Scene: Marinette's room.
Marinette was asleep but was woken up by her cellphone.
"Huh? Happy birthday- ow!" She fell down the stairs and hits her chaise.
"Happy birthday!" She gets on her computer and turns it on, revealing her desktop background to be a shrine of Adrien.
"Ah~ Happy birthday, Adrien." She made kissing noises towards the screen.
Scene: Adrien's bathroom.
Adrien was brushing his teeth.
"Happy birthday, Adrien!" Plagg said, bringing a piece of Camembert cheese wrapped with a red bow to Adrien's face.
"Ugh, Plagg! Get that filthy piece of Camembert out of my face!" He said disgusted.
Plagg decides to take that as an excuse to eat the cheese instead. Once he does so, he rubbed his tummy happily.
Scene: Marina's room.
Marina was snuggling under the covers of her bed, Lita was sleeping soundly next to her.
Suddenly, a chipper pop song came on Marina's phone, waking both of them up.
Marina begrudgingly took the phone and stopped the alarm. However, she rose from her bed once she read the date. It was Adrien's birthday!
"Oh no!" Suddenly filled with lots of energy, Marina rushed out of bed to get ready for her boyfriend's birthday.
Lita tried to do the same thing before falling off the bed and going back to sleep.
Scene: Tom & Sabine Boulangerie Patisserie.
Marinette walked down the stairs with a gift in her hands while her mom was in the kitchen, drinking tea.
"Marinette, don't forget to clean your room after school today." Her mother, Sabine, reminded her.
"Mom! It's Friday, and I'm already doing something with Alya." Marinette pointed out.
"Fine, I'll go ahead and clean it, but don't blame me if I come across any of your private stuff, like your e-mails, your diary-" Sabine said.
Marinette paled and backtracked "Okay! I'll do it, I'll do it." She goes up to her mom, gives her a kiss, and starts to leave.
"Have a nice day, sweetie!"
"Happy birthday- I mean, have a nice day!" Marinette said before correcting herself and leaving.
"Hm?" Sabine was confused but shrugged and continued drinking her tea.
Scene: Agreste Mansion.
Adrien was eating alone at a big dining table.
"Your schedule, Adrien." Nathalie said, handing Adrien a tablet.
"Thanks, Nathalie. Hey, um, my father get back to you about my birthday party?" Adrien's face lit up for a moment, filled with hope. Unfortunately...
"Well, um- He doesn't think it would be a good idea." Nathalie said hesitantly.
Adrien's smile faded at once.
"'Course not."
"Happy birthday, Adrien." Nathalie said, feeling sorry for him and left.
Scene: Outside of school.
"Dude, seriously? Has your dad always been such a downer? You'd think he'd at least remember what it was like to be young and wanna party a little." Nino said, blowing bubbles.
"No, I'm pretty sure he was a downer back then too." Adrien said.
"My parents met him once when they were younger, that's probably the case." Jessica said. "Have to agree with you though, even my stone-hearted mother celebrates my birthday."
"Well, at least I tried." Adrien said dismissably.
Nino wrapped one arm around Adrien "It's your b-day, dude! Insist!"
"You can do it, you can do it!" Alya said encouragingly.
Behind a bush, Alya and Marinette, who was holding a present, were eavesdropping on their conversation.
"I can do it, I can do it!" Alya encouraged.
"You know what, I'm gonna have a little convo with your pops." Nino said.
"Don't waste your time. He's not gonna change his mind." Adrien said.
"Oh...I'm sure there's something we can do." Jessica said sympathetically, putting a hand on Adrien's shoulder.
Marinette popped up to look at Adrien while he's not looking "I can't do it, I can't do it!". Marinette sat back down, and put her head down behind her gift.
"Oh no, you don't, girl. You've been stalling all morning. Now's the time." Alya pushes Marinette over to Adrien.
Marinette was pushed out of the bush and stops right in front of the trio. "Um, he- Hey!" she said nervously. She hid her gift behind her back.
"Hey." Adrien said. Nino and Jessica just stare at her blankly.
Meanwhile, at the school doors, Chloé watched what was happening outside.
"Wait! Am I seeing what I think I'm seeing? Don't tell me it's Adrien's birthday?!" Chloe asked.
"Uh, don't tell me you forgot?" Marina retorted, holding her gift (a necklace of his zodiac, Libra) in her hand.
"W-well, I wouldn't have forgotten if someone had reminded me!" Chloe stuttered before glaring at Sabrina.
Sabrina smiles and giggles sheepishly. Marina rolled her eyes at both of them
Chloé facepalmed "Ugh, do I have to do everything myself? Seriously, what are you good for?"
Chloe and Marina walk towards Adrien. Marinette was still stumbling over her words.
