Fun Gus And K's Origins Part 2
Cactus Town
In Cactus town, Emilia was looking at the Mega Monkey with a serious look in her eyes. "Hey!" Greta said, getting Emilia's attention. That's when Zane and Greta came flying in on a dragonfly. Once they got close, they removed their clocks.
This showed Greta's tan skin, short brown hair, and green eyes. And showed Zane having light brown skin, short black hair, and brown eyes. "We got the collar away from Scarlemagne." Greta said to Emilia. "Good." Emilia said to Greta.
That's when the Mega Monkey started to wake up. "Now get it on the monkey." Emilia said to Greta and Zane. That's when the Mega Monkey realized who was in front of her and started to growl at her.
"Quick! Get it on!" Emilia said to Greta and Zane, as she readied the Mega Monkey was awake and angry. The Mega Monkey punched Emilia away, and started to get up. The Mega Monkey then swatted the dragonfly, with Greta, Zane, and the collar, out of the air. The Mega Monkey roared, before leaving.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the Fungus Burrow, the creepy giggling was creeping everyone out. "What was that?!" Kipo asked everyone. "Nope. Don't like it." Wolf said to everyone. "Oh, man, Dave was right! This place is haunted!" Benson said to everyone. "Don't tell Dave that." Aqua said to Benson, with her still on Kalena's back, and strangling Kalena in fear with her arms. "It's probably an evil spirit that wants to kill us all. Kill us all!" Benson said to Everyone.
That's when the tan Light Crystals stuck out of the wall behind everyone in a blob shape, with a mouth. "Hi!" The blob said to everyone, scaring them and making them run. "Ah, baby ghost!" Benson said, as. "You said ghost!" the blob said, as he appeared next to everyone.
Everyone gasped, and turned to the blob, only to have the blob moved. "Rhymes with toast! And with boast!" the blob said, ashemoved around everyone and made everyone gasped. That's when the blob stopped near everyone, and everyone screamed.
"I like rhymes, and dimes, and splines." The blob said to everyone, before moving away. "I'm not a ghost. Or a toast! I'm Fun Gus!" The blob said to everyone. "Look what I made! It's a pun-terodactyl." Fun Gus said to everyone, holding up some crumbled paper. "I named him Joe!" Fun Gus said to everyone, giving them the paper.
"Oh, my goodness. How cute are you!?" Kipo asked Fun Gus, smiling at it. "Not cute, Kipo!" Wolf said to Kipo. "Right. Focus." Kipo said to everyone. "Fun Gus, where are our friends?" Kipo asked Fun Gus.
"Oh, you mean Bluey and Squiggle Baby Man?" Fun Gus asked Kipo, as he made Mandu and baby Dave surf in. "We're playing! They're my favorite new toys. Even if that big meanie tried to take them away from me!" Fun Gus said to everyone, sounding like a brat, ashemade Dave and Mandu circle it.
"What meanie?" Kipo asked Fun Gus. "That mean lady." Fun Gus said, as Lady burst out of the fungus. Lady tried to break out of the fungus and ws making progest, but the fungus was quickly sucking her back into it, and barring her. "That meanie tried to take my toys away from me." Fun Gus said to everyone.
"Toys?" Wolf said, as she got mad. But Fun Gus just giggled, as he made Mandu and Dave leave. "Listen, I know Dave and Mandu are totally fun, but they're not toys. Could you give them back? Please?" Kipo asked Fun Gus.
"No. Wait, I mean, no, thank you!" Fun Gus said to Kipo, moving to the ceiling and coming down into the middle of all of them. "Listen, you over-sized mushroom. You better give them back right now!" Wolf said to Fun Gus. "Wolf, don't." Kipo said to Wolf, as Fun Gus moved away and hid away from them.
"He's just a little kid. Wait. I have an idea." Kipo said to everyone. "Hey, do you want to read a story?" Kipo asked Fun Gus. Fun Gus gasped ashemoved closer to everyone. "A story?" Fun Gus asked Kipo. "Yeah! My friends were about to read us a great one. It's got science, equations, facts about my parents…" Kipo saud ti Fun Gus, making Fun Gus groan of boredom.
