I do not own any of this. Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.
The harsh, cold, unforgiving winter is in full swing in the town of Royal Woods; a couple feet of snow covered the ground and branches of both trees and bushes, harsh winds brings in cold temperatures, and ice has covered some areas of asphalt with some that are not salted making it very easy for unsuspecting people to slip and fall.
People who live here are very used to the harsh Michigan winters and do the very best they can to endure it. Many can't wait for spring to arrive, but some couldn't take the cold and outright decided to take a nice, warm vacation down south; mainly in Florida or the islands of Hawaii.
For the Louds, who are all warmed up in their home. They to are also hoping to join in on the vacation train; for you see today is a big moment for the family as they all gathered around in Lynn's and Rita's room, all watching in anticipation as the patriarch of the family placed in the last few quarters into the water jug holding their vacation savings.
It was always a big event when the money jug is completely filled up as it always takes a long time to fill it up to the very top, usually up to a couple months or half a year. It especially seems to take even longer, when they are saving the money up for a certain destination in mind.
Just like all of the other times of having a goal in mind. They each took up jobs to earn the money from: Luna and Luan doing shows for parties or special events, Lynn taking up a coaching job at the gym which was a bit intense for those who had her, Lola and Lana selling hand made crafts, Lisa using both her chemicals and inventions to create a dance floor at the mall, Lori and Leni taking up a dog walking service that usually ended up with both of them getting dragged all over town, Lucy doing more of her funeral services for long lost pets, and finally Lincoln and Lilly selling off Lilly's works of art.
And while the siblings have been hard at work. Their parents were also busy on raising the money by doing overtime at both of their respectful jobs, something that more than once caused them both to fall asleep instantly the moment they laid down on their bed.
Overall; it was hard work for all of them, but the hard work has been very much worth it once Lynn Sr. placed the last quarter into the jug. "And that's a million and ten in total. Giving us the perfect amount of money for are dream vacation."
Loud cheers are immediately let out from the rest of the family. After all this time. Finally! Just finally they can say goodbye to this cold weather and hello to the warm, tropical air of the vacation they've been dreaming of ever since last year.
The excitement is so great that some of the siblings hugged each other tightly, while some; like Lynn does their signature victory dance. Lincoln at that moment, reached up and hi-fived both Lana and Luna before finally noticing the readers.
"Oh sorry. I didn't see you there. Your probably wondering on what we are so excited about. Well, I'll gladly tell you for this is a major moment for the Loud family. How you may ask? Well, it's because for the first time. We are going on a vacation to a island. Not just any island mind you. It's the fabulous and the very new vacation destination." Pausing for dramatic effect, Lincoln reaches over to the bedside table and picked up a brochure with a sandy beach, palm trees with a hammock in-between two of them, and a sunset over the ocean, painted on the cover. "Isle Donnerall! A tropical paradise for all families, which definitely includes us."
Opening up the brochure just to show some of the attractions featured. Lincoln excitedly points to a resort that has a large pool with a crazy light green waterslide, a Go-kart course, hang gliding, hiking trails to the top of one of the large mountains, dinner at the beach, and so much more attractions they will all have fun with.
"As you can see. This is an awesome place and is going to be worth every penny once we get there. But now you're probably wondering on how we heard of this place? You see; it all happened last year. We were all sitting down watching TV, when the commercial for Isle Donnerall played, showing off several of the attractions as well as a shot of a family hanging out at the beach. What can I say next, other than the fact that the place has completely captured us in its charm. And so, we all worked are butts off to gain the money and now at last we reached our goal. Now the Loud family can go to Isle Donnerall for a nice, relaxing vacation. If you excuse me now. I need to get back to celebrating." Doing just that, Lincoln rejoined his sisters in victorious cheers.
Their parents in meantime; waited patiently for the joyful celebration to die down to the very last cheer before Rita raised her hand up to get back their full attention. "We all did a very good job on earning this money. We all worked hard, sacrificed on some spendings, but most of all; you can see on how we can achieved our goal when everyone pitches in together."
