But I have a plan for getting Luna back with Danny's help. And it is fine, that wasn't much of a rant

Adrianfilex622: that is a very interesting way to see it. Not sure if I will do the power absorption thing but I really like it. Don't know if I will have it that Danny's powers increased through the thousand years. As for the comic thing, it would be interesting and I could use it for a later chapter for a gag. TheWhiteTitan: Well, yeah but I feel like I didn't do enough or did a poor job if I did a word-for-word retelling. Yeah, I wanted to explain why Danny was in Equestria since I know readers would want to know why and how he got there. Pairing noted. Never saw equestrian girls. But if that is their ages in that then I suppose they are teens so it should work. And immortal ages don't really count in my opinion. Glad you liked it. Now, do you mean to have the song lyrics playing during the fight or Danny singing it during the fight?

LordGriffin1000: Sorry you're not a fan of the alternate. But then again I made it cause I was tired of reading the "friends betray him" and Danny gets taken away and suffers. I made it to show that Danny didn't need to suffer in order to start a new crossover fic. Yeah, I never thought they would have been suggested but the guy/girl told me that I could age them up to be a part of it and that if I wouldn't do that, there was an episode where the three became older. Both are viable suggestions but I don't know.

Chapter 3: The first

A brown book with a unicorn's head design on the center of the cover was laid on a table before it gained a magenta aura and opened up to a certain story.

"Once Upon a Time, in the magical land of Equestria, there were two Regal sisters who ruled together and created harmony for all the land."

An illustration of a white alicorn with a pink mane standing by a deep blue alicorn with a blue mane was seen on the page as the side with the white alicorn had the sight of the day while the other side being that of the night.

"To do this the eldest used her alicorn powers to raise the sun at Dawn."

The page turned to show the white alicorn raising the sun.

"The younger, brought out the moon to begin the night."

The next image showed the deep blue alicorn raising the moon.

"Thus, the two sisters maintained balance for their Kingdom and their subjects, all with different types of ponies."

In a circling swirl, it showed the two sisters continuing these tasks and a ring of ponies facing the swirl.

"But as time went on, the younger sister became resentful. the ponies relished and played in the day her elder sister brought forth, but shunned and slept through her beautiful night. One fateful day the younger unicorn refused to lower the moon to make way for the dawn."

The next few images showed the younger alicorn separated from the elder as the other ponies gathered around the sun princess. The next image was the younger princess standing in the middle of the night with the moon held high in the sky.

"The elder sister tried to reason with her but the bitterness in the young one had transformed her into a wicked mare of darkness: Nightmare Moon. She vowed she would shroud the land in eternal night."

The younger alicorn was enveloped in a darkness that seemed far more foul than her own night's shade. Her eyes then changed from the usual eyes she had into more sinister slits.

"But as she began her evil quest, something unexpected happened."

The illustration then showed the younger Alicorn turning to the side to see a shining star appear.

"Out of nowhere, a pony no one had ever seen before rose to the challenge and faced Nightmare Moon. No pony knew where this one had come from but he protected all he could and stood to the Sun princess's defense."

A black pony was seen standing before Nightmare moon, holding its head high to show no fear.

"Their battle lasted hours as the clash between the two shook the very earth, carving through the forests and causing much destruction to the area around."

The next image showed the two in heated conflict.

"One fighting to protect the sun, while the other wished to bring the night"

An image of Nightmare moon blasting a spherical shield around the unknown pony, as the eldest sister was being protected by it, was shown on the next two pages.

"But despite the pony's best efforts, it was not enough and the pony fell to her might and all hope seemed lost."

The black pony was now seen on the ground as Nightmare moon looked to be laughing at her victory

"Seeing no other way, the elder sister reluctantly harnessed the most powerful magic known to poneum: The Elements of Harmony."

The eldest Alicorn was then seen to have the gems around her as she glowed in rainbow radiance

"Using the magic of The Elements of Harmony she challenged Nightmare moon to one final clash."

The two were seen in a magical beam struggle.

"With the last ounce of strength, the unknown pony joined with the sun princess and they defeated her younger sister, banishing her permanently in the Moon, at the cost of the unknown pony."

The black pony was seen charging at the moon Alicorn's back in a way to distract her to be hit by the attack. After the attack was hit, the black pony was seen falling to the ground.

"To Honor the unknown pony's sacrifice, the elder Princess used much of her power to make a constellation in the shape of the pony to forever watch over the land it protected"

The elder was seen looking at the sky with a constellation of the brave pony that sacrificed his life for Equestria

"The elder sister took on responsibility for both sun and moon and Harmony has been maintained in Equestria for generations since."

