Dear Diary , I swear to god I should stop beginning it like that , I'm not 18 anymore. This is the first month of my , my wife's and my husband's worries. Well not completely sure about the last part. Like I was saying Akatsuki hasn't been home for the last 31 days and I begin to completely lose my mind over worrying about him , first he gets engaged after meeting a girl for like 4 hours ? After that he had to fight , at least he told us the truth about how he feels so something good came out of it. It just feels that everything falls on my back. My boy is out there completely alone , except his fiancé with the red hair. Her name is Suletta and it seems that Akatsuki enjoys her company. But he was right , he would stick with people of his kind. I need to talk with some people about it. This could be a beautiful propaganda poster showing that we can stand proud in front of the Inner Rim. Also a chance to fight their influences. At least it's easier to push for that instead of fighting with Martian Central Army officials that want to push for obligatory military service for 17 year olds. CHAPTER 5 : TRAINING
"So much history emanating from just a single suit , it can be felt by the sheer touch alone"-Nika said touching the freshly delivered Barbatos , and as she continued to analyze everything she could Chuchu walked up to her
"Nika , Nika , NIKA !"-Chuchu finally snapped her out of her trans
"What ?"-Nika asked turning towards her
"Maybe instead of fangirling over a 300-plus year old suit you could help us with unpacking those two ?"-Chuchu asked as Nika nodded in agreement
"Ok , but I'll come back to you later"-Nika said turning towards Barbatos before walking away with Chuchu
"All right , this is the last box. But to be honest i don't know why you carry so many swords around"-Ride said as he and Akatsuki managed to carry the last of his boxes to the Earth House. Akatsuki just smiled before looking at Suletta carrying her own boxes
"Lets just say i found an apprentice"-Akatsuki said before Ride looked at him confusedly
"Ok , anyways im returning to my mundane job of not doing anything. If you need help with maintenance or anything else just call , if you need something from home we have atlands cruising here every few days or so , just a call and you have it"-Ride said as Akatsuki smiled
"Thanks Uncle Ride , but now it's time to focus on something else"-Akatsuki said as Ride nodded
"Ok then , see ya kid"-Ride said before leaving the earth house. Akatsuki sighed and began to carry the boxes to his room assigned by Martin.
"Umm , Mr Akatsuki , why are you wiping a sword ? Or in another way why do you carry a sword ? Let alone two ?"-Lilique asked as Akatsuki was wiping two bokkens with a cloth
"Well , the reason is right there"-Akatsuki said pointing at Suletta wearing a tracksuit and a sports headband instead of her normal one running up to them
"I-am ready to learn Master Suki !"-Suletta exclaimed, bowing to him, causing confusion among the earth house members. Akatsuki got up and took out his own headband before tying it so that his hair wouldn't come on his eyes
"Good , let's go"-Akatsuki said before giving Suletta one of the bokkens and walking outside towards the nearest grass fields outside of the Earth House. As they reached it Akatsuki stood in front of Suletta before pointing his bokken at her
"Japanese swordsmanship is hard , but considering I learned the basics easy and later put my things in it you should have it easy , considering i'm giving you a 101 course"-Akatsuki said as Suletta nodded before he stepped back from her
"Let's see what we deal with it , attack me"-Akatsuki said as he took on his battle stance confusing Suletta
"W-What d-d-do you m-m-mean attack you !?"-Suletta stuttered as Akatsuki sighed
"Come on Suletta , you won't learn if you won't attack me. Don't worry I won't attack hard"-Akatsuki said as Suletta rushed at him with a roar as Akatsuki quickly countered her every single blow before taking out her weapon and sending her to the grass with a swift kick. Akatsuki helped her up before letting out a yawn
"Looks like we have a lot of work"-Akatsuki said as Suletta immediately bowed
"I-I-I'm sorry !"-Suletta said before quickly grabbing her bokken back
"Don't worry Suletta , we're just going to walk through the basics quickly. After that we'll see what you can come up with , remember simply what you did with the beam sabers"-Akatsuki said as Suletta nodded. And for the next few hours they spent their time on the grass training , Akatsuki taught her all the basics and their sparing time slowly extended from 15 seconds , to 30 , to 35 , to 45 seconds. And as they spent that time together Akatsuki was surprised by two things , one was his fiancé's incredible stamina as she took beating after beating and got up , the other was how she was memorising everything with an accuracy being somewhere around 98%. And in few hours of training she managed to put a few hits on him with only Akatsuki's experience giving him the upper hand and Suletta's inexperience leading to her downfall. And as the digitized sunset was beginning to appear the two stepped in front of each other for the last sparring before bowing towards each other , just like in those old movies Akatsuki used to watch as a kid. Before taking their battle stances waiting for someone to make their first move. Akatsuki rushed with his bokken to slash Suletta to bits before she countered it with a block as the two clashed their swords with Akatsuki pushing Suletta to the defence. But Suletta was trying to push back with her beginning to lose her cool and frantically pushed back against Akatsuki's offensive. Akatsuki meanwhile decided to focus on getting her stunned enough before finishing her off. He pushed her enough to quickly increase the frequency of given blows before jumping up high enough to get the high ground on her with Akatsuki seeing Suletta's surprised face before using the hilt to gently bonk her in the head before throwing her bokken away with his own bokken. But Suletta didn't give up as she took her brief hand-to-hand combat training Akatsuki gave her before hejumped away from her far enough putting his bokken away and with a quick kick finished off Suletta who fell on her butt.
"I , lost"-Suletta said as Akatsuki walked up to her with a smile and his hand extended
"It's just the first day , give it or take it two months and you will be more skilled than most dominicus pilots in swordsmanship and hand to hand combat. Besides that name sounds stupid"-Akatsuki said as Suletta got up before she huffed and turned away
"You cheated , you know I can't jump that high ! Stupid Martian gravity"-Suletta said in a way that Akatsuki considered cute in its way
"Well , considering your endurance to anything I could say we're even on those terms. Besides I can't jump that high in this climate , if we were on Mars I could probably jump over you"-Akatsuki said as he and Suletta began to laugh. Before grabbing their bokkens and making their way back towards the Earth House. Both of them were visibly tired and covered with sweat , but with smiles on their faces.
