TheWhiteTitan: glad you liked it. Gonna have to do some research on Maud Pie. I remember hearing about her and that she is Pinky's sister. I will see if I can work in Caleb Hyles song into it. We will see when the chapter comes

Jebest4781: Yeah, I already planned Danny's reaction to the constellation. :)

Julimart: Actually, I like those ideas. I think I'll use them. And the poll just makes it easier for me cause I am usually indecisive on who the pair the MC with.

Simm36: yeah, I don't want to rush into things so it will be a while before relationships are brought up. But maybe snippets of potential here and there

Chanderx93: I figured the legend would go that way as the ponies saw a black pony helping out. I thought it would be a nice little chuckle to have Danny be the one to name the town. And for the CMC, I could do that, since it does work for spike

Tiamat Dragoness: thanks Tiamat. I couldn't help but use the twitchy tail thing

Guest: from what I could find, yeah, Sunset shimmer is in another dimension but I kinda have an idea on meeting up. as for Cadence, I didn't know that. I'll have to consider that.

Adrianfilex622: you actually gave me an idea for later chapters so thank you for that. As for the Sonic Rainboom, I have another idea for that.

ArashiNokitsune: of course, he is in for a lot. But that's where the fun is.

The Fan of awesome: glad you liked it so much. And Danny will have an effect on all of them, whether they get together or not. And sorry for the wait

Felisfernus18: Danny is going to have an interesting time in Ponyville. Hope you enjoy how things turn out

A6spike: I could help but use a lullaby for a princess since I enjoyed the video and music. Thank you for liking my drawings. that is a very interesting thing for Spike and the CMC. I really like your theory, well thought out. I have a reason for it and for the upcoming chapters. I hope you look forward to it. :)

Cg037: thanks

Nightfrightpony: here's more

Guest 2: we will see the relationship as the story goes on

LordNoobReview: well, I know very little of the series myself. I only watch the first season and never got far into season 2. I think it is an ok series and it might get better later. Glad you liked how I set things up and the fight I did. Was the fun part of the chapter. Anyway, the pairing is only a small part of the story. I really like pairings but in my story, I tend to have the pairing happen much later and the story takes priority. I'm also very indecisive about them so that's why I have polls and multiple pairing. Hope you continue to like this story as I build it up. Also a heads up, not a warning just a clarifying. There is blushing here but it is mostly due to Danny's awkwardness and general action. Not setting things up to be a pairing, just me thinking it would be how he would react.

Defiknight2910: thank you

Guest 3: interesting…..I could use that element thing

Latios Worker: He certainly knows how to make an entrance to the town he named.

EmperorSnorlax: sorry for the wait. Hope you enjoy this chapter

Bunnbear: we all have a guilty pleasure. Glad you like this one

MURoomie: interesting idea. Might use that

Darkangelsouls123456: sorry for the wait, updated

Dan the bluewolf: I just felt that the two would be good friends. Also, I went back to fix it. Thanks for the heads up

Guest 4: Updating

Angieladraws: here's what happens next

Narutodragon: thanks and the pairing will be found out later

Anonymous: updating

S-P-M-C 13: ok

Guest 5: Updating

The Re-reader: here's more

Valle95: yes, I left it there cause I'm evil. Mwahahaha. Anyway, enjoy the chapter

Guest 6: updating and the same to you :)

Sorry for the wait. When I finished the last chapter I got into a funk and I slowed down on writing. Trying to get back into it but it takes a bit.

As a sorry for not updating this in a bit, here's a long chapter. Hope you enjoy

Chapter 4: Interesting meetings

*beep…..…beep*

The first thing Danny's hazy mind registered was the beeping of something close by. He felt that he knew what it was but his mind still couldn't remember it

*beep….beep*

He knew for a fact that the sound was something that he really wasn't supposed to like due to what it meant. His mind was still too groggy to figure it out

"Dr. Greymare, his pulse is finally speeding up!"

"Really? Do we know the cause? What was different from before?! Nurse Redheart, what is the BPM?"

"40 beats and rising."

Danny's mind was registering what these terms meant and his consciousness was returning to him faster. 'Doctor?...nurse? Does that mean…..? I'm in a hospital?!' His eyes shot open and he saw the clear sign of a hospital room. He panicked as he sat up and began to scramble backward. "What the?! Where?! What!?" it was then that his hoof slipped of the bed and he followed it to the ground. "Gah!" he crashed into the floor before groaning in pain.

Dr. Greymare and Nurse Redheart panicked at seeing him fall out of the bed and Dr. Greymare used his magic to levitate him off the ground and gently placed him on the bed. "Easy, you don't want to worsen the injuries that you have."

Danny's blurry vision began to clear and he looked at the two that were talking. He tilted his head as he saw a pair of ponies looking at him in worry. 'Wait ponies? What are…oh right.' He looked down at himself and remembered his meeting with Clockwork and Infina, his arrival in Equestria and Canterlot, his meeting with the princesses, and the battle with Nightmare Moon and the end of the fight. He would have thought about that more but was brought out of them when the unicorn Doctor walked up to him.

"Well, it's good to see that you are conscious but it would be best if you don't overdo things. You were hit by something that fell from the sky only yesterday and it is a good thing that you weren't hurt that badly. Then again, I might be wrong here but it appears that you seem to heal at a fast rate. When we brought you in, we were worried about the severity of your injuries but after a few hours, you were out of the worse of it though you are still heavily injured."

Nurse Redheart nodded as she followed up. "I had been on observation ever since you came in and had noticed the speedy recovery. And it was because of your fast recovery that we didn't try anything since we were not sure if it would affect your healing. Though we did put in a monitor to observe your vitals, which admittedly caused us panic when it seemed to not register your heartbeat. It was later that we figured that your heartbeat is going at a slower rate as you healed. And once you were closer to being fully healed, that it was normalizing since before you fell, and popped the device off of you, it returned to normal."

"Yeah, let's go with that." He was sure that his heart rate didn't really return to normal rather than just speed up in his panic as he realized that he was in a hospital. But if they were going to give him an excuse, he was going to use it.

The Doctor then used his magic to grab a clipboard and pen as he moved next to the bed Danny was in. "Now, there are a few questions that I need to ask you. Do you mind?"

Danny looked at the clipboard before nodding. His experience in the human world had made him wary of hospitals but he had to tell himself that this world is far more peaceful and had no prejudice or even knowledge of ghosts. So he didn't have to worry about them going to do some surgical experiments. "Sure."

The doctor nodded before looking at the clipboard. "Can you tell me your name?"

"Danny."

"Your full name?"

Danny hadn't told anyone here his full name and figured that it didn't really matter. But now, it seemed that he had to, and for some reason, he felt relieved that he was doing this…. without worry. "Danny Fenton. D-a-n-n-y F-e-n-t-o-n"

The Doctor nodded as he wrote the name down on the paper. "Your current residence?"

Now Danny felt sheepish as this was something he didn't think of. "I uh….don't have one. I'm a traveling pony and haven't settled anywhere permanently."

The doctor nodded and wrote some more things down. He wrote some more notes stating that Danny seemed to not have suffered any bit of amnesia. It was when he got to the latest question that his professionalism seemed to diminish as he felt slightly guilty for asking this. "And….can you tell me what your….. Cutie mark signifies?"

Nurse Redheart, who was on the opposite side of the bed, where Danny couldn't see, bit her bottom lip as she also felt guilty for the question. She was ready to console him when he would begin to feel depressed. It was what was expected from such a question for any pony that was reminded of their blacked-out cutie mark. What they got was…

Danny looked to his flank to spot his mark would be. He couldn't see it since his leg was wrapped in bandages with several other spots on his body. He thought back to the shape of the mark and could only think of one thing. "I think it is a silhouette of a rocket." seeing the confusion on the doctor's face, he tried to clarify. "A machine that allows ponies to travel into space. Though, I'm not sure if that is what it really is."

Danny had never been told about the Forsaken ponies so he was unaware of the stigma he had when his cutie mark was visible. But also, since he came into this world with it already set as black, he didn't know what it might have been.

He said it so nonchalantly that it startled both Doctor and nurse. They didn't expect such a flippant answer from a forsaken when reminded of their mark. And the fact that he said "I think" tells them that it had been that way for so long that he either no longer remembers, it came out as such, or his memory of it was foggy.

