Today was the eve of Halloween. And while most people were excited for this holiday, Saphira was not. She knew this weekend she would find out what plan there was set for her by Afton, and she was not excited by it at all. And with the theme of pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns all throughout the horror attraction, Saphira was certain that the new animatronics would have a similar look. She has not seen any new blueprints regarding them, as she did look through the animatronic files in the office to see if she could find them. But there was none, and they may never be brought over to the pizzeria too. Regardless, Saphira was still nervous about the weekend and if the new animatronics will even be friendly.

As for Springtrap, well, things have been unpleasant for the two of them. After that night, Saphira has given him the space he has needed. Springtrap didn't come to her like he has, and there was a deep pain and sadness in his eyes whenever she saw him. It hurt her to see him like this. She really wanted to run over to him to just hug him and tell him how sorry she was. That's what she really felt. But she knew she had to give him the space needed.

Bonnie did make an effort to spend time with her to keep her company. Saphira did also end up teaching Chica, Toy Chica, Golden Bonnie, Nightmare Chica and Toy Bonnie how to make pancakes, as she worked out what the actual time employees started arriving, and it was not until eight. So when six came around, Saphira figured she could teach them how to make pancakes, and the animatronics fell in love with the breakfast food.

But now that it was the eve of Halloween, Saphira knew that the new animatronics would be delivered to the pizzeria later that night, and she was nervous about it. She was currently in her room listening to some music. She did not feel like going up to the office right now, as there wasn't really anything that she could think of that needed doing. The little tasks that Mike will want her to do can be done a bit later, she was sure. But she did know she might have to do something to prepare for the new arrivals.

Saphira was listening to Roxette songs while she sketched some pictures of Springtrap, as she honestly had been thinking so much about him over the last few days. Seeing the pain he was in hurt, but it also made her want to draw more images of him. She actually focused on one, and she was using charcoal on a large canvas to create the image for him. She figured she could use this as a gift for Springtrap, even if it was not necessarily going to be as good of a gift as admitting her feelings towards him.

This image Saphira was taking her time with was of Springtrap and herself holding hands in a waltz. She knew she may never actually dance with Springtrap, but she was able to imagine what it was like. And it was beautiful. She could see herself dancing the same waltz in Cinderella, and it would just be as magical. There were plenty of dresses she could borrow from the store, and she already knew that Springtrap would like it.

Maybe I could convince him to dance on my birthday. I know he's shy about it, but I am sure he would enjoy it.

Saphira hummed along to the different Roxette songs softly as she took her time working on the image. She believed it might take a few days to complete it, as she needed the time and patience to work on it. She did hope that Afton would not ruin it, as he would likely be spying on it right now. But she didn't focus on him, as she was pouring her heart and mind into this painting as she honestly wanted to make it as beautiful as possible.

After a bit of time, Saphira checked the time to see it was just after ten and she decided that it was time to just go up to the office. She covered the canvas with a sheet and washed her hands to get the charcoal off before she fixed her hair. She had decided to wear a black, long sleeve shirt with a dark blue skirt and black leggings. She thought it made her look cute, and she added a dark green bow to her hair as she put a side ponytail in. She smiled to herself and put on some shoes before she made her way out of the room.

She felt quite happy with how she dressed tonight, as it was very cute and nice to look at. She knew that with the new animatronics coming, that would not matter. She did worry about how the new animatronics will react to her, as she did not know what information they would have been fed during their time in Afton's lab. Anything could have been fed to their brains, and it could already be established in their minds that they must attack her. That was honestly a scary thought to have.

She walked out of the storage closet and was relieved no one saw her, as she knew that some employees would be heading home. She closed the door and skipped over to the office. She was a little startled by a jack-o-lantern scarecrow sitting at Mike's desk, making her a little more nervous about Halloween. She was tempted to grab the scarecrow and carry it out of the room so she didn't have to see it, but she guessed it was better not to do that in case it was meant to stay there.

She sat on the chair with a shake of her head and began to casually look through the cameras. The place was definitely packed. It was hard to see the floor as she looked through the cameras of the dining room. It was so crazy. Saphira remembered how crazy the pizzeria got when she was a kid as well. And yet, it used to be a favorite time of the year. Saphira used to dress up as Bonnie for Halloween as a kid. And one year, she dressed up as Springtrap. She smiled to herself as they were good memories that she had. She wished they lasted longer.

As she was looking through the cameras casually, she heard the sound of movement behind her and turned immediately to see that the scarecrow had slumped, and she saw there was an envelope on the lap of the scarecrow. She had not noticed it before, unless it fell out of the blue vest. She knew who it was from, but she was also not so confident in grabbing it from the scarecrow. It could be a trap, and she didn't particularly want to grab it. But she had a way to do it.