The last image showed the eldest sister standing in between the night and day to show her taking up the task for both and being the ruler of Equestria.

Inside a tower in the castle of Canterlot was a purple Unicorn looking over a book as she read out loud the story of the current ruling of Equestria. She tapped her hoof on her chin as she thought about the story. "There are very few details about the one that came to help Princess Celestia. All that is shown is a silhouette and just the explanation of a black pony. And not only that but the 'elements of harmony'...where have I heard that term before?" She looked back at the book and saw a cite. "For more details, look up 'Mare in the moon'."

"Twilight, what are you reading?"

Twilight Sparkle, a Unicorn with the coloration of a light purple, while her mane is violet, purple, and pink, while her eyes were a dark purple.

She looked over her shoulder to see Spike picking up some of the books she had left open on the other table.

Spike was a little baby dragon that had light purple scales, a light green underbelly, and some green frills.

Twilight looked back to the book in front of her as she answered. "It's a story about why we have the Summer Sun Celebration. The story tells about the battle that Princess Celestia had to do at the start of it. But there are parts of it that grab my attention."

Spike picked up the books and moved to the ladder mean for the large shelves. "Well, the Summer sun celebration is in a week, so I'm guessing you got curious about it since you did say that the Princess seems sad every time it comes up."

Twilight nodded as that was the reason she had begun studying about it since she had noticed that the Princess's mood always seemed to sour in the upcoming days but during the time of the Celebration she seemed to regain her happier mood. Being the diligent student of the Sun Princess, Twilight felt it was her duty to understand what could be the cause.

Spike was on one of the high shelves as he looked out the window. "Well, it is getting late, and the sun is going to go down soon. You should put what you are doing on hold for the day. You should ask her why she is sad during this time."

Twilight looked out the window at the sun and then to the clock to see that what Spike said was true. She then shook her head as she spoke. "I can't just ask her something like that. It would be rude."

Spike shrugged as he made his way back down the ladder. "You really should just ask her."

She shook her head as she levitated the book and put it on the shelf. "As her most faithful student, I should solve this on my own." she looked out the window and saw that the sun was being lowered as the moon was being risen. As she saw the moon, she had a foreboding feeling at the sight of the image of the mare and stallion. "And I want to know what the stallion behind the mare means. One of my theories is that it is some secondary protection to keep Nightmare moon banished forever but….I don't know."

Spike looked at the moon next to Twilight and shrugged. "Who knows. But I think it isn't something you should worry about." he walked away from the window and made his way toward the hallway so he could get something to eat in the Royal kitchen

Twilight sighed as she eyed the images. "Maybe, your right." she turned around and chose to follow Spike as she was also wanting to find something to eat.

Unseen by the pony and dragon, the moon shimmered brightly. Somthing that many in Canterlot barely noticed in their peripheral but didn't fully capture the shimmer.

The bright green shimmer

~Canterlot castle Balcony~

Celestia sighed as she moved to where she had always gone to raise and lower the sun and moon. During the thousand years, she had grown in size and had matured more as the sole ruler of Equestria. As she looked up at her sun, her eye shifted to the spot on her left and saw an ethereal projection of her sister before she looked to her right and saw one of Danny. She sighed as the projections disappeared and brought a pang of guilt to her heart. She then channeled her magic and began to lower the sun and raise the moon, making sure that the moon was in the same place the sun was in. Once the moon was in place she smiled solemnly at it.

"Hello, Luna, Hello, Danny, I pray you two slept well during the day." She took a deep breath as she sat down. "Well, today was much like any other day, some royal duties that I oversaw and some small matters that my advisors brought to my attention." she smiled as she continued to gaze at the moon. "Do you remember one of the guards named Marshal Sea? He had told me that his mare-friend is now expecting. It was when he got this news that his plans had been pushed forward and asked me if he could use the audience chamber to propose to her. I could not help but smile at this and gave him my approval to use it but he would need to inform me when he would do so." her smile became a little solemn as she continued. "I am happy for him and that he has found a mare for him to spend his life with. I have seen many do so over time and it always brings a smile to my face."

She looked down as her voice became softer. "After a thousand years, I know the time is coming for your release and I should be happy at seeing you two again but... I'm afraid." She looked back at the moon. "I have a plan that can save you Luna and this time I am sure it will succeed. Remember my most recent student, Twilight Sparkle? I have determined that she is the new representation of the Element of Magic. But I have not found any of the other elements."