Doctor Greymare looked back on the paper he was doing and wrote "space-related/Forsaken" on the line where the cutie mark description should go. "Well, I would recommend you hold off on your travels since despite how you are out of the severe condition you were when you came in, you are still very badly hurt and will need some time to recover."

Danny nodded as he figured that the doctor knew best.

Nurse Redheart moved closer as she spoke. "And even when you are released, I would recommend that you come back daily since from what we could tell, your muscles have atrophied a lot. It is almost as if you haven't used them for some time, which is odd since you said that you are a traveler."

Danny looked at his legs before lifting his right foreleg and bent it a few times. Even he could tell that they were skinnier than they used to be. This confused him since he was unsure why they would be that way.

Nurse Redheart continued, with a slight reprimanding tone. "I understand that unicorns tend to focus more on magical aspects but that does not mean you can just ignore your own physical health."

Danny chuckled nervously at the reprimanding tone she gave him. He was never good at women scolding him for something he did…or any scolding for that matter. He rubbed the back of his neck with his hoof till something she said registered in his head. 'Wait….what?'

Nurse Redheart didn't seem to notice his shock at the end as she nodded and moved to the door with Doctor Greymare behind her. She allowed him to walk past her as she looked back at Danny. "Be sure not to do anything strenuous. We will be keeping you here for another day before we consider your release." she left the room to let Danny rest.

Once Danny was left on his own, he thought back to what she had just said. "Unicorn? But I'm not a unicorn." He sighed as he tried to think about what he went through and ran his hoof through his mane.

The issue was that his hoof hit something in the middle of his head.

He froze as his hoof stayed where it was for a second before he moved his hoof up and down on the thing that he hit. The weirdest thing was that he could feel it, not just in his hoof but on whatever it was on his head. His eyes widened before he brought his other hoof up and parted his mane to show that there was now a horn in the middle of his head. 'What the hell! WHERE DID THAT COME FROM!?' he panicked and fell off the bed again.

As if to make fun of him more, his horn got stuck in the floor.

Danny groaned in pain before he tried to pull the horn out of the floor as he thought to himself. 'Where did this horn even come from?! I know for a fact that it wasn't there before I fought Nightmare Moon!' He thought back to the times he had to clean himself in the water and when his mane was soaking wet, there was a clear lack of horn there so he was an earth pony when he arrived. Where did this horn come from? He finally pulled his new horn out of the ground before plopping his head on the bed, only to pin his ears back and shrink in on himself a bit as he saw Nurse Redheart glaring at him disapprovingly and tapping her hoof on the ground.

"What did I just say?"

Danny felt like he shrunk at the glare as he responded. "Not to do anything strenuous."

"Mm-hmm." she continued to tap her hoof as she watched him slowly get back on the bed and lay there like he was supposed to. "Good, now I came here to tell you that you have a visitor. Since you have the energy to disobey me, I think you are well enough to receive a visitor. But…" she moved closer to him and was now muzzle to muzzle with him. "You are to not. Do. Anything. Strenuous!" her eyes narrowed as she pinned him in place with her gaze

Danny sheepishly nodded as he didn't know why but Nurse Redheart can be scary when she wants to be. "Yes, ma'am."

The scary look n the nurse's face disappeared as she smiled brightly at him. "Good." she moved to the door and looked into the hallway. "You can come in now."

Danny watched as another mare came in and he took in her features. She was a pony with an orange-colored coat with a sunshine blonde colored mane and tail, both of which were tied at the ends with a red band, eyes the color of forest leaves, and she had a brown Stetson hat placed on her head that seemed to suit her. He noticed that she had a good amount of muscle in her legs that gave him the impression that she was physically fit and on her flank was an image of three apples. He had to wonder what the apples meant for her cutie mark since he still had little to no knowledge about what a cutie mark really means.

The mare smiled at the stallion on the bed and raised a hoof. "Howdy, good ta see ya up and not as hurt as ah thought at first."

Danny could clearly hear the heavy accent she had and never thought he would ever hear someone have a strong farmgirl accent. Mainly cause he lived his life in a city before he came to this world.

Nurse RedHeart nodded before she began to leave the room. She paused at the door and looked at the mare. "Make sure he doesn't do anything that can cause his injuries to get worse."

The orange mare nodded. "Got it."

Once the two were alone in the room, the orange mare walked up to the bedside and sat down. "Glad ta see ya awake after that heavy hit ya took." She tipped her hat back as she smiled. "But where are mah manners? Names AppleJack, AppleJack Apple. Howdy."

Danny smiled at AppleJack and introduced himself. "Nice to meet you, Applejack, I'm Danny, Danny Fenton." As he gave his name he couldn't help but mentally ask himself. 'AppleJack Apple? Her family must have a thing for the fruit if they named her after it.'

Applejack raised an eyebrow as she gave a confused frown at the name he gave. "Well, I'll be honest, never heard somepony with a name like that." she then regained her smile. "But it is nice ta meet ya, Danny." she then frowned inquisitively. "But I gotta ask, what were ya doing on my family farm, and at that time ah night?"

Danny scratched his head as he answered. "Well, I'm not sure how I ended up on your farm. Actually, I didn't even know there was a farm in Canterlot."

Applejack tilted her head in confusion. "'Canterlot'? Mah farm ain't in Canterlot, it's in Ponyville. That's where ya are right now."

Danny was dumbfounded as he was told this. "'Ponyville'?" He thought about the name for a second since it sounded familiar but it just wouldn't click. It was like on the tip of his tongue but just wouldn't come out. 'I know I heard that name before but I can't remember where.' "so I'm in Ponyville. Wonder how I got here."

Applejack rubbed her forehead with her hoof as she shrugged. "Honestly couldn't tell ya, partner. But Ah'm surprised that you're awake after that heavy hit. Darn big green fireball must have just missed ya if ya were able ta get away from it. You're lucky, Ah'll give ya that."

Danny gave a nod as he smiled at her for the concern she had for a complete stranger. "Well, thanks. I never considered myself lucky but I guess if I…." it was then that what she said registered in his head. 'wait….I was almost hit by a green…. But there aren't any ghosts here.' gulping a bit he asked. "Um, Applejack, that green thing that almost hit me, was it green and white?"

The Mare scratched her head as she thought about the meteor. "Well, mah brother and I didn't really get a good look at it since we ducked down as it flew past us, but I reckon it was."

Danny was now nervous as he continued with a tinge of worry in his voice. "And you said that you found me close to where it might have crashed."

"Mah family and I haven't been able to find the darn thing that did so much damage to mah family farm but yeah."

Danny winced at the knowledge of the amount of damage he might have done cause he was sure about one thing and he felt the need to tell her. "Well….I think that meteor was …..actually ….me." the last word came out in a small voice that was unhearable.

He had been called clueless by his friends and sister many times but that didn't mean he was dumb. With all the times he had to figure somthing out with what little he knew, he had gained some talent in putting pieces together.

Applejack raised an ear and brought a hoof to it as she asked. "What was that?"

Danny sighed and figured that it would be better if he just got this out of the way and dealt with the lashing he knew he was gonna get. "I think the meteor that crashed into your farm was actually… me." Seeing her eyes widen he tried to come up with an explanation. "Well, you said it was green and white, which are colors that are affiliated with me and if you found me where it crashed down, I think that I was the meteor." The second he finished, he found his head being held by Applejack's hooves as she shook it in anger and exasperated agitation.

"What in tarnation did you do to make yourself a meteor and crashed into mah farm?! Ya destroyed so many of our trees and we need tah get ready for the Summer sun Celebration! Not tah mention that we pride ourselves in our trees and you up and crash through them!"

"I'm sorry! I'm sorry! I'll do what I can to fix it!"

"There ain't no fixing them! The trees are gone and it will take a long time for us tah grow more!"

He tried to think of a way to fix this but he couldn't think of anything, especially with his mind being scrambled. "How can I make it up to you!?" Danny finally felt his face be free from her hooves and the shaking before he flopped back down onto the bed

Applejack let out a huff as she felt better releasing that frustration. "Right now, ya can't help, what with ya being all bandaged up halfway to being a mummy."

Danny looked at his body and it was sort of true. His lower half was wrapped in bandages with it stopping halfway down his lower legs, along with his chest, and his right front leg. Not to mention some patches on his shoulders and one on his cheek.