"And action and adventure and stuff that other people like, too!" Benson said to Fun Gus, trying to salvage this. This made Fun Gus gasp with excitement. "Right. So, if you bring our friends back, we could all read it together!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "OK But I wanna read it! I'm a great reader!" Fun Gus said, as he opened the book.
"X plus 3, and then two lines on top of each other." Fun Gus said, as he started to read, not knowing he was reading the math of the book. "Let's look for them." Kipo said to everyone, as they scattered looking for Mandu, Dave, and Lady. "Where's the fun part? Oh, here it is. When I told Lio about the fur, he was surprised." Fun Gus said, reading the book.
The Past
In the past, Lio was staring at Song with wide eyes and his jaw hanging open. "Did you say you grew fur?" Lio asked Song. "Yeah. it kind of just appeared on my arm and then poof! Disappeared." Song said to Lio. "OK, that's definitely not normal. How do you feel?" Lio asked Song. "Strong, furry, sad about my kimchi." Song said to Lio, making Lio scoff.
"Well, the kimchi part I can fix." Lio said to Song, walking up to Song with an open jar of kimchi. "But the strong and furry? Maybe it's a side effects of the genetic modification?" Lio asked Song. "Could be. Sometimes a fetus's stem cells pass to the mother via…" Song said to Lio. "Microchimerism! Nerd!" Song and Lio said to each other at the same time. This made them both laugh.
"At least you didn't grow a tail in the lab." Lio said to Song, making Song gasp. "The lab! If it happens in front of them…" Song said to Lio. "They'll know we isolated the mutagen." Lio said to Song. "They'll use it to turn mutes back into animals." Song said to Lio, getting mad, and breaking the counter.
"What do you wanna do?" Lio asked Song. "I'll stay home until I have the baby." Song said to Lio, putting her hands on her belly. "We'll have to give them a really good excuse though." Lio said to Song. "Complications with the pregnancy?" Song asked Lio. "Nah, they'll want you in the clinic." Lio said to Song, before exclaiming.
"I'll tell them you need to be quarantined because you have burrow pox." Lio said to Song with confidence. "There's no such thing." Song said to Lio. "I know, Dr. Oak." Lio said to Song. "So, you can make up all kinds of stuff about it, Dr. Oak. highly contagious, fever, headache…" Song said to Lio
Fungus Burrow
Back in the present, Fun Gus kept reading. "Rash under the knees…" Fun Gus said. "Burrow pox isn't real? Then what happened to my mom?! Do you think she's still alive?" Kipo asked everyone. "Mayne. Maybe "they took her. Whoever "they" are." Wolf said to Kipo.
"Do you think "they" could be Scarlemagne and his nobles? I mean, did he seem to know your dad?" Benson asked Kipo. "Benson's onto something. Your dad called him "Hugo"." Wolf said to Kipo.
Then Fun Gus stuck his head out to them. "Hi!" Fun Gus said to everyone, making Benson fall to the floor. "What ya guys looking for? Were you listening to my story?" Fun Gus asked everyone. "We were! But we were also looking for our friends." Kipo said to Fun Gus.
"But I'm not done playing with them yet. I haven't had anyone to play with in so long." Fun Gus said to Kipo. "Well, what if we play for Dave and Mandu!" Kipo said to Fun Gus, making Fun Gus exclaim. "Have you ever played hide and seek?" Kipo asked Fun Gus.
Fun Gus shook its head no. "If we can find our friends, we win! And you have to give them back, including Lady." Kipo said to Fun Gus. "OK, but you won't win, 'cause I'm so good at hiding stuff." Fun Gus said to Kipo. "Deal!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. Fun Gus then left
"You'll never find them! You'll never find them! You'll never find them!" Fun Gus said with a creepy singing voice, freaking everyone out.
Cactus Town
Back in Cactus town, Scarlemagne's forces won the battle, and tied up the Umlaut Snakes, with all the Stakatakas broken apert, the Stakatakas were still alive, just in a couple dozen pieces. "You know it would have saved us a lot of time if you had started with that Z-move of yours." Scarlemangne said to Javin. "Excuse me for wanting to save that move for later, when we face the Mega Monkey!" Javin said to Scarlemagne.
"We'll talk about your poor performance later." Scarlemagne said to Javin. "But first." Scarlemagne said, as he walked up to the Umlaut Snakes. "How would you like to go to my coronation?" Scarlemagne asked the Umlaut Snakes. Cotton hissed at Scarlemagne, but Scarlemagne stopped her.