She got up from her sitting position as she gained a determined look as she gazed at the moon. "I know that the Elements are closely linked and that Twilight would be able to find the other representatives of the Elements. In all the locations that I have taken her, nothing seemed to resonate. But the last spot that they might be in is actually in the town that you helped with, Danny. The one you named." She smiled nostalgically as she remembered when Danny was with her in a discussion about the town and he jokingly suggested that they call it "Ponyville". She softly chuckled as she remembered telling him that it was a perfect name for it

She continued to chuckle as she recalled him giving her such a dumbfounded look when she took it seriously. "Since the other elements would most likely be in the same area, Twilight would be able to find each one and become close friends with them. But with how close the Celebration is, I will have to send her there on her own, as I feel I will have other matters that I must attend to." Her eye shifted from Danny's image to Luna's. "I hope my plan will work as I want you both back in my life."

She was lost in thought for a second before she regained her focus. "I just hope that when you two come back, you can forgive me for what I had to do that day. And perhaps, when you two return, everything can go back to…" she paused in her speech as she saw a shimmer.

Reflected in her widening eyes was the moon as it gained a green hue.

~Ponyville~

Sometime in the last thousand years, the town was built as the closest settlement to Canterlot. During the time of its existence, the ponies that moved into the town were excessively friendly and would treat everypony in a happy manner. After many ponies came to experience such friendly behavior, the town gained the title of "Friendliest place in Equestria".

In the town, lived an abundant number of different ponies of the three types.

~Sweet Apple Acres~

AppleJack and BigMac were pulling an empty cart that they had used to sell apples during their time in Ponyville.

Applejack Apple, a well-built female earth pony with a light orange coat, hay-colored mane and tail that was tied at the ends with a red band, emerald green eyes, some white freckles on her cheeks, and a stetson hat on her head. on her flank was her cutie mark which was an image of three red apples depicting her talent.

Bigmac or Big McIntosh, the older brother of Applejack, was an earth pony much bigger than his sister with a red coat with cream-colored hoof tips, orange mane and tail, forest green eyes, three white freckles under his eyes, a plow collar around his neck, and on his flank was a large green apple showing his affiliation to the talent being related to the Apple family.

Applejack wiped the sweat off her forehead with a smile on her face. "Hooey, Ah can say we had a good haul today. Not to mention that we sold all of our apples. Ah gotta say that it was a mighty fine day of hard work."

BigMac nodded to his sister as he responded. "Eeyup."

Before they entered the barn, Applejack looked back at the abundant trees and thought about where she would start her Applebucking since they needed to get ready for the upcoming Summer Sun celebration. It was a tough time for her family since they had to prep for the catering and their usual Apple selling. "Ah'm gonna have to get up earlier than usual in order to get the amount we need."

The two entered their family barn and began getting out of the straps attaching them to the cart. Both noticed that the sun had gone down and was now night and smiled at making it back in time.

~carousel boutique~

Rarity was in the middle of looking over a dress that she could not help but gush over.

Rarity, a female unicorn with a white coat, purple mane and tail that was stylishly curled, ocean blue eyes, and three blue diamonds on her flank as her cutie mark.

"Oh Darling, you have done it this time. This is the most gorgeous dress I have ever made."

The dress she was making had a long ballroom skirt that looked to be the purest white to ever exist and sparkled as you looked at it. The piece that would cover the stomach was a black corset that had a dark purple shimmer on it, over the chest it changed to white and decorated with butterfly design edges. Around the neck of the model was a choker that had the same shimmer as the corset and a pendant that was in the shape of a small white rose.

Rarity walked around the dress as she adored her new masterpiece. "Oh, Rarity, you do have a talent for this. You will be the envy of all the ponies that see this." her eyes then drifted to the hem of the skirt and frowned. "But I simply must add to this part." she used her magic to bring some materials for her to continue to work on it. "Now, what shall I add to the hem." she continued to work as the sun had fallen

~Forest cottage~

Fluttershy, a gentle female pegasus with a yellow coat, solid blue eyes, and long vibrant pink mane and tail, and the image of three butterflies on her flank for her cutie mark.

She was in the middle of putting her animal friends to bed. She tucked her bunny friend, Angel, into bed much to his slight annoyance. "Night, Angel. Tomorrow we will start practicing our birds singing for the Summer Sun Celebration."

Angel huffed a bit before nodding. He looked out the window to see the sun was still up and didn't like the fact that he was being put to sleep at such a time but Fluttershy requested that they get to bed early so they could wake up early.

Fluttershy nodded as she looked at the window in time to see the sun lower and the moon take its place. "It's time to go to sleep. Good night, Angel." She moved toward her bedroom as she was a little bit excited about the bird choir.