"If ya really want to help, then when you are able tah, come to our farm and maybe we can find something for ya to do." She then gained a hard look before thrusting her hoof in his face. "And ya better show up or Imma find ya and hogtie your flank before draggin ya to mah family farm!

Danny rapidly nodded as he couldn't help but think. 'She's scary, too.'

Applejack's hard look dropped as she smiled at him agreeing with her. "Well, Ah may not like how ya destroyed our trees but Ah am glad you were honest with me."

Danny was happy to see that she was no longer giving him a glare that would almost send him all the way to the other side and smiled sheepishly as he rubbed the back of his head with his hoof. "Yeah, I'm not a very good liar and I've been told that I couldn't lie to save my life."

Applejack nodded with a smile. "Well, Ah think it better ta always be honest." She turned back to the door and made her way out. At the doorway, she looked over her left shoulder. "Ah am glad you are ok and Ah look forward ta seeing ya when ya are better." She then tipped her hat. "Have a good day."

Danny waved as she left and saw Nurse Redheart come in. He deadpanned when she came in as he thought. 'How come she comes in and gets on my case when I accidentally fall to the ground but when my face is being shaken as if it is an 8-ball that isn't working, she doesn't hear any of it?'

Nurse Redheart made her way to Danny's bedside with a tray being held up by one of her hooves. She placed the tray down in front of him and smiled. "I know hospital food isn't the best but it is better that you eat something to get better."

Danny smiled in gratitude before looking at the food on the tray. He knew that this would be what he would have to eat but he still couldn't help but find it funny. 'Haha, take that, Sam, I eat healthier than you do now. Oh, Tucker would faint if he saw this on his plate.'

On the tray was a small pile of hay, a couple of daisies, and for a drink, he had a glass of water.

Danny smiled as he began to eat his meal and couldn't help but think back to when he first ate hay when he got to this world.

He was extremely surprised that he found it the best thing he had ever tasted but after some thought, it shouldn't have surprised him that much. And the thought of eating Nasty burger again almost made him sick….except for the fries.

~two days later~

"Now, you are not to do anything overstrenuous. You are still healing and we expect you to come back for physical therapy for your hind legs."

Danny nodded as he and Nurse Redheart were standing outside the hospital with the nurse giving him a stern look.

Danny wasn't sure how mad the nurse was with him since he had given them a tough time during the two days he had stayed there. He had learned that they hadn't done bloodwork on him yet since they weren't sure if it would be wise to take some from him since he had a very low BPM after he was found at the crash sight. But when they saw that he had improved, they informed him that they would take some blood to make sure there was nothing else wrong with him.

Problem was that Danny was very much against that.

Every time they came into his room to do it, they found that he had disappeared and they had sent out ponies to find him since he was still hurt. After some time, they would find him back in his bed as if nothing was wrong. This happened several times, with Nurse Redheart becoming frustrated with him and personally looking for him when she came in and he wasn't there.

After a certain number of times, she asked him why he kept disappearing. He had asked her, almost pleadingly, to not do any blood work on him. Even after she explained the benefits of it, he still did not want to do it.

Reluctantly, she had brought this up with Doctor Greymare and they decided they wouldn't do it.

However, after that, Nurse Redheart kept checking up on him to make sure he wasn't escaping his room when he should be resting.

The Nurse pointed in a direction as she continued. "You will find the Mayor's office in that direction. She will be able to help you find accommodations during your stay. I will meet with her later to find out where you will be staying so you won't have to come back and inform me." She then looked at him and spoke in a firm tone. "Make sure that if you begin to feel tired, you stop moving and rest till your energy comes back. You are still weak so we don't want to stress your muscles too much."

Danny nodded. "Yes, ma'am."

She nodded. "Good, then I will see you tomorrow."

Danny smiled and nodded. "Thanks for taking care of me." He began to walk away in the direction of the Mayor's office. He looked over his shoulder to see her waving to him and he nodded his goodbye. As he slowly walked through town, he looked around to see that he really wasn't in Canterlot. It was almost like he went from the big fancy bustling city to a quaint little town out in the country. 'Nice place.' something else he noticed as he walked was how weak he felt. It felt that the distance he walked was the equivalent of him running a marathon. 'Damn, I really feel so weak.' He moved to the side and leaned on the wall of a building to catch his breath. Another thing that bugged him was that not only did his body feel weak, but it felt like his powers were weak as well. He felt worse than the time he fought Pariah Dark, and he was out of commission for some time after the fight. Sure he could use his invisibility while in the hospital but he felt exhausted after using it.

And that was one of his easier powers.

He didn't want to test out his other powers if his easiest tired him out.

After catching his breath, he continued his journey to the Mayor's office. While he grew closer to it, he couldn't help but pray to himself. 'Plea~se, don't be a fruitloop. I don't want to deal with another one here.'

~Mayor's office~

Danny walked into the building after a few stops for rest and looked around before spotting a mare at the front desk. He made his way to her and asked. "Excuse me?" Seeing he had her attention, he continued. "I was told that I could speak with the mayor for a place to stay?"

The mare smiled as she said. "Ah, you must be the one that the hospital said would show up. Yes, the Mayor is waiting for you." she pointed to her left and continued. "She is in that room looking over some things. Just walk in and announce yourself, even if she looks busy. She is expecting you and told me to let you through."

Danny nodded his thanks and made his way. Once he was through the door, he saw another mare, this one with a tan coat and gray mane, looking through some papers. "Excuse me?"

The mare put the paper in her hooves down and looked up to see her guest. "Ah, you must be the one from the Hospital. Danny, right?" seeing him nod, she moved from her desk. "Well. I was told by Nurse Redheart that you need a place of residence during your stay here. I must say that I was surprised to see how badly hurt you were after such a horrible incident. Though with how you are now, I suppose that you are still far from doing alright."

Sanny looked at himself and nodded. "Yeah, I was told I looked halfway to being a mummy."

The Mayor chuckled softly. "I can agree with that statement. "Oh, where are my manners? I am Mayor Mare. now with how hectic things are right now, I was unable to find someplace for you to take a semi-permanent residence but there is a building that isn't being used at the moment so is it possible for you to accept this for the time being till I have the time to find a more accommodating place for you?"

Danny shrugged as he wasn't really picky at the moment. "Sure, anyplace right now is good right now since I am new around here."

Mayor Mare smiled as she moved to another cabinet and pulled out a piece of paper. "Well then, how about I lead you to your temporary residence so you know where to go?"

Danny tilted his head as he asked. "Are you sure? Aren't you busy?"

The Mayor nodded. "Yes, but my secretary can handle things till I get back. We are a bit ahead of schedule in many areas so we should still be ready for the Summer sun Celebration happening in four days." She moved to the door and gestured for him to follow. "Well, come along, we don't want to waste the day."

Danny smiled as he followed the Mayor. 'A Mare is the Mayor and she is called Mayor Mare. ok. Not the most on-the-nose name I've heard. Box ghost still beats everyone on that.'

The two made it to the building the Mayor was talking about. It took them a bit longer than usual but the Mayor didn't seem to mind.

"Well, here we are." She pointed to the tree-like that almost seemed to have a building growing within it.

Danny looked up in awe at the sight. "Woah! this place is huge for a house."

The Mayor giggled before she clarified. "That's because this doubles as the library." Seeing him look at her in confusion, she continued. "At the moment, this is the only building with lodging that isn't being used. As I said before, with how hectic things are right now, this is the best I could do. When the celebration is over, I will find a more suitable place for you."

Danny looked back to the town and could see that all of the ponies were working on something or other. He remembered when Spirit week was going on at his school, everyone was trying to get things ready. That was before Spectra came in and drained everyone of their energy. Looking back at the Mayor, he smiled. "That's fine. Any roof over my head is appreciated."

The two walked into the library with Danny looking all around at the interior. He saw that there were stairs that led to an upper level and a lower level. It made sense since the exterior was huge. He would have to explore the rest of the place when he could.

Mayor Mare led him to the center of the main lobby before turning around and looking at him. "Now, there are a couple of bedrooms that can be used so you can have your pick of any of them. Now I was also told that you are to rest as much as possible since you were injured from the crash. Nurse RedHeart informed me that you are a bit of a …uncooperative patient so she gave me a message to relay. 'If your condition gets worse due to you not heading my advice, I will strap you down and make sure you comply with my methods' was what she told me."