"Oh, don't bother answering. Wasn't a question." Scarlemagne said to the Umlaut Snakes, as his forces took the Umlaut Snakes and the shattered Stakatakas away.
That's when the rest of them got ready to go, and Scarlemagne and Javin noticed the collar was gone. "Gerard! Where is the collar?" Scarlemagne asked Gerard. "It has vanished from the spot. From whence it came." Gerard said to Scarlemagne, as Scarlemagne growled at him.
"Gerard! You had one job! One! And you couldn't even do that!?" Javin said to Gerard. "She took it back. We have to find the monkey first!" Scarlemagne said to everyone.
That's when they all say the Mega Monkey leave her nest. "Hark! I found her!" Gerard said to everyone. This annoyed Scarlemagne and Javin, and caused Jester to let out a stream of fire, setting Gerard on fire.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the Fungus Burrow, everyone was looking for Dave, Mandu, and Lady. "Dave! Mandu! Lady!" Kipo called out softly. "Dave, can you hear me buddy? Look, I just wanted you to know, I'm sorry I didn't believe you. You don't always have to be Fun Dave. I love Old Dave, too!" Benson said.
"Stop talking about your feelings. You're so embarrassing!" Dave said, with his teen voice. "Dave! Where are you?" Kipo softly asked Dave. Then they heard Mandu squealing. "Mandu? I can't see you anywhere!" Kipo said, before getting an idea. "But maybe I can smell you." Kipo said. "Good idea." Kalena said, as she turned her tongue into its lizard form, and Kipo turned her nose into her jaguar form, and they tried to find Dave, Mandu, and Lady.
Once they got the scent, Kipo and Kalena started to run, with everyone following them. The scent led them to the bottom of the place, and in front of a DNA statue.
"There!" Kipo said, as she pointed at the top of the statue. That's when everyone noticed Dave, Mandu, and Lady wrapped in fungus at the top of the statue, and the Book was also with them. "About time. This pig's too close. And I need my space." Dave said to everyone.
"Dave! Uh… I should've listened to you. I'm so sorry." Benson said to Dave. "You should be sorry. I straight up told you. If you'd listen." Dave said to Benson, as Kipo and Kalena turned their nose and tongue back to normal.
"We won! Fun Gus, we won!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "Way to go, you guys!" Fun Gus said to everyone, as he appeared on the statue. "Now that we finished that game, we can play another one!" Fun Gus said to everyone, ashemoved around everyone.
"No, it's time to give Dave, Mandu, and Lady back!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "Not till we play Simon Says. and I'll be Simon and it can be Fun Gus Says! Or we can play jumping! Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump! Jump…" Fun Gus said, ashemade the fungus go wild.
"There is no winning with this kid, is there?" Benson asked everyone. "No, this kid is completely out of control." Aqua said to Benson.
Las Vasta Sky
Meanwhile Scarlemagne's forces were flying through the sky, looking for the Mega Monkey. While looking around, Gerard noticed the Mega Monkey's tail behind a building. "Ha! Stupid Mega Monkey. Thinks 'this hiding." Gerard said, before laughing.
That's when Scarlemagne and Javin noticed the Mega Monkey reading a net trap. Scarlemagne made their flamingo fall back, making them dodged the Mega Monkey's next. "Who's stupid now Gerard?" Javin asked Gerard, as Scarlemagne laughed at the Mega Monkey in joy.
The Mega Monkey noticed Scarlemagne, Javin, and their Pokemon fly to her, and took off. Scarlemagne and Javin gave chase, leaving the rest of others in the net.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the Fungus Burrow, Fun Gus was completely out of control. "Fun Gus says touch your nose, Fun Gus says tickle your toes, Fun Gus says dance in your bows, Boop-bop-beep-bop dippity doze!" Fun Gus said to everyone, ashemade the place shake.
"Ah, Fun Gus, can you maybe calm down a little?" Kipo asked Fun Gus. "Sorry! I'm just so excited! What game is next?!" Fun Gus asked everyone, as everything stopped shaking. "Uh… how about my favorite game, "Who can close their eyes the longest?" Kipo asked Fun Gus, as she closed her eyes.
