CHAPTER 7 : A GLOOMY SONG
Akatsuki couldn't really understand what was happening around him , the only things he could hear were muffled screams , at least what seemed like screams , with him wiping his forehead in pain. And after next several seconds he finally regained his full consciousness with his view sharpening out. After getting himself up he noticed Suletta and Miorine
"Oh look , the drunk has woken up"-Miorine exclaimed as Akatsuki immediately sighed
"Morning to you too"-Akatsuki said as Miorine continue to sharply look at him
"Do you know when you came back here ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki only managed to reach for his phone sitting on his bedside table to check the hour. It was 9:30 AM and the lessons for today were beginning on 10:30.
"I don't remember correctly , 1:00 AM , 2:00 AM ?"-Akatsuki asked as he counted on his fingers before turning towards Suletta who looked at him with puppy eyes
"Suki , you came back at 4:00 AM. Approaching 4:30"-Suletta said as Miorine then glared at her
"And you , why didn't you stop him ?"-Miorine asked as Suletta begun to explain herself
"If my date with Elan went wrong why he couldn't try ? Even if it ended like it ended , at least it seemed like he was satisfied"-Suletta said as Miorine sighed before turning towards Akatsuki
"You , you have five minutes to get dressed. And you , we will continue to talk outside"-Miorine said as she and Suletta left Akatsuki's room. Ignoring the headache he dressed up in his uniform and getting himself to shape before leaving his room with massive headache added to the set. He checked his calendar to see what he was supposed to do today. He quickly made his way towards the Earth House kitchen to see other students , and Miorine , enjoying breakfast. After exchanging looks and hellos he made himself some small breakfast and sat beside Suletta.
"So , how was your evening Akatsuki ?"-Nika asked chewing on her food. Suletta only turned towards with something that could be called a glare , as if she tried to get her to not ask about it. But Nika couldn't really get the memo on what she meant. Akatsuki only let out a sigh before he went on to explain
"Well , we could say good. We danced and drunk weird drinks. The other thing I can remember before it all gets blurry is getting onto a taxi. I just regained consciousness like 20 minutes ago"-Akatsuki explained as Miorine huffed
"Well , you shouldn't be drinking more than your body allows you. Besides judging by who you went with , you will become an embarrassment across the entire school"-Miorine said as Akatsuki's train of thought returned to the last time he saw Secelia and a crimson blush covered his face as he quickly covered his lips with one of his fingers. It was his second kiss throughout his entire life but the first he actively took part in , and with him looking in the retrospective. It felt good. And as Suletta noticed the finger she immediately blushed connecting all the dots
"Y-you , k-k-"-Suletta was immediately cut off by the nod from Akatsuki , Suletta only hid her surprised "Eh ?!" inside her mouth that caught Miorine's attention
"He did what ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki quickly turned towards her looking like a dear in headlights before his facial expression changed
"Excuse me , I thought we were allowed to it was a onetime thing"-Akatsuki explained lifting up his pinkie finger
"Maybe you think it's a onetime thing , you don't know her methods. Next thing you see is you involved with a scandal after scandal"-Miorine explained as the Earth House the entire scene uncover
"Excuse me to pause the lovers quarrel but some of us want to eat here"-Chuchu said as both Akatsuki and Miorine glared at her blushing with Chuchu only silently snickering. 'We should turned it into a stand-up , maybe it would repair our budget. Stupid Spacians will watch everything'-the hair puffed girl thought before returning to her food.
"Maybe it won't be so bad how you say Miorine ? I don't know a lot about Social Media but it seems that Suki isn't the talk of the school ?"-Suletta asked chewing her food as Miorine only let out a sigh before showing them her notebook with a #Akatsuki tag. "I don't even know if I can be that flexible"-Akatsuki asked as Miorine only shaked her head

Mostly the "LP077/KS001" fanfiction the younger 1st year students , notably male wrote. Akatsuki meanwhile decided to shift the attention to another topic
"On other things , today is the duel initiation , and we still have lessons before it"-Akatsuki said as Suletta immediately stood upwards
"Dang it ! I forgot we are having the test announcement today !"-Suletta remembered as Nika looked confused at them
"Wait , the pilot department doesn't know ?"-Nika asked as also Chuchu turned towards her much to her embarrassment
"The mechanical department learned that a day ago , Aperrantly you are supposed to fly though an obstacle course in space with radio support , that's all"-Nika explained as all three piloting department students nodded
"That seems easy , the other problem we have on the horizon is the duel. The Pharact in terms of manoeuvrability has the Aerial like a sitting duck"-Akatsuki asked as Suletta shot him a cute glare.
"Maybe Suletta will take Barbatos ? It has built in flight units in its wings"-Nuno suggested as Suletta immediately objected
"No no no no ! It's not the same thing ! Besides if I get a nosebleed from connecting with it Im kinda scared about my own health. Like Suki said , its tuned exclusively for him"-Suletta explained as the conversation continued for the rest of breakfast time with Miorine adding her defeatist comments from now and then
"It's another of those how I call it "Simple and Ornery Tests". If you have paid attention to your piloting in Zero-G classes it should be a walk in the park"-The teacher said as the light inside the room turned off before a 3D hologram displaying several space buoys appeared set in a patricidal way with a green line connecting all of them
"Your task will be to fly though this course with the only backup being your radio , each and one of you will use a Demi-Trainer to pass all the points and return to your designated spots , each of you will have 10 minutes to fly and return"-The teacher explained as Akatsuki noticed the distance he needed to pass and quickly deducted that those 10 minutes seemed like hours compared to what a "Average" Martian pilot could do with that course. Suletta noticed his puzzlement before Akatsuki swallowed air and lifted up his hand asking a question
"Pardon me teach , but isn't those 10 minutes a little too much ?"-Akatsuki asked as the teacher nodded
"LP077 , Akatsuki Augus. Im sorry to remind you but not everyone has that much experience , bravado or stupidity to turn his own mobile suit into a rocket that non-sane human could do. So sit down and continue to listen"-the teacher said as Akatsuki grew more and more pissed. 'Stupidity my ass , I will pass this entire track in less than 5 minutes ! Hell 4:30 will be enough with 2:15 each'-he thought as the teacher continue to explain the test and when it will take place , they had a week to plan it with their house members. And so still with a massive headache the day continued before Akatsuki got a message on his notebook

