HayamiHinata: thank you, glad you liked it

Jebest4781: glad you liked it and I hope you enjoy this chapter just as much

Green223: we'll see

TheWhiteTitan: yeah, they knew, but other things tended to take up their interest. As for the Poison joke, you gave me an idea that I think will work. I hope you look forward to it. And thank you for confirming the cider bit

Purpurawolf76: it was the best way I could have that revealed to them. I think I would like either of that dynamics between Spike and Danny but we will see how it goes. It won't be that recurring. Don't want it to go stale so quickly. Glad you liked the Derpy/Dinky moment

HalfmoonSilver80: thank you

Valle95: glad you liked it. I always saw her as a bit of a snuggler. Pinkie Pie just seemed like the type to eat in her sleep. You're welcome, glad you like it.

Guest 1: glad you like it and yeah, I am having fun writing this fic.

ArashiNokitsune: it was kind of thrown on him but yeah, he will have to get used to it.

Cg037: thank you, glad you like it

Djinn: glad you liked it

A6spike: I felt like having the mother-daughter aspect in the fic since I like those. Danny will have a hard time getting used to it. As for Danny and Spike, we will see how their relationship will go as the story continues

Adrianfilex622: I have a plan for Danny and his home world but I won't spoil it here. Celestia will act more like a normal person when she is with Danny. He will have to deal with the royal treatment he is to receive. As for the constellation, there will be a scene of that later on.

Simm36: sorry for the wait and here is the chapter that you might have been waiting for

Chanderx93: Danny is also a nice guy and I think he would be there to help her. I also didn't want to do the part where animals didn't like him because he is a spirit.

Dan the bluewolf: website error maybe

Nathair1: glad you liked the chapter and were surprised by some of the things I did. I might go that route to avoid the heartbreak but we will see.

Tiamat Dragoness: it felt like what she would do in her sleep. And thanks I am for the most part.

CaseGuide900032: still working on that part of the story but I'll get there

Pyr0squid: glad my story exceeded your expectations. We will see about the pairing

AA6: glad you like the story. As for the pairing, we will see and I hope you look forward to the interactions between Danny and the other mares

Felisfernus18: Celestia and Luna will understand but the others will find out later on in the story. They will also have to learn more about him to fully understand. I haven't seen the animation but I will when I can.

Julimart: ….?

Zzz3: He will have to learn to deal with it. Glad you like the mother-daughter scenes. I will see what I an do for Sunset shimmer

6113: there is much to talk about on both ends. I am looking forward to doing the scenes with each of the mares along with Danny.

LetsBuildaSpaceShip: the mares will get a scene or full chapter with Danny in order to build relationships, whether they will be platonic or romantic. Really glad you like it and hope you continue to read it as it goes on

Guest 2: not sure but we will see about Missus Cake

Chapter 8: Discoveries

Twilight wasn't sure what was going on. The last thing she remembered was that she went to make sure that Spike was tucked in and sleeping before going to bed herself. Then, she was having a fantastic dream about doing a scientific analysis of a magic spell.

Something that Twilight really enjoyed doing was looking at the process of how magic spells are performed. But she only does it after she learns the spell itself.

Learning how to do magic and how the magic is performed is a complex and complicated process, and difficult to do.

Magic and spells, in their purest form, come from the heart of the unicorn that executes them. They need to feel their desire, picture what they want, and let the magic take hold of those, before flowing to their horn and making their desire a reality. This is why a unicorn's magic is directly tied to their cutie mark as their deepest desire is reflected in the image that shows on their flank. There are spells that all unicorns can do, such as telekinesis but most unicorns don't expand their repertoire beyond their special talent.

Some observations have noticed that when telekinesis is used on an item related to the pony's talent, it would be easier, faster, and more susceptible to their will. So with a unicorn whose cutey mark is related to reading, the pony would be able to pick up many items that are meant for reading easily and be able to turn the page as if it was less than an afterthought.

Yet if another pony with a talent that is meant for construction were to do the same thing, fewer reading materials would be able to be retrieved and the pony would have to give a little more effort in turning the page.

Twilight, being the kind of mare that she is, enjoys learning about this sort of thing and putting scientific thought into the process, such as if the mass of the object has any significant effect on the pony's magic and if the amount of magic is affected.

Magic "reserves" or "pools" as some ponies like to call it, can be increased through study, practice, and natural usage.

Studying helps the pony learn how to effectively use magic so they don't put too much magic into a spell, wasting it.

Practice does the very same thing but using magic helps hone their skills and increases the amount of magic they can use in general.

General usage of magic is the same as practicing on a much smaller scale. Using it for everyday simple things without pushing your pools to increase further.

Twilight enjoys coming up with scientific formulas for magic as she enjoys expanding her knowledge in all things.

So how is it that she found herself dreaming about what she loved to do, to waking up next to his majesty?!

She was hyperventilating with a hoof on her chest trying to calm her heart down. Her mind tried to think of why Danny was in her bed and so far, her brain wasn't working. 'Did he come into my bed for a reason?! What could he have been trying to do?' She had read some stories about such things but she never went too deep into it since the very idea was disgusting. 'No, he wouldn't do something like that. He…. doesn't seem like that!' Her eyes wandered to the other side of the bed to see Danny pressing himself on the wall in just as much a state of panic.

Danny's mind was scrambled as this was the kind of situation that he would never have thought he would have to deal with. 'Wha whoba whata watta wooba bubba….' Actually, his mind had shut down and is in the middle of rebooting. This was the first time he had woken up next to a member of the opposite sex, pony or not, and this is an experience he only ever thought would happen to adults who had a few too many drinks.

"Twilight, what's wrong?!"

The call caused the two ponies to jolt in shock before they looked at who called for the female.

Twilight saw a worried-looking Spike at the edge of the steps.

Danny was brought back to reality and shook his head at the call. "Spike?"

"Danny?"

"Spike!"

"Twilight!"

"Twilight?"

"Your majesty?!"

Danny shook his head after Twilight called him that and finally got to his hooves. "Ok, can someone tell me what is going on?!"

Twilight followed his lead and stood up. She opened her mouth but couldn't look at him as she blushed. "I…..I would like to know the same thing. What are you doing here this late at night, your majesty?" She was able to look at him but her cheeks were dusting a small shade of pink.

Danny had his own blush visible to the others as he cleared his throat. "I…I came here to get some sleep. I wanted to use the bed since I haven't been able to use it before." his blush grew more as he looked at the ground. "I just wasn't expecting anypony else to be in it." He was too embarrassed to correct her for calling him that.

Twilight tried to push her embarrassment down as she tried to get into a more academic mindset. "But… but why are you here? Why didn't you go home?"

Danny raised an eyebrow at that. "This is my home, for now at least."

Twilight tilted her head as she asked. "What do you mean? How can this be your home when we were given the library to reside in?

Danny gave her a dumbfounded look. "huh?"

Spike was the one to answer him as he yawned. "We got this place since Twilight really likes books and no one lives here." He rubbed his eyes in an attempt to stay awake.