Danny sheepishly chuckled. "Right. I will."

Mayor Mare nodded with a soft smile. "Good. Now, I have some things I have to take care of so I will leave you to your new dwelling. Nurse Read heart said that she will be here tomorrow around noon."

Danny nodded to her as he watched her make her way towards the door. "Thanks for this."

The Mayor made it to the door before looking back. "No worries. I hope you are well enough to be part of the Celebration."

Danny nodded before he remembered something. "Oh, wait, one more thing!"

"Yes?"

"Where can I find the farm I was found in?"

"The Apple Farm? Why would you need to know that?"

"I told AppleJack that when I can, I would go over there and pay back the damage that happened in any way I can."

The Mayor thought about it for a second but figured that he might have felt somewhat responsible for what happened. She smiled before she pointed in the direction of the farm. "You can find the Apple farm a few miles in that direction. But I must insist that you rest for now. You will be able to help them when you are better."

Danny nodded. "Right." With that the Mayor left, leaving Danny on his own. "Well, now what to do?" he walked around the library before realizing that he had plenty of things to entertain himself. He chose to look at the shelves on the first floor since just looking at the stairs tired him out. 'Ugh, I hope my powers get me back up to speed soon. At least if I can use my floating I can get there without any problem.' He saw a few titles that sounded interesting and couldn't help but imagine Mr. Lancer shouting titles like "Great Mane on the Hay" or "Mare and the Dragon". Finding a book that he figured he might find interesting, he pulled it off the shelf, with a bit of difficulty, and began to read it to pass the time.

~Next day~

"Do you need to treat me like I am a criminal about to bolt?" Danny looked up at his warden…. Or helper.

Nurse Redheart gave him a look that said that was exactly how she saw him. "If you hadn't disappeared so many times in the hospital, I wouldn't treat you as such."

Right now, Danny was sitting on a cushion, with Nurse RedHeart holding onto his right leg and massaging it to stimulate the muscles in it. She had removed some of the bandages, so he no longer looked like he was halfway to being a mummy. But she didn't remove the one that covered his cutie mark.

More because she felt it would be extremely rude and personal.

Danny was blushing as he wasn't used to this kind of treatment. And he tried to keep his mind from thinking too much about this since his mind went way~ too far in literal things.

To clear that up, ponies don't wear much clothing.

And that is as far as he was willing to let his mind go, cause any further would bring out his ghost form without him willingly transforming. 'Been a pony for, what, a couple of months? And I'm still not used to it!'

"Your muscles have improved much more than they should have."

Danny was thankfully brought back to this and looked at her with a questioning look. "What do you mean?"

RedHeart put his right leg down before moving to the left leg and began to bend it before she began to massage it. "From what I could feel, your muscles have improved as if you had been in physical therapy for a month. Your muscles are still much too weak to be considered usable for normal use but you are much better than you were yesterday."

Danny was glad to hear that he was healed much faster than he thought he would be so he asked. "So does that mean I won't need to do any of the physical therapy?" He was rewarded with a glare that made him flinch.

"No! I don't know what was allowing you to heal much faster but as a medical professional, I will not just accept such a flimsy excuse like 'you heal fast'."

Danny shrunk in on himself and nodded. "Ok." He remained silent as she continued to medically massage his limbs, shoulders, and hips.

After his massage, he was told to walk around the room several times to see how long he could last.

Danny noticed that he had been able to walk longer than he could yesterday but even if he could, he still tired faster than normal.

Nurse Redheart took some notes about his recovery and the rate she thought it might take for him to get back to potentially get back to normal. "Ok, I think we can call it for now. You are better so walks should be ok for you to take, but I still recommend that you rest when you feel tired and not overstrain yourself."

Danny sat down on a cushion and nodded. "I won't argue against that since I'm tired already."

The nurse nodded before she got up and made her way to the door. "Remember that you are to rest til I say you are allowed to. But with how well you are now, you should be able to join the celebration. I will see you tomorrow, Danny."

"Bye, Nurse Redheart." Once she was gone, he plopped down and wondered what he should do now. Thinking that he should explore the town, he waited for about thirty minutes before he went out.

Danny couldn't help but smile at the sight of the town. Before, he only saw small glimpses of it before he had to take a break, but now he could fully see it. "Man, I should have come to this town sooner. Canterlot might be nice and all, but this place feels like a vacation spot." As he looked around the town….

"Look out!"

"WAH!" he suddenly felt something crash into him. After a bit of a tumble, he tried to get up and into a fighting stance, but he couldn't since his legs were tangled up in something. "What the?"

"Sorry about that."

Danny looked at what had tangled him, only to see gray and yell. He then began to try and untangle himself while feeling that the pony, who he guessed was a mare based on the voice, was doing the same. "Try moving your hoof to the right."

"Like this?"

"No, your other right."

"Here?"

"That's your back hoof. Try your right hoof. OW!"

"Sorry."

After some time fumbling on the ground, Danny plopped onto the dirt before looking at who had crashed into him. He saw a pegasus with a yellow mane and tail, with a gray coat. She was wearing what almost looked like a delivery uniform, but for ponies.

The mare got up before shaking her head. "Sorry about that. I was in a rush and lost control for a bit."

Danny got up and shook his head to get rid of the stars. "It's fine. Not the worst thing to happen to me." Once he got his barrings, He saw that the mare had a satchel on her side which confirmed that she was a delivery mare.

Said mare's eyes were spinning in their sockets so she bonked her head to get them to stop. "You okay? Did I hit you too hard? I'm sorry."

Danny tilted his head as he looked at her. "You don't need to apologize again. Like I said, I've had worse." It was then that he noticed her lazy eye. "But are you ok? You were the one that fell from the sky."

The Mare smiled as she gave him a salute. "Yep. not the first time I crashed into something."

Danny saw her eye still looking in another direction but he didn't want to say anything so as not to be rude. And it isn't the first time he met someone that had eyes looking in another direction. Some ghosts had more than two so he wasn't bothered by it, he just wanted to make sure she was ok.

The mare then narrowed her eye as she leaned in closer to him.

Danny leaned back as she leaned in on him and got into his personal space. "Uh…"

"Are you new here?"

Danny was startled by the sudden question and answered automatically. "Yeah. I only just came to Ponyville a couple of days ago." Not a lie. Since he did arrive a few days ago.

The Mare nodded with a smile. "Well, welcome to Ponyville. I'm Derpy Doo."

Danny smiled back and used a hoof to gesture to himself. "Well, I'm Danny Fenton, nice to meet you, Derpy." He scratched his head as he asked. "How did you know I was new here?" He knows that there might be people that could tell a tourist from a local but he didn't think he was standing out that much.

Derpy pointed at his mane, which was dropping in front of his face. "Your mane is hard to miss. Not many have black manes in Ponyville."

Danny looked around at the ponies walking around and noticed that all the ponies had bright-colored manes. 'Guess I stand out more than I thought.' Once that thought finished, he noticed that a bunch of letters were scattered on the ground around them. "Want some help with these?"

Derpy looked all around and saw the letters she was supposed to deliver on the ground. She then remembered that she was late. "Oh no! I gotta get going!" She began to pick up the letters as fast as she could. Though she would occasionally trip due to her fast movements.

Danny, seeing the panic, began to help by pushing some of the letters into a pile. Once he had a good amount, he picked them up with his hoof and brought them up to her. "Here."

Derpy grabbed them with her mouth before putting them into her satchel.

The two continued to gather the letters till all of them were gathered.

Derpy smiled as she saw that they had finished and gave a salute to Danny. "Thanks for all the help."

"No problem."

Derpy then began to fly a few feet off the ground before waving at him. "Hope to see you again." she then spun around and flew off as fast as she could to make up for lost time.

Danny watched her leave but frowned when he saw a couple of letters fall out of her satchel. "Hey, wait! You dropped… a~nd she's gone." He groaned as all the help he gave was now for nothing. Looking at the letters, he sighed before picking them up and looking them over. "Well, she did seem to be in a hurry. I guess I could deliver these for her so she doesn't have to worry about them." Reading the address for the first one, he looked around before calling out to a passing pony. "Scuse me, but can you help me out here?" Seeing he got the pony's attention he made his way to it and asked for directions.