After reading though the message and the student identification code he immediately knew it was Shaddiq. He only told Suletta that it is time her head went down as they made their way towards the lounge
"Those are some incredibly nice shades"-Secelia said wearing Akatsuki's sunglasses she snatched from him during her date with him
"You shouldn't steal them from him , how do you know if he isn't looking for them ?"-Ryouji asked as Secelia chuckled
"He will come , his adorable sense of reason won't allow him to not assist the mercury girl with the initiation. Not to mention I have those"-Secelia explained showing Ryouji a baggy with anti-hangover pills. And she was right as the door of the lounge opened revealing Suletta and Akatsuki
"Are you ready ?"-Akatsuki asked as Suletta nodded looking at him with worried eyes
"Yes , the worst thing is that I don't know what will happen"-Suletta said as Akatsuki smiled
"As my Mom says , "Can only hope for the best". And we will have to do just that"-Akatsuki said as they finally found themselves in front of the main window noticing Shaddiq and Elan
"Mercury girl and Akatsuki. Now we can finally begin"-Shaddiq said as the window turned off signalling the start of the initiation
"both parties deposit your souls on Libra's scales. The duel will be between Elan Ceres and Suletta Mercury. The duel will take place in the outer-space Area"-Shaddiq recited as Akatsuki's eyes extended. 'So it is the worst then , it seems we have to come up with something'-Akatsuki thought as he looked at Secelia and just noticed she was wearing his glasses , and as he wanted to react she blew him a kiss as Akatsuki only blushed
"Elan Ceres , what do you put on the scale ?"-Shaddiq asked turning towards Elan
"If I win , Aerial will become mine"-Elan said as Suletta looked down
"Suletta Mercury , what do you put on the scale ?"-Shaddiq asked as Suletta couldn't really come up with anything
"Does this mean you don't want to put anything ?"-Secelia asked still wearing Akatsuki's shades
"You don't have to be so quick , you can decide on the duel day. You don't have anything against it right Elan ?"-Shaddiq asked before again turning towards Elan
"I don't care"-Elan said walking off as the initiation screen turned off again revealing the window. Akatsuki meanwhile sat on the sofa as he tried to come up with some plan on what to do. The thought of borrowing Barbatos came back to him , but that immediately disappeared as he remember how Suletta reacted to the connection and how much it took from her he couldn't imagine the consequences. But his train of thought was cut off by Secelia passing him a baggy with the hangover pills
"Here you go , also you forgot those"-Secelia said putting the shades on his eyes. Meanwhile few meters away Suletta couldn't stop wonder about why Elan keeps acting like that
"He seems more cold than usual , you did something ?"-Shaddiq asked walking towards Suletta
"D-Do you t-think its my fault ?"-Suletta asked silently as Shaddiq walked away
"Who knows ? Ever since you came here both Guel and Elan are not themselves"-Shaddiq said before turning towards Akatsuki
"Same things apply to you , the winds of change are coming and the hierarchy of power is about to change"-Shaddiq said before turning back towards Suletta
"This why Im also eager to know more and about you , Mercury Lady"
"Outer-space area ?"-Nika asked as both Suletta and Akatsuki nodded
"Is your Mobile Suit equipped with a flight unit ?"-Nuno asked as Suletta immediately objected
"That's bad ! Peil House's Mobile Suits are manoeuvrability incarnate ! Not to mention its apparently a Gundam"-Martin exclaimed as Akatsuki's mind formed a crazy idea
"I have an idea , but"-Akatsuki cut himself off before everyone turned towards him
"But what ?"-Nika asked as Akatsuki let out a sigh
"But we risk getting arrested by the MCA MP's , put on the trial by the military court and spending the rest of our lives in a maximum security prison for military technology defraudation"-Akatsuki explained as everyone's face went pale
"Implementing Barbatos's spare wings into the Aerial ? Could've been done , but as you say how tightly protective the Central Army is with their secrets so that's out of the equation"-Nika said as everyone returned to their pondering
"So what do we do ? We don't have enough money to buy a flight unit. And the only spare parts we have could lead to a prison cell"-Ojelo said as Nika came up with a plan
"How about borrowing one ?"-Lilique asked
"Spacians will rather die than borrow us anything"-Chuchu said quickly bringing down the atmosphere
"How about building one ourselves ?"-Nika asked as everyone turned towards her
"We don't even have spare parts for Chuchu's demi trainer , how do you expect us to find parts required ?"-Martin asked as Nika turned towards Akatsuki
"Luckily there is a person in this house close to Burion House's leader , and with enough charm to get us some used parts"-Nika said as Akatsuki immediately stood on attention and felt sweat running down his forehead
"And judging by how sure your facial expression is I have no voice in the subject right ?"-Akatsuki asked Nika who only turned her head
"No , no at all"-Nika said with a smile as Akatsuki only saluted before walking out of the Earth House towards the Burion House
"Um , Nika ? Are you sure this is a good idea ?"-Suletta asked as Nika turned towards her
"They seem to be on good terms , if he won't get us parts for free he will at least get us a discount"-Nika explained as Suletta remained worried