Danny raised an eyebrow at that as he was living here. "But Mayor Mare told me that I could rest here during my stay." When he finished saying that, he remembered that at one point he said he would head out after he met with Celestia. 'But did I say that to her? I think I said that to Nurse Redheart but only once. Did she ever hear that or something or did I tell her when we met?' He couldn't remember since a lot happened since he first got here.

Twilight thought about what was going on and could only think of some sort of filing mistake or something. "So… um…. What do we do?"

Danny thought about the question but couldn't think of anything since his mind was still in shambles from his embarrassment, which still wasn't dying down. "I um…. Think we can talk about that when the sun is up-" He looked over to Spike and smiled. "-and we are all conscious."

Twilight followed his gaze to see that Spike had fallen asleep while standing. She smiled fondly before moving over to the dragon and lifted him up using her magic. She took him back downstairs and tucked him back into his basket bed. She jumped as she didn't realize that Danny had followed her down. Her jump caused Danny to do the same.

The two blushed again in embarrassment as they kept their distance from each other.

Danny cleared his throat as he pointed to the beanbag that was on the other side of the first floor. "I'm uh… gonna sleep on that."

Twilight's need to show respect to those of higher status got the better of her and shoved her embarrassment away. "No, you should be the one to take the bed since you are a prince and deserve it more than I do." She moved closer to him as she wanted to make a point.

Danny though, stepped back as he still wanted to keep a distance from her. "No, it's fine!" He cleared his throat to try not to be too loud as Spike was asleep. "You already started sleeping in the bed and I am used to the bag anyway so it's all yours… I mean the bed, not the bag! I can sleep on the bed-I mean the bag! You get the bed while I sleep on the bag." he stopped himself from going any further as he was about to start rambling. "Anyway, we can talk more about this tomorrow….or today? Is it today or tomorrow? I mean is it…. what's the date?" He shook his head before moving to the bag. "Nevermind! We can talk later!"

Twilight shook her head as she could not accept this. "But shouldn't you take the bed while I take the bean bag? You are royalty, while I am just a normal pony."

Danny jumped onto the bag and layed facing away. In a quick shaky voice, he spoke. "Too late! I'm here, goodnight!"

Twilight was a bit dumbfounded by the sudden action and figured that she should just head to bed as well. She slowly made her way back up the stairs and to the bedroom. She made it to the room and moved under the blankets. Once she layed down, her mind went back to when she woke up with Danny laying right next to him. Her face went from purple to red as her blush returned. She grabbed the pillow and buried her face in it to try and smother her blush away.

Safe to say, neither of them got a full night's sleep.

~Next morning~

Danny was still sleeping on the bag but with him now on his back and his hooves in the air. They twitched a bit as he mumbled out. "Mmmmm…. Paulina ….mmmmm…. Has gained weight since they added that special meal to the menu….. Tucker told me that… Sam…"

Spike poked his head over the pony as he overheard the sleep talk.

This is what Twilight came down to as she was going to get ready for the day. She whispered to him so as not to wake Danny up. "Spike, leave him alone. It's rude to listen in on his sleep-talking." She looked around to see if she could find where the restroom was since she didn't find it upstairs.

Spike turned around to see Twilight before asking. "Do you know who Paulina, Tucker, and Sam are?"

"Tucker and Sam are two of my friends while Paulina is someone I just know from school."

Spike jumped in shock before turning around to see Danny rolling over and getting up to his hooves. "Sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up."

Danny stood up before stretching his back legs, one at a time, and felt relief as he felt them pop. "It's fine. I'm a light sleeper and woke up when Twilight walked down the stairs." He looked toward the Mare before his mind went back to what happened yesterday. He blushed at the memory till he saw Twilight's morning look. He saw that her mane was disheveled and her fur was a bit of a mess with a few strands popping out here and there. He looked away with a blush still evident on his face.

Twilight's mind went in the same manner as her face also gained a blush, but as she turned her face away, she caught sight of her tail. She saw that her tail was a mess as she hadn't brushed it yet. Not to mention how she tossed and turned during the night, causing her to make her fur even more of a mess. With this now in her head, she looked at Danny with a different reason for her embarrassment. "Um… do you know where the washroom is? I haven't gotten ready for the day, yet."

Danny registered the question in his head and looked at her. Clearing his throat, he pointed back up the stairs. "Didn't you find it upstairs? It should be on the left when you get out of bed."

Twilight thought about when she woke up and couldn't remember seeing it. "I don't think I saw it."

Danny raised an eyebrow before making his way up the stairs. When he reached the bedroom, he looked to the right and saw why she couldn't find it.

There was a mountain of books covering the door.

Moving over to it, he used his hoof to push some of the books to the side, causing them to collapse and reveal the door.

Twilight's ears pinned back in embarrassment, again. "Oh, I made that pile when I was trying to find a book on the Elements of Harmony."

Danny chuckled before he nodded to her. "Well, it's all yours. I'm going to use the one downstairs - ahp!" He held up a hoof to stop her from saying anything. "You gotta stop seeing me as a prince or royal. I'm good being just a normal pony. I'm no better than anypony else you see." He turned around and began to make his way back downstairs, leaving Twilight to her own devices.

Twilight smiled before she looked up at her main and grumbled at the mess it was. She walked in before using her magic to pick up a brush to straighten her mane, tail, and fur out.

Danny made it to the first floor and saw Spike brushing his teeth.

Spike looked at Danny and pulled out the toothbrush before pointing it at the bathroom. "It's all yours if you want."

Danny nodded gratefully as he walked in. He looked at his reflection and shrugged as there wasn't anything wrong with his hair or tail so all he had to do was a simple clean up. He turned on the water and dunked his face in. After a second, he pulled his face out and shook off some of the water. Now more awake, his mind went to what he had to do today. He blushed again as he thought about how he was living with Twilight for the moment.

Spike heard a thump and ran over to the bathroom door to see what happened, only to see that it was Danny who dropped his head on the sink. "Uh, you ok?"

Danny nodded as he mumbled. "Just thinking of something that we are going to get fixed when we go out."

Spike raised an eyebrow before shrugging and walking into the bathroom to finish up his dental hygiene.

As it turned out, the mayor had made a mistake as she had forgotten that she had given Danny the library to live in before she received the notice about Twilight coming here and would need the library. With everything that was going on during that time and how she was swamped with work, it slipped her mind and double booked the building.

Danny, Twilight, and Spike were walking through the streets with the equine pair trying to figure out what to do now.

"I don't see what the problem is. The Library has plenty of room for all of us to live together." was Spike's confused question as he didn't understand why the mare and stallion were against it.

Twilight sighed as she tried to explain to the dragon. "Spike, we kinda barged in on Danny's home. We shouldn't have taken it from him if he was using it."

Danny shook his head as he looked at Twilight. "It wasn't your fault. With how much work the Mayor had to do for the SSC, and with how spontaneous my arrival was, it kinda makes sense that she would have made a mistake or two."

Spike looked at Danny as he asked. "'SSC'?"