Danny was walking towards his first stop as he was directed here as he was told the mare would most likely be here. He made it to a sign and read it out loud. "'Ponyville Schoolhouse', yep this is the place. Now I hope the mare is here." he walked towards the entrance door as he looked around. He smiled as he saw the playground and some toys scattered around. It reminded him of his time when he was young. Back when his life was far less hectic than it was when he got his powers. Though the way he was now was much less stressful. Before he walked inside, he saw movement in his periphery. He turned his head to see that there was a filly on a scooter and speeding toward a ramp. "Hmm?"

The filly had an orange-colored coat and a magenta-colored mane. She sped towards the ramp with her smaller-than-normal wings flapping to pick up speed. She vaulted off the ramp and gained a lot of air. However, at the height of her jump, she accidentally lost her grip on her scooter and was now airborne with nothing under her. "Uh-oh!" She tried flapping her wings harder in order to fly but she wasn't able to catch any wind under them. She looked to where she would crash and saw she was about to crash into the metal climbing structure. She shut her eyes to get ready for the crash.

"Woah!" Danny saw the trajectory and his hero complex got the best of him. He bolted towards the falling filly and jumped up to catch her mid-air. Once he hit the ground, he held her in his arms and rolled.

The filly peaked through one eye to see what happened. She saw that she was surrounded by a light orange before she looked up to see the face of an unfamiliar pony.

Danny looked down at the filly in her arms and asked. "You ok?"

The filly nodded before she hopped out of his hooves. She shook herself once she hit the ground before she smiled at him. "Thanks for the save."

Danny nodded as he looked her over to make sure she was ok. He noticed her small wings and the lack of mark on her flank. He opened his mouth to ask about them but was interrupted by the filly.

"By the way, who are you, mister?"

Danny deadpanned at being called "mister". "The names Danny."

The filly smiled as she answered. "Weird name."

Danny groaned as he asked. "And what are you called?"

"I'm Scootaloo." She stood proudly at the introduction.

Danny smirked at the bravado the young filly had as it reminded him of someone. Pushing that thought to the side, he decided to ask Scootaloo. "Well, Scoots, maybe you can tell me if Miss Cheerilee is here. I got a letter I have to deliver to her."

Scootaloo pouted at the nickname but seeing that he didn't mean anything and he seemed kinda cool, she let it go. She then nodded. "Yeah, she's inside. Come on!" she began to run towards the entrance with Danny following suit.

The two made it inside with Scootaloo bringing him into the classroom. "Hey, Miss Cheerilee, you got a visitor."

Miss Cheerilee looked up from the papers she was looking over to see Scootaloo waving at her with a newcomer. "Well, this is unexpected. I thought you would have gone home already, Scootaloo. And who might you be?"

Danny walked forward as he pointed at Scootaloo. "Saw her trying to make a jump that was much harder than she thought. Caught her before she crashed, but don't worry, she's ok. My name is Danny, by the way.."

Cheerilee smiled as she gave a thankful nod. "Well, thank you for helping out one of my little ponies. Now, what can I help you with?"

Danny reached into his mane and stuck out his tongue as he searched for what he was looking for. Once he felt he had it, he pulled out the small stack of letters and went through them till he found the one addressed to her. "I actually have a letter meant for you."

She took the letter from him and placed it on her desk before asking. "Are you a new employee to the delivery service?"

Danny shook his head. "Nah, I ran into the one that had the letters but she accidentally left these behind so I decided that since I wasn't doing anything, I could deliver them."

Cheerilee smiled fondly at who she knew to be the one that left them behind. "I'm sure Derpy will be thankful to you for helping her."

Danny shrugged. "She was in a panic at it and I don't mind." He looked around the classroom in interest before his eye saw caught sight of a star chart. His inner astronomer got the better of him and he walked closer to it and looked it over.

Cheerilee and Scoots watched him move to the chart before the younger of the two asked. "Whatcha looking at?"

Danny looked over his shoulder with a smile. "Sorry, I just saw this and wanted to get a closer look."

Cheerilee smiled as she walked closer. "Do you have an interest in the stars?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah, I've always loved looking at the stars and did all I could to learn about them." He looked back to the chart and frowned as he noticed that he couldn't recognize some of the constellations. Sure there were some slight differences from his own dimension but when he was stargazing with Luna, he found that there were a few that were unique to this universe but there were some similarities. "But it looks like I'm going to have to do some more studying cause I don't recognize a lot of the constellations on the chart. I can see Ophiuchus, Scutum, Scorpius, and Sagittarius. But the rest, I don't know"

Miss Cheerilee smiled wider as she spoke up. "Well, I have a few books about them if you wish to know more. If you ever want to borrow them, let me know."

Danny smiled back at her. "Thanks." He then looked at the other letters he had. "Well, I better get going 'cause I still have a few more of these to deliver and I gotta find out where to go."

Cheeriliee nodded before she asked. "Well, who else do you need to meet? I'm sure I can give you directions." She then looked to Scootaloo. "And you should get home soon."

Scootaloo nodded before giving a salute. "Alright." she then trotted towards the door. "Later, Miss Cheerilee! Later, Danny!" She ran towards where her scooter was before using it to leave.

Cheerilee smiled at seeing Scootaloo leaving before she turned back to Danny. "Now, how about I help you with your task."

Danny was looking at the buildings he was walking past as he mumbled to himself. "...turn the corner and you can't miss it… wow, you really can't miss it."

Danny now stood in front of a tall purple-colored building that seemed to be designed with the word "fancy" in mind. "Almost looks like one of the fancy cakes that I saw on one of the TV shows back home." he walked up to the door and knocked. He had to wait for a minute till someone opened the door. He was about to say what he was here or but he didn't see anyone.

"Hi."

Danny had to look down to see the owner of the voice. He saw a young pony, what he had to take a second to remember was called a filly, looking up at him.

The young filly had a stark white coat with her mane being purple and pink and curled. One thing that came to his mind was. 'Do all fillies do that on purpose or are their eyes naturally that big?' He couldn't help thinking that she and Scootaloo had the same kind of eyes as another youngster he knew that would do a pleading look like this in order to get something. Putting that thought aside, he spoke. "Sorry to bother you, but I have a letter for…" he reached into his mane and pulled out the letter he came to deliver. "...Rarity Gem?"

The young filly smiled before speaking. "That's my sister. She's inside, come on." She led the stallion inside and towards the main area. "I haven't seen you around. I'm Sweetie Belle."

Danny smiled at how cute the sweet way the filly spoke and introduced himself. "I'm Danny Fenton."

Sweetie Belle gained a look of interest. "Never heard a name like that before."

Danny gave a dry laugh. "Yeah, I wouldn't think so. I'm pretty sure I have the oddest name around." He figured that he will get that a lot so what would be the point of getting mad or frustrated?

Sweetie Belle shook her head as she answered. "You never know."

"That's true."

The two walked into a large room with what Danny saw to be a bunch of pony mannequins.

He noticed that some of them were broken with tattered dresses on them. He wondered what could have caused that but he was brought out of his musing when he heard Sweetie Belle speak up.

"Rarity, you have a visitor!"

From behind a mannequin came another mare, this one older than the filly, with a coat that seemed whiter than Sweetie's and a mane of solid purple that was stylishly curled.

"Really, Dear, I wasn't expecting anypooooooo~..."

Danny tilted his head as it seemed that Rarity froze in shock at something. He lowered his head to whisper at Sweetie Bell while not taking his eyes off Rarity. "Is she alright?"

The young filly gave her sister a confused look. "I think so. I've only ever seen her act like this when…."

"Gorgeous."

Danny and Sweetie looked up at Rarity at the whispered word with the younger of the two asking. "What was that?"

Suddenly Rarity was in front of Danny as she looked him over. "You're gorgeous!"

Danny yelped at the sudden appearance and he scrambled back till he fell on his flank.

"I've never seen a coat like yours before! Is it your natural color or was there something that you did to give it this tone?"

Danny was turning his head to follow the white mare as she circled around him looking at him with a look of intrigue. His head was suddenly pulled down by her as she continued her rapid-fire questions.