Akatsuki after using a scooter finally found himself standing in front of the Burion House. After knocking on the door and no one answering it he invited himself in and immediately knew where to go. But as he found himself standing in front of Secelia's room he noticed a group of students sitting on chairs next to her door.
"What's going on ?"-Akatsuki asked
"You also came to visit Doc Secelia ? If so wait in the line"-One of the students said as Akatsuki obliged and sat in the end of the line. And so two hours passed as the last person finally left the room
"Next one please !"-Secelia snidely said showing her hand as Akatsuki walked inside her room and became immediately surprised with a chaise lounge and Secelia wearing glasses and sitting on her bed holding a book
"Oh , Marsboy. Lay on the chaise and we can begin"-Secelia said as Akatsuki for a second forgot why he came here and obeyed
"So , why are you here ?"-Secelia asked as Akatsuki immediately remembered what was his mission
"Im not here to talk , I came to ask if you have any spare flight unit parts. Since we don't have parts for Aerial's flight unit to face off the Pharact"-Akatsuki explained as Secelia's face showed a sly smirk before correcting her zero power glasses before walking towards Akatsuki
"Maybe I have , maybe I don't. But first I have another question for you. How was the yesterday ?"-Secelia teased him as Akatsuki blushed
"Listen , it was , nice. But don't really get your hopes up , it was only a one-time thing. I just don't feel right knowing I have two fiancés around"-Akatsuki explained between stutters as Secelia's facial expression shifted towards a frown. Before it turned into a maniacal laughter
"I was expecting exactly that ! You would be just too innocent to use the third option ! Don't worry Marsboy , there is not a spill of bad blood between us. I just wanted to see how a rookie will perform before giving to use. Look at it like im a test pilot for cute bishonens. Besides Im also into underdogs and I like to watch the three main companies fall on their face. I'll call Ryouji and as professional as he is will gather enough used parts for you to build that flight unit"-Secelia said as Akatsuki quickly got up from the chaise
"Thanks ! And don't worry I'll pay with cash"-Akatsuki said as Secelia chuckled
"And once again don't worry , consider those parts that we would throw away as the exchange for that kiss"-Secelia said as Akatsuki's face covered itself with a blush. After a quick goodbye he made his way towards Burion's hangar to meet Ryouji
"This is the most I could gather for the parts needed for a flight unit , there is only one problem"-Ryouji said showing Akatsuki a notepad with the data showing all the parts and a supposed flight backpack attached to the Aerial
"And that is ?"-Akatsuki asked as Ryouji showed him what he meant before Akatsuki's facial expression shifted to a frown
"The lack of a working drive unit , that will have to be solved by the Earth house itself"-Ryouji explained as Akatsuki nodded as the parts were sent away to the Earth House
"Thank you Ryouji , It's rare to see Spacians helping Earthians"-Akatsuki said as Ryouji sighed
"Im interested to see what others can do with those parts. I believe that no matter how used the parts are if they can still be used they should be used. And you are the best example , you use a machine that by all the circumstances should be obsolete and inoperable without its core system. TSC and Shin Sei's R&D departments are full of talented engineers. If its Mars , Colonies or Earth. Mechanical talent is mechanical talent"-Ryouji explained as Akatsuki nodded. 'Damn , Secelia was right , he really is a professional'-Akatsuki thought as after saying goodbye to Ryouji he made his way back to the Earth House before calling Nika
"WHAT ? AND FOR FREE ?!"-Nika happily exclaimed as Akatsuki nodded
"Yes , the problem is the drive unit, and apparently the transportation fees. Not everyone falls for my supposed "charm". Let's just say that next month budget will fall apart , even with friends in high places some people are still your enemies"-Akatsuki explained as Nika sighed
"At least we have all the other parts , the problem remains with the drive unit. We will try to buy one on market , but if you have any ideas im open for it"-Nika said as a lightbulb lit up in Akatsuki's head
"Tell Suletta to meet me at TSC's hangar , I think I have an idea. This time fully legal"
"Ok on 1 , 2 and 3 !"-Akatsuki exclaimed as he pulled the cart that held the freshly delivered drive unit from Mars with Suletta pushing from the back. For the last hour they managed to get with the cart though the trains that lead to the Earth House.
"For someone with so much muscles I was expecting more strength !"-Suletta exclaimed between groans as breaths as Akatsuki frowned at her
"Blame the low-G , I have to put more on the bench to be on the same level !"-Akatsuki exclaimed as they finally managed to push the cart into the Earth House with both of them falling onto the floor in front of Nika
"You're both here ! Now we can begin the work !"-Nika exclaimed as her look changed noticing how exhausted both of them were
"Well , you can sit on the bench for now"
"Are you sure this is going to work ?"-Suletta asked touching one of the used parts
"Don't underestimate Nika ! Of course its gonna work , right ?"-Chuchu asked turning towards Nika who checked something on her notebook alongside Till
"I'll do my best !"-Nika quickly exclaimed as Akatsuki nodded