Danny chuckled at the look the dragon was giving him. "Well, 'Summer Sun Celebration' is kind of long, and saying it a lot made me think of it as a sort of tongue twister." He then noticed that he was getting a bunch of looks from the other ponies and sighed as they were now different from the passing glance he got before. 'Guess I should have expected this.' Getting back on topic he spoke. "Anyway, for now, I think we will just have to deal with this. I'll take the beanbag since I am used to it." It was then that his stomach decided to let them know that he was hungry.

His stomach wasn't the only one as Twilight's stomach joined his. She blushed and let out a small chuckle. "I guess we did skip breakfast. Why don't we get something to eat?"

Danny smiled at the suggestion. "Now that sounds good." He felt Spike jump onto his back and held onto his mane.

"Great! I was wondering when we could eat something. Let's go." The little dragon pointed ahead as he was excited to get something to eat.

Danny chuckled before looking at Twilight. "Shall we?"

She nodded as they began to make their way to a restaurant.

They were now making their way back to the Library since they didn't have any other tasks to do for the day. Danny took a bite out of the Hay fries he had in his hoof. After he took a bite, he lifted the box up so that Spike could grab a few before holding it out for Twilight.

The amount of hay they put in the box was enough for three and Danny couldn't find it in himself to argue since the workers seemed so eager to give him the extra helping.

In the end, he took it with a grateful smile and was sharing it with Twilight and Spike.

Twilight used her magic to take some as she brought it to her mouth so she could eat. As she chewed, she looked at Danny as he took another bite out of his hay fries. She eyed him for a minute til she swallowed and let out a question that she had wanted to ask. "Danny, why don't you use magic to carry your fries?"

Danny munched on his food as he turned to her. He tilted his head in thought before swallowing. "Because I don't know how to use magic." He took another big bite of his Hay fries-

"WHAT?!"

Only to almost choke at Twilight's exclamation.

Spike almost fell of his back from his jolt and held onto his mane.

Danny coughed a bit before looking at her with a flat look.

Seeing what her shout caused she apologized to him. "But, how can you not know? I've seen you do some incredible magic during your battle."

Danny looked around and saw that there were still ponies eyeing him. He felt a bit self-conscious at the looks and gestured to Twilight. "I can explain that back at the library. I don't feel right speaking about something like this where others can hear me."

She nodded as they began to move faster to the library.

Danny looked at the box he was still holding only to frown at how it was now much emptier. 'Must have dropped some of it.' He looked over his shoulder to see a few ponies picking up the fries he indeed dropped before putting them in a garbage bag and throwing it into a dumpster. He waved at the ponies and called out. "Thank you!"

The two mares bowed to him with smiles on their faces before going off to do their business.

Danny gained a light blush at that. "Maybe I'll get used to it?"

The group made it back to the library with Twilight locking the door. They didn't have to worry about anyone coming in to check out a book since it was still closed to the public for a few more days.

Once they were sure no one could hear them, Danny turned to Twilight and sat down, with Spike sliding off him. "Ok, you wanted to know why I couldn't use magic, right?"

Twilight sat in front of him and nodded with Spike sitting next to her.

He took a breath as he was going to be a bit honest with Twilight. "Well, the stuff I did in my fight wasn't magic." Knowing that she was going to ask, he channeled a small amount of his ecto energy, which showed itself at the tip of his horn, something he noted was easier to channel into rather than his hooves. He looked up at the tip of his horn, making him go cross-eyed. "I actually have another energy inside me that I am better at using. I've had this energy for a while so I used it more than anything else. So any of those magic spells that I have seen you and Rarity use is something I don't know anything about."

Twilight stared in fascination at the glowing green aura that was spinning around the tip of his horn. Now that she was close to it with a clear mind, she could feel something about it that clearly told her that it wasn't magic. It felt….. Eerie.

Danny pulled his energy back before continuing. "I can use the energy better in my alicorn form. Since using this energy for years, I never had the chance to use any magic." He chuckled as he thought about the extra time out he was in. "That's not including the thousand years I was on the moon."

Twilight was interested in this energy that Danny used since it was something she had never seen before. She felt the urge to learn about it bubble up and she looked to Danny. "Is it possible for me to study this energy? I'd really like to know the differences between it and the magic that I have seen other unicorns use."

Danny narrowed his eyes at her as his ears pinned to the back of his head. "Why?" He was very wary about Twilight learning about his ecto energy. The only time he heard the word "study" when it came to his powers was when the GIW wanted to experiment on him. He would be more cautious but he knew that no one in this world knew about ghosts or had anything to do with the ghosts he was used to. And with how friendly 99.999% of the ponies here were, he knew that he didn't have to worry about them experimenting on him.

Twilight seemed to miss his tone of suspicion as her need to learn took over. "I have never heard of another kind of energy being used. Magic is the only form of internal energy that is commonly known to be used. From Earth ponies to the princesses. But you are saying that you use something else. I want to know the different components form your energy and the magic unicorns use. I have a theory that there is a difference between Unicorn magic and Princess Celestia's magic but I wasn't going to ask the princess to study her magic. That would be rude, but I wanted to know if you would let me study yours." She paused as she realized that she was asking another royal about studying his magic when she just stated how she thought asking the princess was rude. Her tone changed from academic enthusiasm to mortified panic. "Not that it isn't rude to ask you but I figured that I could since… I don't know. I thought that maybe you wouldn't think it was rude even though I said that it was rude to ask the princess. But I'm not trying to be rude to you or think you are as important as Princess Celestia-"

Danny's tension disappeared as he watched Twilight begin to ramble about being rude. He couldn't help but smile at how she was acting. 'There is no way she would do something I need to worry about. I gotta stop thinking that someone in this world would do the harsh things I know from my world.' His smile dropped when he saw that she was still beating herself up for being rude to him. 'I should calm her down. But I think I need to get her to do something for me in order to ease her worries. But what can I - wait!' He walked up to Twilight and placed a hoof on her shoulder, causing her to jolt her head up to look at him. She blushed at how she was presenting herself.

"Twilight…."

She awaited what his verdict would be for being rude to him.

"As long as you don't do something too… invasive, I don't mind you learning about my energy. Just know that I don't think you should try and replicate it since I know from personal experience that it could lead to trouble. Can you promise me that?" He had to hold back a laugh at seeing her nod, almost timidly. 'When she thinks she is getting punished by a royal, her personality can do a 180.' "Now there is something I would like you to do for me in return."

"Anything!" Her answer was instantaneous and almost scared Danny at how eager she was.

Danny removed his hoof from her shoulder and gave a reassuring smile. "If you are learning about my energy, maybe you can teach me about your energy." He saw her tilt her head with a raised eyebrow. "Can you teach me how to use magic?"

Twilight's eyes went wide when she heard the request.

"You know how to use magic and from what Celestia told me, you learned magic from her. So why not teach me what you can."

"But wouldn't learning from Celestia be better?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah, but she is all the way in Canterlot. You are right here. You are my roommate for the time being and would be easier to get to you than to bug her."

Twilight thought about it and logically, it made sense. But the idea of them being roommates calmed her earlier worries. And the idea of teaching magic to some pony elated her. "Well, if you are willing to learn from me, I don't mind teaching you what I know. And we can learn more magic later on since I am still learning."

