Alrighty then! We're back everybody! "Metamorphosis" returns with a new chapter! In our last update, our heroes questioned the Mini-Mart's security officer about what Xenon did at the store. Then they confront Xenon in an alley and are forced to fight him after Raphael accidentally provoked him. He easily overpowers them, but Splinter saves them and defeats Xenon. Now they took him to a secluded location to consult him. Will they receive the answers they seek? Let's find out! Enjoy!
In the alley from before, Kate and her companions are searching for Xenon.
"He was here, but not anymore." Kate wondered. "Where did he go?"
"Maybe he became a sewer monster?" Neil answered.
"No way am I going to the sewers." Liza said.
"Same here." Rocky agreed.
"Quite." Winstand also agreed.
In the outskirts of New York, Xenon was in a cage.
"Why are we bothering asking that thing questions?" Michelangelo asked. "That thing hurt us, and actually hit April, who I might add is a girl!"
"Because I think there's more to this guy than what it looks like." Leonardo answered.
"I just don't think the dude's worth the effort."
"I can hear the ocean!" Raphael said dazedly as he was holding a rock to his head.
"And has anyone made an antidote for Raphie yet? I'm not used to seeing him like this!"
"Well, it might not be easy." Donatello answered. "I'd need a sample of Xenon's stinger venom, but it would still take 24 hours to make it."
"Well, that stinks!"
"Hey, April?" Raphael asked. "You don't look so good."
"What do you mean?" April asked as she looked like a big fat prune in the turtle's vision.
"You—You—You look like a big fat prune!"
"YOU'D BETTER NOT BE TALKING ABOUT POOP, DRINKY!"
"Poop? Oh, giant prune man, you're silly! Prunes are fuit."
"Good luck trying to milk me." Xenon said. "I'm mad at you guys already for caging me like an animal!"
"It doesn't help no one has knowledge of how to milk a, whatever you are." Splinter replied.
"Not to worry, sensei." Donatello said. "I've done antidotes for venom many times. I'll get the venom."
"Yeah, good luck with that—" Xenon started to say but is cut off when the turtle rips the stinger off Xenon's tail. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH! WHAT THE HELL WAS THAT?!"
Donatello squeezes the stinger and gets venom. "All too easy. Now, you won't be stinging anyone else for a long time. Wait..." He sees his hand is covered with venom. "Aw crud!" He starts seeing weird things. Michelangelo turns into a cheese pizza in his vision. "YUMMY! PIIIIIZZZA!" He drops the venom sample.
"HOLY MOLY!" April screamed before catching the venom sample before it hit the ground. "Whew, that was close!"
"Crud nuggets!" Splinter exclaimed. "Now we've got two drugged daisies to cure."
"CHEESE PIZZA!" Donatello yelled as he pounced on his youngest brother. "I MUST HAVE YOU!"
"AAHH, GET OFF OF ME, DRINKY!" Michelangelo screamed.
"Uh, Donny?" Raphael tried to get his brother's attention. "What's up with you today, man? You're acting kind of—Kind of—Kind of stupid!"
"WILL YOU SHUT UP, RAPHY?!" Donatello shouted. "I'm in the middle of dinner here!"
"I'm not a pizza, you drink mis-shaped midget reptile!" Michelangelo shouted.
"He's right, Donata!" Raphael exclaimed. "He's not a pizza! He's a—" In the turtle's point of view, his youngest brother is a pie. "He's a pie."
"YUMMY!" Donatello yelled gleefully. "I LOVE PIZZA PIE!"
"AW MAN, RAPH!" The youngest of the four ninjas screamed.
"I'll have to whip this up quick!" April declared.
"Angel funny in suit." Raphael chuckled goofily.
"What did you just say?"
Raphael hiccups. Unbeknownst to them, Kate and her friends were watching from afar.
"Yo, we have our bounty hunters over here." Rocky informed.
"Hey, those are bounty hunters!" Neil reminded. "Those are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!"
"Oh no!" Kate exclaimed with worry. "Blake must have done something horrible to get their attention! We have to be clever about this!"
"I AIN'T NO DANG ANGEL, TURTLE!" April spat furiously as she grabs Raphael by the neck. "DO I LOOK LIKE SOME KIND OF PERSON IN A ROBE WITH WINGS AND A HALO TO YOU?!
"Well… Yeah!" Raphael replied.
"Hey, guys?" Leonardo got everyone's attention as he notices Rocky walking up to them. "Who's that?" The turtle points at the chameleon.
"Rocky?" Xenon asked.
"Hey, you turtles!" Rocky greeted. "I think you should just unhand that creature! My friend Kate wants him one way or another!"
"KATE?! Oh my God! She finally recognizes me!"
"Hey, bozo!" April exclaimed. "You do NOT wanna mess with these turtles! We're taking this case!"
"Oh, yeah?" Rocky replied. "Well, you might need us because that guy is our friend! We're helping!"
"Oh no you're not!"
"Oh yes we are!"
"Nope!"
"Yep!"
"Nope!"
"Yep!"
"Nope!"
"Nope!"
"Yep!"
"Nope!"
"Yep!"
