The group reached the bridge which was already repaired somehow, "They were just rebuilding it a few minutes ago." Anomaly commented, "You're in our world, people are time lords here" Mario explained, "If they're out of sight that is." Luigi added.
As they were about to cross the bridge, they heard someone from the house right next to the bridge "Th-This is the last stone! Now we show the true spirit of the Hammerhead Bros.!", after hearing this, the three entered the house, and saw that it was more of a workshop rather than an house, in the center, they spotted the source of the voice, two... Hammer-headed beans were trying to hammer a rock with their heads, "This stone is our last shot!" The one with a green beard said.
At that moment, they started hitting the rock which was placed on an anvil, only to end up braking it, "Haah... Huff... Hoorf... This... stone... just... ain't... gonna... do... it... We can't make hammers no more..." The one with a red beard said sadly.
"Muh?! What do you think you're staring at?" The one with the red beard asked, having noticed the group, "We were gonna go up the mountain, but we heard you talking about hammers." Mario explained, "You want us to make you a hammer?" The one with the red beard asked, "Hey! I know these two dudes! They're Mario and Luigi from the Mushroom Kingdom! The Jump and Hammer Kings!" The one with the green beard noted, "Yeah! You're so right, Sledge! I remember these guys! Why are a couple of celebrities like you bummin' around this place lookin' for a Hammer?" The one with the red beard asked.
Mario and Luigi explained the situation while Anomaly was just stading by looking at them, "I feel ignored..." they commented, "Actually, we can't- Wait, you said you were gonna climb the mountain?" Sledge asked, "Yeah, we're looking for someone who might be there." Luigi confirmed, "That's perfect! You see: to make hammers we need a special stone called the Hoohoo Block, and the only place we can get it is at the top of the mountain, but the one who usually gets us there is, Blablanadon, went missing, and now we can't get there, but if you're heading up there anyways, then it's a win win situation." Mallet explained.
"When you put it that way, I can't really argue, we'll be back with a Hoohoo Block as soon as we can!" Mario agreed with the two, "All right then! We'll be waiting for you two right here!" Sledge responded.
And so the group stood at the base of Hoohoo Mountain, "If only Nezumi was here, she's strong enough to carry us all AND climb the mountain." Anomaly said, she really missed her sister, "I guess we'll just have to climb this the old fashioned way." Luigi commented, and just like that the two brothers started jumping up the various ledges that were there, "I can't wait to find Nezumi..." Anomaly lamented before starting to climb too.
Along the way, Mario and Luigi used some mini tornados to help them get further, while Anomaly's white body threw the black body which then used it's gravity to attract the white body, they did this a couple of times, before reaching a ledge they couldn't spin jump from (I'll stop doing the mistery thing, because I'm pretty sure most people who are reading this played at least one of the Mario and Luigi rpg games.)
"I think we'll have to take an alternate-" Mario was saying, but Anomaly picked him up, "-Route? What are youaAAH!" Mario yelled as he was thrown on the ledge, and was quickly followed by Luigi and Anomaly's black body, which di the same it did each time, "Can we go now?" Anomaly asked, "...Yes." Mario and Luigi both replied and headed off, or at least, they tried, since there was a statue that blocked them.
They tried moving around it, but it moved to stop them and it spoke, "To go on you need to surpass a challenge, will you face it?" The statue asked, "Do we have a choice?" Mario asked, "No" The statue replied, "Then yes." Mario finished and went to the center of the area where there were four pillars and the statue instructed Mario and Luigi to get on top of one, "This challenge revolves around you two having to catch te spheres that appear between the pillars, do that and we'll move to the second challenge." the statue explained.
Once again, Anomaly seemed to be completely ignore, that they minded, Mario and Luigi had to retry that thirty times in a row, they almost fell asleep, but the two did it before she could, "Well done, now to the next challenge, the next challenge is:" The statue changed shape suddenly, "Defeating me!" the statue finished as the four pillars that were there before, sunk into the ground and a single pillar came out beside the statue, "Of course..." Anomaly joked, "It's actually more common than you think", Mario reassured them, "I know that, in fact, mom does this sometimes." Anomaly explained.