"We will still get a giant budget hole , how are we going to survive the next month ?"-Martin exclaimed looking at his notepad before Aliya and Lilique signalled him by a pat on the back to stop whining
"We are putting everything on you , the money course is 2,7 to 1"-Ojelo said as he and Nuno alongside Suletta and Akatsuki
"If we win , we will cover the delivery fees"-Nuno added as both Suletta and Akatsuki nodded
"And what if I lose ?"-Suletta asked as Ojelo and Nuno bent down towards Suletta
"We will go bankrupt"-both of them exclaimed as Suletta quickly backed off

"It doesn't influence the tests. How are the results ?"-Elan asked getting up from the test chair
"The next duel shouldn't be a burden for you"-Belmeria said continuing to look at her computer's screen
"So I won't survive the next duel"-Elan said , and just as Belmeria wanted to object a door opened to reveal a splitting image of Elan , with the only difference was the lack of earrings and that he wore a suit

"So why did you want to become my clone ? You knew this suit was cursed"-Elan-0 said as Elan-4 knew the answer

"All right ! Bring it down !"-Akatsuki said as Ojelo , Nuno and Martin helped with connecting the newly finished flight unit was finally attached to the connector port on Aerial's back. Akatsuki let out a sigh of relief as the installation process came to an easy end. And as he got down from Aerial's back so that it would be prepared for the transport to the catapult to finally test it out Miorine walked inside the Earth House
"I see you're done with the flight unit"-Miorine said as Akatsuki nodded
"It took a lot , and because we spent entire day working on it we're all a day of classes behind"-Akatsuki said as Miorine shrugged
"One day of lost classes seems better than being stuck in a marriage with Elan of all people , besides you know that if he will defeat Suletta you will be our last line of defence right ?"-Miorine asked as Akatsuki nodded
"Im fully prepared to go on a sortie against the Pharact when it will be needed , we can only hope for the best"-Akatsuki said as Miorine took a look across the entire Earth House searching for another groom
"Speaking of Suletta where is she ?"- Miorine asked as Akatsuki pointed towards the door
"She grabbed one of my bokkens and left for training , I stayed behind to help with the flight unit"-Akatsuki said as Miorine shrugged
"Well , let's go find her and shove her into Aerial's cockpit for the test-run"-Miorine said as Akatsuki only sighed and nodded before both of them left the Earth House with their quest
Suletta stood in the empty field swinging around the bokken just how Akatsuki told her , with her even incorporating some martial arts moves he showed her. And she got so focused on her training she didn't notice Akatsuki who quickly grabbed the bokken stopping it from hitting his head
"Not bad , you are getting better every day"-Akatsuki said surprising Suletta
"S-Suki !? I didn't know you finished with the flight unit ! Oh , and you brought Miorine"-Suletta said noticing Miorine
"Yes , and you should get inside Aerial to test it"-Miorine said as Suletta immediately went to her knees before looking down on the ground
"Yeah , I know. The worst thing about this whole situation is that I wanted to ask about Elan's birthday"-Suletta said as Akatsuki turned Miorine in confusement. After exchanging a look with Miorine he bowed down on his knees and gestured for her to do the same as both of them now sat in front of Suletta
"Remember that it's not your fault , you didn't do anything wrong. It was Elan's delusion to challenge you because you will win , and im sure of that"-Akatsuki said before gesturing with his head to do the same
"And know that if you lose this duel , Akatsuki will have to face him. And if he will lose , we'll be all done"-Miorine said as Akatsuki showed with his face 'I didn't mean exactly that'-he thought as much to his surprise Suletta got up from the ground with a determined facial expression before grabbing her bokken
"LETS GO !"-Suletta exclaimed before rushing back towards the Earth House much to confusement of the bride and the groom
"We will test the drive's output now"-Nika said over the comms as meanwhile inside the Aerial Suletta was giving all she had
"Roger"-Suletta replied waiting for orders
"Turn off , and then turn the engines"-Nika ordered as Suletta did exactly that. Meanwhile in a small Earth House shuttle Nika analysed all the data by observing the Aerial and the data on her notepad
"Ok , the drive is operational. The output regulator is also doing great. Suletta , we're coming back ?"-Nika asked as Suletta quickly nodded as inside her cockpit
"Tomorrow , you are ready to face Elan ?"-Nika asked as in the backseat of the seat Akatsuki let out a yawn
"He was nice to me , because it was his plan since the beginning. But I was happy anyways , I feel like an idiot"-Suletta said as Miorine felt her spirits go down , or it could just be a coincidence
"You're right , you are an idiot. I need to agree with Elan on that , you really are annoying. But its your charm , you annoy me by pushing yourself into things that aren't your business. And when you work alone or with Akatsuki and not listen to me. But moving forward you gain two , right ? So why did you moved forward ? There is not time to cry about yourself. So get your ass tight and move ! Right Akatsuki ? Akatsuki ?"-Miorine asked as she turned around to see her other groom sleeping on his chair with his loosen up expression catching Miorine's attention. The most obedient and innocent man she seen , even though his interviews would say something completely different. So innocent that even SECELIA DOTE , the woman that made more boys cry than any other student took a liking to him. And who even knowing that they had a deal that they could date according to people in the Burion House felt bad about "cheating on his fiancés". And who would risk an arm and leg to protect her and Suletta. And even if she told him numerous times how bad it was that he wasn't focused on himself ever since she met him she always found that amusing about him. And she continued to look at him before noticing that Nika was looking at her
"What ?"-Miorine quickly huffed before folding her arms and turning away from Nika
"You already forgave them ?"-Nika asked
"If she loses both of us will have problems as their fiancés , Akatsuki will be left alone with Barbatos against Elan and looking how he had problems with the Dilanza I don't see him winning. Besides it also involves you and your friends right ?"-Miorine asked as Nika continue to smile
"I believe that Suletta will win. And you shouldn't be underestimating Akatsuki , he didn't get the Galaxia for nothing"-Nika said as Miorine once again looked at the figure of her sleeping groom
"Sometimes it's hard to believe that outside of the cockpit he can be so dense , perhaps it's one the things that attract Suletta to him , like a magnet"-Miorine said as Nika only chuckled much to Miorine's displeasure
"Why are you laughing ?"-Miorine asked as Nika calmed down