"And your mane. I've nerve seen such pitch black coloration before. Even though the style is messy, it is as if it is a styled mess. Did you dye it to be this color or is it natural?" She ran her hoof through his mane to see if the roots of the hair were a different color. Once she was finished with that, she looked back to his face. "And your eyes….." Her words died off as she stared into his eyes. "...like pure ice shaped like jewels…" After a few seconds of staring, she shook her head to get out of her daze.

Danny was relieved to feel his head be released from her grasp. He was blushing at the closeness of her but he didn't have long to stay like that since he yelped when he felt her grab something from behind. "Woah!"

"It is natural."

Danny shimmied away and held his tail in his hooves. 'Note to self: tail is sensitive to pulling.' He didn't like how she tugged on his tail to look at it to make sure it was the same color as his mane.

Rarity realized her blunder and cleared her throat as she composed herself. "I'm terribly sorry. I lost control of myself there. I am Rarity Gem, and you are?"

Danny stood back up and responded. "Danny Fenton."

"An interesting name for an interesting stallion." She continued to look him over and saw the bandage wrapping around his flank. "Oh my, what happened?"

Danny looked at his flank before giving a simple. "I just got into an accident. It doesn't hurt but I was told to keep it on for the time being." He stretched out his legs one at a time to show that he was indeed fine."

Rarity still felt bad for him to be injured. "I'm sorry to hear that." Once she saw that he was ok, she gained another idea. "Oh, and I must thank you for coming just on time."

This confused the stallion as he asked. "In time for what?"

"Well, I simply have a few outfit designs and I must have a model for them." She moved behind him and began to gently push him towards the back.

"Hey, wait, what, who, where!?" he moved with her pushing as he had no idea what was going on.

Sweetie Belle laughed as she followed them.

Danny found himself standing on a small pedestal as Rarity kept switching outfits on him.

"No, no, definitely not! Too much. Too little. Doesn't go with the mane. Could use more color. I don't know why this one doesn't work."

Danny did his best not to move as she continued to switch him out of outfits. He went from a suit, to a vest, to workout attire, to armor, and last to some sort of fancy red clothing that looked like it was meant for a royal guard. He thought the armor looked pretty good but still not his usual wardrobe. 'Least I know ponies actually wear clothes.'

Rarity circled around Danny before looking at her little sister and asked. "What do you think, Sweetie Belle?"

The little filly tapped her chin before pointing at Danny. "I like the armor and royal guard."

Rarity nodded as she also thought the look on him worked. "Yes, though I believe he would look better if he fixed up his mane a bit to go with the uniform. Maybe there is another outfit that would work on him."

Danny, fearing that he would be their dress-up doll for who knows how much longer, spoke up. "Actually, I really should get going since I have a couple more letters to deliver." He really hoped they didn't notice the squeaky panic in his voice as he didn't need any more embarrassment today.

Rarity nodded as she got the inspiration she needed for a new outfit set. "Oh, right. Forgive me, Darling. I had just never seen such a wonderful specimen as yourself."

Danny blushed before he stammered out. "Well, glad I could help you with your outfits but… gottagobye!" He then ran out of the building leaving the two sisters on their own.

They both blinked before the younger one shook her head and looked to her sister. "He was nice. By the way, what was the letter for?"

Rarity cleared her throat as she agreed with her sister. She then moved to where she put the letter and used her magic to open it. She then read the letter before gasping in delight. "Oh my! I've been tasked with decorations for the venue of Princess Celestia's reveal!"

Sweetie Belle smiled as well as she bounced on her hooves. "Ooh, ooh, can I help?!"

Rarity thought about it for a second before she shook her head. "Sorry, dear, but I think I should do this myself." seeing the sad look on Sweetie's face, she sighed in defeat. "But perhaps you can help me here and there when I need it."

Sweetie Belle cheered at this as Rarity got ready to begin her task.

Danny had to ask another pony to point him in the direction of his next stop. This one was simple since it was a store in town. "Sugar Cube Corner…. I guess horses really do like sugar cubes." Since this wasn't a personal residence, Danny figured he could just walk in. He looked around the inside and almost felt like he gained a cavity from the smell alone. His mouth watered from the smell of confectionaries but was able to hold himself. 'Least I know where to go if I want something sweet.' He looked to the counter and saw a pink pony with a frizzy mane and tail. She was humming to herself as she was putting the icing on a cake. He walked up to her with a smile. He didn't know why but just the happy attitude she had while working made him happy. "Excuse me?"

The pink mare looked up from the cake she was working on and layed eyes on the newcomer. Her eyes widened to comical proportions as she bit harder on the pastry piping bag in her mouth. She bit so hard that the bag exploded, sending icing everywhere.

Now standing in place of Danny and the pink pony was a statue of them made of white icing.

The Danny statue then opened his eyes and blinked a few times. He then licked his lips. "Mm! Vanilla."

The statue of the mare, however, stuck out her tongue and somehow cleaned her whole head free. She smacked her lips as she enjoyed the taste. "Yummy!" Her eyes then locked onto the stallion again. "Oh my Celestia!" She sped from her spot to be inches away from the newcomer, leaving the icing that once covered her to remain in place….. Which was an odd sight since it was now a pony made of icing without a head. "Hi, what's your name? Are you new around here/ of course you are, cause I know everyone in Ponyville! Which means you must be new! That means you can be a new friend! Ooh, tell me, what flavor of cake do you like? I'm asking because I need to know later on so I can get things ready. So where are you from? Ooh, did you come from a far awaylandthatnooneelsecangotosinceyouweresentherebyasuperawesomeguyinacloakwithgreenskinandanotheronethatwasmadeoutofstarsandstuffandisprettyandyoucameherebecasuetheyaskedyoutoandnowyouareheretogiveusaletter!" She took a big gasp of air when she was done.

That last part was said so fast that Danny didn't understand any of it. "Uh….what?"

The mare smiled as she playfully shrugged. "Just a hunch of mine. By the way, I'm Pinkamena Diane Pie. But call me Pinky Pie."

Danny gave a sheepish chuckle as he introduced himself. "Well, I'm Danny. I actually came here to deliver a letter to…"

"Pinky Deary, do we have a customer?"

Danny looked over Pinky's shoulder to see another pony coming in from the back.

Pinky looked back and nodded before hopping over to her. "Yep! And it's a new pony, Miss Cake!"

Miss Cake smiled at Danny before speaking. "Well, what can I get for you today?" She then noticed the cake that Pinky was working on. "Oh, and thank you for finishing this up for me, Pinky."

Danny looked to the cake that Pinky was working on and saw, that the once half-finished cake was now iced, and decorated. 'How did that even happen when the bag exploded?!' He shook his head, which got the icing off. "I'm actually here to deliver this." He reached into his mane and pulled out the letter, which was thankfully free of any icing.

Miss Cake took the letter and opened it before reading the contents. "Oh, good. I was worried they wouldn't be able to send the order for the cake's flavor in time."

Danny nodded as he would consider this visit finished. He was about to leave when Pinky popped up in front of him.

"Wait, you haven't told me your favorite flavor yet!"

Danny leaned back at the sudden appearance. "Uh…. Vanilla?"

Pinky smiled very wide before she bolted to the back of the kitchen.

Danny looked confused about that before he asked Miss Cake. "Why was she so insistent on knowing what flavor I liked?"

Miss Cake knew the reason but felt that the young stallion should be hinted in on it a bit. "Pinky loves making cakes for new ponies. I'm sure that she wants to make you a cake to welcome you."

Danny smiled at the idea of getting a cake for that but his mind went back to the fact that he needed to rest for the next few days. "Well, I would love to get one just for showing up but maybe she should hold off on giving it to me."

Pinky suddenly appeared out of his mane and looked him in the eye, upside down.

"GAH!" he stepped back till his flank hit the counter and leaned back as much as he could since she was coming out of his mane.

"But why!?" she gave a very sad, teary, frown as she felt sad hearing that she wouldn't be able to give him the cake she was planning for his surprise party.

Danny didn't know if he should feel surprised at the fact she was coming out of his mane, or sad that she looked ready to cry. Clearing his throat, he explained. "Well, I'm actually on bed rest right now, orders from Nurse Redheart, so I don't think I would be able to enjoy the cake when you make it. Maybe in a few days when I am back to a hundred percent. Then you can make it after I rested enough."

