After a while of walking, Mario and Luigi arrived at Chucklehuck Woods entrance, but where they expected there to be guards, there weren't, instead, the gate was torn apart, "What in the world could have done this damage?" Mario asked, "You do know that what we should be asking is 'will we live if we find out' right?" Luigi asked back, "Fair point." Mario replied.
A few steps in the woods, Mario and Luigi saw a building, which they understood was the brewery where the cola was made, but what they didn't realize is that there was someone watching them go in there, "There they are" The person thought as they were about to open they door, but stopped thinking "No, I should give them a good scare, if they meet the other two that went in there, it should be enough time to get ready." and with that, they went over the building and started preparing the prank.
In the brewery.
"This place is picturesque" Mario commented, "That it is, but expected there to be some machines to juice... Whatever this cola is made of." Luigi noted. Walking down the entrance hall, they saw a couple of statues that were modeled after the process to brew the cola, "Hey, this is how it's made! Let's see... It says that to make it, you need the main ingredient, the chuckola fruit, you place it in a barrel filled with savory syrup, tell it... Jokes? Until it releases bubbles deep in the brew? The quality of the fruit and jokes affects the breweing process." Mario read from the statue, only gaining confusion from it.
Luigi was equally confused, but just shrugged it off, "Let's just go." He said and Mario complied, they entered the next room, and saw that it was completely filled with cola barrels, "How much soda could smeone possibly need to make!?" Luigi questioned nobody, "People who like mazes I guess." Mario replied, knowing this setup all too well, after finding their way through the maze, Mario turned around and saw that Luigi wasn't there, but there was a bean guy wearing a mask, "Who the hell are you!?" Mario yelped, but the guy ran away, and Luigi came out of the maze soon after, "Quick! We need to catch him!" Mario exclaimed as he ran to the guy.
When they caught up to him, the guy didn't notice them, but they heard him say "Ohhh! Boo! Blast! Criminy! Not only was the Shadow thief Popple forced to hide here, but he was also caught in full sight!" He lamented before seeing the two brothers, "Urgh! I don't have time for this, see!? Rookie! Get them!" He exclaimed, and Bowser wearing a blue mask arrived, "Yes boss!" He said, but Mario and Luigi were more surprised by the fact that it was Bowser.
"Bowser!?" Mario and Luigi exclaimed, "Uhhh... Who?" Bowser asked, Mario and Luigi got in front of him and started talking, but Bowser ignored them, having the feeling he already saw them somewhere, "...I think I know these guys.." Bowser said to no one in particular, "Whaaaat!? Rookie! Are saying you're aquainted with these palookas?" Popple asked, "...Yes, something about them makes me... Really mad!" Bowser replied.
Hearing this made Mario and Luigi get in a battle stance, "Quit your babbling, you! You two ugly mugs want the Legendary Chuckola Reserve! I know it! But it'll be i, the Shadow thief Popple to get it first!" Popple exclaimed getting ready to fight with Bowser.
In the woods.
The person finished preparing, and the forest was more than a bloodfest, "I'll be surprised if they don't faint when they come out of there!" They said as they saw Mario and Luigi come out of the Brewery. Their mouths hung agape seeing some trees that were uprooted from the ground, covered in blood, all the enemies they would have had to face hiding from something, "I think this was caused by the same thing that broke the gate." Mario said, "Probably... I'm scared!" Luigi squeaked out.
The two started walking down the path, keeping their guard up the entire way, when they arrived in front of a tree with a face, "What are you two doing out here in the open!? Quick! on the path behind me!" the tree said, moving forward a little, letting them pass through, "Thank you!" Mario exclaimed as they hurried behind the tree.
After following the path, they arrived at a building that was inside a tree, "Wati, is this the place?" Luigi wondered outloud, "It might be." Mario replied, "Wait you two! Are you just going to leave behind little old me?" A voice asked, "Who's there!?" Mario exclaimed as he and Luigi turned around, "Me!" The voice said, but it wa coming from behind the brothers, however, when they turned around they saw no one, and then they turned around again, and there was Nezumi, with an arm made of smoke and her head cracked.