After releasing a quick morning yawn he grabbed his bathroom utensils and made his way towards it. As he walked in he noticed Ojelo and Nuno already washing their teeth. After the gentlemen nod of "Good morning fine sir" from both sides Akatsuki joined them in washing teeth. After washing teeth he returned to his room to get dressed in his clothes. As he topped off his uniform his main phone begun to ring. And as he picked it up he noticed it was his mama
"Mama ? Hi !"-Akatsuki asked as meanwhile light-years away Kudelia was getting used to her quarters on board her personal MCA yacht , assigned to her by the Secret Service. Even though the quarters on an Altland would be enough
"Hi Honey ! I just wanted to ask how are you doing ?"-Kudelia asked taking off her normal suit
"Good , today is the duel between Suletta and that Elan guy I told you about"-Akatsuki said as he brushed his hair
"Are you worried ? I remember how I was worried during your first eliminations and you were just 11"-Kudelia asked sitting in her seat watching though the window that the Yacht left its docking bay and made its way towards Asticassia with a Ryusei behind it containing two mobile suits for Mars exchange students
"Of course im not because I know she will win , yeah it will be hard , and we will have the Aerial but she will do it , and please don't remind me of those. Assholes didn't want me to go even though I ploughed through the elimination duels"-Akatsuki exclaimed as Kudelia sighed
"You are still sour about that the sporting committee didn't want to send you to the 116 Grand Prix ? Because you were to young ? Akatsuki that was 6 years ago , besides you won the next one"-Kudelia tried to cheer him up with Akatsuki huffing
"The titan committee let Katma go"-Akatsuki reminded her as Kudelia sighed knowing how sometimes his skull was harder than a nut , she could only hope that Fumitan will be much easier to get to

Aperrantly he was drafted into a project lead by Commander Rustal , speaking of him apparently he wanted to pass congratulations to you about the marriage. But at least they pay for your schooling so it kept your Mom from beating Dad with a pan. I think I need to finish the call , I'll call back when we reach the next cocoon. I love you and don't give up"-Kudelia said as she begun to lose connection with her looking at a black box containing three new good luck charms made both for Akatsuki and for new "Family Members"
"I won't , love you Mama"-Akatsuki said as the call ended , after packing his notebook and notepad too his backpack he finally left his room to see Suletta standing in front of his door
"Today is the day !"-Suletta exclaimed much to Akatsuki's confusion
"Yes ? And sorry if I ask but why are you standing in front of door , shouldn't you be eating breakfast ? You can't go out and fight Elan without breakfast. Even if those are the most disgusting rations"-Akatsuki asked as Suletta blushed before coming up with an explanation
"You were sitting in yours too long , I was getting worried"-Suletta said as Akatsuki wiped the back of his head
"I kinda got stuck in a call , speaking off my Mama she wanted to say hi to you"-Akatsuki said as he left his room standing in front of Suletta
"O-Oh ! Right , tell her the same. Breakfast !"-Suletta exclaimed rushing towards the kitchen with Akatsuki pondering about what she meant before being left alone puzzled. But only for a second before he joined the rest of the Earth House for breakfast
"All right , just as we trained. You have GUND-bits , he has GUND-bits and now you have a flight unit. Just find an opening and go though and we can drink for victory"-Akatsuki said as he stood on the platform in front of Suletta sitting in Aerial's cockpit