"I, uh, I wanted to, umm, gift you a make-– I mean, gift you a give I made- I mean..."
Marina raised an eyebrow at her stuttering.
Chloé fake yawned while Marinette is talking and then shoved her away "Out of the way."
They smiled and said in unison "Happy birthday, Adrien!"
Marina gives her gift to Adrien "Got you a lil' something."
"Thanks Rina." Adrien said bashfully, taking the gift.
"Dummy." Marinette muttered, still on the floor. Alya facepalmed once more.
"Did you get the gift I sent you?" Chloe asked.
Marina stared at the blonde but said nothing.
"Uh, no." Adrien said.
"What? Oh, those delivery guys. I bet it was too heavy so they had to go back and get another guy to help. Those slackers. I'll make sure they get it to you later." Chloe said, pretending to be upset at the lack of her non-existent gift.
Chloe turned around and left, humming a happy tune to herself. Marina waved at the trio before joining Chloe.
Nino chuckled and playfully punched Adrien's arm. Jessica smiled and shook her head.
"Get back there! Don't be a pushover, literally!" Alya encouraged.
However Marinette still moped behind her gift, much to Alya's frustration.
"So...what did you get him?" Marina asked dryly.
"...Nothing." Chloe admitted defeated. She sprung up with determination "But I'll find a way, I always find a way."
Sabrina smiled. Marina raised an eyebrow but smiled too.
"C'mon, you can do it." Alya said.
"Hm!" Marinette finally got the courage to rise from her spot. Although by that point, a limousine arrived for Adrien and Jessica.
"Gotta go. Photoshoot." Adrien said sadly.
"Don't do anything dumb, Nino." Jessica said bluntly before getting in the limo.
The limousine drove away.
"Why can't I just mean what I say?" Marinette asked.
"Uh, say what you mean?" Alya corrected.
"Exactly." Marinette affirmed.
"Looks like I've got some business to take care of with Adrien's old man." Nino said to himself.
Scene: Outside the Agreste Mansion.
Marinette and Alya stand at the gate. Marinette tries to open the mailbox but it was shut tight.
"This mailbox won't budge!"
"Ring the doorbell." Alya said, gesturing to the doorbell.
"Are you kidding? What if Adrien answers the-" Marinette said but Alya pressed the bell before she could finish, making Marinette panic.
A hidden compartment on the wall opens and a camera appears.
"Yes?" Nathalie's voice rang out.
"Um, hi. I'm in Adrien's class and I, uh-" Marinette showed the gift to the camera. "Heh, did I already say that? Umm... Heh..." she smiles awkwardly.
"Put it in the box."
The once sealed shut door opened up.
"Uh." Marinette put the gift in the mailbox. "Thank you!" The camera retreats and wall compartment closes. "Oh! I hope he likes it!" Marinette said excitedly.
"You signed the note, right?" Marinette's face fell in an instant.
Alya put a finger to her temple. "Ah, girl, girl, girl."
Marinette groaned, she really was in her own way sometimes.
Scene: Agreste Mansion.
Nathalie entered her office with Marinette's gift in her hands and put it on her desk while sitting down.
"Who was that, Nathalie?" Gabriel asked from the intercom
"A friend of Adrien's. She was delivering a gift for his birthday." Nathalie explained.
"Did you remember to buy him a present from me?" Gabriel asked.
"Uh-uh, but you didn't ask me to." Nathalie said, surprised he was even thinking of his son's birthday.
"Of course I did!" Gabriel said angrily.
"Yes, Mr. Agreste. I-I'll take care of it." Nathalie stammered.
"Good." Gabriel disconnected the call.
Nathalie covers her mouth, in fear "Uh." She looks despaired, then her face lights up but then she takes Marinette's gift. "Ah." The doorbell rings again and she composes herself. "Yes?"
This time, it was Nino "Uh, hi."
Scene: Inside the Agreste Mansion.
Nino and Nathalie were standing in the foyer, waiting.
"He'll be here in a minute."
"Adrien's not home yet." Gabriel said.
"Uh, I was coming to see you, du-sir." Nino said, correcting himself.
"Me?" Gabriel asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Yeah, that's right. Look, I know you don't want Adrien to have a party, but it's his birthday, dude-I mean, sir. It's all he wants."
"No." Gabriel raises his palm. "That's final."
"That's messed up." Adrien enters without anyone noticing. "He never screws up in class, he always does whatever you tell him: photoshoots, fencing, Chinese, piano-"
"Nino? You're here." Adrien asked, putting a hand on Nino's shoulder.
"Anything for my best bud." Nino turns back to Gabriel "Show some awesomeness, du-I mean, sir, please."