"Oh , there you are. Spending hours playing with sticks ? At least you could've given her a real sword"-Chuchu said as Akatsuki just sigh from the fatigue he suffered spending hours non-stop training
"And have her suffering through blood loss ? It's not like you have a med-pod around here"-Akatsuki said as he and Suletta reached the nearest couch where they sat exhausted
"We don't have one , the prices on even the oldest aviable models are far from our budget"-Aliya explained as Akatsuki and Suletta continued to fall apart on the couch
"No problem , there are the old ways of healing wounds"-Akatsuki said as he took a quick glance at Barbatos standing next to Aerial. 'Old ways huh ?'-he thought as his eyes shifted their attention to the Katana
"So , when do you have the repetition of the repetition exam ?"-Akatsuki as Chuchu groaned
"Tomorrow , Till will help Suletta while I help Chuchu. What do you have to do tomorrow Akatsuki ?"-Nika asked as Akatsuki shrugged
"Committee work , since I'm the public Holder I'm taking the most responsibilities , initiate , watch , read through some papers etcetera etcetera"-Akatsuki said as Nika only unfolded her arms
"There is another thing , since I'm the main mechanic I need Aerial's and Barbatos's tech data"-Nika said as both Holders turned towards her
"Oh , Ok ! But I need to take a shower first !"-Suletta said, rushing off with her bokken leaving Akatsuki alone with other earth house members. And after a quick sniff he knew that he also needed to get himself some new clothes and also rushed off
"All right , tech data"-Akatsuki said as he alongside Nika and Suletta stood on the transport cage of Barbatos before with a command Akatsuki opened the hatch and they all got inside
"So that's how it looks inside , but according to what I read the cockpit was replaced by a Mobile Worker's ?"-Nika said surprised by the panoramic monitor inside
"That was the Lupus Rex's cockpit , Shin Sei butchered enough place for it with most of the Half-Metal and Rare Alloy went into weaponry in tightening up the Permet"-Akatsuki said getting into the pilots seat and starting the basic systems with Nika plugging in her notepad and download most of the schematics
"Umm Akatsuki ? Its protected by the password ? And why does it say "If data gets in wrong hands destroy it" ?"-Nika asked as Akatsuki took her notepad before quickly typing in the password while wiping sweat off his forehead
"Maybe because TSC is also a part of Martian Central Army and Barbatos is supposed to be a part of it when a war comes"-Akatsuki explained as they got out of the cockpit
"Thanks for the data"-Nika said walking away with the blueprints on her notepad with numerous thoughts circling though her head. 'I don't know what to really think about it , it's a dream come true , working on a Gjallarhorn Conflict Gundam frame'-she thought as her train of thought came back two years ago

"Come on come on !"-15 year old Nika said as she watched the finale of the M/J Grand Prix on her laptop , and considering the time difference everyone else was asleep only the illuminative light of the screen was lighting up the small room where Nika resided , and for the last few minutes she was stuck in the adrenaline stun as she watched the Barbatos AA from TSC currently struggling with the Jogaila from Europa Corporation. 'Come on Akatsuki !'-she thought as it finally came to the final move.
"He's going to do the sword move !"-Nika exclaimed as meanwhile Barbatos finally sliced off Jogaila's arm and quickly got through the head.
"Hell yes !"-Nika finally exclaimed as the duel finished with Barbatos and its pilot coming out victorious , and in her temporal bliss of happiness she didn't notice someone opening the door
"Nika , its 2:00 am"-A female voice said as Nika turned around to see a woman with short blond hair and blue eyes wearing only a black top and shorts , the one thing visible was a scar going through the right side of her face , and another thing would be implants on her back that looked like spikes edging out of it
"Oh , Julieta ! I was just watching the finale"-Nika said as Julieta walked up to her
"Finale of what ?"-She asked before grabbing the Laptop and imedatly getting striked by the memories with one of her hands heading directly to her scar. She fought off the urge to punch though the screen before only sighing and putting down the laptop
"Just go to bed"-Julieta said before leaving the room again making the laptop the only source of light in the room. 'What was that ? Naji says not to bug her about her past , but if she broke my laptop I would personally kick her in the shnoz'-she thought before continuing to watch the transmission
"Suki ?"-Suletta asked as she and Akatsuki were eating dinner while on the Mobile Suit storage compartment with a clear view on both Aerial and Barbatos
"Eh ?"-Akatsuki replied with him swallowing the bite of his food
"What's between you and Barbatos ? I understand that it's a great machine but from what I heard from Nika most sportsmen use new high-performance suits fresh of the assembly line. But even after all modifications my mother made it's still a machine from the Calamity Conflict"-Suletta explained as Akatsuki sighed. 'I already explained that to Miorine , do I have to do it again ?'-he thought as he took the last bite of his food
"Does the term "McGillis Fareed Incident" says anything to you ?"-Akatsuki asked as Suletta puzzled a bit before giving an answer
"That conflict in the outer rim 17 years ago ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki nodded
"Exactly , but to be honest the real reason took place 19 years ago. Barbatos with my dad behind the controls was the ticket to freedom that the rest of CGS's 3rd group took with them"-Akatsuki explained as Suletta remained confused by what he said
"3rd group ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki chuckled
"The group that became the first Tekkadan , it was also how mom and dad met mama. After that they went to space , met Turbines that remnants would join future TSC ,and later joined up with Teiwaz , after that they reached the Arbau colony and finally made steps in our independence , two years later more conflicts continue to emerge., many of our people would die in battle. That's how they got involved between an inner conflict inside Gjallarhorn Peacekeeping Group , and that's where the name McGillis comes to play , he was one of the sides of the conflict"-Akatsuki explained as Suletta's questions were having questions
"But it's still doesn't explain why is it so important to you. I can't understand symbolism behind it"-Suletta said as Akatsuki masked his impatience with another smile
"Well , we lost that war. And Dad thanks to Alaya Vinjana lost control of his eye and right arm , and then his entire right side of his body with both of his legs"-Akatsuki was explaining before Suletta cut him off
"Wait , if he lost his entire right side how were you conceived ?!"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki chuckled before pointing at the cockpit and awaited Suletta's reaction. And he got exactly
"Y-you w-were conceived inside it ?!"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki continued to chuckle