"Nope!"
"I SAY YOU HELP! IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN FACE MY MORNING BREATH!"
"NOOOOOO!" Everyone screamed.
"Alright, then. We'll help." Rocky said.
"Yay!" April cheered. "We—Duh hey, wait a minute!"
"Nice work, Rocky!" Neil said as he appears.
"Hey, thanks." Rocky said. "I do what I do!"
"Not bad, my brother of a chameleon, so to speak!" Liza exclaimed.
"Admittingly, I never thought the turtles would be so easily bested by a mare Bugs Bunny style use of wordplay." Winstand said.
"Neil, Winstand, Liza!" Xenon exclaimed. "It's so great to see you, and that you're not ridiculing me on my appearance for once!"
"Yeah, speaking of that…" Neil started to say. "Sorry."
"Nice one, April." Leonardo complimented sarcastically. "Now we're stuck babysitting a group of civilians."
"Take it easy." Kate said as she showed up. "We're just here to help our friend Blake, so that way, there won't be any need for you turtles to destroy Xenon for what he may have done. He's a victim of depression because of a misunderstanding and good intentions gone wrong."
"Well, we weren't planning the course of action yet anyway, but this information will certainly keep it out of the question." Leonardo said.
"Kate…" Xenon started to stay. "I-I-I couldn't be more happy to see you again."
"Come again?" Splinter asked.
"I think we owe some explaining to do, huh?" Rocky asked.
"Totally!" Winstand answered.
"You see, this, 'monster' people keep calling him, is in trouble." Kate explained. "He's close to death. He made this medicine so no one would have to worry about being injured again. Unfortunately, this happened to him. He's trying to look for a cure because this medicine he made is gonna kill him within five days. He needs help."
"My golly!" Michelangelo yelled. "Is he really in that much trouble?"
"Yes. Now that we've finally found Xenon and knowing you guys are New York City's protectors and more sympathetic than one of those grouchy police officers."
"Well, then, I guess we owe Xenon an apology for an awkward first impression." Michelangelo said.
"THANK YOU!" Xenon squealed.
"So now what?" Leonardo asked. "He still caused some trouble, so what do we do?"
"I discovered that Blake made an unintended mistake." Kate answered. "He didn't add Metasi-pourium."
"Wha?"
"It would've allowed the change to not be fatal because his mentalism would be able to meet with the change."
"But what about the aggression?" Xenon asked.
"The aggression thing is only a side effect response to death, you know, like an end-of-life crisis, as supposed to a midlife crisis. It's just one of those things. Every creature goes through that."
Oh god, I should've realized that! Strange, I was sure I told that duck assistant to add the Metasi-pourium. Wait, he dropped it! I didn't think it was that important! If only I was more considerate!"
"Wha-wha-wha-wha-wha-what're we gonna do?" April asked with panic.
"We're gonna find a way to help him, that's what we're gonna do." Splinter answered.
"I couldn't agree more." Leonardo said.
"Hey, guys?" Raphael asked with a laugh as he sees his brothers, adoptive rat father and human friend in different colors.
"What are you talking about?" Donatello asked.
"Hey, uh, Blake, is it?" Michelangelo asked. "How long did you say the stuff in your tail was gonna wear off?"
"I already stated 72 hours or so." Xenon replied. "It's my best guess. I don't usually hang around long enough to see if it wears off."
"YOUR BEST GUESS AND YOU DIDN'T SAY YOU ACTUALLY SEE IF IT'S 72 HOURS OR NOT?!" April asked angrily.
"Trust me, I had ALOT of reasons not to, majority of them, concerned gun-trotting policemen!"
"Ugh, that does it! All reports are in! Life is now officially unfair!"
"Don't worry, April!" Splinter spoke up. "With the venom sample Donatello got, we can get the cure finished in 24 hours like Donatello said. Right, Donatello?"
"I sharpened a pencil in my bum, and now I need a band-aid!" Donatello exclaimed.
"Oops, forgot he was affected, too." April said.
"Actually, I already have an antidote ready just in case Blake was forced into a fight." Kate said.
"Well, it doesn't help to actually avoid them if he goes around stealing food, paralyzing guards and just roars like a dinosaur!" Leonardo spoke.
"Now to get these dummies cured." April said.
"Whoa, me oh my!" Donatello yelled. "You're not talking about shots, do you?"
"Actually, no." Kate answered. "You can drink it."
"EEW!" Michelangelo gagged. "What are you, crazy, woman?" In his eyes, Kate is a mad doctor.
"Don't worry, it tastes like Kool-Aid."
"What flavor?" Donatello asked. "I'm so distracted. You have huge tater tots!"
"UGH!" Kate interjected and slapped the turtle. "Look, I know you're not in control of what you're saying because of Blake's stinger, but all in all, that was rude!"
"Yeesh, for a woman, you sure are a good She Hulk." The turtle gets slapped by Kate again.
"Stop that and just take the dang medicine!" She stuffs Donatello with medicine.
"Ooh, it tastes like tropical punch! My favorite!" The turtle's weird and colorful eyesight fades away and he gets normal eyesight again. "Uhhgh, what happened? And why do I have a rash on my butt?"