"And because of that. We can all go on the luxury vacation of are dreams." Lynn Sr. can practically taste that beach side dinner right now.
"Like totes. Like, I can totally; already feel the sun on my body." Through her imagination, Leni sees herself and Lori sun tanning themselves at the side of the pool.
"I heard they have a five star massage in the resort." A joyful sigh escapes Lola from the wonderful thought. "My body can definitely use a massage after all the hard work I do for my pageants." She is really looking forward to the treatment on her arms. Last week's cowgirl's pageant had really tired them out from the amount of times she practiced lassoing, which wasn't as easy as it seemed like it was on both movies and TV.
"I don't know about you? But that waterslide is calling my name." Lana was definitely going to go down it more than once. Perhaps a zillion times.
"And while you that. I'm going to beat my old cannonball record." Lynn boosted with the goal of making a splash that will reach up to the third floor balcony.
"Well, I am literally going to hit the golf course." Having read that the golf course had several of the most difficult holes that only true golfers can get a good score on. Lori is more than ready to test her skills on the challenge. She'll show that course who is a true golfer at heart.
"I heard the place has a huge concert hall. Dudes. I can have the raddest jam sessions." Swinging her guitar to her front, Luna plays a few loud notes in excitement; all the while her roommate placed on a sock puppet and danced it around a bit, entertaining both Lilly and Leni.
"I've read that they have a comedy room with the best comedians attending this weekend." This was Luan's chance to witness the best of the best preform, and maybe, perhaps maybe. She can impress them all with her own comedy routine. It would really help Luan step up her comedy career if they all love her act.
"You know. It's actually pretty impressive on how quickly human activity had developed on such a young island." Lisa spoke up.
"Young?" Lana repeated. How can a island be young?
"You see Lana. The island formed about in the middle of the twentieth century, more precisely at the end of the 20's. The volcanic activity had been very impressive with reports of ash rising above the rivers of magma, that continue to flow way into the beginning of the 60's, where much of the volcanic activity finally ended; leaving the island into the shape we all know it today. Now people have only began to inhabit the island once it was fertile enough for plant life to flourish, which was very good for the farmers. Over the next coming years; the island only had a village built on its southern tip, it wasn't until early 2009; that the construction of our holiday destination began." Ending her educational lecture, Lisa raised her glasses back into position with the joyful thought that her family are very fascinated with her brief history of the island.
Honestly though; many of her siblings got tuned off by her lecture, after the talk about the volcanic activity ending. They couldn't help it. The more interesting thoughts of their time over there was way more interesting than a history lesson, but now; it was time for the most important question of them all.
"So when are we leaving for our trip?" Leni asked.
"It's Monday right now, so we are planning on leaving this coming weekend. That way; will have plenty of time to plan out on what we are going to do there. Right along with making the preparations on what to pack for the trip." Rita replied. She already knew that she and Lynn would probably need to help some of their kids pack their things, but hopefully, if all things go according to schedule. They will all be ready to go by this Friday.
"But first. Who's up for a quick conga line to celebrate." Lynn Sr. joyfully offered for it's not everyday the family gets to go on a exciting, out of the country trip.
His family happily agreed and all join in a conga line ranging from oldest to youngest. All of them were singing in joy about going on vacation. They traveled all over the house, while repeatedly singing that they were going on vacation. Upon reaching the second floor hallway, Lincoln momentarily stop to re-address the readers.
"There you have it folks. The Louds are going on a tropical island vacation."
"I hope, I get to witness a shark attack." Lucy then spoke up, creeping her brother out a bit. "Yeah... anyway."
Rejoining the song; the family are just about to go downstairs, when Mr. Grouse's voice suddenly cut them all off. "Louds! Cease that annoying singing!"
"Oops. I guess we overdid it a bit." Rita commented.