Danny smiled since, despite what his academic records showed, he enjoyed learning. Ghost hunting just took priority in the overall scheme of things.

Spike saw that their conversation was over and raised his hand to get Danny's attention. "Hey, Danny?"

"Yeah?"

Spike got up from the ground and walked up to him. "I wanted to ask you this before but I was having too much fun in the celebration."

Danny couldn't think of what the young dragon would want to ask him and nodded for Spike to continue.

Spike was wringing his hands as he nervously spoke. "Well…uh…. Are you the…. *mumble*"

Danny raised an ear and leaned in closer. "Sorry, what'd you say?" He had actually heard what Spike had said but the little dragon literally just mumbled sounds.

Spike cleared his throat and stood more resolutely. He opened his mouth to ask: "ARE YOU THE PONY IN MY FAVORITE COMIC: A HERO'S SHADE?" Only to shout out his question as he brought out a comic from behind.

Danny's head was shaking from the shout before he used his two hooves to stop it. Once his eyes stopped bouncing around, he shook his head and looked back at Spike as he saw the comic the young dragon was holding. Registering the question, he looked at the character on the comic page and raised an eyebrow.

The pony doing a heroic pose on the comic page had some similarities to him. Mainly cause most of the pony was black with white hair. Sure there were some differences, such as the hair being shorter, the character looking bigger, and the letter on the flank was different, but clearly it was based on him. "Wow, I never thought I would end up in a comic book."

Twilight moved to stand next to him and look at the comic. She also saw the similarities and could not doubt that it was based on him.

Spike pulled the comic back and looked up at Danny with admiration. "So you are the one in this comic!"

Danny chuckled but shook his head. "Well, I was in the moon for a thousand years so I don't think it really is me, but-" He turned to look at Twilight. "Didn't you say there was a book about me? Was this what you meant?"

Twilight shook her head. "No, the one I spoke about was a literature book that talked about ancient history and folktales. But maybe somepony read that and decided to make a comic book about you since you are depicted to be a hero in the books."

Spike held the book in his arms as another question came out. "Hey, Danny, can you autograph my comic?!"

Danny was taken aback at the question. He didn't know how to answer that since he had never been seen as a celebrity. He still didn't know how to act when the ponies bowed to him. He just felt like avoiding it till they stopped.

Twilight gave Spike a small reprimanding look. "Spike, I don't think you should bother Danny with something like that."

Spike slumped at being scolded for trying to get an autograph.

Danny saw this and chose to cheer the dragon up. "Maybe I can do it later." Seeing the Dragon brighten up, he smiled. "And maybe you can show me some of them so I can see what kind of hero they made me in these comics."

Spike had a bright smile on his face as he ran off laughing and holding his comic in the air.

Twilight looked at Danny as she asked. "Are you sure?"

Danny shrugged. "There's no harm in it and besides, he's a kid. Getting excited about something like this is what all kids should do." He then gained his own excited smile. "So, about those magic lessons."

Twilight smiled back as she gestured for him to follow. "Come on, there are a few books that can help."

~ A few Days later~

*YYAAAAAAAWWWWWWWNNNN* Danny quickly shook his head in order to wake himself up as he, Twilight, and Spike were making their way toward Sweet Apple Acres.

"Now y'all better not fall asleep on me when we get ta working."

Danny shook his head in the negative before he looked to his left at AppleJack. "I won't. I'll be up and ready to go when we get there. I was just up late last night reading some of the books that Twilight gave me about magic." Danny thought about the pile of books that Twilight had taken off the shelves for him to get a basic understanding of magic. The pile was taller than him and he was amazed that there were so many books on the subject.

AppleJack raised an eyebrow before looking to her left at Twilight. "Now why is Twilight teaching ya magic? Ah thought y'all would have already known magic what with all those flashy tricks ya did before."

Twilight looked to Danny as if asking permission. Seeing him nod to her she explained. "Well, it turns out that Danny uses something other than magic. It surprised me but when he brought some of his power out, I could feel that it was different from normal unicorn magic. I asked him if I could study it and he said he would let me if I taught him some tricks to get a handle of his own."

He chuckled as he remembered one book in the pile. "Though, I think some of the books weren't meant to help me learn about magic rather them being stories that have magic. One was where a young pony had been living in a cupboard for most of his life till he got a letter telling him he was a wizard and went to a school with a very old pony that had a long beard. Nothing to do with teaching me how to use it but it was fun to read."

AppleJack pursed her lips before she shrugged. "Ah don't know nothing 'bout those fancy tricks unicorns do. Ah reckon that since Ah ain't one, Ah ain't got interest in it." She then looked at Danny. "Though, Ah wouldn't mind seeing what ya can do when ya got it learned."

Danny nodded as he wouldn't mind showing off any kind of magic he learned.

Spike, who was on Twilight's back, asked. "So what is it you needed from us this early in the morning?"

Applejack pointed a hoof at the trees they were walking past. "Ah need help bucking some apples before lunchtime. Yesterday, I bet BigMac I could get some barrels filled by lunchtime and if I win, he's gonna have to walk around town wearing one of Granny Smith's girdles."

Danny thought about BigMac wearing a girdle and laughed at the image. "Oh, I would love to see that. Hopefully, I can see that when I get back. When we finish up, I plan on heading out to meet with somepony"

AppleJack raised an eyebrow as she asked. "Now who ya gotta meet?"

Danny gave a cheeky smirk at her. "Just someone that I was supposed to meet earlier but didn't get the chance to since I was busy reading books."

Applejack gave a noncommittal hum before she looked ahead to see that they had arrived. "Alrighty, we better set y'all up with apple saddles so we can get started."

The equines got set up with AppleJack helping Danny get his on before they headed into the Apple orchid.

Danny looked up at the apple hanging above them. "Ok, how do we get them down? Do we jump up and grab one at a time?"

AppleJack chuckled at that as she could imagine Danny doing said suggestion. "Naw, that would take too long. Ah'll show ya." She picked a tree some meters away and got ready for a charge. "Yee-haw." Galloping at the tree, she tensed her legs before spinning on her front hooves and bucked the tree with her back hind legs. The tree shook before apples began to rain down with AppleJack jumping back and forth, catching the apples in her saddle bags. Once done, she looked to the others and crossed her front hooves in pride.

"*whistle* That was cool." Danny was impressed at how she was able to get the apples from the tree. It was much faster than his idea.

Twilight nodded in agreement. "Well, now that we know how to do it, we should get started." Feeling Spike jump off her back, she began to mimic AppleJack's action. She charged at a tree and bucked the tree. She looked up at the apples, expecting them to fall but she only saw them wobble. She frowned at the sight before looking at another tree and repeating the action. She got the same result which frustrated her

AppleJack walked up to Twilight and spoke. "Ya'll need to put more strength in your bucking if ya want to get them apples down."

