I remember the stories mom told me. How I was a mistake, that one was my favorite, because it always ended with her telling me I was her favorite mistake. My parents are two gods you would never think would go together, Zagreus and Macaria. I remember cuddling with mom before bed each night, the just afterlives she enabled to people being my lullaby. I am, Macie.

I am now being followed by a bloodthirsty chimera. Most people probably saw a rabid dog, but this fire-breathing monster, definitely isn't one. I ran through the streets playing jumprope with the snakehead that is the tail, while simultainously dodgeing fire, wanna play? It's called jumprope hardcore mode. I cut a corner and hid in the underworld, a cool perk about being a kid of Macaria, even just a halfblood, you're able to teleport into the underworld, anywhere.

I walked until I found the familier passage my uncle used to take to travel to camp from the underworld and back. I climbed inside and stumbled out, tired and shattered from today's and yesterday's events, thanks Zues! I heard a scream and took a second to access how this must look to them, I'm tall for a woman. Probably five ten to six feet and my long white hair must be matted and dirty, with burnt clothes. I got up and wiped blood from my hand on my pants and greeted them.

"Hello, I'm Macie, and no I won't force you to give me offerings." I added as an afterthought, almost as a joke. I looked around and looked above my head, nothing so far, great. I walked over to my mothers cabin and sat down. I kicked off my shoes and layed down in one of the preoccupied beds.

I was about to go to sleep, lousy thing, a human body, needing rest. Then one of my half- sisters confronted me. "That's my bed, if you need one the Hermes cabin has plenty, or if you're really stubborn there's one over there." She was trying to intimidate me, her spear was in her hand, she was intentionally posed for attack. I closed my eyes and said near silently. "Bow down and I will give it to you, sister, or sleep in the other bed."

I heard her grumble and her sword move as she knelt down. To be honest I expected more of a fight, but when it becomes her time her soul will be spared. I got up and moved to the last bunk, it was easy to make mine as I could easily hang things, though I had nothing to hang.