"Yeah , and judging by how it was also through Alaya Vijnana it makes me around 25% Gundam ? Anyways, continuing with the story , unfortunately we were on the wrong side. Tekkadan was burned to ashes , with only a few key survivors. Dad only managed to escape because Akihiro sacrificed himself killing one of the Gjallarhorn guys , dad only managed to destroy a few more grazes and destroy one Reginlaze Julia , with only an axe but damaging it enough that the pilot barely survived. According to some stories she was really annoying and quickly dissappeared after the civil war. The rest of the conflict and my birth Dad spent in a Med-Pod stuck in a coma. At the same time Gjallarhorn Peacekeeping Group destroyed itself from the inside and fell on its face , the old officials fled with their factions to their parts of space and the pilots either left with them or retired , or became pirates or terrorists"-Akatsuki finished as meanwhile on the ground Nika was working on tech data that the Holder duo provided them with and unknowingly to them heard the whole story. And could only sigh as she made connections with who was the pilot of the Reginlaze. 'It was Akatsuki's father who sliced Julieta's face ? The Tekkadan Devil… And he is the Demon Incarnate. It all makes sense now'-she thought as she ignored the rest of the clouding thoughts and focused on her work. Meanwhile Suletta's loss in topic reached its peak
"Ok Suki , it's a nice story and all but I still don't know the whole reason ! Please tell me !"-Suletta finally exclaimed as Akatsuki closed his eyes and grinned
"Perhaps I felt it ever since we both first met"

"Akatsuki , Akatsuki"-22 year Mikazuki called out to his 5-year old son playing with his bokken in the backseat of his car. Meanwhile the young boy wasn't so enthusiastic
"Yes daddy ?"-The boy asked with a huffing expression that his father couldn't find anything else but cute , it reminded him of little Atrra
"We're already here , come on"-Mikazuki said as he went to the backseat to unbuckle his son from the child's seat. The boy meanwhile remained unshaken in his boredom
"Why do I have to be here ? Couldn't mummy or mama pick me up from the preschool ?"-little Akatsuki asked getting out of the car and setting his little feet on the ground of Martian soil. And as always was mesmerised by the size of his daddy's workplace. Compared to what the original HQ was this showed that the government money helped build the new organisation. A giant hangar filled out with Mobile Suits , Workers and numerous equipment. With tons of people running around , almost 95% of them being new recruits and ex-Turbines members that joined the newly formed group. Mikazuki put on his glasses as little Akatsuki fallowed him
"Are we gonna see Uncle Orga ?"-Little Akatsuki asked as Mika turned towards him
"Sadly not today , you know Uncle Orga cannot leave his apartment without permission"-Mikazuki said as little Akatsuki sadly sighed , his little mind not knowing the concept of House Arrest
"I still don't understand why"-The boy said as Mikazuki tried to think what to keep away the uncomfortable questions
"Sometimes when you do something good some people won't think of it as a good thing and punish you , how many times were you punished by standing up for a girl in preschool ?"-Mikazuki asked as Akatsuki counted on his fingers
"5 , 6 , 7 , a lot"-Akatsuki said as Mikazuki smiled at him
"See ? That's the point"-Mikazuki said as they begun the walkthrough inspection , and as they walked Akatsuki was losing patience
"Daddy , I'm bored ! Can I go look for the Turbines ?"-Akatsuki asked grabbing his father by his pants. Mika only sighed knowing that a boy like him wouldn't be entertained by talking
"Ok , I'll pick you up when I finish"-Mikazuki said knowing that his son knew the entire place like the back of his pocket. Meanwhile the little pure lightning bolt of energy locked inside a body of a 5 year old jolted off though the entire base treating everything like an obstacle course. That was until he saw two people carrying a crate. Of course he could stop but a word like that didn't exist in his small vocabulary , he increased his speed as much as he could before jumping over them.
"Sorry !"-He apologized before rushing away towards the main hangar , and as he wondered around he smiled as he noticed two familiar figures
"Auntie Lafter ! Auntie Azee !"-Akatsuki exclaimed as two female figures turned around to see him
"Hey kiddo !"-Lafter said stroking Akatsuki's hair
"Where are everyone ? I thought we would be able to play together"-Akatsuki said as both women looked at him with a sad expression
"Sorry , everyone is either in school , preschool or day-care"-Azee said as Akatsuki tilted his head down towards the ground
"Your old man picked you up again ? It has to be torture for someone like you , you sit here for hours , and hours , and hours"-Lafter counted before being cut off by hit in the back by Azee
"I know , I wish mommy could have picked me up. Mama is resting from her business trip. The same one from she brought me this"-Akatsuki said while taking a look of his bokken , before the sword was taken by Lafter
"That's yours ? I knew you were interested in Japanese Martial Arts but also swordsmanship ? You want to be a Samurai when you grow up ?"-Lafter asked before giving the bokken back to Akatsuki who returned back to it sheath with a wipe on his forearm
"No , I don't really know who I want to be"-Akatsuki said with Lafter showing him a worried look
"You still have your entire life ahead of you to decide that"-Azee said as Akatsuki turned away
"Where are you going ? You shouldn't make your daddy worried"-Lafter asked as Akatsuki came up with an excuse
"I'll go back to him"-Akatsuki lied before rushing off leaving two women alone
"I don't get it , for the last 5 years we spent around kids he seems like a most unique one I've seen"-Lafter said as Akatsuki rushed off with him nowhere to be seen
"Maybe it's because he looks exactly like his father ?"-Azee asked as Lafter bit one of her fingers
"And maybe it's also the thing that worries me the most about him"
"I'm so bored ! I know every place here and nothing is new !"-Akatsuki thought as he found himself in a more unknown part of the base , and it was until a door with a weird signature caught his attention
"B-L-R Storage ? What's B-L-R ?"-Akatsuki asked out loud as he managed to open the large door that led to a blank , empty and dark space. And as he took a look though he noticed the light switch and light up the room , and what was revealed to his young eyes caused him to fall on his back and almost cause him to wet his pants from the shock. It was a mobile suit , well at least what was remaining of one , sitting on its knees with most of its armour torn down , and without an arm , covered in dust and staring at Akatsuki with its dead green eyes
"Hi !"-Akatsuki tried to start a conversation with the dead Barbatos Lupus Rex , Akatsuki continued with him approaching the dead Mobile Suit