~in the sky above ponyville~

On one of the clouds was a female pegasus that had a cyan-blue colored coat, rainbow mane and tail, and on her flank was the image of a white cloud with a large lightning bolt that was rainbow-colored.

She was leaning on her back with her hooves behind her head as she napped. She was already asleep as the sun went down and the moon came up.

~Sugarcube Corner~

Sugarcube Corner, a well-known bakery shop, that sold many different types of treats.

inside was an earth pony that had a light salmon-colored coat, a pink poofy mane and tail, and an image of three balloons on her flank for her cutie mark.

This was Pinkamena Diane Pie, or what most ponies call her, Pinkie Pie

She was smiling happily as she trotted towards the door so she could flip the sign.

"Is it that time already? Oh, I did not expect the time of the day to end so quickly. Thank you, Pinkie, for all the help you gave today."

the one that spoke was Miss Cup Cake. A female Earth pony that had a baby blue coat, violet eyes, and a mane and tail colored with light and dark pink styled into a swirl reminiscent of an ice cream swirl, an image of three cupcakes for a Cutie mark, and wearing a yellow apron and pink earrings.

Pinkie spun around and walked backwards as she smiled at Miss Cake. "No problem. I looooove~ helping make all the tasty cakes." she licked her lips as she continued. "and I get to lick all of the tasty frosting when we finish one so I always get a tasty treat." She spun back around as she made it to the door and flipped the sign from "open" to "closed"

Miss Cake sighed good-naturedly as she moved from behind the counter and made her way to the back. "If you are still able, I could use some help with some orders that need to be done. They aren't needed until tomorrow afternoon but it would be great to get them ready for baking in the morning."

"Okie-Dokie Lokie." She began to follow Miss cake towards the kitchen but paused as she felt something. "Uh-oh."

Miss Cake heard the exclamation and turned around and asked. "Something wrong, deary?"

Pinkie looked up in thought for a minute till she shrugged. "I thought it was …."woOoOoOoOoOoOaAaAaAaAaAhHhHhHhHhHhH!"

Miss Cake grew worried at the sight of Pinkie vibrating so much in her shop. She knew of pinkie's quirks and most in Ponyville have seen a lot of them. This one, though, was something she had not seen before. She took a few steps back in worry as she asked. "Pinkie….is this one of your Pinkie-senses?"

Pinkie was vibrating so much in the shop that her own voice was vibrating. "uUuUuUuUhHhHhH-HhHhHhHhHuUuUuUhHhHhH."

"...which one?" came the question in a squeaky voice. She dreaded the answer since the level of a Pinkie-sense can vary, and with this one being so excessive, she worried about what it could mean.

For a split second, she stopped vibrating and looked at Miss Cake. "Twitchy tail." Her tail began to twitch so fast that Pinkie began to float in the air as the tail became a propeller.

Miss Cake's eyes widened to unbelievable proportions as her gaze followed Pinkie up. After a second, she shook her head and bolted to the door. Slamming it open, she screamed. "TWITCHY-TAIL LEVEL 10!"

Since the sun had only just gone down, most of the Ponies were still out and about, doing some last-minute errands. But the second what was shouted registered in their minds, they dropped what they were doing, panicked, and ducked under whatever they could or pressed themselves against the walls looking up for any sign of what it could be.

The moon shimmered green a few times as the image of the stallion on the moon's surface began to fade. After a few seconds of this, the image finally disappeared and the moon gained a green light before it condensed in the center and finally disappeared leaving the image of the Mare on the moon's surface.

Suddenly, falling from the sky, was a bright green fireball that tore through the clouds and created a loud boom that was heard for miles and shattered objects made of glass

The very earth shook at the loud sound that came from the fireball to the point that the ground cracked in several areas and it affected all of the ponies that were in Ponyville as it was the closest.

In Rarity's boutique, the shaking and loud boom caused her to lose control of her magic, sending the dress she was working on flying, losing balance, and rolling into her dresser, causing all of the products to fall on her as well as all the fabric rolls to scatter everywhere

At the Forest Cottage, all the animals were startled awake and Fluttershy fell out of her bed and rolled away before she regained her balance and ducked under a table

At Sugarcube Corner, all of the confectionaries fell to the ground and made a complete mess of the two ponies that were inside

The boom woke up Rainbow Dash in time to see a large green object heading her way. She was able to fly up just as the fireball broke through the very cloud she was using. She flailed in the air by the speed and force of the thing before she regained some control. "What the hay was that!?"

All the members of the Apple family felt the shaking and did their best to stay upright. Yet with the sheer force of the shockwave, they all lost their balance and hit the ground.