"Isn't that just a nap?" Wolf asked Kipo. "No, no, no! It's a game! I know that one!" Benson said to everyone. "Yeah, it's a fun "game"." Kalena said to everyone. That's when Wolf got the idea. "Oh, oh. Dave, Mandu, and Lady should play, too!" Wolf said to everyone, making Fun Gus gasp.
"OK!" Fun Gus said to everyone, giving them Dave, Mandu, and Lady, plus the book. "Fine. Guess I'll play but no peeking. Mandu, I'm looking at you." Dave said to everyone. "Let's play a little music to get in the eye-closing mood." Benson said, as he played some music.
"Psst, Dave." Kipo quietly said to Dave, making Dave pass her the book. "I'm already winning…" Fun Gus said to everyone, giggling before falling asleep. "He's asleep." Wolf said to everyone. "Let's get out of here before he walks up!" Kalena said quietly to everyone. "You guys go. I have to keep reading." Kipo said to everyone.
"You can do that outside! If you read something big in that book and yell, you'll walk him up and he'll get mad!" Kalena said to Kipo. "But if this journal isn't my anchor, maybe it'll give me a clue to something here that is." Kipo said to Kalena.
"Kipo, if we don't get out now, we may never get out." Kalena said "I know. So just go." Kipo said to Kalena. "We've been through this before. We're not leaving you Kipo." Benson said to Kipo. "Pssh, yeah. Leaving for losers." Dave said to Kipo. "We're a team." Wolf said to Kipo, as she held out her stick.
Everyone then touched Wolf stick, like a hand in the middle. Everyone but Kalena, who thought staying here was a bad idea. "Come on Kalena." Kipo said to Kalena. Kalena huffed, and placed her hand in the pile.
Then Fun Gus screamed and then chuckled. "Dinosaurs." Fun Gus said, before going back to snoring.
"He's dreaming." Benson said to everyone, as Kipo started to read the book. "Today I made the biggest breakthrough of my career…" Kipo said, as she read.
The Past
In the past, Song was showing Lio the secret panel. "Check it out! Secret panel!" Song said to Lio. "Oh, my goodness! You've always wanted one of those!" Lio said to Song. "I know, right!" Song said to Lio, before breaking the broom she used to press the button.
This made Lio laugh. "I guess you're still getting used to that super strength." Lio said to Song, before kissing her. "How was work?" Song asked lIo. "Well, there were cupcakes for Janet's birthday, Dawn made a funny mess with the cupcakes, and everyone's suspicious of your burrow pox." Lip said to Song.
"Oh. Well, I'd feel better about that if you had brought me a cupcake, or if I saw Dawn being that silly little girl her mother hoped she would be." Song said to Lio. "Yeah. That would've made this next part so much easier. I think maybe we should leave tonight." Lio said to Song.
"Tonight?! As in leave before I have the baby? I can't give birth on the surface. Do you remember what happened to Bertrade when she gave birth on the surface. It was too much for her and now Dawn will never know her birth mother. It's too dangerous." Song said, before she started to pant frantically.
"Song, hey, Song. Are you OK? Song?" Lio asked Song, as Song's panting got faster. Then Song started to yell.
A few hours later, Song gave birth to a baby girl with light purple skin, purple eyes, tufts of pink hair, and wrapped in a blue blanket with yellow stars around her. But it wasn't over, to their surprise, Song then gave birth to another baby girl with brown skin, dark purple eyes, a tuft of tan hair and wrapped in a yellow blanket with a red single large sun around her. And while Lio and Song were happy by the surprise of having twins, the twins were crying out their hands like normal babies do when they are born.
"Come here, sweethearts. Come to Daddy. It's OK." Lio said to the babies, as he took them from Song. Lio then started to sing, and it calmed the kids down. "Sh, sh, sh, sh, sh. It's Ok." Lio said to the twins.
"What are we going to call them?" Lio asked Song. "Well, we agreed on Kipo. so we'll name the one that came first, Kipo." Song said to Lio, as she placed a hand on the side of the purple skin baby head. "And I'm too tired to think of a name for this one." Song said, as she placed a hand on the side of the tan baby's head. "But they're both perfect." Song said to Lio. "Just like their mom." Lio said to Song.