"Why are you here alone ? Why aren't you with your friends ? Why are you broken ?"-Akatsuki continued to ask as he used one of the staircases that were closing around the Mobile Suit to walk up before finding his way further up and sitting on Barbatos's head
"Perhaps I'll find out inside"-He thought as he jumped down to land on the cockpit hatch before finding his way in the cockpit that while squished and bent managed to fit a small kid
"What the ? It's the same exact cockpit as the mobile worker daddy uses for farm work !"-he thought as he knew the basic start up procedure , and he did exactly that as the monitor in front of the steering yokes lit as Akatsuki felt , mesmerised , his curiousness eaten by wanting to know how to move it . And with the brief touch of the yokes and reading though the name Akatsuki knew what he wanted to do
"Barbatos , your name is Barbatos"-Akatsuki said as he didn't notice that his dad entered the room
"AKATSUKI ! GET OUT OF THERE !"-Mikazuki screamed as the little boy continued to be sucked in immersion. Mikazuki quickly managed to turn off the reactor before letting out a sigh of relief to witch Akatsuki didn't react to. Mikazuki's eyes quickly went to the Alaya Vijnana cord , 'Phew , at least he didn't try to put it in. We would have to visit a doctor'-Mikazuki thought as his son finally turn to him with a weird look , and his eyes we're wide as the entire Mars
"Daddy , I want to be a pilot. The best swordsman pilot"-Akatsuki said with the most exclaiming voice he could surprising Mikazuki. His son who never seem to interested in things other than old Samurai films , martial arts and model kits was now suddenly so endured by his former position. And instead of trying to scream his lungs at him he decided to take it more swiftly
"A pilot ? And why if mind ask ?"-Mikazuki asked as Akatsuki continue to grab the yokes
"I want to pilot , because I want to see how to fight. And one day I want to pilot Barbatos , why he is locked here anyways ?"-Akatsuki asked as Mikazuki managed to squeeze himself inside Barbatos's cockpit. For the first time in 5 years , memories came back , some bad and some good.
"Many reasons , I can teach you the basics. And one day maybe we will rebuild Barbatos for you"-Mikazuki said as little boy grinned
"Really ?!"-He asked as Mikazuki improvising nodded
"Yes , but only if you will be a nice boy and continue to help on the farm"-Mikazuki said as little Akatsuki let out a jaw cracking yawn
"But I always help ! And I want to ask for a giant katana !"-Akatsuki said as Mikazuki took him and the bokken in his arms
"Sure kid , come on. Mom and Mama are waiting with dinner"-Mikazuki said as they walked down the staircase and made their way to the exit. 'Good , he took a liking to you'-Mikazuki thought looking at Barbatos before turning off the lights and closing the door
"So , that's the story ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki nodded
"That was the day the love for piloting was fully implanted in my mind , starting on a Graze in a spec series and then moving to a Hekija. As five years passed I was already winning local tournaments and conquered the mars scene. But before I wanted to move to a bigger space scene I needed a mobile suit with the ultimate weapon , the GUND format , known popularly as GUND-ARM , or Gundam"-Akatsuki said as Suletta nodded before cutting in
"GUND-ARM , named after the Calamity Conflict suit format right ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki nodded
"Yeah , but since both the TSC and Mars Central Army had no real experience with the technology, ever since the schism and loss of numerous equipment during the mass migrations 8 years prior sent the GUND-ARM Development 20 years back. That's why the decision was to send the frame to the Benerit group to rebuild it from ground up , better , stronger , faster"-Akatsuki said as Suletta was confused by why did her Mom's company knew how to rebuild it
"And they picked Shin Sei , that means you met my Mom"-Suletta said as Akatsuki nodded
"Exactly , but I had nightmares after it. Never seen someone like it. So GUND-infected , but can I say it about someone who will become my Mother-In-Law ? In its entirety I remember this day with esteem , it was the day when Barbatos finally returned to live"-Akatsuki said as Suletta frowned a bit before taking interest in that day
"Can you tell me about it ? If you really met my mother I'm interested to know about it"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki chuckled
"I loved that day , and it all started with a hit on the head"

TRIP FROM MARS TO MERCURY
DAY 27
"OW ! God damn it !"-10 year old Akatsuki said, hitting his head on the roof of his small quarters aboard the Ryusei. As he finally got up from his bed he floated towards his wardrobe to put on his clothes before finally leaving his room and stretching up. And he felt terrible , perhaps the long space travels weren't his thing , maybe because it was the first long trip he took in his short life. And comparing it to a vacational cruise that he and his family took to earth it was Spartan. Akatsuki quickly flew towards the gym for morning training. And after a quick plug in he began his run on the treadmill , first 10 kilometres , then 20 , and finally topping it off with 30th kilometre.
"There ! and the worst part is that I'll have to suffer through the same trip again , and again suffer through online school. But first breakfast"-Akatsuki said as he flew to the cantina. As he reached it he noticed the crew of the Ryusei enjoying their meals , after brief hellos and hi's he quickly grabbed the container containing his food and drink and made his way towards a secluded room with a window and a desk containing a lonely laptop and some notepads and pens. Akatsuki sighed before opening his laptop and founding the video chat app before joining his school's channel
"Oh , good morning. Now that you are here we can begin the lesson"-The teacher said as the lessons began. And with the teacher giving his lecture Akatsuki ate his food. The lessons continued for the next few hours as Akatsuki ate though them. And as the final lesson came to an end Akatsuki sighed and closed his laptop before stretching up. 'For god's sake finally , now heading to the bridge'-he thought as he made his way back towards his room to put on his normal suit before taking a flight towards the bridge , as he opened the door he found his father sitting on the captain's chair with TSC's personnel mounting the rest of the bridge positions.
"Hey dad"-Akatsuki said as he flew towards the chair before grabbing it
"Akatsuki , did you finish your classes ?"-Mikazuki asked as he frowned before turning away
"I know you hate online school but its necessary evil , since apparently you are needed to activate Barbatos"-Mikazuki said as Akatsuki sighed
"It's been 27 days since we left , I feel like I'll burst out if I don't set my feet out of here"-Akatsuki said annoyed as his father smiled
"Well , today is your lucky day"-Mikazuki said as one of the bridge crew members picked up a transmission
"This is Tekkadan Security Corps ship "Ryusei". Authorisation Code YTKO9719G approaching Lagrange 1"-One of the bridge crew replied to the message as Akatsuki's big blue eyes lit up in satisfaction.
