"Miko-chan, please?"

The girl wished she had not left the headphones back in the auditorium as Hawks pleaded over and over while she just curled herself into a ball on her seat.

"We really can't leave the No. 1 Hero without his Quirk," Hawks chanced a peek at Endeavor, who was leaning against the wall with his eyes closed. The large man was certainly not going to reduce himself to begging the small girl to undue... whatever she had done, so Hawks had to do it for him, "Not in these times. Not with those Nomu things running around."

Both Miko's and Endeavor's eyes opened at the mention of Nomu, "What's a... Nomu?" Blue eyes blinked and nothing in her hazy memory came to her as she tilted her head.

"Monsters to be blunt," Hawks' expression turned dark and Miko looked at him a little more intensively, "We need Endeavor's power. So, please, Miko-chan, can you undo what you did? We can do whatever you want after."

'Pack, pack, pack,' Miko's mind was jumbled for a moment, 'Must always help pack mates,' She stood up from the chair before even realizing it and turned to look at Endeavor, "Come here, Oni." She huffed.

"I am no Oni. Where did you come to such a foolish conclusion, child?" Endeavor moved from the wall and stood in front of Miko with his arms crossed, "Such creatures do not exist."

"Hey, Miko-chan thought I was a Tengu," Hawks grinned, trying to lighten the mood, rubbing the back of his head when Endeavor merely snorted at him, "I don't have a long nose, do I?" He mumbled to himself.

Miko unsheathed her sword, seeing both Heroes tense, "What delusions do you possess?" She murmured, bewildering both of them, "Can you move past your obstacles?" She raised her sword, "Kurikaramaru!" She struck so fast that neither had a chance to even move.

"M-Miko-chan...?"

Endeavor looked down at the sword stabbed straight through his heart in disbelief, feeling no pain even when Miko smoothly pulled it free from his body and not a single drop of blood was split.

His flames instantly blazed around his form once again.

"Don't do that to me again, Miko-chan!" Hawks was shaking Miko back and forth, "If Endeavor-san dies, that means I will be the No. 1 Hero! I definitely don't want that! Plus, I want to partner up with Endeavor-san for something!"

Endeavor did not care for Hawks' words at the moment, 'What did she mean by 'possessing delusions and moving past my obstacles'?' He thought, clenching his fist, 'I have no delusions,' His lips tightened, 'Do I?'

"Hey, Endeavor-san," Hawks caught the attention of the Flame Hero, "Wanna come to my hometown in Kyushu? There's a lot troubling eyewitness reports happening there."

"About the Nomus?" Endeavor's scowled deepened and he let out a breath, "Fine. Let's go," He glanced at Miko, who now seemed utterly disinterested in everything, 'Strange little girl.'

Who exactly was she?

"Ne, ne, Miko-chan?"

Endeavor simply stared as a streaker was easily taken down, a dog was saved from being hit by a truck, and an elderly woman's luggage was hauled up some stairs by Hawks' feathers while they casually walked down the street.

"What do you wanna eat? I know this really great place! They've got good chicken broth, yakitori, and liver skewers~" Hawks smiled down at Miko, noting that people were starting to gather around them.

"Oden," Miko put her hand over her mouth, "Oden." She repeated, yanking her red scarf over half her face and moving in between Hawks and Endeavor so she would not be noticed as much.

"Congrats on coming in second," A brunet stated with a smile, "I watched it live! That stunt with your sidekick was awesome!"

Miko immediately moved behind Endeavor so that male would not see her.

"Hey, Hawks, Hawks~!" A pretty schoolgirl ran up to Hawks, "Selfie?" She stood beside him, with her phone ready as she and Hawks posed together. However, neither she nor Hawks expected her to be pushed roughly away almost to the point where she tripped over herself, "What the–!?" She gasped in fear, seeing the darkened blue eyes glaring her way from a petite girl standing where she just was a moment ago.

"Don't touch him."