Twilight sighed as she told AppleJack. "But I put all my strength into it." She looked up at the apples and tried to think of another way for her to get them down. It was then she thought of something. Sticking her tongue out in concentration, she used telekinesis to pick a few apples from the tree and put them in her saddle. She nodded in satisfaction as she had a way to help out.

Applejack nodded. "Well, that'll get things moving." She turned to see how Danny was doing, only to laugh at the sight,

Danny charged at the tree as the other two did, but on the turn, his front hooves tangled up and he tripped into a heap. "Ow." Hearing the laughter, he looked up to see Applejack walking up to him. She helped him up before pointing to his hooves.

"Ya'll need to slide the hooves as ya turn to get the angle right."

Danny rubbed his hooves in the dirt and decided to try again. Choosing another tree, he charged, but he slipped and fell back to the ground. Glaring at the tree, he huffed at his hair before getting back up. "Okay, trying that will take me too long and I know I'll just make a mess if I keep trying." He put a hoof to his chin and thought about something else he could do. It was as he was tapping his chin, he looked at his hoof and thought. 'I could just punch it and catch them as they fall.' Shrugging, he figured it wouldn't hurt. Moving to the tree again, he looked it up and down before he lifted himself onto his hind legs and pulled his hoof back.

"Try not to destroy mah family's trees again!"

The shout startled him and he threw his hoof to the side, causing him to spin and fall back to the ground. He looked up flatly at Appljack. "I told you that was an accident." Came his whiny complaint before he got up and brushed himself off.

"Maybe, but Ah know ya can still throw a mean hoof."

He grumbled before looking back at the tree and did the same as before. He pulled his hoof back and prepped to throw it. He could feel Applejack staring at his back, most likely making sure he didn't destroy the tree. Once he was ready, he threw his hoof which impacted the tree,

Applejack looked up at the tree but raised an eyebrow as she didn't even see them shake. She looked back at Danny and was about to say something till…

Danny didn't move from his pose. After a few seconds, his hoof began to vibrate before the vibrating moved up his arm, to his shoulder, and then his whole body. Once his body vibrated for a few seconds, he pulled his hoof back and held it against his chest. "Eeyow!" He moved back from the tree and couldn't help but ask. "What the he-Hay is this tree made of?" He looked at his hoof before shaking it.

Applejack felt prideful at how strong her trees were. "Them trees are strong and takes a lot to buck 'em."

Danny glared at the Apple mare before he glared back at the tree. "No way in hay am I gonna be beaten by a tree!" He then looked back at Applejack. "No offense."

"As long as ya don't tear it up, Ah'm good."

Danny tensed his muscles as he readied himself to try again. He took a deep breath and channeled some energy into his hoof. He stood up once more and pulled his hoof back. *BAM*. Danny looked up and saw that the apples began to shake violently before they began to fall. Instinctively, he jumped away from the trunk and began to move around, catching as many as he could. Once the apples stopped, he saw that he missed a few but was glad he was able to catch most of them.

Applejack smiled at how he was able to get the apples and not destroy her tree. "Now we got a lot of work to do so we better get back to it." She turned to buck her own tree before looking over her shoulder. "And thanks for helping out with mah farm."

Danny nodded. "Well I still owe you for what I did and I plan on repaying it."

With that, they all began to work on collecting the apples.

As they continued to work on collecting apples, Danny began to change the way he hit the tree. At first, he would just punch them before jumping around and collecting them as they fell but soon, he switched it to more flowing kicks and punches. Almost as if he was fighting multiple enemies. Once his attacks made an impact, he would flip or kick off the trunk and begin to slide around as he caught the apples.

The others were in awe at how he was collecting apples, even Applebloom who only watched for a minute before she had to run off to school, and after he got his rhythm, he was getting more apples than even Applejack.

Something the mare would not take lying down.

"Whooey, Ah can rightly say that we got done faster than Ah ever thought possible." Applejack wiped her brow as she had worked up a sweat. The self-imposed competition is what caused her to pick up the pace but it later became just a friendly one as Twilight, Danny, and herself tried to get the most apples.

Twilight came in last but she had fun with her friends and was happy to help them out.

Danny came in second as he felt the strain on his muscles. Despite him using some of his power, he didn't use it to the point he didn't work out in the process. He even had to take a break for a bit.

Applejack smiled at the victory but she wasn't going to rub it in.

The group was making their way back to the barn as they had gone a good distance in their apple-bucking. The barrels they had brought with them were already filled early on and this last trip was for a last bit so they only had the saddles with them.

Danny stretched out his leg as he walked. "Well, I gotta say that this was a good workout. Haven't had to do this much in a long time, especially in this form."

Twilight looked behind her at Danny. "Are you saying that you are physically stronger in your other form?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah. In my alicorn form, the energy I use naturally flows through my body, making me stronger and have more stamina."

Twilight looked up in thought at this new piece of information. "So your body is augmented automatically when you transform. Are you able to focus it?"

Danny nodded. "Yeah, but we can talk about it later."

Spike nodded. "Yeah, I agree. I'm tired."

Danny raised an eyebrow at the dragon. "Why are you tired? I saw you lay on Twilight's back the whole time."

Spike nodded. "Yeah, we skipped my snack time and I am gonna get hungry soon."

Danny chuckled at that. "Well, you can get lunch after we drop off these apples."

The group made it to the barn, stored away the apples, and took off the saddles.

Danny shook himself as it felt relieving to have the saddle off. Sure it didn't bother him but having it taken off felt so freeing. "Ok, since we finished up, I should head off so I can meet up with her."

Twilight raised an eyebrow at that. "You still haven't told us who you are meeting."

Danny waved his hoof before taking a few steps back. "It's not important but the faster I get there, the faster I can come back." He took a step back and began to transform.

The mares and dragon had to cover their eyes from the bright light for a second til they watched Danny transform.

They watched as his fur changed from tan to pitch black, his cutie mark changed from the black silhouette to the flaming "D", and his mane and tail changed from pitch black to snow white with a blue sheen and his mane growing in length.

They had seen it before when he first fought Nightmare Moon but seeing it up close without panic or worry was something else.

Danny opened his eyes and shook himself again as his mane grew once more. However, that was the only thing that got bigger. He floated off the ground without releasing his wings. He looked at them and had another thought. 'Gonna have to ask somepony else to teach me how to use them.' With that thought finished, he looked back to the mares. "Anyway, I'll catch up with you later." He waved his hoof at them as he gained altitude.

Applejack called up to him as he left. "Thank ya kindly for the help and I hope ta have your help again!"

Danny nodded as he still needed to repay the mare. "I'll see you and Spike later, Twilight." Once he gave his goodbyes, he flew off.

Once gone, Twilight looked to Applejack and was about to say something when… *grumble*. Her stomach spoke for her. "Heh heh, good thing it's lunchtime."

Applejack smiled as she tipped her hat. "Well, with all the help ya gave me we finished faster than Ah thought so why not join us for lunch here?"

Twilight remembered that last time she had lunch at the Apple's. She may be hungry but not that hungry. "May~be we should head into Ponyville to get something to eat."

Applejack smiled knowingly at Twilight. "Ah reckon an Apple family meal might be a touch too much for ya. Let me finish up here and we can head out."