"Open gate number 6 !"-Nuno announced as the Aerial was loaded on the catapult

"No obstacles on the starting line , we're ready"-Till announced as meanwhile in the Earth House's shuttle Akatsuki took off his helmet and put on his headset underneath it connecting it with his laptop before opening several windows , one of them showing the view from Aerial's front cameras
"Suletta , can you hear me ? Im currently connected with Aerial , I'll be serving as your RIO"-Akatsuki said as Suletta was surprised
"R-Right ! But what's an RIO ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki sighed before face palming
"I'll be observing the battle for you , wait for the launch"-Akatsuki said though the comms taking over the Radar Intercept Officer from his father. And while it didn't have in common with Anno Domini's navy pilots the same stuck throughout centuries
"Opening the hatch , giving the launch permissions to the pilot"-Nuno reported as Miorine from behind Akatsuki's chair watched the camera views from his laptop
"Its go time Suletta , give him literal Inferno"-Akatsuki said as Suletta while not really knowing what "Inferno" meant. She knew it meant giving him incredible beating , and she wanted to do exactly that
"Right ! LP041. Suletta Mercury , Aerial lets go !"-Suletta exclaimed as the Aerial jolted down though the catapult before reaching the Outer Space Area
"Aerial , 30 klicks on 12 o'clock ahead of you there is the bandit ship"-Akatsuki said as everyone in the shuttle except for Nika looked at him like he was speaking in an alien language. Meanwhile on the "Bandit ship" , the MS catapult revealed Pharact with Elan-4 inside the cockpit
"KP002 , Elan Ceres. Pharact , launching"-Elan-4 announced as the Pharact jolted from the catapult
"It's nice to meet you , new Jeturk house representative. Lauda Neill"-Shaddiq said looking at Lauda who kept stroking his stroking his hair
"Enough with the formalities , just start the duel"-Lauda said as Shaddiq turned towards the screen
"Oh please , don't tell me you're still mad about the last duel ? Besides it all happened because of your brother's giant Ego for fighting two mobile suits on one , with one being piloted by a veteran"-Secelia teased as Lauda grunted
"Don't even remind me of that Martian Rat , his time will also come"-Lauda said as Secelia only frowned from the racism. 'I don't think that Marsboy will take a liking to him'-she thought while watching the duel
"By the agreement of both sides we will begin the duel . Like always , the winner will be the one who will cut off enemy Mobile Suit's antenna. The witness will be Grassley House's leader , Shaddiq Zenelli. Both parties face off"-Shaddiq announced though the comms as Suletta stared down Elan-4's face
"Mercury lady ? Do you know what are you fighting for ?"-Shaddiq asked as Suletta finally knew her answer

"I can't say that I wasn't expecting that , but I was totally expecting it"-Akatsuki said wiping sweat of his forehead. Meanwhile Miorine continued to look down on his from behind his chair

"Roger"-Suletta replied as meanwhile Elan-4 finally reached Suletta's range as it begun to fire at Aerial with its sniper rifle with Suletta dodging though with its flight unit

"Suletta ! GUND-bits and evasive manoeuvres !"-Akatsuki ordered watching though his screens
"Right ! Aerial !"-Suletta mentally ordered as the GUND-bits formed their shield deflecting the sniper rifle's beam bursts
"Elan , I have never seen you in such a state"-Shaddiq said watching the battle. Meanwhile Aerial kept evading Pharact's attacks with the GUND-bits flying around it shielding it from even a caress from the rifle. Aerial tried to countered but the lack of a professional flight backpack really put Suletta in a worse spot
"This is why they chose the outer space area"-Miorine said looking at Akatsuki's laptop
"She won't keep up even having the flight system we built ! If it will continue she will be shot down like a duck"-Aliya said as Akatsuki had enough
"I can accept psychopaths but I won't accept defeatism ! My dad proved that impossible can be achieved"-Akatsuki said silencing the crowd before returning his attention to the screen

"Right !"-she replied before yanking Aerial's controls trying to dodge all the stun beams before the beams fried though one of the bits
"I'll destroy those GUND-bits"-Elan-4 said while firing Pharact's beam rifle at Aerial
"Friends !"-Suletta exclaimed summoning Aerial's bits back to form a shield before two of them begun counter fire destroying two of Pharact's bits
"She is way better in handling them"-Elan said forming his bits in a formation that was quickly worked though Aerial's shield before flying away from the struggle leaving Suletta puzzled about what to do
"I won't catch him like that , but I think I have an idea"-Suletta said as she switched back on the main Earth House
"Talk to me Suki , where is he on the map ?"-Suletta asked as Akatsuki quickly shifted his attention to the radar
"25 clicks ahead on 9 o'clock north , but you would need to catch up first"-Akatsuki said as he looked on his other window showing Aerial's stats in real time
"I think I have a plan , everyone , borrow me your power !"-Suletta exclaimed as two of the bits attached to Aerial's back giving it major boost
"Aerial also accelerated"-Ryouji said looking at his notepad. Meanwhile Secelia remained unimpressed
"Are they playing tag ?"-Meanwhile Aerial finally caught up with Suletta as Akatsuki kept looking at how quickly she approached him. '350 meter closure'-he thought as Elan-4's patience are running thin.
"You become more and more annoying , Permet score 4 !"-Elan-4 finally exclaimed as Pharact's bits begun their counter fire at Aerial who evaded every attack before getting up close towards the Pharact
"She tries her best"-Lilique said as Miorine sighed

