Kiara walked down the dock to where Sarah was sitting, biting her nails. "Hey Sarah" "Rafe is at tannyhill" Kiara's heart starting beating faster "what! Did he see you" "no no. But I'm sure he is having the cross delivered to Wilmington tonight."
everyone was supposed to meet up at the shack and Kiara as usual was there first. She heard the familiar noise of a dirt-bike and smiled, she turned to see JJ parking his bike and looking around. When he saw her he smiled, she walked up to him and kissed him, when they pulled apart he said "I'm never not gonna love that" she went to kiss him again but he stopped her making her pout, "one thing" she became worried thinking he was gonna take it all back, "will you be my girlfriend" she let out a breath she didn't know she was holding and said "yes" "a second thing as well, with everything going on I just, maybe we could stay a secret. Not that I don't want to scream it from the rooftops but I just" she knew why, if everyone knows it's harder to lose so until she can make him believe she's never leaving him they can keep it a secret. "Sure, sounds kinda hot honestly" she says and he pretty much growls and kisses her passionately. He pushed her against the building which makes their bodies even closer making them both moan, he starts kissing down her neck making her arch her back, he gives her a love bite then another and she's sure he's gonna leave a hickey when they hear Sarah's voice a bit away. They pull apart fixing themselves and catching their breaths, luckily they both heard Sarah before she got over the hill so they had enough time to get themselves together.
they all talk and all agree to go to Wilmington tonight, popes gonna ask his dad for the truck which is gonna end horribly. After everyone left Kiara asked JJ "hey Jage can you help me convince my parents to let me go?" "Me?" He points to himself "yes you" "alright then to the JJmobile" she giggles at him which makes him smile.
when she walks in her mom greets her with "who were you with" it didn't seem mean more curious. her mom got her answer when JJ walked in behind her and her mom realized her daughter did not hear her as she was mid-conversation with JJ, "I'm just saying get a helmet" "I had a helmet" "and how did you break that one" there was a hint of teasing in her voice, "I broke it trying to surf on a treadmill" "there's JJ" he rolled his eyes but was smiling. "Kiara" her mother said getting the teens attention, "hey mom. Is dad home?" Kiara asks, "yeah he's upstairs. MIKE" he comes down the stairs and immediately sees JJ and it's like his eyes turned red for a second but he caught himself and put on his kook mask, "what's up" so she started explaining.
JJ was playing with the silverware when he heard Kiara call his name, "yep" "little help please" he sits up straighter and counts on his fingers "wards alive, he's living off of loot he stole from us, and uh yeah he's flying the cross in from Wilmington" Mike shakes his head, "give me a break man" "yeah right, what do I know though just saw it with my own two eyes so did Kiara" Mike puts his hands on his hips and says "I'm skeptical okay, I'm skeptical JJ as in I think it's all bullshit. I think you've been led astray kiara. And you JJ" Annas voice could be heard trying to calm Mike down, but he continued on "no no no no no let's get this out in the open, NO let me tell you something" he approaches JJ "you nee to understand that I do get it" JJ trying to keep his cool just says "sure you do" "I do, I like you JJ and I bet your freaking fun to hang with and go to the break, because I was once just like you bro, I didn't think that anything mattered that I can make up any bullshit story and these kooks would believe me" JJ heard Kiara but he was to focused on staying calm, "but then I learned about hard work and about what really mattered, all I care about ALL that I care about is my daughter that's it, and all that I know is that she was a lot better off before she met you and your friends" JJ heard Kiara easing her voice and an argument start but he was getting flashbacks of his father telling him he is trash and not worth anything, "NO" that broke him out of his trance and he faced Mike "these pouges have ruined my daughters life" "didn't mean any disrespect Mr. Carrara" JJ said through gritted teeth, JJ walks away and takes three deep breaths, was he right? Did he ruin Kiara's life? He heard Mike yelling "everyone says that he's a liar and a thief, that he's just like his father" JJ wanted to scream, he heard Kiara pleading his case then he saw Mike's money clip, if they think I'm a thief I'll be one, he thought, he put it in his pocket and was about to walk out when he felt someone's hand grab his arm, he turned around alarmed but it was just Kiara, "it's just me Jage" she says calmly and her mom was right behind her watching with curious eyes. "Kiara wait" she grabbed her daughters arm and says "I promised myself that if you came back I would be different and I'm trying to be different" "I know mom I gotta go" "take this" she hands Kiara a phone "there's a credit card in the back, you call me if you need help ok" "ok mom I gotta go" Kiara turns towards JJ, "come on, to the JJmobile" she says trying to get a smile out of him and she succeeds. They get on his bike and she apologizes "I already know what they think of me" "they think the same about me" he smiles and turns towards her and asks "you ready" her eyes flick down to his lips and she nods "yeah" they drive off.