"Does this mean I can go pack up my normal suit ?"-Akatsuki asked as Mikazuki nodded and with a laugh Akatsuki flew towards his room and quickly packed all his piloting equipment before finding his father , and as the hatch in the port opened for the first time in almost a month Akatsuki saw something other than Ryusei's metal. And that was Lagrange 1's ship docking block. Mikazuki and Akatsuki walked towards the changing room where both of them changed into their normal attire.
"So , when we are going to see Barbatos ?"-Akatsuki asked as Mikazuki took a look on his phone
"We have 45 minutes before the meeting with Shin Sei's CEO , so how about getting something to drink ?"-Mikazuki asked as he and Akatsuki drank their first Soda and coffee for the first time in almost a month. And as the dedicated hour came the father and son stood in front of the door
"Dad ? Are you sure this is the right spot ?"-Akatsuki asked hidden behind his father's leg
"According to the message I got its supposed to be this door"-Mikazuki replied and as he wanted to check his phone the giant door opened to reveal a woman wearing a grey suit with a white helmet on her head. The CEO of Shin Sei Development Corporation
"Mister Mikazuki Augus ! Was the trip to Mercury nice ?"-The woman asked as she shaked Mikazuki's hand
"Lady Prospera Mercury , the trip was , average"-Mikazuki replied as Prospera's attention shifted towards Akatsuki
"And this must be your son , and the pilot of the Barbatos. Nice to meet you"-Prospera said kneeling before extending her right hand , Akatsuki shaked it as he felt something off about it. It seemed dead , robotic , false
"I am Akatsuki Augus"-He introduced himself as Prospera got back on her legs
"The Demon Incarnate , but let us focus on the main reason why you came here , follow me"-Prospera said as both of them followed her though the giant complex as Akatsuki was watching things through the windows. Most notably another Mobile Suit in a similar colour scheme as the Lupus Rex had before Akatsuki's main decision to repaint it mostly to blue and white. Prospera finally stopped before opening the door to the mobile suit dock , and Akatsuki's eyes shined as he saw the Barbatos AA hanging on the ceiling with Shin Sei's crew working on it. It was the first time he saw the new version aside from the renderings and blue prints created by TSC and Shin Sei's R&D departments.
"TSCSS-G-08 Gundam Barbatos AA , better , stronger , and faster. Built from a mix of Permet and High Hardness Rare Alloy. Truly the Demon Incarnate , new manipulators and joints powered by EMT's , two "class one" reactors replaced by a "class two" reactor. And the most important part in it , GUND-format"-Prospera said as Mikazuki was confused by why Akatsuki was needed
"It is impressive what you were able to do Lady Prospera , but why did my son had to be here as well ?"-Mikazuki asked as Prospera chuckled
"Isn't that obvious ? We need to scan his bio-signature and form the Permet connection. Don't worry it's perfectly safe , my daughter went through the same process and came out just fine, the changing room is the second door on the left"-Prospera said as Akatsuki looked at his dad who nodded before rushing towards the changing room and swapping his clothes for a pilot suit and a helmet with a blue-and-white paint scheme. As he came out of the changing room he swallowed air before seeing his father and lady Prospera waiting for him
"Good , now we can begin. Head to the cage and climb to the cockpit , we'll contact you through the radio"-Prospera said as he and Mikazuki made their way towards the staircase that lead to the cockpit.
"Are you ready ?"-Mikazuki asked as Akatsuki smirked
"We didn't waste so much money for nothing"-Akatsuki said as Mikazuki helped him to get inside. 'Wow , that's the biggest panoramic cockpit I've seen'-Akatsuki thought before settling in and a voice of Prospera echoed through the cockpit
"Ok , first close the cockpit and connect yourself with the Permet connectors on the back. You've read through the instructions so you should know how to do it. After that put your hand on the front panel"-Prospera said as Akatsuki closed the cockpit and started the basic systems with his back connecting with the chair
"All right , begin the bio-signature scan"-Prospera said as the systems lit up to her command and suddenly Akatsuki felt like his head was beginning to explode. The cockpit disappeared and Akatsuki's brain was acquiring terabytes of information after information. Meanwhile Prospera smirked as she watched the boy's brain activity and him passing through layers and layers of the Permet score. 'Barbatos was built to walk so that Aerial can run'-she thought as she continue to watch the data storm. Meanwhile Akatsuki pushed through with his stomach to not puke as the pain suddenly stopped with the panoramic screen displaying a message much to Akatsuki's confusion

"That's all , was it so bad ?"-Prospera asked as Akatsuki shaked his head in pain. But as it vanished the entire Mobile Suit came alive , with all the systems visible and Barbatos's green eyes lit up to life for the first time after the final battle with the Arianrhod faction of Gjallarhorn. And inside Akatsuki's head the pain and confusement was replaced with excitement and happiness with him laughing in the cockpit , undenounced to him his brain was now connected with Barbatos like his father but without a cord. And the newly-resurrected suit seemed fine with being connected to him.
"No , but at least I would want to test in its entirety"-Akatsuki said as he opened the cockpit before jumping out of Barbatos's cockpit
"How did it felt ?"-Mikazuki asked his son who took off his helmet and wiped sweat from his forehead
"At first it felt like it was screwing through my head with a drill gun. But I feel fairly good , now I want to test it. The sim data is cool but not comparable to a real thing. Right Barbatos ?"-Akatsuki asked turning to his Mobile Suit , well government-owned but assigned to him
"Well , we are leaving soon. But we can stick around for a test"-Mikazuki said as one of Shin Sei's transporters was carrying Barbatos's Katana. And while Akatsuki was licking his lips to test it Mikazuki couldn't think that all that rare metal could've gone to something else. But Barbatos AA wasn't built around him with the main focus being his son's combat style. The rest of the stay Mikazuki spent signing papers involving TSC's potential future parterships with Shin Sei on other projects with the crew of the Ryusei enjoying their rest and Akatsuki sitting inside Barbatos's cockpit doing sim run after a sim run
"All right , I'm ready"-Akatsuki said taking the katana from the transporter and taking a look at the quality of the blade before putting it in its holster , that Akatsuki thought was weird that it lacked a fool sheath , but the ability to do a quick release cut the aesthetic con out.