That's when Kipo's right arm became a tiny version of her jaguar claw, and the tan baby's skin turned scaly. "Honney, look." Lio said to Song. "Oh, good. You're seeing it, too. I thought I was just deliriously tired." Song said to Lio. "Look at Kipo's little Paw, and her sister's scaly skin. Guess we have a jaguar and komodo dragon on our hands." Lio said to Song.
"Well that's half a good thing. A komodo dragon will be hard to cuddle." Song said to Lio, making the tan baby cry a little. "But that doesn't mean I don't love you." Song said to the tan baby, petting the side of her head.
That's when the twins fell asleep. "They'll change everything. They'll make it safe for humans to live on the surface. And they'll always have each other and never feel alone." Song said to Lio. "Only if we can get them out of here." Lio said to Song, as they looked at the sleeping twins.
"You're right. I'll go start packing." Song said to Lio. "Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I'll pack and soon as you're well enough, we'll get Hugo and go. In the meantime, why don't you think of a name for our extra surprise." Lio said to Song, as he put his head on Song's head.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the present, everyone was surprised by what was written in the book. "Hugo?!" Kipo asked with a surprised look on her face. "Is that?" Kalena asked. "It's what my dad called-." Kipo said to Kalena, but was interrupted by Wolf. "Scarlemagne." Wolf said to everyone.
"If your parents were planning on taking Scarlemagne with them…" Benson asked Kipo. "Then who were they running from?" Kipo asked everyone. Aqua then got an idea on who they were running from, but kept it to herself.
Cactus Town
Back in Cactus town, Emilia was still out cold, with Zane trying to wake her. "Dr. Emilia!" Zane said to Emilia, as Emilia woke up, and took off her broken mask and lowered her hood. "That monkey packs a punch." Greta said to everyone. "Yeah. She must really miss me. The monkey was mine for 13 years. I'm not giving up that easily. Let's go." Emilia said to everyone, not looking at them.
"The dragonfly's busted." Zane said to Emilia, as Emilia noticed the Dragon fly as busted. "It ain't flying nowhere." Zane said to Emilia. "I can fix it! I just need another dragonfly." Greta said to everyone. "Don't bother. We go on foot." Emilia said to everyone, as they started to run.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the Fungus Burrow, Kipo was on the edge of freaking out. "This whole time I thought Scarlemagne was the most evil thing out there, but what if he's not. What if there's someone else?" Kipo asked everyone.
That's when Fun Gus appeared next to them. "Hey! No one else's eyes are closed!" Fun Gus said to everyone, sounding annoyed. "We just opened them, meaning you won the game, congratulation Fun Gus." Kalena said to Fun Gus. "Wait a second. Were you trying to trick me into taking a nap?" Fun Gus asked everyone, getting made.
This scared Dave and turned him into his adult form. "Every version of me thinks that kid is creepy." Dave said to everyone, as Kipo laughed nervously. "Fun Gus, we're sorry. We're not trying to trick you but-" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "We've just really gotta find Kipo's anchor and…" Benson said to Fun Gus, finishing Kipo's sentence, but was interrupted by Fun Gus.
"La, la, la, la, la! I can't hear you! I can't hear you!" Fun Gus said, having a temper tantrum. "Uh, guys?" Dave said to everyone, before Fun Gus grabbed him. "What did you say Squiggle Baby Man? You don't want to play with them anymore? OK! Then we'll play alone. Forever!" Fun Gus said to Dave.
"He didn't say that. You're scaring him, and acting like this isn't helping you make friends. Now put him down!" Aqua said to Fun Gus, with a commanding voice. but this made Fun Gus madder. "I don't think now is the time for a lecture." Benson said to Aqua.
"Fun Gus, wait! Let's play another game! You choose!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "Really?!" Fun Gus asked Kipo, making him drop Dave. "I vote tag! Tag!" Fun Gus said, as he grabbed Benson and Groove.
"What? You didn't say "go"!'' Benson said to Fun Gus. "Xurkitree!" Groove said, as he fired a burst of electricity at Fun Gus, trying to get Fun Gus off him. But the electricity did nothing.
"Double Tag!" Fun Gus said, as he grabbed Wolf and Star. "Kartana!" Star said, as he tried to slash Fun Gus off him with green glowing blades. But the cuts were healed instead, making it pointless.