She looked at the old, metal fan on the desk and picked it up before turning it on high and aiming it at the envelope. She watched the envelope fly off the lap of the scarecrow onto the ground and she quickly stood up to grab it from the ground and sit back down. She relaxed as she turned off the fan and looked at the envelope. There was nothing written on the envelope itself, but she knew that there was something written on the note inside the envelope. She shook her head in irritation as she pulled it out and opened it to read it.

'I hope you have fun tonight. The first night is always the most aggressive. Good luck, little thing.'

The first night is the most aggressive. She already knew that. However Saphira did not know if this was a warning or a threat. She assumed it was a threat, as this was another part of Afton's game. After all, it would be amusing to him to see how Saphira was able to survive against new animatronics that were out for their first taste of blood. She shivered nervously as she began to worry about the night even more. And she didn't know if there was something planned for the actual night of Halloween.

He really loves making me fearful of his plans...but he seems to be a smart man...and he's toying with me...and the animatronics.

Saphira also knew that the animatronics would be tested, as they would have to protect her from the new animatronics, and she also would need to hide from them. And she didn't know yet where she should hide. After all, there were many places to hide, but they weren't necessarily the best places to hide as well. Saphira grumbled as she considered masking her scent with a heap of perfume too, but it might not help her if they become crazy just upon seeing her.

Saphira could not help but rip the note and envelope into pieces before throwing them into the bin. She got the message, she didn't need to hold onto it and show the animatronics. After all, she had to wait. She did check the cameras in the loading dock out of curiosity, but there was no truck there just yet. She knew that the truck would have to be coming right now, or very soon. She guessed as soon as the horror attraction closed, the truck would be on it's way. This waiting was really annoying, but the pizzeria was starting to empty finally. So it should be fine.

Saphira did know that the group of trespassers that entered the building a few days ago didn't get eaten. At least, not all of them, as there turned out to be twelve people in that group. That was a lot of people, and the animatronics have only eaten five. So the last seven might be given to the new animatronics, as that would be compromise. But she didn't know if that is what will happen. The new animatronics may still want fresh blood.

And all the animatronics have said that I have the sweetest scent. I'm definitely going to have issues tonight I think.

Saphira shivered as she honestly was not looking forward to it. She hoped that she could still get off on a good note with the new animatronics, as she didn't want to believe that they would be evil. None of the other animatronics were, so there was no way she was going to believe that to be the case for these ones. That would just be wrong to assume that.

She tried not to think about it over the next couple hours as she casually looked through the cameras. She stopped when she looked through the camera with Springtrap in one of the rooms in the Haunted Classroom. He looked miserable. He was doing the bare minimum when it came to interacting with the guests, and she knew his mind was on her. She really wanted to tell him how sorry she was, but she had to wait. Wait for when the time was right. If there ever was a right time.

When it was fifteen minutes to twelve, the last of the employees finally went home, and Saphira immediately walked out of the office once they left. Saphira wanted to have company with the animatronics right now, as she knew that the new animatronics would arrive soon. She almost ran down the hallway to the dining room as she opened the door and stepped inside quickly to see that Bonnie and Freddy were walking towards the door right now.

"I see you have the same idea," Freddy commented in amusement with a smile on his face when he saw her. Saphira smiled back at him and nodded with a giggle. "You seem a bit nervous. It will be okay."

"But...they will be aggressive, won't they?" Saphira asked nervously as they approach her. "You all have said the first week is the hardest, so I guess the first night..."

"I would not say aggressive, but we are the most hungry for flesh. And because of that..." Bonnie lightly tapped her nose with his index finger, making her giggle in surprise. "This might not be the most pleasant idea, but you might want to get some vinegar and rub it over your arms." Saphira grimaced as that sounded like a bad idea. "I know it has a unpleasant smell, but that is what will save you from being attacked, Saphira. We hate the smell, and it is strong, and lasts a long time. Long enough that they won't even look at you."

"And what if it doesn't work?"

Bonnie tilts his head slightly in curiosity to Saphira's question. "Interesting, I am surprised you seem uncertain. When the nightmare animatronics arrived, you were super positive about them. But it seems you aren't about these ones. I hope your perspective about us isn't changing.. Though I guess I can see that this is more to do with Afton than us. That would make more sense."

"Argh, I think the lass is right to be worried, mates," Foxy said as he jumped off his stage to walk over with Chica. "We all 'ave 'ah a very different time when we first arrived. We aren't aggressive, never were. But these new lads may not be the same as us. We should expect them to be different."