The statue started by shooting a laser at the group, but they managed to step back and avoid it, "We don't have time for this, Mario, Luigi, you two break the pillar, I have a plan" Anomaly instructed, Mario and Luigi obliged and started attacking the pillar, slowly bringing it down, while Anomaly used their gravity to make the lasers the statue was shooting curve around them, this went on for two minutes, until Mario and Luigi broke the pillar and Anomay saw it's chance.
They started by making their black body absorb the pieces of the pillar, then made it distract the statue, while the white body prepared something, which was ready after a few seconds, while the statue was distracted by the black body, the white body shot a compacted ball made of the pillar pieces and hitting the statue directly, the weight was enough to uproot it from the ground.
"Second challenge completed, you're free to move on" The statue stated as from a wall, a platform emerged and allowed them to move further up the mountain.
After about half an hour of excruciatingly irritating climbing later, the group finally reached the top of the mountain, where there was a pterodactyl for some reason, he was sitting on an huge egg that had a face on, it was also surrounded by what they understood were Hoohoo Blocks, so they went there to get one, but accidentaly kicked one and woke up the pterodactyl.
"FOOOOLS! What're you kicking that for? That's a really rare stone! It's called a Hoohoo Block! And I'll tell you, anyone who tries to kick a Hoohoo Block down the mountain is a thief in my book!" The pterodactyl said, causing the entire group to sweatdrop, "...I'm sorry, but, who are you?" Mario asked, "Me? Oh... Right! I'm called Blablanadon" Blablanadon explained and the group recognized the name instantly, "So you're the one the ones who live in the village down there say disappeared." Luigi said.
This made Blablanadon look confused, "Disappeared? You mean they're worried? But I didn't mean to make them worry! See, what happened is this: I saw Prince Peasly and followed him up here... And then I saw that this huge egg had appeared! I was shocked! I was speechless!" Blablanadon was about to say more, but Anomaly interrupted, "What are you talking about? If you followed Prince Peasly up here and you didn't find him, and you said this egg appeared only recently, it's obvious that Prince Peasly is inside the egg!" They explained.
Hearing this of course made a few gears turn in Blablanadon's head, "You know what? I think you're riyYAAAAAAAAAHHH" He screamed as the egg exploded under him sending him flying from the mountain top, and also causing a Hoohoo Block to fall from the mountain and into the Hammerhead brothers workshop, and what came out of the egg was a dragon, "What the hell is that!?" Mario asked, "A dragon, but I guess this one should be a Dragohoho" anomaly theorized before realizing "...That's Prince Peasly." they said unamused.
The Dragohoho heard Anomaly say that and it started wagging, recognizing the name, "...Why do I get the feeling you're right?" Luigi wondered outloud, "Soooo... What should we do now?" Mario asked, "I'm not sure... But maybe I have an idea, GRANDMA! COME HERE!" Anomaly yelled and indeed, Avaritia arrived, "Here I am, what- Wait, where are Zettai and Nezumi?" She said when she noticed the absence of the two, "The airship exploded and we got scattered, and I wanted t ask something else, but first: Do you know where they are?" Anomaly practically begged to know.
"They're bot in this Kingdom, Nezumi is in a forest and Zettai is in... A temple?" Avaritia explained and Anomaly pounced to hug her, "Thank God, thank GOD, THANK GOD!" Anomaly exclaimed with happiness, "What was the other thing you needed?" Avaritia asked and Anomaly snapped out of it, "Oh, right, can you turn this dragon back to normal?" Anomaly asked and Avaritia just snapped her finger making the Dragon turn back into Prince Peasly, "Well, if that is all, I'll take my leave, call again if you need help!" Avaritia exclaimed as she teleported away.
Prince Peasly laughed and brushed his blonde hair aside and laughed, "Thank you for that! I was investigating throughout this country, and that brought on the top of this mountain, where I met Cackletta and Fawful, but by the time I understood who the fiends were, they transformed into that thing and trapped me in that egg! I would like to talk more, but there's something I need to do, meanwhile, you four should go meet Queen Bean in Beanbean Castle, take this, use it as a voucher." Peasly explained and then gave a yellow rose to Luigi.
Peasly left to do whatever he needed to and then Blablanadon returned, "So that was that apparently, well, there's no more egg, I can go back to the village, grab on, I'll give you a ride." He said as the group grabbed onto him and were brought back to the village.