Pinky's sad frown turned into one of disappointment as what he said also meant that he wouldn't be able to enjoy the party she wanted to throw. But if all she had to do was wait a couple of days, she could do that. Just meant she had more time to prepare to make it a super duper ultra fantastical party. "Mmokay~." She then disappeared back into his mane.

Danny ran his hoof through his mane, trying to find her as he didn't understand how she got there or how she was hiding in it.

"Oh, and take a right once you open the door. Then walk straight for your next delivery."

Danny looked behind him to see Pinky in the room in the back. "How….?"

Miss Cake smiled fondly as she moved closer and patted him on the back. "That…" She looked over her shoulder to see Pinky walk up to the headless Icing statue before eating it. "...is just how Pinky is."

Danny felt his brain break trying to figure out how Pinky did what she did. In the span of a few minutes, his mind just stopped working.

Danny was walking out of town as he was directed in the very direction Pinky told him. He wasn't sure who he was meeting but he couldn't help but enjoy the serene nature around him. "I wonder if I gained a bigger appreciation towards nature when I became a pony. Man, Sam would never believe that I am more in tune with nature than she is now. Can't get any closer to it than becoming an animal… other than becoming a plant." As he continued, he saw a cottage ahead and figured this was the place. "Alright, let's see what kind of chaos I'll find here." Before he could knock on the door, his hearing picked up the sound of someone talking. But not from inside, rather it was outside, just a bit off to the right. His curiosity was a dangerous thing, his past fights could attest to that but he still couldn't help himself. He moved over to the side and looked around the corner of the cottage.

On the side of the was an open field, which made sense since the cottage was in the forest and would have open fields here and there, but the thing that got Danny's attention was that it was full of animals. Different kinds of animals that would normally never be together.

Bears, birds, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, and what he thinks was…. Chinchillas?

All of them were eating food that was given to them by a yellow pegasus with a long vividly pink mane and tail. Danny was glad he had enhanced hearing as he was sure that if he didn't, he wouldn't be able to hear the soft-spoken words coming from her.

"Now, try not to eat so fast. We don't want you to get a tummy ache." Fluttershy looked up at the large bear that nodded to her before it went back to eating at a slower pace.

Danny froze at the sight of what the pegasus just did. He couldn't help but stare dumbfounded at it as he thought to himself. 'She could give Disney princesses a run for their money!' He shook his head and figured that he could just hand her the letter and be on his way. He began to move towards her, which got an unusual reaction.

All the animals stopped eating and turned their heads in the direction Danny was coming from. All at the same time.

Danny froze as he didn't understand why he was suddenly the center of attention. He'd like to think that he had a good read on animals since he had to deal with a variety of them, but the blank stares on them all was just….. Unnerving.

Fluttershy tilted her head as she looked at all her animals and wondered why they had all stopped eating. She then followed their gazes and saw that there was an unfamiliar pony. "Eep!" She landed as she was shocked by the sudden appearance.

The sound she made, snapped Danny out of his staring and he shook his head before slowly moving towards the Pegasus. "um…..Hi?" He slowly shuffled towards her as he felt nervous. As he got closer to her, his eyes kept shifting to all the animals. Once he was only a few feet away from her, he nervously spoke. "um…I'm Danny, and your…" he stopped talking as he saw the bear shift a bit. He would have flinched but he didn't want to make any sudden moves.

Fluttershy was using her mane to cover up her face and she peeked through the strands of her hair to look up at him since she lowered her head. Not wanting to be rude, she whispered out. "...I'm….Fluttershy."

Danny was glad for his super hearing again since he was able to pick up what she said. 'Anyone else would not have heard her.' Seeing how…. Shy she was being, he put on a smile as he spoke somewhat softly. "Well, it's nice to meet you, Fluttershy. I'm actually here to deliver something to you." He reached into his mane before pulling out two letters. He looked them over before he smiled at one of them, put the other back, and held it out to her.

Fluttershy was surprised that he was acting normally around her. She expected him to react as if he was annoyed, surprised, or confused. But he wasn't. She lifted her head a bit and reached out to take the letter. Once she took it, she saw him smile, which she returned with her own small one.

Danny nodded to her as she took the letter. "Well, it was nice meeting you, Fluttershy, and I'm sorry to interrupt your feeding. I gotta get going so…" he pointed his hoof behind him, which seemed to trigger something in the animals. "WAH!"

All the animals tackled him to the side and dogpiled him.

Fluttershy lifted her head with wide eyes. "Oh, my."

"Help! Animal attack!" Danny's hoof stuck out of the pile before it was slowly pulled back in. "aaaaahhhh!"

Fluttershy flew in the air and circled the pile. "Oh…. um…please get off him. I don't think he likes it."

"AH, hey!"

Fluttershy flew to the "front" of the pile and spoke a little louder. "Please let him go."

Some of the animals heard her and moved to the side to reveal the stallion and what they were doing to him.

Danny leaned his head to the side as a tongue slid up the side. "Argh, hey, stop! I'm not a piece of candy!" He was being slobbered on by the animals as they licked him of some of the frosting he still had on him. He thought back to when he first met Cujo and some Spirit animals. Cujo was the only Ghost animal that liked him from the start, while the others were always hostile, but he could only assume it had to do with either the mutations the fruitloop did to them or how mad they were when they died. Spirit animals on the other hand seemed to adore him

Unlike Ghost animals, Spirit animals were more peaceful and were almost like guides to people. Spirit animals were not tangible like ghosts and normal people would not be able to see them, but they would be able to feel them. It was like having a pet that wants to protect you, so they would on occasion, nudge you to something that would be beneficial to you. Hence why Spirit animals are also called spirit guides.

Danny could see them because of his Halfa status. As still part of the living, spirit animals loved being around him since he could see and interact with them.

Sam also said that it might just be that animals like him.

Danny was beginning to think it was the latter.

Fluttershy landed in front of them and asked. "Can you please get off him?"

The rest of the animals looked up at her and they slowly got off of the flustered pony. The last one off him was the bear that still had its tongue on him. It slowly finished its lick and moved.

Danny slowly got up and felt more that he needed a shower after this. "Thanks for the save."

Fluttershy shrunk in on herself a bit as he spoke to her. "Um… you're welcome. I don't know what got into them."

Danny shook himself as best he could but didn't get much of the slobber off him. "It's fine. It's not like they were doing anything that hurt me." He looked at all the animals that moved back to their food, with some of them still eyeing him as if he was a chew toy or treat. He couldn't help but ask. "How are you able to get them all t behave?"

Fluttershy smiled at being able to talk about her animal friends. "I just love animals. I love being around them so I understand them."

Danny nodded. "You're an animal whisperer." he chuckled at his little joke but he saw that all it got was a confused look on her face. He cleared his throat as he awkwardly pointed towards where he came from. "Well, Fluttershy, I hope I get to meet you again but I have one last letter to deliver and really need to go find the pony."

Fluttershy nodded. "Oh, yes, and I have to feed the rest of my animal friends."

Danny could see her get out of her shell as she talked about animals. He would need to remember that if he ever met her again. "Well, I'll see you around. Bye, Fluttershy."

Fluttershy smiled as she waved at his retreating form. "Bye."

Danny looked over his shoulder and nodded to her, telling her that he heard her. Once he looked forward, he stopped as he saw a small white fluffy bunny in his way. The odd thing was that this bunny was tapping its foot and glaring at him with its paws crossed. Danny was about to say something till the bunny did an "I got my eye on you" gesture before hopping away towards Fluttershy. Danny watched the bunny with a dumbfounded look before he shook his head. "Ooookay?..." he kept walking to find the last recipient

Danny was on his way to the next person he needed to make a delivery. "Wonder if Derpy gets paid extra for all the craziness I just went through?" He shook his leg to try and get the icing or slobber, he wasn't sure which, off as he could still feel something on his fur. He would have gone intangible but his powers still felt off. From his experience, it is best not to use them if they feel wrong.

"Incoming!"

Danny, with his senses on alert, did a backflip as something crashed on the spot he was once at. "Still got it." He smirked at himself before walking up to the pony that crashed into the ground. "Hey, are you ok?"

The pony got up from the ground, head bobbing back and forth as her eyes were spinning, and shook her head to get rid of the dizziness. "Heh heh, sorry about that."