Gabriel simply looked at Nino with a scowl.
Adrien's face fell and he sadly looked at Nino,
"Forget it, Nino. Really, it's fine."
"Listen, young man. I decide what's best for my son. In fact, I've just decided that you're a bad influence and you're not welcome in my house ever again. Leave now!" Gabriel yelled at Nino.
"Father, he was just trying to do something cool for me." Adrien tried to reason but Mr. Agreste left.
Nathalie steps in front of them "Goodbye."
Nino starts to leave, but Adrien catches him outside the front doors.
"Nino, wait! I'm sorry. My father-he's pretty stubborn. It's just best to stay out of his way." Adrien said.
"It's not fair, Adrien. Harsh, uncool." Nino crosses his arms upset and left, leaving Adrien looking sad.
"Thanks anyway, Nino."
Scene: The Place des Vosges.
Nino sat on a bench, looking angry. He started blowing bubbles with his bubble wand.
"But, Daddy, please!" A father took his son by the hand.
"No, it's not playtime. You've got your chores to do."
"Ugh. Adults ruin everything all the time."
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair.
His window screen opened.
"Desperate to help his friend, but feeling powerless. How frustrating! It won't be long before frustration turns to anger!" He takes a butterfly into his hand and black particles start to flow into it. It turns into an akuma. "Fly away, my little akuma, and evilize him." The akuma flies out into Paris.
Scene: The Place des Vosges.
Nino was blowing bubbles, when the akuma flew in and was absorbed into Nino's bubble wand. Nino looked up with an angry expression and a glowing pink butterfly symbol.
Hawk Moth spoke from his lair. He, too, had the same pink symbol in front of his face. "Hawk Moth is my name and Bubbler is now yours. I will help you with these horrid adults and all you have to do in return is help me get something from Ladybug, Diamond Pixie, Light Cat and Chat Noir."
"Yes, Hawk Moth." Nino said in gravelly voice, smiling evilly.
Nino stood up, purple-black smoke released from the bubble wand and covered his body.
Nino now the Bubbler flies in and crouched on a rooftop.
"No more adults means total freedom! This is SOOO sweet! Off the hook!" He takes out his bubble sword and flies over Paris, leaving a trail of purple bubbles behind him.
The bubbles start capturing adults, then turning green and flying away while citizens scream.
Many young kids were separated from their parents/guardians and had begun to cry.
"Perfect." Hawkmoth said.
Scene: The Storm Residence Kitchen
"Of course, I had the amazing idea of making passion fruit cake!" Chloe said, the camera panning out to reveal baking supplies and ingredients.
Lara (Marina's mom), Marina, and Sabrina were with her.
Lara was a tall dark skinned adult, she had amber eyes, shaggy brown hair and wore a black tracksuit with white stripes going down it.
"Now all we do is start. Uh okay, we grab this thing." Chloe grabs an electric hand mixer and turned it on. She however was not accustomed to the strange vibrating sensation or loud noises that accompanied it and fell over.
Sabrina went to help Chloe up, while Lara and Marina smiled and shook their heads.
"It's good you wanna make something for Adrien, but why do you let a-WAHHH!" Lara started to say but was cut off but a bubble enveloping her.
The trio gasped in horror, it got worse when they realized the bubbles were chasing them next.
They were unfortunately unable to escape the bubbles though Marina was able to grab her purse before being caught.
As they floated above Paris, Lita poked her head out of Marina's purse.
"Akuma?" Marina asked, though she already knew the answer.
"Obviously! Though something tells me we should wait a while before we transform." Lita suggested.
Marina nodded and hoped she and the others would land somewhere safe.
Scene: Jessica's room.
Jessica was fitting her gift, a lavender candle, into a box. She stops when she hears a maximus of screams. She goes outside her room to see all of the family's staff in bubbles.
She heard the whimper of her little sister, Jemmika, and ran to her assist.
Jemmika was a small pale child, she had sky blue eyes, short black hair and wore a lavender dress and pink rainboots.
"Jem, get to the panic room! Quickly!" Jessica said.
Jemmika nodded and ran to an undisclosed place.
Jessica could only accept her fate as she was taken by a bubble. The british girl sighed in a mixture of annoyance but also pity, she didn't need a Psychic Connection to know who was akumatized.
"Oh Nino.."
Scene: Dupain-Cheng House.
Marinette was eating lunch, making her peas into a shape of a heart.
"Adrien must have gotten his gift by now." Marinette said dreamily to herself.
Sabine opened a window "What's that you said?"
"Um, I can't wait to get back to school this afternoon, hehe." Marinette lied and giggled nervously.
Sabine chuckled but then a purple bubble flew in through the window and captured her. Marinette looks scared and tried to reach out her hand but to no avail.
