Tsurugi name once and for all for eternality. And we'll be here to witness all of it."

"Even if that means bringing in the whole world to do so?" Kagami felt disgusted when she heard that. "That's insane!"

Tomoe didn't like what she heard. "We are doing all this for you two to be together again. It's for both of your own goods. We know what is best for you…"

"You don't know what's best for me! Or what I want!" Kagami snapped back. "You don't even care about what I want. The same with Adrien and Gabriel Agreste. You really are too full of your own pretension."

Tomoe fumed when Kagami dared to say that to her and talked back to her. "You ungrateful, insolent child!" She drew out her bokken. "No matter. It looks like I still have much to teach you."

Kagami drew a staff with her suit's arsenal. "Only this time, the student schools the teacher."

The mother-daughter stared each other down hard, waiting for one to make a move before Tomoe hurtled at Kagami first and their staffs crossed.

Back at the Agreste mansion, Bug Noire and Monarch took the fight to the foyer. Bug Noire used her Lucky Charm to handcuff him instead of using it on him and herself. That Shell-ter power preferred her from taking his rings but destroyed it with Cataclysm.

"Hya…Hya!" Bug Noire avoided his Venom attacks. "Eyah!"

Monarch bypassed hers right back. "GRR! RWAR!"

Then she used her Lucky Charm again to batter up the villain with a baker's peel, causing him to crash into the walls.

"Not bad for a baker's daughter, huh?" That would show Gabriel Agreste for shaming her about being the daughter of simple bakers who own the best shop in Paris and thinking she's not good enough for Adrien.

"Batter up again!" She gave him another swing. "HYAH…!"

"EHH! It's not over yet, you pesky little girl!" Monarch was now on one knee with his cane as support and began coughing off black soot; it must be the effects of subduing the Cataclysm. It must be weakening his internal organs. "I will win today and will make my wish come true!"

"Oh, yeah?" Bug Noire wasn't going to let that happen.

"Yes, you pathetic excuse of the Miraculous Guardian." Monarch bragged. "I reinvented the Kwamis' magic and trapped them in cages like the slaves they are to be now. They belong to me now."

Even Bug Noire felt a little disturbed by seeing it up close but kept her calm. "How about if I return a favor to you and give you the illusion of choice this time like you did with me? Either I allow you to give up and give me your Miraculous, or we keep on going, and you still lose? But again, I bet it would be easier for you if only you could make me disappear at the snap of your fingers, huh?" Bug Noire jeered.

"Never…"

If that's now, it's gonna be, Bug Noire had to herself with a determined look on her face.