Spike on the other hand was looking through some of the apples they had gathered. "Nope…. No….worm….."

It didn't take long for Danny to arrive at Canterlot. He wasn't going full speed but he was going fast enough that it only took him a few minutes. Hearing some calls below him, he looked down to see many of the ponies waving and calling out to him. He sheepishly smiled as he waved back. Shaking off his embarrassment, he flew toward the castle and landed at the front gates.

The guards were startled at his landing but when they realized who it was, they bowed in greeting.

The guard on the left spoke up after he finished showing respect. "We did not hear of your arrival, your majesty. Had we known, we would have prepared for it."

Danny shook his head. "I didn't call ahead of time. I'm dropping in because Celestia and I have some things we need to talk about. Not to mention that I wanted to check up on Luna after the whole issue from the celebration."

The guards felt it odd to hear their princess's name without the title ahead of it, but with what they knew about the prince here, they knew each other long before they were alive, so familiarity should be obvious.

The other guard spoke up from here. "Well, Her Highness should be in the audience chamber at the moment. I do not know if she is available at the time but you can ask the guards there."

Danny smiled in gratitude before he gave them both a nod of appreciation and walked into the castle. As he walked through the halls, he looked around and could tell that Celestia used decorative aspects similar to the one she used to live in a thousand years ago. Shrugging that random thought away, he focused on finding the audience chamber. "Ok, if I was a large room to talk to others, where would I be?"

"Down the hall and to the left at the T-section"

Danny yelped at the sudden voice and looked to the right at one of the guards. He blushed at how he was so engrossed in finding the room, he forgot that he could ask the guards for directions. "Thank you." Seeing the Pegasus nod, he made his way down the hall and to the T-section. Looking to the left he saw the big intricate decorated door and smiled. "Well, here we go." He made it to the door and looked at the guards as if asking for permission.

One of the guards looked at the door and spoke to the other. "With her current guests, I believe that it should be alright to allow him entry, right?"

The second guard nodded. "I believe so."

The two unicorns used their magic to open the doors and allow Danny entry.

As Danny walked in, he heard the conversation Celestia was having with some other ponies.

"All I'm saying is that it would be beneficial for you to attend."

"I fail to see how it would benefit anypony. With the fear the others most likely still have about what happened, seeing me might cause a ruckus."

"I have to agree with Celestia on this. Despite the chaos of the Celebration, the ponies will have a hard time making the connection between you at Nightmare Moon."

"Tis because of the possibility that my presence might ruin such an event."

Danny recognized Celestia and Luna's voice but the third was unknown to him. Walking down the red carpet, he saw the form of Celestia and Luna but the third was new. He could only see Luna and the new pony's backs since they were facing away from him but he saw Celestia notice him and smiled.

"Danny, this is unexpected but I am happy to see you."

The other ponies turned around and gave nods of greeting.

Danny noticed that Luna had regained her full height but her mane was almost like a combination of her young filly form and her adult form. He figured that it meant that hadn't regained her full power just yet but was almost there.

The new pony though, caught his attention as he noticed she also had a pair of wings and a horn. Her fur was a vibrant pink and she had a darker tint of eyeshadow. Her eye color was a deep violet. Her mane and tail were multi-colored, much like Celestia's, but with the colors being yellow, purple, and hot pink. Yet, unlike Celestia's or Luna's, this one's mane and tail did not constantly sway, instead, they were curled at the ends. The tips of her wings also had a soft shading of purple gradient. The last thing of note was that her cutie mark was the image of a heart-shaped crystal. For accessories, she wore a chest piece much like Celestia and Luna but it was a simple gold piece that seemed like it had half of a heart swirl on the front, and on her hooves were gold shoes much like Celestia's.

Once Danny was closer he spoke. "Sorry, but I felt like I should drop in since you wanted to talk to me about something. I would have come sooner but a few things kept grabbing my attention."

Celestia nodded. "It's alright. I am actually glad you came now of all times since I have the rest of the day free." She walked forward till she stood in between the two other female alicorns. "But first, I would like to introduce you to my niece; Princess Mi Amore Cadenza." She made a grand gesture to the pink Alicorn. "Though many know her as Princess Cadence."

Danny thought about the best way to greet her and decided that being a bit cordial would be the best way. He lowered himself into a bow as he had seen the other ponies do to him and poke. "Nice to meet you, Princess Cadence."

Said Princess smiled as she crossed her right hoof over her left leg and bowed in return. "It is a pleasure to meet you as well." After a second, she stood back up and eyed him. She walked around him looking over his form. "I must say that Celestia was accurate in the description of your appearance. And she has told me a lot about you over the years."

Danny watched her as she circled him till he looked at Celestia. "You told her about me?"

Celestia nodded. "I told her about the both of you." She looked to Luna before returning her gaze to Danny. "Over the years, she and I would converse about my past and you two would come up on occasion."

"Oh really?" He raised an eyebrow at her before looking at Cadence. "Whatever you heard is all lies."

This caused them all to chuckle before Luna looked at her sister.

"Sister, what was it that you needed to speak to Danny about? And should we really be here when you discuss it?"

Celestia nodded. "There's no problem if you are here. Really, it is just me returning something that he had left behind all those years ago. I also would like to know about Danny's abilities but returning this takes priority."

Danny tilted his head in confusion as he was pretty sure he had nothing to leave behind a thousand years ago. And even if he did, there was no way it would have lasted that long. He watched as Celestia's horn lit up and in a flash, a bag appeared floating next to her head. His eyes widened as he recognized it. "Hey, how did you get that?"

Celestia moved the bag to be in front of Danny. "After that fateful day, one of my ponies found it on the outskirts of Old Canterlot and brought it to me. When I saw your name was etched into it, I knew that it had to be yours and decided to keep it safe until your return. I kept it within a magic bubble that preserved it so that it wouldn't age over the years."

Danny brought up his front hooves and grabbed the bag before sitting on the floor and looking it over. 'What the hell is this doing here? I didn't bring it with me, hell, I didn't bring anything with me when I came to this world.' He turned it around and saw that the latch was unhooked. He looked at Celestia and asked. "Did you look inside it or something?"

Celestia's eyes widened as she shook her head. "No. in fact, nopony could open it. I originally planned on having the items inside stored away but when I attempted to open it, I found that none of my magic could remove the latch. I assumed it was a powerful spell that kept anypony but you from opening it."

Danny hummed as he looked back at the bag. "Weird, since I wasn't a unicorn when I got here, and even if I was I don't know any magic or spells. So I couldn't have done it and I didn't know anypony personally back then." He shrugged and flipped the top open, not seeing the look of shock on Cadence's face and the look of curiosity on the Celestial sisters'.

Celestia still wished to know how he had become a unicorn but becoming an alicorn and back was the more shocking part of Danny.

He looked inside and could see that there were a few items. Humming in intrigue, he reached his hooves inside and pulled the first item out.

It was a small medallion that had his DP logo on it and a ribbon tied around the hoop. On it was a note that was open for Danny to read.