"But she got closed up to him"-Nika said as Akatsuki nodded in agreement

"It's bad , the data storm is exceeding norms"-Belmeria said obsveriving her data as meanwhile Elan-4 begun to lose his breath and sight , and only by luck he managed to dodge a meteorite.
"Now !"-Suletta exclaimed as the bits flew out of their resting spots and begun the counter attack finally getting some hits on it with the beams destroying the beam sniper rifle. But was quickly surprised by the beam fired from its feet destroying the flight unit
"She lost the flight unit !"-Akatsuki reported as the sound of worried "Ah's" emanated throughout the shuttle
"Belmeria Winston , you set a wrong diagnosis. And I won't give up , SULETTA MERCURY !"-Elan finally exclaimed sending every GUND-bit stun laser he had at the Aerial , and they finally done it. They pierced Aerial's armour shutting off Aerial's leg systems
"I got it !"-Elan-4 exclaimed as Aerial's receptors lit up sending an EMP wave similar to Grassley's old "Antidote" units from decades ago shutting off not only the GUND-bits , but also the cameras
"Everything turned off , what did she do ?!"-Elan-4 asked as the wave reached Pharact sending a wave of pain into Elan-4. But in a blink of an eye he saw something , little girls circling around him. Meanwhile on the outside of Pharact's cockpit the GUND-bits spun around the Pharact. Before all of them pulled the trigger and rained Pharact with beams totalling Peil's Gundam and cutting off the antenna. Suletta had won
"YES !"-Akatsuki finally exclaimed lifting up his fist in the air in triumph feeling easy and relieved , 'So that's how dad felt as my RIO ? Yeah I'll stick to piloting'-he thought as he looked back to see Miorine with a relieved smile. He also gave her a smile to which she also smiled at him
"Have you recorded it ?"- Ryouji asked turning towards his Haro
"Decoding Permet Code , finishing recording"-The Haro said as meanwhile Aerial's GUND-bits returned back to their resting spots.
"Thank you , you did great Aerial. And call me weird but I had a feeling I could hear your more clear than other times"-Suletta thought before her attention shifted towards the ball-shaped cage hiding Pharact's panoramic cockpit
"E-Elan"-Suletta thought as she made out her mind on what she wanted to do , to help him out. Meanwhile inside Enhanced Person Number 4's mind finally something came back to him , a shining candle , and a woman with a smile that only one person can show someone. A smile of a mother , and he saw exactly that , and lived through the moment every second of it
"I understand now , so it's like that !"-Elan-4 happily exclaimed before closing his eyes , and unbeknown to him Suletta opened Pharact's cockpit
"Elan ? Elan ? Elan !"-Suletta tried getting to Elan-4 before grabbing his hand and jolting out of the cockpit
"Elan ? Im really sorry , I didn't mean to hurt you"-Suletta said as Elan-4 looked at her

A giant church in the centre of Chryse , he wore a tailored military uniform while both Suletta and Miorine wore beautiful white wedding dresses. Hundreds of guests waiting for that one phrase , of course their parents sat in the front seats , except for Miorine's dad because he was such an asshole he wouldn't show up on his daughter's wedding. With the paparazzi crew waiting to get photos of the freshly wed Demon Incarnate. After all the duels and fights and the "close" times the three spent it felt incredibly satisficing. Akatsuki immediately knew the answer
"I do"-Akatsuki said smiling at his in-few-seconds wifes. The priest then turned towards Suletta and Miorine
"We do"-both of them said as the priest smiled at them
"I pronounce you husband and wifes , you may kiss the bri-"-The priest was cut off by the crashing of the wall to reveal the Gundam Pharact , and much to everyone's confusement the cockpit hatch opened to reveal Elan wearing a suit
"Suletta Mercury ! I came all the way to Mars to fight for your hand !"-Elan exclaimed much to everyone's shock , and most notably the freshly-wedded wife
"B-But I-Im married now"-Suletta exclaimed as the other side of the church fallen Apart to reveal Titan Fraternity's Taris , the cockpit hatch open to reveal Katma Iolande holding a spade and pointing it at the Pharact
"Not so fast you poker-face prince ! Im here to challenge HER for Akatsuki Augus's marriage !"-Katma exclaimed as Elan got back inside the cockpit with Katma doing the same and two mobile suits igniting their beam sabers at each other
"Well , looks like it's a tuff nut to crack Marsboy"-Secelia said revealing herself causing a shock from Akatsuki
"SECELIA ?! I DON'T REMEMBER SENDING YOU AN INVITE ?!"-Akatsuki asked causing a chuckle from her
"You'll see Marsboy , just give it few seconds"-Secelia said as she snapped her fingers making herself disappear. But Akatsuki's questions weren't answered