"You're supposed to let go after you tag!" Kipo said to Fun Gus. "Yah, and it's someone else's turn after they get tagged." Kalena said to Fun Gus. "You guys tried to trick me! Now I'm tricking you! See how you like it!" Fun Gus said to everyone, as he moved to the top of the statue.
Fun Gus then fired fungus whips at everyone, getting Virgo, Cloak, Lady, and Kommo-o in the process.
"Nihilego!" Cloak said, as she let out a steam of acid, dissolving some of the fungus on her. But the fungus quickly healed from the damage.
"Poipole." Star said, as she fired a beam of light green with pink shaped into the fungus, trying to break free, and like the others attack, having no effect.
"Pheromosa." Lady said, as she tried to jump up and out of her, but the fungus shot up, and grabbed her, forcing her back to the ground.
"Kommo-o." Kommo-o said, as her claws glowed teal, and she slashed thro the fungus, trying to get it off her, but got quickly overtaken by the fungus.
Kipo grabbed Mandu, and she and Kalena started to jump around, with Aqua still on Kalena's back, dodging Fun Gus' attacks. But this frustrated Fun Gus. "You're cheating!" Fun Gus said to Kipo and Kalena, as he started to yell.
"It's tag, we run, you chase. It's as simple as that. And if you're it. Then us running away from you isn't cheating." Kalena said to Fun Gus. but this just made Fun Gus madder, and he wrapped the ones he had, plus Dave, into fungus webbing.
Kipo and Kalena kept running, dodging the webbing, and they got away from the webbing. "I told you we should have left!" Kalena said to Kipo.
Las Vasta Plains
Meanwhile Scarlemagne, Javin, Jester, and Maria were still on the trail for the Mega Monkey. "I'll handle this." Scarlemagne said to Javin, as he landed their flamingo behind the tired Mega Monkey. "Don't worry. I won't attack you. In fact, look around. It's just us, and they will not get any closer to you." Scarlemagne said to the Mega Monkey.
The Mega Monkey turned to Scarlemagne, and looked at everyone, like she was seeing if Scarlemagne was telling the truth.
"Hmm, so, you can understand me. Magnificent." Scarlemagne said to the Mega Monkey. The Mega Monkey reached out a hand, but pulled it back. "The human who enslaved you stole my pheromones to do it." Scarlemagne said to the Mega Monkey.
The Mega Monkey tilted her head, like she knew that. "How would you like to get revenge on Dr. Emilia?" Scarlemagne asked the Mega Monkey. This made the Mega Monkey roar in anger. "I guess I'm not the only one who gets riled up by that name." Javin said to everyone.
"Yes. Join me. We won't rest until all humans share the same fate you were forced to endure." Scarlemagne said to The Mega Monkey, before maniacal laughter. This scared the Mega Monkey away. "Uh boss." Javin said to Scarlemagne, making Scarlemagne stop laughing and noticed the Mega Monkey running away.
"Oh. Where are you going?" Scarlemagne asked the Mega Monkey. "You scared her away with your laugh. I told you to reel that laugh in." Javin said to Scarlemagne.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the Fungus Burrow, Kipo, Kalena, Aqua, and Mandu were hiding in Kipos' parents place, catching their breath. "We have to get them out of Lichenland, everyone. But How?" Kipo asked everyone.
"You know we won't have this problem if you listen to me and we left while Fun Gus was asleep." Kalena said to Kipo. "Is now really the time for a "I told you so"?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Considering that Fun Gus is now mad, and is trying to trap us here. Yes, now is the time for a "I told you so"." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Will you just help me figure out a way to help the others?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Considering that Pokemon attacks don't work on Fun Gus, and he's literally the home field, there's no way we can force him to let go of our friends or steal them." Aqua said to Kipo.
"There has to be something we can do." Kipo said to everyone, as Mandu right into Kalena's face. "Mandu, the last thing I need is your sloper in my mouth." Kalena said to Mandu, making Kipo gasp. "Mandu, you're a genius!" Kipo said to Mandu, nuzzling Mandu, and confusing everyone.