"TSCSS-G-08 , you have permission to start"-A voice from the Lagrange 1 control tower said though Barbatos's speakers as Akatsuki closed the visor of his helmet
"Ok , and thanks for repairing Barbatos , speaking off , Akatsuki Augus , Gundam Barbatos AA , taking off"-Akatsuki replied before Barbatos was shot down though the catapult before seeing the void of space. Akatsuki increased the thrust and quickly jolted though the void as Akatsuki felt like a fish in water , that for the first time he wasn't piloting someone else's suit painted in his colours. Even though Barbatos belonged to his father the torch was finally passed , Barbatos AA was Akatsuki's suit , rebuilt and redesigned for him. And as Barbatos boarded the Ryusei Prospera was looking through the data she got during the bio-signature scan. Considering that the technology that was outlawed after the Cathedra Agreement. It was a chance to see how the technology that powered the Lfrith and now powers Aerial can serve in service as a field testing mule. 'This should be interesting'-she thought as she continue to analyse the data
"Hey ! My Mom isn't that bad , if you get to know her she is a good person"-Suletta said as Akatsuki unfolded his arms before releasing a jaw cracking yawn
"Like I said , it will be an awkward first meeting. Or second , I don't know what my parents would think"-Akatsuki said as Suletta nodded before repeating on 200% speed everything that Akatsuki said and founding a thing that bugged her
"Wait , if you know Martial Arts then why did you end up on the ground while fighting Guel ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki felt his pride as a fighter being attacked in the same stomach and face he got bruised.
"Being completely honest with you , it was the first time ever since I got a black belt 3 years ago I didn't have a chance to fight anybody outside a Mobile Suit. And because of my stupid train of thought I was hoping to finish it in 15 seconds with quick fists , as we know that didn't happen and I finally returned to training in my free time"-Akatsuki said as Suletta nodded before also releasing a yawn herself
"I think we should get some sleep , tomorrow I have the repetition test. Where do you sleep ?"-Suletta asked as both of them got back on their feet grabbing the empty food containers
"Apparently I have a lonely room , they probably found the Gun carrying case and got afraid. I don't really care , a little more privacy is nice"-Akatsuki said as Suletta fought her way not to exclaim "What ?!" and not to wake everyone up.
"Blame my dad's safety concerns"-Akatsuki said as Suletta decided to give up considering what he told her about his father
"F-Fine , good night Suki"-Suletta said heading to her room
"Good night"-Akatsuki replied as he did exactly the same before finally laying his head on his bed

"There , go and get yourself a drink"-Secelia said as Akatsuki turned towards the wall in the back. He only nodded and walked up to the place that Secelia directed him towards , and as he reached it he immediately got confused as to wear it was. And while he searched for the door Secelia was chuckling behind his back. And as Akatsuki opened the door and grabbed a can of a Vita-drink and quickly jugged it down , before closing back the fridge and walking back towards the sofa and sitting on it
"You don't have matching fridges on Mars ?"-Secelia asked as Akatsuki only sighed
"I live in a farmhouse near a small town , do you think we have those ?"-Akatsuki rhetorically asked as Secelia didn't reply and simply continue to sit beside Ryouji who continued to check something on his notepad. An undenounced to him Ryouji was checking though the info on Gundam frame technology. And as Akatsuki was checking something on his notebook he received a message. Akatsuki only sighed as he got up from the sofa and grabbed his backpack before without a word leaving the lounge
"Poor Marsboy , if the first fiancé isn't in need of him the second one bugs him. He should visit a therapist"-Secelia said as Ryouji remained unshaken of her supposed worries
"Weren't you supposed to be his therapist ?"-Ryouji asked as Secelia turned towards him
"Exactly ! I wanted to make it a business but the lonely PR thing is hard , will you help me ?"-Secelia asked showing him puppy eyes with Ryouji keeping his attention on his notepad
"You can't do anything that is not revolving around teasing others without me right ?"-Ryouji asked as Secelia only chuckled

"Ok , that's all for today"-Akatsuki said as he poured the water on the small palm with Miorine working on tomatoes in the back of the greenhouse. And as he wanted to walk away from the greenhouse Miorine turned towards him
"How are you doing ?"-Miorine asked as surprised Akatsuki turned towards her
"What ?"-He asked surprised turning towards her
"I asked how are you and Suletta doing ? Does the earth house treat both of you well ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki walked up towards her
"Pretty ok , we have places to sleep and we eat. Also someone to maintain our suits , besides that , we kinda deal with it. I'm only there to keep Suletta some company , also people are nice , Till seems like a nice guy , Nika is also pretty cool. Reminds me of some people back home"-Akatsuki said as Miorine lifted up her eyebrow
"Really ? You joined the house with lowest promises just because Suletta is there ? Are you even capable of making your own choices that aren't influenced by others ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki shrugged and sit down
"First of all Nika proposed me that and it was either that or becoming a puppet to the big three , and like you said the big three is our enemy , and for your second question , yes I am capable of making my choices , that's the reason I even chose this school"-Akatsuki explained as Miorine only shaked her head as her facial expression looked more and more annoyed
"I thought you only came here because your moms told you to slow down ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki wanted to counter it but immediately mentally face palmed by realising what he meant and what Miorine meant
"Ok , I'll explain it to you. The whole reason I picked this school was to go my own way , even though I had support of several important people that could enrol me into prestige academies in the outer rim"-Akatsuki explained as Miorine looked more and more annoyed
"Then why , why did you come here ? Now you're stuck in a marriage and thousands of kilometres away from home !"-Miorine exclaimed as Akatsuki only looked confused
"I thought we only pretend so that you can escape to earth ?"-Akatsuki asked as Miorine face palmed

"There !"-Akatsuki said out loud as he put the M/J trophy in the center of his trophy cabinet. A beautiful work of art by every pilot referred to by its real name "Galaxia". Two shining crystal orbs , one smaller ruby to represent Mars and a big diamond to represent Jupiter with two golden figures fighting each other with small needles representing two suits. If it was someone else they probably would hire a special crew and build an entire room dedicated to it. But not Akatsuki who aside from putting on rubber gloves and being more careful with it than with an infant while putting it inside his cabinet as a display, after that he took a quick prideful look on everything he accomplished for the last 8 years as a pilot , from winning the Graze series on mars to the Mars Sphere Championship to his magnum opus , at least for now. And just as he continued to look he also noticed all the dust surrounding other trophies , 'Dust , the worst enemy of any collector , right guys ?'-Akatsuki thought looking at the Model Kits of various mobile suits residing on top of it. 'Waiting for the Jogaila to come out , perhaps I'll make a diorama'-he added before someone opened the door , and that was his father holding the second replica Galaxia he received. It was far less extravagant than the original without all the gems and rare materials.