Danny smiled at her since she looked fine. "No worries, you missed me." he looked the mare over and could not help but ask. "Are you Rainbow Dash, by any chance?"

Rainbow Dash gave a proud smile as she put a hoof on her chest. "That's me. Heard about me have ya? Well, being the fastest flier in Ponyville would get others to know me."

Danny could see the cockiness in her but it wasn't done by looking down on others. Rather it seemed more like a bit of self-indulgence. But he couldn't help himself. "Oh, I'm sure that there must be somepony out there that would give you a run for your money." He gave a cheeky smirk as he was fast himself in the air. He wondered how fast he was in flight compared to her but that was something he would have to find out later. "Anyway, no, I just figured out your name based on your color, and I knew the name because I have a letter for ya." He pulled out the letter and handed it over.

Rainbow Dash frowned at the insinuation that someone in Ponyville could beat her in a race. She narrowed her eyes at him since it almost seemed that he meant himself, but he was a unicorn, they aren't known for their athletic abilities. If he was an earth pony, she might think he could keep up on hoof but even if he was, his legs look too scrawny. "And who would be able to beat me? I've raced all the fastest here and I beat them all." She took the letter from Danny and opened it. "And who are you anyway?"

Danny shrugged at her boasting. "I'm new to Ponyville. Names Danny and before you say anything, yes I know it's weird."

Rainbow Dash smirked at that before getting back to reading the letter. "Okay, just gotta make sure I clear up the sky before the celebration. By the way, why are you delivering this?" She waved the letter in the air.

"Ran into Derpy. Or rather, she ran into me. Dropped a few of these and I decided to help her."

Dash smirked at him. "That's cool of ya." It was then that she saw that several spots on his fur were matted or covered in something sticky. "Hey, since ya helped out my friend Derpy, let me help you with that."

Danny wondered what she meant but he got his answer when she flew off and brought back, of all things, a cloud over him before she bounced on it a couple of times. Danny was hit with a downpour of water till he was soaked. His mane was drenched and he was really glad that he just gave the last letter.

Rainbow Dash then began to fly around him till a rainbow tornado enveloped him. Once it was over, he felt his eyes wobbling in his head before he shook his head.

Rainbow Dash smirked at helping out the stallion and placed a hoof on her chest. "My patented 'Rainblow dry'."She proudly lifted her head before looking back at him and saw the state of his mane and burst out laughing at how chaotic it became.

Danny watched her roll on the ground before he saw the part of the mane that usually falls in front of his face and realized that it must be a mess. His mane and tail looked like he was electrocuted. "Oh ha ha, very funny." He ran his hoof through his mane to get it to go back to the way it was.

Amazingly, the bandages still on him remained.

Rainbow dash got up, still snickering. "Sorry… pfft... About that."

Danny was able to get his mane to almost get back to normal. "Nah, it's fine. A little messy hair won't bother me. It tends to be messy anyway."

Rainbow Dash watched him fix his mane before she asked. "So, what brings you to Ponyville."

Danny couldn't help but smirk. "I just dropped by for a visit. I didn't know how long I was going to stay but after an….accident, I decided to stay a bit longer."

"Well, this is a nice place to visit. And you came at a really good time. The Summer Sun Celebration is coming up and every pony is going to get ready for it."

Danny tilted his head before he asked. "'Summer Sun celebration'? Ok, I keep hearing that from other ponies but what is it?"

Rainbow Dash's jaw dropped at his question. "How can you not know about the Summer sun Celebration?! It's only one of the biggest celebrations in all of Equestria!"

Danny pursed his lips as he thought about it. 'Wonder why Celestia never mentioned it? I mean, it sounds like she would know about it since it has the word "sun" in it. Meh, I'll ask her next time I see her.' He looked back at Rainbow Dash. "well, even if I haven't heard it before, I'm here now so I can see what all the fuss is about."

Rainbow Dash crossed her hooves. "Yeah, that's true."

Danny nodded before he shook himself as best he could. He felt the remaining of his energy leaving him and figured that it was time for him to head back to the library. "Well, that was my last delivery and I'm not paid over time, so I'll see ya around Rainbow Dash. maybe I can see how fast you are as I speed in front of ya." He turned around and smirked while waving over his shoulder.

Rainbow Dash smiled as she waved back at him. "See ya, Danny. And you bet your gonna see how fast I am." She flew off into the sky but paused as she replayed his words in her head. It took a second before it clicked. "HEY, WAIT A MINUTE!" She flew back down to din him but he seemed to have disappeared. Not wanting to leave this in his court, she called out. "YOU SAYING YOU'RE FASTER THAN ME!?" she didn't receive an answer so she growled a bit as she vowed to show this new pony what she's got. "I'LL SHOW YOU!" She then sped off into the air, leaving some confused onlookers.

Danny popped his head out of an alleyway and watched her fly off. "Wow, she is fast." Taking a deep breath, he made his back towards the library.

Danny made it to the library and plopped himself on a beanbag as he threw his head back. "Don't know if my energy was coming back or the chaos that had happened throughout the day kept me from feeling tired but man am I beat." He looked up at the ceiling in thought. "Summer sun Celebration, huh? If it has anything to do with Celestia then maybe I can meet up with her and ask her if the thing worked. And where Luna is." He turned onto his stomach and let his head drop to the side of the bag. He looked up at his mane and ran his hoof through it to feel his new horn. "I don't get where this thing came from but at least it isn't getting in the way of anything. Thank Clockwork that Sam and Tucker don't see me become every little girl's fantasy. They would never let me hear the end of it." He knew that he had a horn and wings in his ghost form but he didn't put that much thought into it at the time. He looked to the side at the shelf of books and reached a hoof out towards it. He groaned as he stretched his arm out. "nnnnrrrggh harh!" He dropped his hoof and head down as he moaned out. "Wish I could use magic."

He didn't have the energy to get up and grab a book.

~Canterlot~

Celestia stood on the balcony as she used her magic to lower the sun and bring up the moon. Once the moon was up, she stared at the surface and could not help but find it odd to not see Danny's image next to Luna's. She just sat there looking at it, which was a contrast to what she normally did. She enjoyed and hated talking to them as it was to keep some semblance of their presence on Equestria and a reminder of her greatest regret.

After a few minutes of her staring, she got up and moved to her desk to write a letter. "If I know my student, she will be bringing this up in one of her future letters. Best have things ready for when she does.." once she finished her letter, she moved over to her bed to get some rest. "I almost wish not to sleep to hold off on our next meeting. But I suppose anxiety can be a good way to stay awake." She laid down and closed her eyes to get as much rest as she could. 'Good luck, Twilight, Danny.'

End of Chapter

NEW COVER ART! Like it? I hope you do. Took a bit for me to draw it

Who expected that addition to Danny? I didn't until I wrote it. :P

Now for most of the chapter, I had Danny comment on several things about the MLP universe but the reason I did that was because I wanted to add a bit of a realistic response to the MLP universe. Since Danny never knew about the ponies and the like, I figured that was how he would react. Like, if you actually became an animal, at one point, you would think to yourself "I'm naked"

Believe me, I did not do it to make fun of anything.

Now, I have to give some credit to how this chapter came to be to one of the reviewers. The reviewer brought up Derpy, and after some looking up on her, I found a couple of clips of her accidentally leaving some of her mail delivery on the ground. And when I saw this, I thought it would be a good way to get Danny to meet several key characters. This is mainly to have set up for future events.

I had trouble with this chapter since there were so many character types and going from one to another tired me out.

I think the hardest were Cheerilee, Rainbow Dash, and Derpy. Mainly because I don't know their character that much and Rainbow Dash's competitive nature is hard to put into general meet-ups.

I made up the Spirit animal thing as a way to transition to why the animals were on Danny. Apart from the cake icing

I was going to add a scene of Danny heading to the Apple farm but I chose to leave that for another time

Gotta watch the rest of the series if I want to get things right. Thankfully I have an app that allows me to download the episodes, so I'll get to it.

Doctor Greymare's other name is Doctor Horse and I was not going to do that.

Also, I'm going back to add a couple of scenes with Celestia in the first chapter. I feel there should be more to it. Same with this chapter as I'm sure I will think of stuff to add.

Flames will be ignored.