Kipo led everyone to the bathroom. "Mulholland…" Kipo said to the shower head "Mulholland…." Kipo said to the sink. "Mulholland!" Kipo said, sticking her head into the toilet. "Kipo, the water in the place hasn't been on for years. I don't think Mulholland's here." Aqua said to Kipo.
"Kipo! Kipo!" Mulholland said, as he came out of the shower head. "Or I could be wrong." Aqua said to everyone. "You came!" Kipo said to Mulholland. "Of course, I did. This is the first time someone's invited me over! Hmm? Do you think that's because I used to feed on brain energy?" Mulholland asked everyone.
"Yes. Yes, I do." Kipo said to Mulholland. Mulholland then made an explosion noise. "Mind blown." Mulholland said, as he moved from the tub to the toilet. "This self-discovery journey is a real trip. Anywoos, what can I do for ya?" Mulholland asked everyone.
"So glad you asked! Are you ready to take your journey to the next step? Because we really need your help!" Kipo said to Mulholland.
With Fun Gus, he had everyone trapped, and played pretend with everyone in one of the rooms. "Mary, pour me some tea please?" Fun Gus asked everyone. "I think that's you, Wolf." Benson said to Wolf. "No. There isn't anything there!" Wolf said to Benson.
"Mary, use your imagination!" Dave said, before drinking imagine tea. "Ah." Dave said, pretending to enjoy the tea. That's when Kipo, Kalena, and Aqua showed up. "Aw, I spilled!" Dave said, pretending the tea was ruined. "Uh, what are you doing here?" Fun Gus asked Kipo, still mad at her.
"If we can't take our friends with us, we're staying. We're a team." Kipo said to Fun Gus. "Yay, team! My forever friends!" Fun Gus said, as he grabbed Kipo, Kalena, and Aqua.
But Fun Gus' tea party was just a dream Mulholland gave Fun Gus. "More tea for Mary and no more cream for Squiggle Baby Man." Fun Gus said talking in his sleep. "Keep sleepin' lil' lichey." Mulholland said to Fun Gus, as Kipo and Kalena came down to the base of the area, in their mute forms, looking for everyone, with Aqua still on Kalena's back.
They heard muffled form a pile of fungus, and ran to it. Kipo and Kalena used their claws to cut everyone free of the fungus. "Bow, am I glad to see you all!" Benson said to everyone. "Whoa! It stuck in there! What does he eat?" Dave asked everyone. "Who cares. Let's get out of here." Aqua said to Dave. "Agreed!" Wolf said, as they started to leave.
But Fun Gus felt them leaving and started to rouse. "The little fellas catching on." Mulholland said to everyone, as Fun Gus started to shake the place. "I can't hold him Much longer." Mulholland said to everyone.
The Past
In the past, while Kipo wasn't reading the book, Song was having a hard time holding Kipo and the tan baby, while all of them were on the bed. "I can't hold them much longer. Take the picture." Song said to Lio, as Kipo used her jaguar paw to play with Song's face, and the tan baby playing with Song's hair, with her scaly skin showing.
"I'm trying! It's hard to take a picture of yourself with this." Lio said to Song, trying to angle a camera. Once everyone was ready, Lio took the picture, with him and Song smiling, and Kipo and the Tan baby playing with each other.
"Aw, look how cute Mom and babies are." Lio said to everyone, as he showed them the picture, with Kipo and the tan baby asleep. "I wish I could frame this picture, but no one can ever see it." Song said to Lio.
"I'll break into the lab tonight for Hugo. Then we leave." Lio said to Song. "Before that. I came up with a name for our little surprise." Song said to Lio, opening the blankets. One Kipo's dipper, her name was written on it. And on the tan baby's dipper was the world Kalena.
"I thought a K name would be nice, and after thinking about it for a while. I came up with Kalena." Song said to Lio. "I'm surprised I didn't notice that while I was taking the picture. And Kalena, it sounds like a great name just like Kipo." Lio said to Song.
Lio then changed the title of the book from Project Kipo to Project K&K and put the picture in the book, not writing Kalena's name in it. Then Lio put the book in the secret panel, with Song next to him, with Kipo and Kalena in her hands.
That's when they heard knocking at the door, with the knocking getting louder and more frequent with every second. This made Song gasp. "Lio." Song said to Lio. "OK." Lio said to Song, as he grabbed a backpack. "New plan, we leave now. End of plan." Lio said to Song.