"Put this on as a unicorn then transform. -CW." Danny now understood who it was that left the bag for Celestia to find. 'Cheeky stopwatch.' He then saw that there was a post-note. "PS - these are gifts to you from Infina and I. This first one will have its purpose in due time as well as the others." Danny sighed as he should have known that there was more to this than just pretty things. He put the medallion on the bag and stepped back.

The mares covered their eyes as his transformation ring appeared and he changed back into a unicorn.

With this being the first time viewing it, Cadence asked. "How is it you are able to change from an Alicorn to a Unicorn?" She noticed the changes but the main one that got her was the removal of his wings.

Danny looked at her and shrugged. "That's….. Hard to explain." He had no idea why he gained wings when he transformed but he just went with it since there were already a bunch of things he didn't get in this world. Sighing, he held up the medallion and tried to put it on.

That turned out to be a bit harder than he thought since they kept slipping down his forelegs, got caught on his horn, or fell to the floor. He tried shoving his nose through it, tossing it in the air so it could land on his neck, and even tried to phase it on. Turns out that whatever it is wouldn't let him phase it on his neck. He paused in trying to put the thing on as he heard some snickering and he turned his head to the mares to see that each of them were doing their best to hold in their laughter. He gave them a flat look at their failed attempts. "Laugh it up."

That did it as the three mares began to laugh.

Danny watched as they laughed so hard that they seemed to have tears in their eyes. He couldn't help but smile himself as he could only imagine how silly he must have appeared in his failed attempts. He lifted the medallion on one hoof this time and moved his head so his horn went through the ribbon first before he finally got it around his neck. "Finally."

Cadence got a hold of her laughter and asked. "Was there a reason you were so adamant about putting that on right now? I am assuming that there was also a reason for you to transform before putting it on."

Danny looked at the medallion dangling around his neck before looking up at her. "Yeah, truth is that I didn't leave the bag behind. Someone I know did and knowing him, there is a reason for it. He left a note on this that told me to do so. And now…." He summoned his transformation ring again and turned back into his alicorn form.

However, there was a very noticeable difference. The medallion changed shape into a chest piece much like Celestia's but his was a shining silver metal with soft blue lining and flame-like indentions leading to a green version of his logo that had a black outline.

He looked down at it in shock as he was not expecting that. "Uh…."

"That was unexpected."

Danny looked back up to see that the three princesses were looking at it in interest.

Celestia moved closer and lowered her head to get a closer look. "I can only assume the medallion was reshaped into this chest piece. It must have similar properties to your transformation which turns you from a unicorn into an Alicorn. More and more of you becomes a mystery and I would very much like to know more about your background."

Danny saw that the three each had their own expressions of curiosity, Luna and Celestia more than Cadence. He sighed as he figured he would have to tell them something. "I'll tell you some stuff after I see what else is in here." He shook the bag and stuck his head inside. He was able to see that there was something else and tried to reach in, only to find that the bag was deeper than he thought.

The mares watched as he stuck his head inside the bag before he shoved his front hooves inside with his hind legs kicking the air. This was yet another sight that made them giggle at how silly he looked. However, they grew concerned when he froze his action. They were about to move when his moves became frantic and he pulled his head out of the bag with a look of shock on his face and his eyes opened the widest they could be.

Luna noticed that there was a note attached to the tip of his horn and would have brought it up but paused as he whispered something barely audible.

Danny couldn't believe what was in the bag and couldn't understand why Clockwork would put that inside the bag. He whispered. "Why….? just why would you put that in there…." He lowered his head as he just didn't get it. As he did, another note fell from the tip of his horn. Figuring that it would have some information, he pressed it on the ground and used his hoof to open it so he could read it. As he read it, he mouthed out the words with no sound. "When Celestia asks for you to tell her about your powers, tell her your whole story and your adventures. You can trust the ones closest to you in this world with who you really are. But keep a few certain parts of yourself secret till the time is right." Danny furrowed his eyebrows as he finished. 'Guess I don't have to hide anything from them. Good, I was never good at hiding things, and keeping that a secret should be fine.'

"Is there something of importance on that note?" was Cadence's question as she noticed he had a look of focus as he read.

Danny looked up and saw they were all expecting something from him. Standing up straight, he cleared his throat. "Sorry, my friend just had something very important written on it and I was thinking about what it means." he picked up the note and put it into the bag.

Celestia chose to jump on what he had just said. "Speaking of friends, Danny, I would like to ask about your abilities and how you are able to change." She looked at the other two female alicorns by her side and gestured at them with her wing. "The three of us are unable to change ourselves to unicorn or pegasus. We do not have that ability, yet you do. I wish to know if you are willing to inform us more about yourself since I do not believe you are a mere traveler as you once told us. Especially since you had once told me that you traveled alone and never settled in one location yet this friend is clearly someone that knows much."

Danny's eyes widened a bit before smirking. "That was fast." He let out a chuckling huff before sitting down and taking a deep breath. He held it for a second before letting it out. "Ok, first things first, I guess." He looked at the three mares and began. "My real name is Danny Fenton and the truth is that I am not from this world."

The four alicorns sat in the audience chamber for hours as Danny gave his complete story. From how he got his powers to the enemies he faced, and finally how he got to Equestria.

There were a few pauses here and there but it was only done so that Celestia could lower the sun while Luna rose the moon, something Celestia helped her with so Luna wouldn't strain herself.

" …. And you know the rest. I ended up in the moon with Nightmare Moon and slept for a thousand years"

The three mares were in different levels of awe.

Luna was the first to speak. "Tis such an incredible story. To bring yourself here on such a vague warning and request."

Danny chuckled as he thought about Clockwork. "Well, Clockwork always uses vague sayings when he tells me about the tasks he gives me. But I know for a fact that he does it to get the best result or something like that."

Cadence pointed her hoof at him as she asked. "But how can you have such faith in such vague wording?"

Danny shrugged. "I just know that he is doing it for a good reason. I mean it's not like he doesn't give me a straightforward answer every now and then but with him being the Master of Time, I have no choice but to believe that he is saying what I need to hear to get the best results."

Celestia put a hoof on her chin as something in her mind was nagging at her. "'Humans' I am sure I have heard of such a race before but I cannot fully recall."

Danny was intrigued about this. "Well, humans walk on two legs, have five fingers, and no fur or scales on them. Just mostly skin and a bit of hair on their head."

It took her a second but she remembered why it sounded familiar. "It sounds like the race that belongs to the world my former pupil ran off to."

Danny's eyebrows rose a bit from shock. "You had another pupil before Twilight?"

The memory of her former pupil sobered her mood as she let out a soft sigh. "Yes, I did, but there were some problems that arose with her and we had a bit of a falling out. Perhaps later on you may sit with me and we can discuss the matter. You may be able to aid me with it better than I could do so on my own.

Luna had another concern about what Danny had told them. "You say that this Clockwork is able to manipulate time. From what I know, messing with time is extremely dangerous and should never be considered in any circumstance. Are you sure that you shouldn't be worried about him?"

