Jon and Matthew are now waking up in bed and went to the bathroom to brush his teeth. Then, they spit the toothpaste out of their mouth and put their toothbrush away. They are about to have a Thanksgiving dinner as a matter of fact. Their mom is making turkey of course. Let's hope Jon will be having a good thanksgiving dinner with his family.

"Morning, mom" said Jon.

"Good morning, Jon" said Mrs. Cruz.

"What are you making?" Jon asked.

"I am making turkey" said Mrs. Cruz.

"That smells good, mom" said Jon. "In fact, I like having turkey"

"Today is Thanksgiving Day" said Mrs. Cruz.

"I didn't know that" said Jon.

"Now you remember" said Mrs. Cruz. "Can you call out your brother?"

"I sure will, mom" said Jon. "Please come downstairs"

"I'll be right there" said Matthew.

"Okay, Matthew" said Jon.

Matthew came downstairs and saw his mom making turkey.

"I am smelling something" said Matthew.

"It is just mom making turkey" said Jon.

"For what?" Matthew asked.

"For our Thanksgiving dinner" said Jon.

"They are showing the Thanksgiving Day parade on TV" said Matthew.

"I saw it now" said Jon. "Look at the balloon shaped like a turkey"

"It usually appeared every single year" said Matthew.

"I have already done the cranberry sauce" said Jon.

"Turkey is ready" said Mrs. Cruz.

Jon and Matthew went to the table and began eating their Thanksgiving dinner.

"This looks delicious, mom" said Jon.

"I know, kids" said Mrs. Cruz. "Thank you for helping me doing a Thanksgiving dinner"

"Anytime, mom" said Jon. "This is a good turkey"

"I am glad you liked the turkey" said Mrs. Cruz.

"Can you pass me the mashed potatoes?" Matthew asked.

Jon gave the mashed potatoes to Matthew.

"Thanks" said Matthew.

Later, Jon and the rest of his family has finished eating Thanksgiving dinner.

"That was a lot, Jon" said Matthew.

"Yes, it was" said Jon. "After all, we have a few pieces of turkey left for our friends"