"I guess you might be right, but we can't judge someone until we get to know them," Bonnie said to Foxy slowly as he thought about what might happen later that night. "But I guess there is a point...especially since...well...Afton did have his Freddles attack you not long ago, Saphira. And time is passing quite quickly, in my opinion, and he might be getting impatient." Saphira nodded as that was the reason why she was nervous. "Well, the vinegar might still help..."

"It might. I guess I have to figure out where it is." Saphira shrugged with a smile. "I suppose I should check the other cleaning closets and the kitchen...otherwise, I am not sure what else I could use to mask my scent. I suspect perfume won't be good." The animatronics shook their heads. "Hmm...I guess only Springtrap noticed." Bonnie raised an eyebrow at her and she chuckled softly. "Don't worry...uh, do you want to come with me? I actually don't know if I want to..." She gasped as she was startled by a sudden loud rumble from outside the pizzeria and turned to see headlights shining in through the front doors before moving away. "Why now? Why not later?"

"I guess he doesn't want you to wait long." Freddy glared at the front door for a moment before he thought on what to do. "Will she have time to find some vinegar?" Bonnie shook his head as he did think she will. "Well this is just grand."

Saphira shivered a little as she thought about going to the loading docks, but something told her that was a bad idea. "Um...I hope that Afton will just drop them off and leave..." She backed away from the door nervously, and jumped when she backed into Chica, who was also startled by Saphira's reaction. "Sorry, Chica. I didn't see you behind me."

Chica tilts her head and smiles at her. "It is okay, Saphira. I can see you are very nervous about it. We all can, and we are completely on your side on this." She winked at her before the animatronics all face the door as they could hear the back door opening. Saphira could not, but she certainly believed them. "Sounds like he is backing the truck into the dock right now. I wonder how he will unload them. Usually, he brings them into the dining room and opens the pods for them to get out on their own."

"Good point." Bonnie frowned as that was something they had not considered. "I can hear the voices of both Mike and Afton too. Mike sounds angry." Saphira looked at Bonnie curiously as she had not realized how good their hearing was. The animatronics were all listening intently, and Saphira could not help but feel afraid by their uncertain expressions. "I can hear Mike talking about you and Springtrap specifically, Saphira. Seems like he's frustrated with Afton about you and him."

"He is?" Saphira jumped and turned in surprise to see Springtrap. She didn't even hear him coming, though the animatronics did not flinch, so they must have noticed Springtrap walking over. "Why would Mike be frustrated about me and Saphira? That is kind of odd and specific." His silver eyes glance at Saphira for a moment before looking away quickly. "Though we have known there is something Afton wants."

"Yeah." Saphira nodded in agreement, even though she didn't know what Springtrap was thinking right now. "Um...I'm worried now...um..." She glanced at the animatronics and jumped when she noticed all the other animatronics standing around her. "Okay, you guys are standing around me, and that's nice. But I do need a bit of room."

"You will get it, we just want to listen," Mangle said as she, Phantom Mangle and Nightmare Mangle cling to the ceiling of the room. "Woah!" Her ears twitch as she looked surprised by something. "I am not going to repeat what Mike just said right then..."

"What did he say?" Saphira asked quickly, interrupting the animatronic who looked at her with a frown. "Mangle, I think I should hear what he said." She shook her head and Saphira turned to Bonnie. "Bonnie?" He glanced back at her sighed softly. "Surely you can tell me. Is it really that bad that I should keep my ears covered?" Bonnie seemed hesitant on responding to her.

Springtrap rolled his eyes as he thought it was silly they would not tell her. "Well..." Saphira looked at him immediately upon hearing him. "Mike pretty much told Afton that he is not sure what kind of prize he thinks will come from you and I, but this is taking too long. Whatever that is supposed to me." Saphira stared at Springtrap for a moment as that was something she had not heard. Springtrap frowned a little and looked away from her. "I am not lying to you, Saphira, that is exactly what he said. Plus, he had some very unkind words regarding me and you as well. In terms of how pathetic we are."

Saphira looked back at the door with a frown as she thought on what prize Afton was for from her and Springtrap. "Prize...prize, prize, prize..." Springtrap looked back at her as he noticed her thinking about it. "From the both of us..." She bit her lower lip as she thought more on it before she thought of what he might mean and placed her hand on her stomach as the realization hit her. "Oh no..."

Springtrap tilts his head slightly as he became curious. He had watched her place her hand on her stomach, and he didn't understand. "Come on, Saphira, I highly doubt the prize has anything to do with me biting your flesh." She looked at him in confusion for a moment before looking away. "Well...whatever it is...I highly doubt..." He paused for a moment as he listened to what might be happening. "Hmm...according to Afton, everything is on track."

On track? What the...but...the only prize I can now honestly think of right now...Afton doesn't want Springtrap and I to...well...

