Just like Naruto asked him to do, Hiruzen postponed the council meeting for one week. He didn't know the reason for it but decided to believe that Naruto can do something about the Uchiha heir and his greedy personality.
Right now, he was sitting on his seat inside of council room along with every councilor. The council room was large to say the lease. It was big enough to fit at least two hundred people sitting next to each other. In the middle of the room was a large U-shaped table made from dark wood. On the left side of the Hokage's chair were sitting civilians that made civilian council. They were mostly people from rich families or some merchants.
Behind Hokage's chair were three chairs for elders' council that was supposed to help Hokage with decisions. On his right side was military side of council, consisting of Shinobi council and commander of ANBU and Jonins. Shinobi council was made out of clan heads of main clans in Konoha. They sat in a way that represented their clans' genin team lineup. First were Inuzuka clan, Aburame Clan and Hyuuga clan. Next were Yamanaka clan, Nara clan and Akimichi clan. And the last four chairs were empty, belonging to clans that were wiped out. Uchiha, Senju, Uzumaki and Namikaze clans.
As Hiruzen sat there, he coughed to get attention of everyone and said. "Now that we are all here, let's begin with this meeting. This meeting has only one matter to talk about and that's the supposed robbery of Uchiha clan's weapons and techniques by Genin Uzumaki Naruto. If anyone has something to say about it, please speak up one after another."
They all nodded their heads and Nara clan head, Nara Shikaku, asked. "Can I ask what kind of weapons and techniques are we talking about?" Civilians looked at him and one of the richer members said. "The weapon we are talking about is-"
His sentence was cut off by something flying before him and a metal hitting ground. "The weapon is this. My family spent generations on tinkering this weapon and I was finally able to put it all together." said voice of Naruto who stepped into the room with his weapon placed on his shoulder.
When clan heads saw the weapon, their eyes widened as it could only mean one thing. The civilians turned to Naruto and shouted. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE, DEMON!" Naruto smirked at them and said. "What? I think it's part of my right to defend myself in case someone wants to take something from me."
Hiruzen saw that civilians were about to do something stupid and said. "Naruto-kun, I see that you was able to finish that rifle. Do you have anything to say to the matter of you being accused of being theft?"
Naruto shook his head and said. "I don't need to say anything and I can't prove that those weapons are mine." The civilians started to look triumphally and demanded. "Then you shall return those weapons to Sasuke-sama along with techniques you stole. And you shall also pay Sasuke-sama a rightful price for damage on his property."
Before Naruto could say anything, another voice sounded. "And why would he need to do that?" Just then into the room came an elderly man wearing a grey kimono with a scroll in his hand. Behind him came two guards, both clothed in dark green colors and both having weapons similar to Naruto's on their back.
"Who are you?! Are you defending that demon?!" shouted one merchant. The elderly man coughed as he stepped next to Naruto. "So the situation is even worse than you described, Naruto-san." Naruto only nodded his head and stepped back. The man then looked at Hiruzen and bowed slightly.
"Sandaime Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen, my name is Kayato Hiro and I'm here as a representative of Daimyo-sama." said man. This made every shinobi in the room straighten up because that would mean Daimyo has something to say to this matter.
Hiro coughed again and said. "Earlier this week, we got a scroll from Konohagakure no Sato, saying that someone is accusing Naruto-san of theft without any evidence. Daimyo-sama was intrigued by this and when he read what was going on, he asked some of his generals what they can make out of this situation. And this is his verdict."
He then unrolled the scroll and coughed. "After a thoughtful investigation of this matter and after me and my generals went through files related to weapons such as the one Naruto-san owns, I came to conclusion. With the authority of Daimyo of Hi no Kuni, I hereby announce that Genin Uzumaki Naruto will be stripped of all accusations against him for stealing the weapons of Uchiha clan. Along with that, if there is ever meeting Uzumaki Naruto is discussed, one of my representatives will need to be on that meeting. Doing otherwise will result in Konoha's funds being reduced by 5% each time." finished Hiro and rolled the scroll back.
The reactions of councils were different. Shinobi council was shocked as what Daimyo declared would make Naruto protected almost at the same level as Hokage himself. But after thinking it over, they understood the reason behind it if Naruto was really from that family.
On other hand, Civilian council was in uproar from such announcement. After all, if Naruto was under protection of Daimyo, then their plans were in pieces. So they did what they do best on the meetings, they started to shout about how that wasn't true that they made those fake scrolls and that Daimyo-sama couldn't approve of that.
With Hokage and his elder council it was something different. Hiruzen looked at Naruto with hands crossed before his face, thinking about what was going on, while elders were talking about what was going to happen now.
After a minute of hearing civilians shout, Hiruzen slammed his fist on table and announced. "If civilian council has some strong evidence that this announcement from Daimyo-sama is false then bring it before me." said Hiruzen. When not a single soul gave him anything, he said. "Seeing as this is the will of Daimyo-sama, I can't question his judgement. Of course, you must realize in what situation I am right now, Hiro-san. So, you won't mind if I send a scroll to Daimyo-sama, will you?" asked Hiruzen.
Hiro shook his head and said. "No I don't, Sandaime-dono. Though I ask you to not send it with just anyone. As this is a matter of political situation, I suggest you put your best men on this so nothing can happen on the way to the Capital."
Hiruzen nodded at that and then coughed. "Since it's Daimyo-sama's decision, from now on Genin Uzumaki Naruto will be represented on this council whenever the matter of the meeting has some connection to him. I guess Hiro-san will be the one representing him." said Hiruzen. Hiro shook his head and said. "No, I'm not the one, Sandaime-dono. Daimyo-sama heard about the situation around Naruto-san and how he was treated in this village and to say the least, he is displeased with the outcome. But knowing the risk, he made a special team to take care of representing Naruto-san and they should arrive in few days. I strongly advise to anyone who thinks he can take care of this by eliminating the representatives that their guards are top-notch warriors. Same with my guards, they got their weapons from Naruto-san's family and were training with them for their whole life. Their guards are part of Daimyo-sama's own guards so they are prepared for anything. And in the end, doing such a thing would only lead to being killed for treason against Daimyo of Hi no Kuni."
This froze everyone in the room as everyone thought he was the one who will be representing Naruto. To hear that Daimyo created special team must mean that he thinks of Naruto as someone whose life was more important than anyone's else.
Hiro saw their looks of shock and just said. "Daimyo-sama will explain everything once the time comes. Try to not anger him until then. Farewell." He then turned around and left the room with his guards behind him.
Naruto looked around the room and saw everyone looking at him. He strapped the gun on his back and said. "I will take this as my que to leave. See you later."