"Ooh, Donny!" Michelangelo exclaimed woozily as his brother was red and blue in his eyes. "You're getting swirlies like everyone else now! What gives, dude?"
"Get a hold of yourself, Michelangelo! You're venom drugged!"
"Venom is a drug? Wow, they should really illegalize that stuff. AH-YUK!"
"Okay, no more of this!" Kate scolded. "He may not control what he is saying under this influence, but it's getting out of hand!" She stuffs medicine into the turtle.
"Oh, thanks, girly! I needed some Kool-Aid Tropical Punch! It really…turns…me on." The turtle gets cured. "Wha-what is going on here? Where's Xenon?"
"Uh-oh, he still doesn't think I'm dangerous, does he?" Xenon asked.
"AH-HA! PULL A FAST ONE ON ME, EH?!"
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Leonardo stopped his brother. "Easy, easy! Xenon's not the monster we thought he is!"
"Turns out, the guy is a victim of a good idea gone south." Splinter supported his adoptive son's fact. "In his case, REALLY SOUTH! We're talking the south pole down here!"
"No offense, but you were really off your rocker." April said.
"How off?" Donatello asked.
"You were basically almost like a donkey." Leonardo said.
"Yeah, that stuff made you more stupid than a dumb animal!" April added.
"We need to have a talk." Michelangelo said.
"ENOUGH OF THIS NONSENSE!" Raphael exclaimed before calming down. "What is going on here?" They all explain everything to him. "Ohh, okay. Anyway, how're we gonna find the antidote to cure Blake?"
"Well, it might not be that easy." Xenon answered. "I was almost able to get my hands on a cure, but those darn police officers had to interfere. They destroyed all my data. Not even one file was saved. I searched the rubble for the ingredients for the cure, but not even a single drop of serum was left. So, I'm doomed to die within five days."
"Well, you're in luck." Kate said before talking out a file that says, "Gene Cleanser".
"WHAT?! How—How—How is that even possible?"
"Well, you see, Blake, before you even took the medicine that made you Xenon, I managed to retrieve your antidote files in case your experiment had any dilations, which apparently it did. However, it wasn't easy trying to keep it. The KGB wanted to destroy all the data once they shut down your company. They came to my house and confiscated all the antidote files. Or so they thought. Because I made a secret copy in case."
"Well, thank the lord I'm saved!"
Kate opens the files. "Okay, it says we only need a sample of the monster's DNA, some Metasiporium, some MacGuffium 237, some Carbonated Water, and some Glucose."
"Somehow, I don't think those are things you can find in a grocery store." Leonardo stated.
"FREEZE!" A loud voice rang out. A group of cops surround the group. "Nice job capturing the freak. Now get out of the way so me and the boys can blast it to smithereens!"
The sounds of guns cocking is heard!
"Never wise to disobey armed cops!" Donatello exclaimed. "That tends to lead to death!"
"Hate to disappoint bloodshed fans, but Blake here is not as dangerous as he unintentionally advertised." Raphael tried to reason with the police.
"Oh, I thought those little rats would get to you!" The police officer retorted. "A monster is a monster! Simple sci-fi logic! Now move out of the freaking way, or I will not be held responsible if the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were killed by the monster!"
"Are you saying you're gonna kill us and blame it on Blake?" Michelangelo asked.
"Oh, you named it now, eh? I was certain its name was Xenon. I should've suspected this from you villain befriending weirdos! Boys! Move the misfits away from the freak! And cuff up the mad scientist and her accomplices while you're at it! After that, all guns aim on that abomination!"
"WAIT!" The officer's partner stopped him. "Axle, don't do this! Listen to reason!"
"Stay out of this, Jannet!" Nothing's gonna convince me to stop."
"Axle!" Chief Bullington bellowed. "Listen to him."
"Chief?!"
"I'm sorry Axle, but you are not gonna kill this creature without my authorization. Am I clear?"
Officer Axle sighs. "Yes, sir."
"Now, officers, let the turtles explain everything." They hear the heroes' explanations. "Let's no do something extreme yet. He's not a monster. Not yet anyway."
"Well, we gotta do something about this quickly." Donatello declared. "Got any ideas?"
"Actually, Donny, I think we were looking for the ingredients to the antidote." Leonardo replied.
"Antidote?" Axle asked with confusion. "What antidote?"
"The one we're gonna use to change Blake back to normal, of course." Raphael answered.
"Well, if you insist, guys." Bullington said. "Alright, everyone, let's give these guys some room here." The police squad leaves except for Axle.
"Drat!" He spat before leaving. "I was so close!"
"Alright, let's get started finding the ingredients for the antidote." Kate said.
Chapter four is completed ya'll! And boy oh boy did so much happen! Raphael got samples of the venom from the stinger on Xenon/Blake's tail. Unfortunately, the venom affected all that it touches and makes them drunk and drugged. Just when they realized that he's not a monster and start heading out to collect the required ingredients for the antidote, they get surrounded by the police. Luckily, the heroes managed to explain their situation to them. The quest will continue in the next update. Please review, thanks!