Saphira could not help but glance down at Springtrap's hip for a moment before she blushed and looked away. She was well aware that the animatronics had the reproductive equipment, but she didn't know of any other detail. However, given that the animatronics did have organs, and it was possible that their DNA was crafted by Afton to the point he could have ensured the DNA could be reproduced through reproductive methods...Saphira tugged at her collar as she couldn't help but wonder if the animatronics were able to reproduce. She knew that Foxy and Mangle had a deep, intimate relationship, and there has not been a baby animatronic. That might have been a choice Afton made about the female animatronics. But...the male animatronics might be different.

I hope I am wrong...because that only makes me want to keep my distance from Springtrap even more...

Fredbear had been watching Saphira curiously as he did not know what she might have worked out. And given how uncomfortable she seemed, and that her hand was still on her stomach, that made him think she's worked out the end goal. "You've worked out what he wants." She looked at Fredbear with a start and stared at him. "Haven't you?" Saphira nodded silently and looked down fearfully. "Hmm...well I guess we can ask about it later. We can hear the pods being rolled off the truck right now. I hear Afton going on about how these new animatronics might deal with you Saphira."

"That's just extra comfort that I don't need," Saphira said in a sarcastic tone with a frown. Fredbear smirked slightly at her sarcasm, even though it was not meant to be funny. "I just hope you guys can stop them on a rampage."

"We most definitely can." Nightmare walked closer to Saphira and wrapped his arm around her shoulders, making her look at him. "You will see. And I don't think anyone has really said anything, but that outfit is really nice on you tonight." Saphira looked down and smiled at him. "And that side pony is quite cute as well. I am glad you are getting comfortable enough to show your style. I am not sure what you wore as a kid, but I imagine it was different."

Saphira thought back to when she was a child and shook her head. "I don't think. I've always liked the darker colours. It just seems to suit me better. But thank you for the compliment." She was glad that she had a compliment about her outfit. "Though I am not sure if this was a good time to say something...considering..."

"It might be the only time if we get some big, angry animatronics trying to turn you into a snack," Nightmare points out as he interrupted Saphira. "So I think it is the best time." He looked at the door with a frown and the animatronics shifted a little as they seemed to become defensive. "What...I think the animatronics are awake. I heard a growl...oh...one is called Jack-O-Freddy."

Saphira wasn't too surprised. Given the theme throughout the whole horror attraction, and the fact she had seen the animatronics without their outer casings too, she did not doubt that the names fitted the animatronics fine. "I guess that means Jack-O-Chica, Jack-O-Bonnie and Jack-O-Foxy are the other ones...hmm...I wonder what they are going to look like."

"If the jack-o-lanterns are anything to go by..." Nightmare Freddy picked up one of the jack-o-lanterns with a frown. "I guess we can assume they are going to have some sort of similarity in colour at least." He looked at the door with a slight flinch as they all could hear the animatronics. "Uh oh...seems like Afton and Mike were wearing something to deter the animatronics from going after them...I can hear them..."

Saphira heard the footsteps of the animatronics running down the hallway as well. She stepped back nervously, and Springtrap shifted to stand in front of Saphira as his body tensed. The footsteps of the new animatronics were heavy, but quick. She really did not know what to expect with these new animatronics, as she was nervous about meeting them. She wished that she had time to get the vinegar, but clearly, she wouldn't be given that courtesy.

"Should I...maybe find somewhere to hide?" Saphira asked softly as she leaned slightly towards Springtrap. "I don't particularly want to be in the middle of animatronics fighting. You guys are all still a lot bigger and stronger than me."

"That might be the case, but if you run, the animatronics will not listen if they are locked onto your scent and ready to kill," Springtrap responded to Saphira in a stern, but gentle tone. "Having all of us surrounding you like this will make a bigger impact." He glanced down at the base of the door as they noticed an orange light glowing from the gap. "Interesting..." He looked at the door as it began to shake from the approaching animatronics. "Hopefully, we can give a warm enough welcome."

Saphira didn't respond, though she stepped closer to Springtrap and cautiously wrapped her arms around his right arm. Springtrap glanced at her with a slight frown, though he didn't try to pull away. He could feel her trembling, and he knew not to let her down, even though he wanted to pull away. Springtrap was still ready and willing to protect her though. He will want to talk to her later, but only when he was ready.

The door slammed opened, and Saphira covered her eyes for a moment as there was bright light of orange glowing through the doorway, and the other animatronics seemed surprised too. But the light quickly dimmed, and this allowed Saphira to see the four new animatronics. Four that seemed to be extremely surprised to see the many animatronics in front of them surrounding the girl. For the moment, they seemed to ignore the scent of the human to look at each animatronic in surprise. But Saphira didn't know how long that would last as she observed the new animatronics with curiosity.
