After a whole explanation, Mario, Luigi, Anomaly and Nezumi went on to search for the fragments of the Bean Star, but these last two were perturbed by one thing, "I have marked the areas where the pieces fell, who will gather the pieces first? The esteemed Mario Bros.? Or me? I will bet 99,999,999,999,999 Mushroom coins that it will be me!".
The memory of Prince Peasley saying that went through their head, and while they were wondering why he decided to make it a competion, another thought was more prominent, "Have we been ignored for the umpteenth time?" Nezumi asked Anomaly who solemnly nodded, "Are you sure you're okay?" the latter asked, trying not to show too much concern, "I told you, I feel better... And don't do this while we're in public." Nezumi told her sibling.
"Hey, you two are the only ones who saw the Bean Star, what are we looking for exactly?" Mario asked the step-siblings, Anomaly was the one to reply and... "Beans.", it was as lackluster as it could be, "...Anything else?" Luigi questioned further, "It glows, we don't have anything else to add." Nezumi replied.
Following the map to the marker Peasley put there, they ended up finding a ship landlocked in a wall, and on deck was a piece of the Bean Star, "We already found one." Mario noted, about to remove the marker, but two skeletons came out of the ship, "Whoa! Is this the thing that fell from the sky an' crashed into the hatch with a big ol' thud?!" One of the skeletons said, making the quartet notice that the hatch was broken on the deck.
The skeletons didn't notice them, and the other one said "It's gotta be! And thanks to that, the hatch is busted! This is terrible!", the previous skeleton nodded and responded "But hey! Whoa! Jus' lookit this thing sparkle an' shine! I dunno what this is, but I'm puttin' it in the hold!" he then grabbed the Bean Star piece and went back in the ship with the other skeleton.
Nezumi facepalmed and sarcastically said "Of course it happened!", the four followed the skeletons and saw the one with the piece walk in aoom which was then blocked by another skeleton, "Hey! Wait" Anomaly exclaimed as they tried getting in the room, but the skeleton stopped them, "Hey! The storage area's this way! If you wanna get in, you need a Membership Card for this boat! An' if you want a Membership Card, try doin' somethin' that'll help out this boat!" He explained.
"Oh fine..." Anomaly resigned and walked away to talk with the others, "What do we do now?" Anomaly asked, they thought about it for a moment before Mario suggested "Maybe we could do just like he said." Nezumi looked at him unblinking, before walking out of the ship, "What. Wait." Luigi said, Anomaly just laughed before following her, "Leave us out of it if you plan on doing that." they told the brothers.
Nezumi was sitting on the deck and Anomaly joined her, "Just leaving without a word? That's new!" Anomaly commented, making Nezumi to look at her with a smug look, "Bet you wanted to come up with that right?" She responded, and Anomaly gave her a chop on the head just like they did before, "Don't let it go to your head, Dad is going to make you scrub your utensils with your teeth." They told her, referencing the tools she uses to squeeze blood out of meat.
Hearing this comment made Nezumi grimace a bit, so much in fact that she looked like she was going to puke, "Please no, coagulated blood tastes awful." Nezumi said and Anomaly just laughed, at least until they heard a boom coming from inside the ship and soon after got pushed into the sea by a landslide.
Bottom of the Sea.
Nezumi and Anomaly woke up in an underwater cave, looking around they saw the Bean Star piece float over a gate, this made Nezumi a little mad "Damnit..." She grumbled, but Anomaly hugged her saying "Please, don't, not again." they begged their sister with tears in their eyes, this got Nezumi to calm down, "Right, sorry, I need to find a way to control this..." Nezumi said as she went to the gate and forced it open.
They both had to use their hand skils to get past some obstacles, but right after those, they found a yellow pipe that led upwards, "I think we can use this to get back to the surface" Anomaly suggested, Nezumi took a look inside and responded "It seems like it, but it's definetly not the pipe we used last time." she added as she started climbing it along with Anomaly.
When they got to the other end, they found themselves on a beach, Nezumi was relieved that it wasn't a cold place, while Anomaly was quite confused, "Did they expect someone to get lost underwater?" They said outloud prompting Nezumi to reply "Hey, just like we have fish Shujians, they might have something similar.", this made a bit of sense to Anomaly, but there was still a question unanswered, "Your idea has lot of solid ground, why is that guy here?" Anomaly asked while pointing to a large turtle standing in the middle of a path.
The sight of the turtle confused Nezumi too, "Sea... Turtle? Maybe?" She theorized, but only got a flick on the forehead from Anomaly in return, "You always have an answer ready don't you? Anyways, I think I see the Bean Star piece over there" Anomaly said pointing to a green glow from behind a rock wall in the middle of the water, while they were thinking on how to get there, a fish girl came running from the path in front of them and started talking to her friends.
"You've GOT to hear this! I'm back with humonstrous news and incredibling rumors!", "Whoa! Is it about that strange-looking shining bean-thing that fell from the sky?", "Wait... Is that the one everyone is saying Hermie found?", "Yeah, the same! Hermie took that bean-thing and decorated his shell with it! That's the word, anyway. I hear he looks just like a festive holiday tree!", "Wow! Ker-razy! Cool!", "We really should go take a look at it!", "Yeah! That's a fantabulous idea! Let's do it!, After they finished talking, they ran off to wherever this Hermie guy was.
The two siblings just stood there before looking at eachother and shrugging, they decided to follow the fishes as they seemed to know a path, "That's almost too convinient." Anomaly commented getting an agreeing nod from Nezumi.
After just a few seconds of walking, they found a sign hanged on a rock formation with an arrow that pointed to another path, it read:Jellyfish Sister's Relaxation Room Nezumi was about to walk away, but Anomaly stopped her, "We should probably go there." They told her, and Nezumi turned to them with a questioning look, "Why? It doesn't seem important." She said, but Anomaly started dragging her, not wanting to argue about this.
Inside the cave was a pretty neat looking reception, they went to talk with the receptionist who was a jellyfish kid, "Welcome, travelers! This is the Relaxation Room, where we ease your weary body and spirit! Our massage masters use their miracle hands to give you a gentle, calming massage. 100 coins gets one individual a thorough, if brief, rubdown! For the two of you it'd only be 200 coins. What do you say?" She said and Anomaly agreed, they had stored just enough during their time in the Kingdom.
Anomaly gave her the coins and she said "Great! Merri and Gigi will be waiting for you in the next room.", the two went in the room, Anomaly dematerialized their white body to fit in his chair. When both of them sat down, two jellyfish women, one dressed in green and the other dressed in red, floated down and walked to them.
"Oh, hey there! WELCOME! How're you? Super! I'm Gigi. Now, let's get right to it! Show me where you're sore." The jellyfish dressed in red said followed by the one dressed in green, who said "Ooh! Show me too! Please! 'Cause I'm Merri, and I despise soreness! It's my sworn enemy!" The jellyfish dressed in green said.
Nezumi blushed a little at the sight of the two and Anomaly smirked looking at her, but also felt a bit upset for some reason. Gigi leaned over to Nezumi's hand and said "Oh, look at this... Your hands are so very, very tired...", Merri then said "...And you, too! This is awful! Your hands are so tired, they look ready to hibernate!".
Finally, Gigi exclaimed "Now, don't worry! Our miraculous hands will gently coax the weariness from you. Promise!" and finally started massaging Nezumi, while Merri massaged Anomaly, "I might enjoy this more than I thought I would." Nezumi thought as she relaxed.