"WHAT IN EVER LOVING NAME OF GOD HAPPENED TO YOU!?" The two brothers screamed at the same time, "Don't worry! If only it was the first time it happened, I just need to wait for these cracks to heal and my arm to grow back." Nezumi explained, "That's... Fair, but what about the smoke coming out of your arm?" Luigi asked, "I'm half Silhouette, hollow creatures whose insides can be bones, machinery, or smoke." Nezumi informed them.
Mario and Luigi just looked at her perplexed, "In any case! We need to go in there and hide! Haven't you seen the mess around the woods!?" Mario asked, "That was me!" Nezumi revealed, "You're kidding! You got to be! The fallen trees too!?" Luigi question and Nezumi just nodded while laughing outloud, "...Let's just go inside, and you better stop laughing before I hammer your head in!" Mario warned her, "Okay, heh, okay... but first."
As Nezumi said that, she reached in her throat and pulled out a chainsaw sword, "There we go." She said before moving towards the building, "...We've been alone with her for just a few minutes, and I'm already losing my mind" Luigi said, "I hope that she won't do anything like this again" Mario stated looking back the the red stained forest, "Where did she even get all this blood?" Mario wondered, not really wanting to know.
The brothers followed Nezumi in the three and saw her hanging upside down on a branch that right by the entrance of a room that had a shaking barrel and an old man that was telling it jokes, "What do sodas call their dads? Pop!" The man said, and the barrel shook, "What's a hippie's favourite drink? Granola Cola!" The man said, and the barrel shook once more.
"Uhh... Excuse me?" Nezumi said, gaining the man's attention, "My name, is Bubbles" The man said as he turned to the group, "I built Chateau'de Chucklehuck, and I'm the founder of Chuckola Cola, Inc, and... I'm the ultimate comedian, with the laughing and the chortling and the har har HAR!" Bubble explained, getting Nezumi to see Starrow in this guy, while Mario asked "So you can confirm that this is the Chuckola Reserve?"
Bubbles nodded and said "Indeed... What you see before you is the most legendary of sodas... The Chuckola Reserve... And, I'm pleased to tell you that this Chuckola Reserve... Is yours to enjoy!", "Wait, that's it?" Luigi asked, "Why, yes, did you want to fight for it?" Bubble questioned, "We're thankful that you didn't, it's just that everytime we have to do something like this, we usually have to do at least three more things to prove ourselves." Mario explained, "Oh, oh, worry not, the Chuckola Reserve is just like any other soda, made for people to enjoy, here, let me fill a bottle for you." Bubble said as he pulled a bottle out of nowhere and filled it with the reserve.
"Huh, guess we can already go back to the queen." Mario said, "Farewell young ones, hope we meet again." Bubbles exclaimed as the group left. When they got out of the tree though, Nezumi grabbed the two brothers using the arm that was still made of smoke and used the other to climb on a tree, she then jumped from tree to tree until they got out of the forest, "Anomaly already did some tricks like this one, does Zettai know some too?" Luigi asked, "Yeah, but she doesn't do them often due to her power not being the most stable." Nezumi explained.
Mario and Luigi looked at eachother before the latter asked "Shakara said the same thing, but what does that mean?", "...Well, Zettai is an Eneojie, a race which has a natural power that rivals races from the godly classification, they are not able to control it when they're young, for now we're waiting for until she naturally gains more control over it before helping her practicing to control it." Nezumi explained, "Not control it, how?" Mario asked, wanting to know more, "Well, not controlling it is not really exact actually, it's just that it's so unbounded that if they don't vent it, their bodies almost seem to explode, their energy leaking out of everywhere." Nezumi answered.
Eventually, they arrived at the castle, and they gave the soda to the queen, who was still being held down by Anomaly, and after giving it, the queen spat out the belly belch worm, "There's the worm!" Lady Lima exclaimed, and right then, the queen turned back to normal, "AH Ah ah" The queen laughed, "Ohhhh! Success! A truly repugnant, yet truly tremendous success! Queen Bean has returned!" Lady Lima Exclaimed.