"Mom! MOM!" She saw her father was also in a bubble. "Dad? Dad!"
"Your parents! Hawk Moth must've released another akuma." Tikki said.
"I've got to find his newest villain ASAP."
"Tikki, spots on!" Marinette transforms into Ladybug.
Cut to The Bubbler on a rooftop. "And now, party time!"
Ladybug ran out of the bakery to see children crying.
Purple bubbles appear in the sky, broadcasting a message from the Bubbler. "Today is your lucky day, little dudes. The adults have taken the day off, so make the most of it. No chores, no homework, no more nagging, just fun, fun, fun, fun. This is The Bubbler's gift to you."
Ladybug crouches down to the children's eye level. "Don't worry, your parents will come back. I'll see to it. You take care of them in the meantime." she ran off.
"Yay! Go, Ladybug!" the children cheered.
Scene: Agreste Mansion.
Adrien ate lunch alone in the mansion's dining room and got up.
"Wow. That was a birthday lunch break to remember. Yay!" he cheered with sarcasm.
He walked into the foyer and stopped "Nathalie? Father?" He shrugged sadly.
"Um, Adrien?" Marina's muffled voice could be heard outside the door.
Adrien perked up slightly at the sound of his girlfriend's voice. "Rina?"
"Can...you come outside for a bit?" Marina asked, sounding a bit hesitant.
"Oookay." Adrien said, he thought that was a bit weird but complied.
He walked outside to a crowd of his classmates cheering.
"Surprise..." Marina said still sounding hesitant, but forced a smile on nonetheless.
"Yay! Woo! Happy birthday!" Everyone said.
The Bubbler was standing on top of a bubble "Hey, hey, hey, birthday boy. Guess what? Daddy's gone. While the cat's away, the mice will play." Adrien looks at the Bubbler with a strange expression until he realizes who he was.
"Nino?!" Adrien said alarmed.
"The Bubbler's brought all yo homies together for one single-sole purpose, to ce-le-brate!"
"YEAH!" The Bubbler jumps down from the bubble into a DJ booth.
"Let's get this party started!"
Everyone falsely cheers and the Bubbler plays party music, and people start to dance with frowns on their faces. Adrien looks surprised and runs back into his house, Marina chases after him.
"Come on, everybody, I brought you here to party! So dance or you'll join the adults up in the sky! Hahahahahahahaha!" The Bubbler said while fireworks and bubbles shot into the sky.
"It won't be long before Ladybug, Diamond Pixie, Light Cat and Cat Noir show up to meet their doom! Mwahahahahahahaha!"
Scene: Hallway
Marina walked to Adrien's room where she knew he'd be hiding. Seeing as no one was in the house, Lita decided to fly freely next to her.
"He's not going to transform. Not right now at least. Sad as it is, this is probably the first time he's had a real party." Lita said.
"Yeah, I know." Marina sighed. While she and her family have given Adrien small secret parties in the past, but those were made of her family and their small group of friends, this really was Adrien's chance to have a real party full of his old and new friends, even if it was forced.
Scene: Adrien's room.
Adrien looks at his ring, hesitant to transform. Plagg climbs up to his shoulder.
"What's your problem? Relax! You're getting the party you've always wanted." Plagg pointed out.
"But Nino's been akumatized! I've gotta help him!" Adrien replied.
"You may never get this chance again! C'mon, let's have a little fun while your father's away! Then we'll save Nino, trap his akuma, and all will be good." Adrien turns and looks sad.
"Okay, you're right. This might be the first day in my life that I actually get to do what I want for once." Adrien said.
"Uh Adrien?" Adrien and Plagg turned to hear Marina's voice on the other side of the door.
"Are you okay in there?" she asked concerned.
Adrien opens the door with a smile on his face "I'm more than okay. Now I've got a party to enjoy." He grabs her hand and pulls her along with him.
"Well, this will be interesting." Lita commented. She and Plagg flew after their holders.
Scene: Rooftops.
Ladybug ran towards the fireworks.
"It's you and me, Bubbler."
Cut to the Agreste Mansion.
Everyone was glumly dancing but Adrien is enjoying himself. "Yeah!"
He walked over to a sad-looking Rose "Hey, nice party, I guess, since it's my first one."
Rose pitifully smiled and gave him two thumbs up, but kept dancing and went back to looking sad. Adrien turned around and saw everyone dancing with grim expressions. Adrien puts his hands down feeling guilty.
Chloé motioned for Sabrina to do something near the DJ booth.
"I'm requesting a slow dance." Sabrina said.
"It's a bit early for that, isn't it?" The Bubbler said.