Akatsuki jolted up from his bed covered in a layer of sweat and breathing for air. 'Damn it , I had such a nightmare. And the worst is that it was funny in the beginning'-Akatsuki thought as he got up and took a look on his notebook before it began ringing indicating that he woke up few seconds before the set alarm. It was 7:30 and that meant Friday , the last day of school. Normally many other students in his department would be afraid because of the test they will have from Technology Overview , but not him as he had it in his finger. But now his focus was on something else. That was getting up , getting himself in shape , make an Omelette and go to his class. And he fallowed though exactly that. But he couldn't find Suletta , so as he ate his food he couldn't wonder where she could go in the morning. He took a look at the Mobile Suit cages containing both dusted and battle worn Aerial and freshly cleaned up Barbatos AA. That was sitting and rusting instead of fighting like it was built for it. Akatsuki took a look on his notebook for any incoming challengers , and much to his surprise there wasn't a single request in his inbox. He then took a look at the supposed "Duellist Guild" forum that the battle hungry students read though the find opponents for duels. It wasn't hard to find the "LP077 page discussion" as he read though the comments in his mind '"MP23 says: I believe no one is crazy enough to take him all by himself , he is the Demon Incarnate and tops the bookmakers list" and KP125 replies : "The only person with 100% Chance of success according to most strategy students. And that he has light-years of experience ahead of others in terms of duelling , only with a death wish , or Guel Jeturk would poke the Demon with the stick. And we know what happened to him. With LP36 adding: "I've asked him for an autograph before glass and he seemed like a really nice guy , and not the type to brag about victories. But also seems kinda distanced from others aside from some core people , and that he chose the Earth House. I guess it's to prove something because otherwise I can't see someone joining out their own will". Sometimes I should use the internet , hell I don't even have an official profile page'-Akatsuki thought as he finished his food , as he washed his plate he noticed Nika passing him checking something on her notepad.
"Oi Nika , have you seen Suletta anywhere ?"-Akatsuki asked as Nika turned around towards her
"Miss Miorine came to get her while you were showering. Aperrantly they went to talk about the last duel with Elan. She did ask to say hello to you though , I've also finished tuning Barbatos's flight unit wings. They should be ready by the time of the next duel"-Nika said as Akatsuki took a look at her notepad to see Flight Wing's blueprints. And now since Akatsuki knew the first he decided to ask about the second
"Thanks Nika , and what about our "secret" project ?"-Akatsuki asked as Nika looked down
"Yeah , I got to work on it. But didn't you say that It would be technology defraudation ?"-Nika asked as Akatsuki glanced at Barbatos
"Let's just say that I believe that the duel between Pharact and Aerial showed me that my 100 percent could not be enough next time. And I know that Barbatos has much more potential that is halted behind the limiters , this is why I want to remove them"-Akatsuki said as Nika also looked at the Gundam frame
"I'll try to get to work on it , but I won't promise anything"-Nika said as Akatsuki nodded before finally topping his uniform with the blue and red variant of his TSC jacket and his backpack that were hanging on the nearby chair before finally walking away towards his class
"He's late !"-Miorine exclaimed as she was running out of patience , currently she and Suletta were waiting on the bench for Elan. Of course she would've want Akatsuki to do this instead of her but he was busy with a "project" regarding Barbatos with Nika and that meant she couldn't throw this whole thing at him
"He still has time !"-Suletta exclaimed defending him but Miorine had none of it
"He should be 5 minutes earlier"-Miorine countered getting up from the bench tired of her being put up
"Miorine , I wanted to thank you"-Suletta said as Miorine turned around for a bit but still enough to keep her blush hidden
"Just come back before closing"-Miorine said before leaving Suletta alone who kept smiling at the perspective of meeting Elan
"I beg you CEO Nugen , 4 is experienced. We couldn't even excavate the data collected during the duel !"-Belmeria exclaimed as the four Peil CEO's remained unshaken
"We cannot give a second chance to an Enhanced Person , that cant fallow orders. You should know it yourself"-One of the CEO's countered Belmeria's defensive stance to keep 4 alive
"We still have spares , prepare the next Enhanced Person"-another one said as meanwhile in another deep Peil facility Enhanced Person Number 4. Or Elan-4 , was hung on a rack , and while anyone else knowing what will happen to them they would freak out and beg to let them out. But not him , he was dead already , but not before he found his core memory , so he had a smile on his face. His only real regret was that he didn't make in time to his meeting with Suletta Mercury

"And that's all for today Captain , return to the recovery crew now"-Seras said over the comms as meanwhile inside the test mule Bael Mikazuki nodded as he reconfigured the prototype "Wings of Helios" prototype beam field propulsion generator and flew back to the recovery crew. It was well into the 3rd week of testing of Mikazuki's work in project Agnika. And immediately noticed how everything regarding money loosen up. His pay doubled up and now he could finally get to work on modernising his farming equipment. But he also enjoyed the ability to pilot again , of course the idea that he was working for a man that bombarded him with Dainsleif's was disturbing to say the least. He could provide more for his family and that what mattered to him. And doctor Seras was a good working partner , she wasn't the Old Man but it wasn't far behind from it. And he could see why Rustal kept her around for so long , and that was in her ingenuity. With the things like the "Wings of Helios" as she called them , beam field propulsion generators that allowed the suit to fly both in the atmospheric and space environment and probably took a decade in development , but also small things like the bit-beam shield installed on Bael's right forearm. The Bael landed as Mikazuki quickly opened the cockpit before leaving it via a ladder with Bael being imedatly took back with the elevator to the underground facility , Mikazuki wiped himself with a towel before taking off the upper part of his pilot suit and putting on his shirt before grabbing his bag and walking up towards Seras.

"Good , we're keeping the level three steady and without data storms. But im still mad about you giving two of my new prototype suits containing military technology to teenagers Captain"-Seras said as Mikazuki sighed just as the helicopter that was supposed take him home arrived.
"Wasn't the core block technology taken from Gjallarhorn Peacekeeping Group's archives ? Besides having those suits fight in a duel will be great advertisement. Not to mention that their Mass Production variants will become the main machine for the Core Army, goodnight doctor"-Mikazuki said before getting on board the helicopter. Seras only once again looked at the second frame and read though the unit's designation. "MCA-G-01-Gundam frame , designation unknown"
CHAPTER SEVEN EPILOGUE : END
A/N : The plot thickens ! And since I love coming up with R&D I loved writing that Epilogue , and the supposed Martian Gundam Frames won't show up until the time the second G-Witch cour will arrive. Hell they won't probably show up until the sequel fic. And yes , since this is a "new" timeline I decided to bring back the core block system but we won't see it in action until the supposed chapter 11 adapting Episode 8 , and don't worry it won't be clip shows and filler. And it will probably the first time since chapter 5 we get a proper original episode. Akatsuki will finally get his wish and that gut-punch to his pride will finally recover , or so it will see. But we still have a way to go. And as Always I don't own Gundam , that belongs to Bandai and Sunrise.