"Akatsuki , what do you intend to do with this ?"-Mikazuki asked as Akatsuki only chuckled before sitting on his chair
"I think we should display it in TSC's HQ , since it looks exactly the same. I didn't even unpack it , a nice reminder of our success. Even if it it's mostly Mercurian hands that built it"-Akatsuki said as his father chuckled
"Ok , I'm heading to the HQ for the board meeting so I can take it there. Want to go with me ?"-Mikazuki asked as Akatsuki shaked his head
"Nah but thanks ! I'll take my bike out and catch up , need to take a look around since we've been gone for so long"-Akatsuki said as his father nodded before leaving his room , Akatsuki quickly got to work with wiping all the dust surrounding his trophies and after few minutes he was already done. Akatsuki quickly grabbed a pair of goggles and gloves before rushing down the stairs towards the garage.
"Honey ? Where are you going ?"-Atrra asked stopping him by grabbing his arm
"I'm going to the TSC HQ"-Akatsuki said putting on his goggles
"And where is your helmet ?"-Atrra asked with her facial expression changed to an annoyed one
"Mom , you know I'm riding safely. Besides the law doesn't say that ahelmet is required"-Akatsuki said as Atrra remained unshaken
"And the law in this home requires that everyone needs to wear a helmet while riding a bike. So if you want to ride the bike then get your butt back to your room and take your helmet"-Atrra said as Akatsuki only sighed in giving up and slowly walked up the stairs towards his room. He always knew that fighting his mother was like trying to persuade a wall , completely impossible. After grabbing his helmet he jolted to his garage to reveal his E-Bike , a blue enduro E-bike with an automatic gearbox. Akatsuki quickly put the helmet on and jumped on the E-bike before riding away towards the main road , and since he lived in a province the road wasn't of the best quality. After half an hour of a trip Akatsuki reached the TSC gateway.
"Pass ?"-of the no-name TSC members asked as Akatsuki shrugged
"You see me almost every week , do I really need to show you the pass ?"-Akatsuki asked as the gatekeeper unfolded his arms
"Im sorry Akatsuki , but that's the rule the boss set"-The gatekeeper said as Akatsuki grunted in annoyance before reaching to his pocket for his TSC pass
"Uncle Orga wouldn't set such a stupid rule"-Akatsuki said continuing the conversation
"It wasn't , nor was commander Eugene's or commander Mikazuki's. Apparently it's set up by the higher ups"-the gatekeeper replied giving back the pass to Akatsuki
"Higher ups ? Why does the army's High Command put their fingers into this ? Aren't we just their affiliation group ?"-Akatsuki asked as the gatekeeper shrugged before pressing the button that opened the gate
"I don't know , ask them yourself. Have a good day Akatsuki"-The gatekeeper said as Akatsuki only put his goggles on before riding towards the main parking lot , as he parked it he took off his helmet before wiping the dust from his face before taking off his goggles. Akatsuki walked in the HQ to see everyone working on their mundane tasks , but something felt off , Akatsuki at first decided to make himself present
"Hey everyone !"-Akatsuki announced as no one seemed to pay attention. 'Looks like something terrible happened , it's never that grave around here'-Akatsuki thought as he walked in to find everyone whispering among themselves and did their work on an automatic mode. Akatsuki confusedly made his way to the main cantina to find Lafter , Azee and some of the Turbine kids
"Hey guys , what's going on ?"-Akatsuki asked walking in with him finding the replica Galaxia already displayed in a small cabinet
"Hey Akatsuki , you picked the wrong moment to come"-one of the boys walked up to him before giving him a high five , he had dark red hair and green eyes

"Does this mean we're enrolled into the military ? What about that political amnesty ?"-Akatsuki asked as Azee shook her head
"That's bullshit , we were needed to help establish an army and to raise funds for said army , 13 years passed and we're going to be thrown away , considering who is in charge of the army"-Azee said as Lafter hit her fist on the table
"Don't even remind me of him ! How those Martian "patriots" flipped a giant middle finger to everyone who died , Shino , Hush , Akihiro"-Lafter counted on her fingers as she went silent on the last one
"History is written by winners , at least Miss Kudelia managed us places to live and get our moms work"-A girl with hazel eyes and blonde hair said as Lafter shifted her look towards her

"I really don't know , I'll probably focus on school , and the potential of merchandising is too big not to think about it"-Akatsuki said as he pondered about what he wanted to do now
"Well , those model kits are nice. Maybe you should partner with a katana shop ?"-Damon asked as Akatsuki unfolded his arms
"It would be cool to have my own katana , not to mention the potential free katanas and tachis I could get"-Akatsuki said as he continued to sit in the cantina before he got a message on his phone , and as he checked it he noticed it was his father. The message only said that he was supposed to meet him because someone wanted to talk to him
"Gotta go , my dad wants to meet up with him"-Akatsuki said and after brief goodbyes he made his way towards his father. And as he met up with him he already noticed that something was off with him. Normally most people that weren't veterans didn't noticed much difference in their commander's facial expression
"Hey dad , is something wrong ?"-Akatsuki asked as his father as Mikazuki's angry facial expression was hidden behind his glasses
"We're losing control , the High Command committee is putting a tighter leash on us. Besides, someone wants to talk with you"-Mikazuki said as they heard footsteps behind them. And much to Akatsuki's confusement his father saluted. It was a trio of men , two of them were wearing suits and dark glasses. The one in the centre was unique , he had dark blonde hair and blue eyes with a black beard to finish off the commanding presence of the man. He wore the Martian Central Army military uniform with a coat that he wore on his arms
"Commander Rustal"-Mikazuki said between his gritting teeth as he stood on attention
"Rest lieutantant"-Rustal Elion replied referening to him by his rank in the main army , a low one considering how much he brought to the independence. Rustal then turned his attention to Akatsuki before extending his hand