AppleJack and Bigmac fell to the ground and looked up as they saw the large green object heading right at them. They ducked as it flew over their heads and the force of its momentum caused them both to roll in the direction it flew. they both pushed themselves off the grounds and looked at where it was heading.

The fireball plowed through all of the trees in its way and made a massive trench in the Apple farm. a large explosion was heard, signifying that the fireball had finally stopped.

"Our trees!" Applejack got up from where she was laying and ran in the direction of where the fireball landed. She ran for a good while till she saw she was coming close to a crash site. "Ah don't care what in tarnation this thing might be but I'mma buck whatever it was that destroyed our trees." She saw that she was coming up to the crash site and was going to buck the damn rock that dared do damage to her family's farm. She saw that it was under a large pile of rock, dirt, and tree trunks, and was getting ready to dig through the pile to smash the rock that fell out of the sky but she had to cover her eyes as a brilliant white light lit up under it and peered through the cracks. Once the light died down, she moved closer to it. "What sort of alien hoo-ha came crashing into our farm?"

"Uuhhgh"

She paused as she heard a groan coming from the pile and didn't know whether to continue or not. She jumped as the debris began to shift and she saw something coming out of it.

Every Pony in Ponyville had started showing up to see what it was that caused all this panic.

When a good amount of the debris shifted a pony with a black mane and tan coat dropped his head onto one of the trunks. "Anyone get the number of the train that ran me over?" He lifted himself up before losing all strength, collapsing, falling down the large pile of debris, and bouncing off rocks and trees before he hit the ground floor.

AppleJack stared wide-eyed at the sight of the clearly wounded pony as he was covered in burns and gashes from what she assumed to be from being hit by the fireball.

Not knowing that the pony was the fireball.

She was so shocked at the sight that she had yet to realize that there were other ponies with her.

Applejack then shook her head as she finally noticed the murmuring from the others and shouted out. "Somepony get Nurse Redheart or Doctor Whooves! Now! He's in bad shape!"

The group of ponies scurried around trying to see if any of the hospital ponies were there since they had a severely injured pony that looked like he wouldn't make it if he didn't get any medical attention soon.

Danny looked up with blurry vision to see that he was surrounded by other ponies. "Where… am I?" He felt his consciousness leave him as he shut his eyes. 'Did Celestia do it….?'

~meanwhile~

"It's gone, his image is gone!" Celestia was pacing back and forth on her balcony, not taking her eyes off the moon that now only had Luna's image. She had seen that green fireball fall down towards Ponyville and her mind was racing with what it could mean. "Was that him? Was he released from his imprisonment? But….there is still a week till the thousand years are up!" She took her gaze off the moon as she sat down and put a hoof to her chin. "Should I go and see if it is him? But what if it wasn't him? I still have duties that I must attend to and with The Summer sun Celebration quickly approaching I will be busy with all the preparations I will be expected to tend to. If it is him, I wouldn't be able to find him in time." She took a deep breath as she looked back up at the moon. "No, Luna right now is the most concerning priority. Hopefully, when all this is over and Luna is back, I can see him along with Luna and ask for them to forgive me"

She looked down towards Ponyville and thought to herself. 'I truly hope that was you, Danny, and that you are well. This thousand-year issue will soon be resolved.' Taking her eyes off the town, she moved back into her room and towards a painting that she had hanging on the wall. Using her magic she moved it to reveal a safe that had no dial or keyhole. She focused her magic on the safe door, which registered her specific magic signature, and opened up to reveal a backpack floating inside a transparent bubble of magic. "And I can finally return this to you."

On the bag was the embroidered name: Danny Fenton.

End of chapter

Originally this was going to be a longer chapter but after I wrote a 13K word chapter for my Naruto x star war fic, I did not have the energy to make this longer.

As many of you must have realized, this is set a week before the original first episode happened. Though I kept the storybook opening with the alterations to include Danny. Though it is also doing very slight foreshadowing. So slight that even I can't see it :P.

I wanted to have some sort of commemoration of Danny's bravery and I originally was going to have it be a statue but then I thought of the constellation thing and how Danny would love that when he finds out.

The reviews seem to like the celestial sisters, the mane 6, Zecora, Sunset shimmer, or all of them together.

Got more Pms about the pairing. Got the same for the Cutie mark crusaders, (think it's the same person but under a different name) but another pm asked for Cheerilee (I think she is the teacher.) and another couple for Miss Cupcake, and another for Princess Cadence

I will be making a poll at some point for the pairing. But if you make a suggestion, please give me a reason and I will think about it