Chloé shoved Sabrina down and puts on an innocent face. "It's for Adrien. His first slow dance. Mm?" She makes a sweet looking face even batting her eyes.
Well, that was a lie. He and Marina had danced, plenty of times but something had spice this party up.
"OH! You know it, girl." He changes the music to a slow dance. People pair up and keep dancing and looking sad.
Taking the opportunity, Marina walks up to Adrien.
"Is it me, or does everyone seem a bit weird?" Adrien asked.
"Ya think?" Marina said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well in the meantime, may I have this dance?" Adrien said, offering the dark skinned girl his hand.
Marina rolled her eyes but complied. She put his head on Adrien's chest and they danced. No Bubbler, no thinking about where their parents were, it was just them.
Chloe seeing her work was done, looked around for someone to dance with. She spotted Jessica staring at the other gloomy dancers. Chloe shrugged and walked over to her.
She didn't give Jessica a chance to comment, simply snatching her arm and saying "C'mon. You're dancing with me."
Cut to the balcony.
Ladybug watched as the Bubbler went to change a record and at Marina and Adrien dancing. They both look around before staring at each other and going in for a kiss. Ladybug gasped in horror.
"There is no way this is happening." she muttered to herself.
"She throws up her yoyo Lucky Charm!" The Lucky Charm superpower gives her a record. "A record?"
Ladybug looks out and her thinking vision shows her the empty record spot in the DJ mixer, the volume modifier and a ledge on the building across the street. Ladybug chuckles, then throws the record. It hits the ledge, bounces over to the DJ booth, hits the volume all the way up, lands on the empty spot and begins to play dance music again. Everyone breaks their pairs and goes back to singular dancing. Adrien and Marina hesitantly moved away from each other.
"Ladybug?" Jessica said aloud once Chloe walked away.
"Dude! Who just hijacked my mix?" The Bubbler asked, looking around.
"Yours truly." Ladybug said to herself, however her earrings only had one spot left.
"Better bug out quick before I change back to normal." Ladybug jumps out of the balcony to the outside of Agreste Mansion. "Spots off."
Ladybug changed back into Marinette. Tikki came out of the earrings and landed in her hands.
"Marinette!" Tikki said, fatigued.
"It was an emergency." Marinette excused.
"Yeah, if by emergency, you mean jealousy. You know what happens once you use your Lucky Charm. You only have minutes before-–"
"I turn back, I know. But I figured, The Bubbler, he's not going anywhere, we have time to get you some food to get your energy back up. Then, we'll get right back out there, I promise." Marinette explained.
She put Tikki in her purse, entered the party and looked around. She heads to the food table, grabbed some cookies, and put them in her purse for Tikki.
"I've got to find a place where I can transform, fast." Marinette whispered.
"Where have you been, girl? I was so scared something had happened to you." Alya said, relieved.
"Me too!" The two hug.
"I'm sure Ladybug and Cat Noir will show up in a minute to save us all. They never failed us. Meanwhile, come with me, I've got something for you."
"Uh, there's something I've got to do first." Marinette said.
"It's about Adrien." Alya said tauntingly.
"Okay." Marinette groaned.
"Marinette, The Bubbler." Tikki whispered from her purse.
"Okay, okay, in a sec." Marinette ran after Alya.
Cut to Nathalie Sancoeur's office.
Alya and Marinette open the door and see Marinette's gift on Nathalie's desk.
"Look! Now you can sign your gift." Alya pointed out.
Marinette gasped "Ah, yes!"
Cut back outside.
Ivan wasn't dancing and was instead standing near a wall. The Bubbler confronted him.
"Hey, you. Why aren't you having fun?" he asked menacingly.
"None of your business." Ivan grumbled.
"Then I'm going to make it my business." He chuckles and takes out his bubble sword, making Ivan flinch.
Jessica watched the whole scene and gasped. She took advantage of the Bubbler being distracted and went into Adrien's house before going into a random room.
Amethyst flies out of her hair.
"Okay, I love Adrien and Nino, but this has gone far enough!" Jessica said.
"Amethyst! Let's make a connection!"
Cut back to Nathalie's office.
Marinette is signing a post-it.
"'Love, Marinette'. There." She sticks it to the present and gives it a kiss.
"Right, we're good. Spots on, Marinette." Tikki said, hoping to rush this along.
"I can't do it now, Alya's here." Marinette replied.
"What'd you say?" Alya asked, sticking her head back in.
"Go ahead! I'll meet you in the yard."
Alya leaves and Marinette lets out a sigh of relief. Behind her, Ivan can be seen in a green bubble through the window.
"No! You were right, Tikki, I never should've waited this long."
Cut back to outside.
Adrien was on top of the DJ booth, speaking through a microphone.