"I didn't have an occasion to congratulate your son , allow me to introduce myself. I am Rustal Elion , the head commander of the Martian Central Army and chairman of the Martian High Command"-Rustal introduced himself as Akatsuki shaked his hand
"I-Im Akatsuki Augus , the sports pilot"-Akatsuki introduced himself in a stuttering tone as Rustal chuckled
"Your reputation precedes you , lieutanant, do you mind if I take your son for a short walk ?"-Rustal asked Mikazuki who after a few seconds nodded before gesturing Akatsuki to go for it. And so Akatsuki was left alone with Rustal as they walked
"You have a grand future ahead of you , you proudly carried the Tekkadan banner"-Rustal said as Akatsuki blushed
"T-Thank you commander , w-what do you mean that I have a grand future ahead of me ?"-Akatsuki asked
"You're young and your Mobile Suit piloting skills are , to a short abridgement , remarkable. And I have an eye for talent. I've knew someone who could be compared to you but even she isn't on your level"-Rustal said as Akatsuki got enough bravery to ask about the pilot
"And what happened to her ?"-Akatsuki asked as Rustal sighed
"Sadly she was one of the casualties of changing times , she couldn't believe that Gjallarhorn had fallen after more than 300 years. That should be a lesson to you. Times are changing and if you are stuck in the past it leads to self-destruction"-Rustal explained as Akatsuki decided to think about it later
"But what do my skills have to do with my future ? I won the most prestige award there is"-Akatsuki replied as Rustal only chuckled
"How long until you finish high school ?"-Rustal asked as Akatsuki counted on his fingers
"Two years"-Akatsuki replied
"You have outstanding potential in the military. I know some people that are currently in charge of several military academies in the Jupiter-Europa sphere. When you finish school just ask your mother to pass this message and I will arrange everything. I have to go so I will leave you with that proposal , goodbye "-Rustal said before leaving him puzzled. Akatsuki only took out a lollipop that Miru gave him before putting it into his mouth
"So that's how you wasted your one-in-a-lifetime chance , I've heard about Rustal Elion. When a person like that offers you a chance to get scholarship and you reject it you have to be an idiot ! So please explain to me why did you picked this rotten place instead ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki only looked at his knees
"Because I didn't want to be a soldier. My dad fought enough for the entire bloodline , besides I heard what happened before the first Tekkadan fell. My parents told me that past struggles between two warring factions are far from my educational choices. But I always believed myself to be an underdog , this is why I picked this school. Also the ability to use Barbatos was something I couldn't pass , but it turned out well in my opinion. I wouldn't meet Suletta , and you"-Akatsuki explained as the awkward silence ensured around them. And since Akatsuki was turned away he couldn't notice Miorine's blushing face. And they remained in that position until Suletta walked pass the greenhouse
"Hey Suki ! Oh , hello Miorine"-Suletta said walking into the greenhouse when Miorine felt the occasion to get out of the awkward silence after Akatsuki's small confession
"Suletta , how is your "training" going ?"-Miorine asked putting the emphasis on the training much to Akatsuki's annoyance
"Good , today Suki promised me that we will go out on a training area with Barbatos"-Suletta explained as Miorine got curious
"So a date ?"-Miorine asked sending her grooms into a crimson flustered mode with them coming up with explanations on explanations
"N-No ! B-Besides , W-We have a contest who will go on a d-date first !"-Akatsuki explained as Miorine lifted up her eyebrow

"Oh ! We need to prepare Barbatos's transport ! See ya Miorine ! I'll come to check the date palm !"-Akatsuki said running away with Suletta fallowing him much to Miorine's annoyance when a vein appeared on her head

'Come on , come on'-Kudelia thought as she sat on the toilet shut inside the bathroom and remaining more straight the a ruler , a hard nausea attack while she was home alone. So that was her first instinct , the pregnancy test. Considering how much she and her loves had "Fun" some time ago it was obvious what one of the possible reasons , ever since Akatsuki was born she thought about not having children until Akatsuki would grow up , or at least be mature enough to have a step-sibling to not deal with jealousy and being split off. But years were passing and Akatsuki took a lot of her attention she forgot about it. And after few minutes the result came , possitive. And her hand immedatly went to her tummy. 'I-Im pregnant'-Kudelia thought as she heard knocking on the door. And as it opened it imedatly revealed Atrra carrying a bag of groceries
"There you are ! I was calling you for the last 10 minutes ! You had to leave your phone somew-"-Atrra immedatly stopped herself as she noticed the test in her hands and understood the situation
"You are pregnant , this is incredible ! We will have another child !"-Atrra said as she embraced her wife lifting up the mood of the situation
"Yes , but please dont tell this to Akatsuki. I want to tell him myself"-Kudelia said as Atrra was confused by her intentions
"Why ? He will be delighted ! Dont tell me you are afraid of his childlish jealousy ? He is old enough to understand"-Atrra explained as Kudelia only turned her head
"I know , but i still want to do it myself. I have a project revolving around him and i will visit Asticassia , thats when i'll tell him"-Kudelia explained as Atrra nodded. Believing that her wife means the best , she did feel itchy about lying to her son but decided to fully put her faith into Kudelia. Considering she also meant for their son's well-being
"Fine , now get dressed and i'll start working on dinner ! Then we will talk though all the important parts !"-Atrra exclaimed taking the bag and leaving towards the kitchen. Kudelia only smiled as she put her pants on and followed Atrra
A/N: Ok , maybe using an entire chapter to drop out so much exposition and backstory is a little too much. But major twists about how the Martian Central Army works , yep , the very same man who ordered an orbital bombardment on Tekkadan is now their boss , and why ? The anwser is simple , since the city states after they formed the Martian Union after Gjallarhorn Peacekeeping Group's fall needed an army. And of course no sane man would trust it with few 18-year olds.
