Naruto walked into the training grounds one hour later than they should be there and saw his 'teammates' were already there, looking half-way asleep. When they noticed him, they both glared and Sakura shot to her feet. "YOU ARE LATE! SENSEI TOLD US TO BE HERE AT 5!" shouted Sakura. Naruto waved his hand nonchalantly and said. "As long as I'm here before sensei I didn't do anything wrong. Now, if you excuse me, I need to do something."

He then walked into the forest and ignored the stares he got from them. He returned forty-five minutes with thoughtful look on his face as he held something in his right hand. It was 43' long with most of it made of wood with some metal pipe coming out of it. The two of them didn't know what it was and only saw Naruto strap it on his back as their sensei appeared. "Good morning!" said Kakashi.

After Sakura shouted at him for being late and Kakashi saying some half-hearted excuse, he explained the test. "You have time until noon. Three. Two. One. GO!" said Kakashi and each of them disappeared, leaving Kakashi there alone.

He meanwhile pulled out his book from pocket but couldn't focus on reading it, thinking about what Naruto had on his back. 'I can't believe that Hokage-sama already told Naruto about his parents. But even then, why does he have that gun? I remember Minato-sensei told me about it btu he said it wasn't finished. Could it mean that Naruto finished it in such short time?' thought Kakashi.

He couldn't think so much about it as soon he heard metal hitting ground and changed position with a clone. It proved to be right choice as he saw his clone being hit into neck and poof instantly. Gulping slightly, Kakashi felt cold sweat appear on his forehead. 'I can't get hit by that at any means.' Thought Kakashi.

With Naruto

He was sitting on the tree around 200 feet from where they started. While it was his first time shooting at living and moving target, he was glad that he was able to hit him, even through it was a bad shot and it wasn't a real person.

Naruto wiped his forehead from sweat and sat with his back against the tree. "That should be enough to keep him on high alert. Probably won't even look for me, thinking that I'm watching his movement." Muttered Naruto.

It wasn't even ten minutes from when he shoot at Kakashi when he heard scream going off in distance. Naruto couldn't help but sigh at that and jumped to another tree and saw Kakashi standing above unconscious Sakura. Taking a deep breath, Naruto pulled the trigger and shot at Kakashi. He clicked his tongue as he saw Kakashi again change position with his clone and jumped away.

Before noon

Naruto was jumping from tree to tree as he cursed underneath his breath. His teammates proved to be useless even though he saved them from few dangerous situations. Right now, Sasuke was buried in ground while Sakura fainted next to him from seeing him like that. So it was left on him.

Stopping on the branch, Naruto closed his eyes and put his index and middle-fingers into cross sign. "Kage bunshin no Jutsu" muttered Naruto and saw clone appear before him. Pulling his rifle from his back, Naruto gave it to clone and said. "Cover me." The clone nodded and Naruto jumped towards where he felt Kakashi's presence.

He saw him standing on clearing before Sasuke and took a deep breath. He jumped high into the sky and dropped next to Kakashi, pointing his gun towards Kakashi's head. "Give me the bells, or I will kill you." Said Naruto calmly.

He saw Kakashi look at him from the side of his eye and Naruto shook his head. "I wouldn't recommend you try anything. I have clone aiming at you right now, ready to pierce your skull with a bullet. I know you know what these weapons can do, so give them to me." Said Naruto.

Kakashi sighed and gave him the bells. Naruto looked at them and when he proved that they were real he nodded and pulled his gun away. He then pointed it at Sasuke and said. "You are welcome to try whatever you want, Uchiha. But your civilian backers can't do a shit about it." He then shot next to his head, making sure to prove his point.

He then looked at Kakashi and said. "As you could see, this team has no future in working together. But only so you would be saved from grilling later. I will be giving my bells to my teammates and will leave back to academy."

Kakashi's eye widened when Naruto said that and thought. 'He knew the whole time? It's like he is Nara clansman. What else are you hiding, Naruto?' Kakashi sighed and said. "As Naruto showed he was willing to sacrifice his rank for you two, there is at least little chance. You are dismissed." He then disappeared, thinking about Naruto's progress.

Naruto looked at his teammates and just left, knowing they wouldn't accept his help anyways.

Elsewhere

All Jonin senseis were standing in Hokage's office as they waited for Kakashi. It wasn't even ten minutes when he came inside and they saw him being deep in his thoughts. That wasn't something usual for him but they waited for Hokage to talk with him.

"Kakashi-kun, report." Said Hiruzen, smiling at the thought of Naruto's team test. This snapped Kakashi back to reality and he nodded. "They passed but only because Naruto was able to take bells from me and knew the real purpose behind it."

This surprised everyone and after a while Hiruzen coughed to get their attention. "Well, this concludes genin exams. We have 3 teams out of 9 passing genin exams, even if in such a bad cooperation. Before I dismiss you, I expect that all of you will give me written report on your team's exam so I can decide what they should be taught at academy." Said Hiruzen. All of the Jonins nodded their heads and after that started to leave the office.