"Hey, Paris, how you doing?"
He raised the mic in excitement.
"WOO!" Marina yelled out, trying to be optimistic. However, she was the only one to cheer. The rest of the crowd stared at her, surprised or annoyed at how she was seemingly enjoying their misery. Marina smiled nervously under the crowd's intense gaze.
Well that was until the Bubbler, who was behind Adrien, threateningly raised his bubble sword, and they all cheered. Adrien jumped down. Diamond Pixie and Ladybug appeared on the roof.
"Ladybug?" Adrien said.
"Diamond Pixie?" Marina said at the same time.
Diamond Pixie throws a small ball of purple light. It hits the power strip and unplugged everything.
"Sorry, Bubbler, but I'm afraid that this party is over." Diamond Pixie said.
"Why you gotta be like that?"
"You made all the adults disappear, that's why!" Ladybug said.
"Yeah! And now you're imprisoning anyone who isn't having fun. Not like they were to begin it." Diamond Pixie retorts.
Adrien and Marina run into the house.
"You will not bust up my party!" The Bubbler takes out his bubble sword and casts two bubbles at them, which which they both deflect. The crowd starts to run around in a panic. Cut to Adrien in his room.
"I think I've been a complete idiot." Adrien said, Plagg was dancing.
"I'm sure everyone will understand." Marina said. Lita flew out as well, shaking her head at Plagg's dancing.
"Plagg, claws out!" Adrien transforms into Cat Noir.
"Lita, lets bring the thunder!" Lita went inside Marina's choker, making it glow and sport purple stripes. Her dark brown hair became purple. Her amber eyes' irises became slits. A purple unitard/leotard appears on her body and lightning crackled around her waist, creating a skirt. Yellow energy travels down her arms and legs, creating purple gloves and boots. Finally, where her cat ear headband used to be now sports real black cat ears and a tail also forms. With all that done, she stands on one leg and the other perched upwards while clenching her fists close to her neck.
Ladybug, Diamond Pixie and The Bubbler were fighting.
Diamond Pixie shot another energy beam at a bubble that was approaching, managing to pop it in time.
Ladybug throws her yo-yo at one of his bubbles, but it just bounces back toward her.
Chat Noir and Light Cat entered the fight. Chat hits the yo-yo with his staff, and the yo-yo goes up in the air.
"Looks like we made it just in time." Chat said as the two cat heroes landed near their leaders.
"I had it under control." Ladybug said.
"Well, I did." Diamond Pixie said, causing Ladybug to glower at her slightly. She creates a tiny circle at the top of Chat's head that stopped the yo-yo from hitting him. "But thanks."
"Get the Miraculouses. I want those powers, NOW!"
The Bubbler throws a stream of small red bubbles at the quad, and they fight them off with their weapons. The Bubbler simply chuckles and snapped his fingers, and the bubbles turn green and start circling around them, some sticking to them until they are both captured in one big bubble. Ladybug pushes against it while Light Cat tries to scratch at the bubble as the Bubbler laughs.
"Give me your Miraculouses before you run out of air." The Bubbler threatened.
"Dream on, Bubbler." Diamond Pixie retorted.
"Total party poopers, just like adults."
"Kids need adults." Ladybug said.
"False! Kids need freedom, fun, let loose and live it up. Adults are controlling and bossy." The Bubbler said.
"But adults keep children safe and protected. They care for their kids, they love them!" Ladybug said
"Most adults do anyhow." Chat Noir muttered to himself.
Diamond Pixie frowned. Of course, she agreed with Ladybug since the Bubbler had taken both innocent civilians and parents who did care about their kids. But she knew how subjective this topic was otherwise.
Looks like she wasn't the only one that thought that as Light Cat spoke up next "Look you're both right! But you have to bring the adults back! There are young children and babies you left all alone who need to supervised!"
But the Bubbler wouldn't listen "Nope, never. Know what, since you care so much about these adults, why don't you go float with them for a while?" He ran at them and kicked the bubble high up into the sky. The quad screamed while the crowd gasped.
"What do you think you're doing Bubbler?! You're supposed to seize their Miraculouses!"
Scene: Green bubble up in the sky.
Ladybug and Chat Noir are trying to burst the bubble. Diamond Pixie digs her heels into the bubble but to avail. Light Cat had gone into a catatonic state (no pun intended), she wasn't a fan of heights.
"Use your Cataclysm!" Ladybug suggested.
"Couldn't you have said that five hundred feet ago?" Chat said, Light's eyebrows furrowed at Ladybug as well.
"We can't stay stuck in this bubble together forever." Ladybug pointed out.
Chat Noir bounces his eyebrows and smirks at Light Cat, which managed to gain a small smile from the cat heroine. Diamond Pixie smiled at them, thinking it was cute but Ladybug facepalmed.