Danny chuckled. "He may be able to manipulate time but he himself has a set of extremely strict rules that he follows of his own will. And he is more of a watcher of the timelines to make sure that things don't take a dark turn. He explained it better than I ever could but trust me, he isn't someone that would abuse such power." He took a breath and looked at the others. "I'm actually surprised that you are taking the truth about me not originally being a pony so well. I know that if it was the other way around I would have had trouble accepting it."

Celestia shook her head. "You have given me no reason to ever doubt you. And I already knew that there were other worlds beyond this one. Not to mention that it explains some of your behavior when we first met. Back then, it seemed like you were still trying to get a handle on walking."

Cadence chuckled at the sight of Danny blushing in embarrassment before she smiled at him. "I may not have known you for long but I can tell that you are not somepony that would lie about something like that. Especially with how much Celestia has told me about you. However, it does concern me about how this other power of yours is, as what you describe it as, the energy of the dead. When I hear of such a power, I feel….. Concerned."

That kind of reaction was closer to what Danny was expecting. "Well…. I don't know what else to call it. Ecto energy is what is used to give the souls of the dead of my world form. I don't really know the full details but I can say that because of this energy, I was saved from the accident that would have killed me."

Luna smiled at that notion. "Well, I for one am thankful for it saving you. If not for that, you may not have ever come to our world and saved me from my own affliction."

Celestia nodded in agreement. "I am also thankful for that as well and I would like to hear more about your adventures. You only gave simple descriptions of them and I am sure that you have more to tell."

Danny sheepishly rubbed the back of his head. "Well, I didn't want to bore you with all the details.

The truth was that he didn't want to tell them about his embarrassing moments in his early time as a hero.

Before any of them could say anymore, a scroll appeared in a green flame right above Celestia.

Danny raised an eyebrow at the appearance. "What's that?"

Celestia brought the scroll down to be in front of her. "It's a message from Twilight. Spike has the ability to receive and send scrolls to me so that I may communicate with my pupil. I wonder what she has to say." She opened the scroll and was surprised to see the two golden tickets she had sent for her and Spike. Reading the scroll, her eyes widened a bit.

Luna noticed the slight reaction and asked. "Sister, what is it?"

"It seems that all of Twilight's friends were fighting over who would get the extra ticket for the Grand Galloping Gala. but I don't understand why they would when I …." She paused as she realized. "Oh."

Cadence raised an eyebrow at Celestia. "What is it?"

Celestia's cheeks gained a dusting of pink. "I was so engrossed in Danny's story that I had forgotten to send the other Bearers their tickets."

Luna sighed in slight exasperation. "Sister, sending the bearers the invitations to the Gala should have been the first thing you did."

Celestia was indignant at Luna. "As I recall, I was informing you about how it would be best for you to attend the Gala as well, but you argued against it."

Luna galred at Celestia. "Do not place the blame on me for your blunder."

"It wouldn't be a blunder had you just accepted it in the first place."

"And I had told thee…"

Danny and Cadence watched the two bicker back and forth with Danny chuckling. "Reminds me of me and my sister when there was something we didn't agree on."

Cadence realized something when he said that. "Danny, are you not saddened that you left your family a thousand years ago?"

Danny pursed his lips before shaking his head. "The idea did get to me when I first realized but I know Clockwork will send me back to my time when I'm finished in this world…. Whenever that will be."

"Are you sure?"

Danny nodded. "I said that Clockwork has his own set of rules but he has bent them at times when it comes to helping out others. He did it for me once when I was at my lowest, I'm pretty sure he would do it again since this is a favor I am doing for him. Though, I'm really glad I came here. I like this world."

Cadence nodded. "And I'm sure you will benefit those you are close to."

Danny smiled at her before he figured that the sisters needed to get things moving. "Uh, Celestia, shouldn't you send those tickets before it's too late?"

Celestia paused in her bickering and blushed again. "You're right!" She summoned a piece of parchment and a quill before writing something on it and summoning tickets for the bearers. She rolled up the scroll around the tickets before sending it out. "There."

Danny thought about the number of tickets she sent and asked. "Just six?"

Celestia blushed harder as she quickly summoned another scroll and ticket, wrote something short on it, and sent it out. "Now that is everyone."

Danny laughed at how flustered Celestia was from making a small mistake.

Now that things seemed to be dying down, Cadence spoke to the others. "Well, I really should get going. I spent a little more time here than I thought I would but it was very nice meeting you, Danny."

Danny nodded to the pink Princess. "Likewise, hope to see you again."

Cadence nodded. "I'm sure we will." She then looked to Celestia and Luna. "It was nice seeing you again, Aunty Celestia, and meeting you, Aunty Luna. You really should go, Luna, you might enjoy yourself." She flew up in the air and waved bye to the others before flying out the open balcony window.

Danny watched her leave before hearing Celestia speak to him.

"You should attend the Gala as well, Danny. With the bearers coming, I believe that you will be expected to go as well."

Danny turned to her with a look of shock. "Uh, I don't know if I should go…"

Celestia raised an eyebrow at him. "Are you going to give me as much trouble about it as Luna did?"

Danny rubbed the back of his neck. "I… just don't know what I would do at such a thing. It sounds fancy and I've never been to something fancy."

Celestia chuckled at that. "Don't worry, you won't have to do anything special. My ponies will just be happy to see you there."

Danny really wasn't sure if he should go but with the way Celestia put it, everyone expecting to see him and him not being there would be rude. He sighed before shrugging his shoulders. "Alright, I guess I can show up. I've faced tougher things than a fancy party."

Luna nodded. "Good. if I must attend this event against my will, then you must do so as well."

Celestia smiled at Luna teasingly. "Difference is that he accepted it much better than you did." Seeing her sister huff, she turned to Danny. "The Gala is still a ways off so there is plenty of time for you to mentally prepare and find proper formal wear."

Danny let out a sigh of relief. "Oh, good, if it was like in a week or something I don't think I would have the nerve to….wait, 'formal wear'? I have to get dressed up?"

Celestia's teasing smirk was now on him. "Indeed."

Danny slumped at that smirk. "...oh great."

End of chapter

Well, the princesses now know the truth about Danny and they haven't changed their minds on him.

There was no real reason I added Cadence to this chapter, I just did it on a whim. One of the rewrites had it be Shining Armor but it turned out to be Cadence. As of right now, they are friends, and depending on how you readers feel, she could still very well marry Shining Armor

The scene with Twilight lasted much longer than I expected but I like it.

IMPORTANT: Now in one of my other fics, I got a complaint about having A single scene be a songfic chapter. I want to ask if you guys would prefer I don't have song chapters and just recommend the song for the scene. So it could either be like what I did with Danny and Luna when he saved her or I could just add the small marker of (play: this song). I wanted to do it the way I did it with Luna and Danny cause it allows me to explain what is happening at certain parts of the song. Please tell me if I should have it one way or the other

Now, I might be skipping a few episodes since there is a lot of filler between here and the gala and Discord. I could replace some episodes with personal chapter between Danny and another of the mare but we will see. Not much else to say other than

Flames will be ignored.