"Cataclysm!" He touches the bubble and it bursts. Ladybug, Chat Noir, and Light Cat started falling while Diamond Pixie stayed in the sky, flapping her crystal wings. She looked at the camera for a second before diving down, hoping to catch at least one of her teammates.
"Should we see if you both land on your feet this time?" Ladybug said.
"No, thanks!" Chat replied.
"HECK NO!" Light Cat retorted, scared and angry.
Diamond Pixie grabbed Light Cat from the sky, holding her bridal style as Light Cat held on for dear life.
"Your stick, there!" Ladybug said, pointing to the Eiffel Tower.
"Got it!" Chat threw his staff so hard it gets stuck in the Eiffel Tower. Ladybug took his hand.
"Hang on!" Ladybug threw her yo-yo. It looped around the Cat Noir's staff, they swung and landed safely.
Ladybug tossed Chat Noir his staff.
A few second, Diamond Pixie landed on her feet with Light Cat in tow. Light Cat stepped out of Diamond Pixie's arms and death glared at Ladybug.
"Ladybug, never do that again..." she stays like that for a few seconds before turning to Chat and Diamond. "We've got to get to his bubble sword, that's got to be where the akuma is." Chat Noir's ring alert sounded, one of the paw prints was already gone.
"Better hurry." he said. The three heroes take off, Ladybug blinks for a second before joining them.
Scene: Agreste Mansion front.
The Bubbler tries to get the party going again. "Where is everybody? Get out here and party!"
"Sorry to burst your bubble." Ladybug said, all four heroes behind.
"Ladybug!" "Diamond Pixie!" "Light Cat!" "Chat Noir!"
All the teens started to chant their names and cheer the heroes on.
"Ohhh~ Looks like no one wants to party with you anymore, Bubbler." Diamond Pixie taunted.
"What's wrong with all you guys!? Why you gotta be such haters!?" The Bubbler grunts, takes out his bubble sword and captured all the teens in bubbles.
"NOOO!" the quad screamed.
"Outer space is the next stop for your precious peeps, and they're never coming back!" He said.
The Bubbler jumped from roof to roof while the quad pursued him. The Bubbler flies to the Eiffel Tower. The four start climbing it while he throws explosive bubbles at them, however they all dodge them. Chat Noir's ring alert sounded again, only one part of the paw print was left.
"I'm gonna switch back soon, hurry." Chat yelled.
Ladybug and Diamond Pixie nodded. Diamond Pixie closed her eyes, held her hands together in a praying motion, and the gem on her headband glowed.
She saw Ladybug with a giant wrench loosening the screw, Chat uses the air of a pipe to deflect bubbles, Light Cat striking the Bubbler and thus giving her time to snatch the bubble sword out of his hands.
"Ladybug, do your lady charm!" the pixie hero instructed and Ladybug nodded.
"Lucky Charm!" The Lucky Charm superpower gives the same giant wrench Diamond Pixie saw from her vision.
"Super Miraculous Sisters!" Light Cat said jokingly, gaining chuckles from both Diamond and Chat while Ladybug simply shrugged.
"Light, just dodge him for now, and strike when the times right!" Diamond Pixie instructed.
"You got it!"
The Bubbler throws more explosive bubbles at Diamond and the two cat heroes. They both dodge them, ending up atop a beam. Diamond Pixie even managing to get some hits in herself.
"Could use a little work! Is that all you got?" Chat taunted.
Ladybug used her Lucky Vision, she saw a vent, a vent pipe, the screw connecting them, and the wrench.
"Got it!" She runs towards the pipe while the others were still dodging bubbles. She loosens the screw and the pipe comes off. "Cat Noir, cover me!" Cat Noir jumped down and took the pipe.
"Go on!" The Bubbler threw more bubbles at him, but the air flowing from the pipe deflected them. The Bubbler raised his bubble sword once again, but Light Cat took her chance.
"Kerauno!" A purple lightning strike hit the Bubbler, paralyzing him.
Diamond Pixie flew behind him and grabbed the sword. She breaks the sword in half over her knees. The akuma flies out of the sword.
"Get out of there, you pesky bee. Bugger off, little akuma. Time to de-evilize!"
Diamond's eyes turned white and the gem on her headband glowed, beaming out a light. Somehow the akuma seemed attracted to the light. It flew towards it, but was stunned for a moment, the darkness left and it turned back into a white butterfly. Diamond Pixie's gem stopped glowing and her eyes returned to purple. The now pure white butterfly flew away.
"See ya little butterfly."
With that out of the way, Ladybug threw her wrench in the sky and it turned a trillion of glowing red ladybugs.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
The Miraculous cleansing light returns every adult to safety. Tom and Sabine hugged, Lara let out a deep sigh of relief and slumped to the ground, and all the Danielles' staff cheered and hugged each other in comfort.
The Bubbler fell on his knees, the black smoke uncovered him and he turned back to Nino.
"Who? Dude."
The four heroes bump their fists together.
"Pound it!"
Scene: Hawk Moth's lair
"You can't run forever Ladybug and when I catch you, I will crush you! I will DESTROY YOU ALL FOUR OF YOU!" Hawkmoth's window screen closes.
Scene: Nathalie Sancoeur's Office.
Marinette's scarf was still on Nathalie's desk.
"Nathalie? Did my son like his gift?" Gabriel asked on the intercom.
"Actually, I was going to check right away sir." Nathalie lied.
"Good." He disconnected the call.
Nathalie panicked and looked around.
She found Marinette's gift, still on the table. She sighed, there was a decent chance Adrien didn't know this person very much.
She crumples and throws Marinette's post-it note in the garbage. She winced as she does so, feeling slightly sorry for whoever's gift this actually was.
She ran before composing herself into the dining room where Adrien is eating.
"A birthday present, from your father." Nathalie brought out Marinette's gift.
"Thank you. I mean, please say thank you to my father for me." Adrien looks happily at the gift. A notification from his phone beeped and Adrien opened it.
Model Buddy: Hey, can you come to my house real quick?
Adrien looked at his phone, curious.
Scene: Danielles' Mansion.
After getting passed by security, Adrien rang the doorbell and Jessica opened the door.
"Ah, you're here, Adrien." Jessica greeted.
"Yeah, convinced Nathalie to drop me off, I have a few hours." Adrien said.
"Perfect!" She grabbed him by his wrist, leading him up to a room in the house.
She opened it up her door to reveal all of their classmates smiling.
"Happy Birthday!"
"What? Jess, did you do think for me?" Adrien asked.
"Oh course, after the day you've had, you deserve a party. A real party."
"Adrien!" Chloe pointed to the Libra necklace around his shoulders, "Nice necklace you got there~"
"Yeah", he looked at Marina, smiling, "Thank you, by the way, I love it."
"I'm glad you do. Now come on, let have some fun!" Marina cheered.
Scene: Outside school.
"Did you hear what he told me, girls?" Chloe said. "The cake was the most delicious thing he ever tasted! I told you I'd find a way."
Sabrina smiled at Chloe's happiness.
"Yes, you did, Chloe." Marina said, proud of her friend.
Adrien's limousine arrived at school, Marina excused herself to talk to Adrien.
"Hey girls!" Adrien stepped out of the limousine, wearing a scarf and the libra symbol necklace.
Marina smiled thoughtfully 'He's still wearing the necklace I gave him.'
"Hey, that's my scarf! He's wearing my scarf." Marinette cheered.
"Hey, dude." Adrien and Nino fist bumped.
"Hey Jess, Rina." Adrien turns to both girls, sharing a smile with both.
"Yo, nice scarf, Adrien. Off the chain." Alya complimented, while Marinette nervously waved.
"Yeah, can you believe my dad got this for me?" Marinette's look turned to one of surprise. "He's so awesome. He's been giving me the same lame pen for three years in a row."
"I don't know about awesome." Marina started, sounding hesitant at first but smiled "But I'm glad something he got you something new."
Jessica nodded "Mhm."
"Wow, I guess anyone can change. Adults can be cool when you least expect it." Nino admitted, shrugging.
"Speaking of adults, I know my father said you were a bad influence, but-" Adrien started to apologize but was cut off from Nino placing a hand on his shoulder.
"We're good, Adrien, don't sweat it. We're buds. Always and forever." Nino said, the four friends walked up the stairs.
"You gotta tell him you were the one who knitted the scarf." Alya said to Marinette.
"But he seems so happy about his dad. I don't want to spoil it for him." Marinette said.
"Aw, Marinette." Alya threw her arms around the bluenette. "You're amazing, girl. You know that, right? And someday Adrien will figure it out too. Promise."
The bell ran and Marinette and Alya went up the stairs to the school.

The second chapters out. Yeah Chloe's a Adrina shipper and the first seeds of Jessoe has been planted. Also it was a bit hard to get a canon answer but I saw a post of an MLB book saying Adrien's birthday is the 13th of October hence Libra necklace. Marina is a Cancer for those that are curious, June 25th.
Also I revised the ending after reading Miraculous Life on AO3. Also yes, Marinette and Alya were at Adrien's actual party and they did open gifts at said party. But since Marinette already sent it to him, I think she would think he had already opened and seen it.