"Take Kipo and Kalena, and get out of here." Song said to Lio. "No! We are not leaving you. Not like this." Lio said to Song. "You have to. Kipo and Kalena are the most important things in the world. I'll be fine. Super strength." Song said to Lio.
"OK. You know where to find us." Lio asked Song, as the knocking continued. Song kissed Lio's cheek. "I love you three." Song said to Lio, as Kipo and Kalena woke up. Song then kissed their cheeks goodbye. That's when Lio left out a large vent with the twins, leaving Song to face the danger alone.
Fungus Burrow
Back in the present, everyone was rushing towards the exit, with Lady long gone, and Fun Gus was up, and he was very mad. This made everyone move faster, as massive amounts of fungus shot out of the ruins. "Get back here!" Fun Gus said to everyone.
That's when Kipo stopped and turned to Fun Gus. "I'm sorry, Fun Gus!" Kipo said to Fun Gus, as Fun Gus kept roaring. That's when Kalena ran back, grabbed Kipo, and carried Kipo with her spear arms, with Aqua still on her back.
"Not everything is going to be a friend, some things will be enemies. That includes a living fungus brat." Kalena said to Kipo.
After a bit more running, Fun Gus gave up, and this let everyone know it was okay to stop running. Once they stopped, they all started to pant, minus Aqua. As Kalena put Kipo and Aqua down, Mulholland moved to the fire hydrant.
"Thanks, Mulholland. We couldn't have gotten away without you." Kipo said to Mulholland. "Yeah, if I have to pick between water creatures or fungus creatures, I'll pick water creatures every time." Kalena said to Mulholland.
"I have no idea helping could be so fulfilling. If you ever need me, Kipo, Kalena, and Co., just call into the water again. Helping is so cool! Super cool!" Mulholland said to everyone, before jumping into the air, turning into rain, and leaving like that, with Mandu and Dave trying to drink some of Mulholland's water in hopes of going to dreamland.
Then Benson noticed Kipo, giving the book a long look. "It isn't the anchor, is it?" Benson asked Kipo. Kipo then groaned and walked away from everyone. "Come on! Get an anchory feeling! Come on! Anchor feelings go!" Kipo said, as she waved the book around.
"Kipo. I tried to tell you, self discovery isn't a simple process. It takes years to understand oneself." Aqua said to Kipo. "I don't have years to figure it out!" Kipo said to Aqua, before tossing the book to the ground, sitting on the ground, and hugged her legs. This made everyone, but Kalena, Wolf, and Dave move to Kipo's side.
"So, how do we stop Scarlemagne?" Benson asked Kipo. Kipo said nothing. That's when Wolf looked at the book. That's when Wolf noticed the picture left in the book. Wolf looked at the picture, and her jaw dropped. "Kipo?" Wolf said to Kipo, getting Kipo's attention.
Las Vasta Forest
Meanwhile Scarlemagne's forces were attacking the Mega Monkey. Their attack was gassing her. And no matter how hard the Mega Monkey fought back, the gas was taking its toll on her.
Scarlemagne watched this all happen with Javin, Maria, and Jester with him. "This isn't the grand hunt you promised me." Javin said to Scarlemagne. "If I let you hunt her, you'd kill her. I need her alive. She'll make me the king." Scarlemagne said to Javin.

Back with the gang, Wolf held the picture to Kipo. "What is it?" Kipo asked Wolf. Wolf said nothing. Kipo took the picture.

With the battle, the Mega Monkey was losing, as the gas covered her, she looked at the scale and armband Kalena and Kipo gave her.

Back with the gang, they looked at the picture, and while everyone looked at it with a happy face, no one noticed Kalena's eyes widened. What made her eyes widen, was her focusing on the tan baby. After seeing the baby's looks, and a K on her dipper, Kalena came to a realization, one that made her unable to speak.
"It's my family. Like… really us." Kipo said to everyone, crying on the picture. "The way we truly are. Guys, this is my anchor!" Kipo said, whipping her eyes. "Oh, thank goodness!" Benson said to Kipo, as they all hugged Kipo. All but Kalena, who was having a hard time trying to process the idea of being not only Kipo's long lost sister, but from this world and not from the Pokemon world.
But then Kipo noticed something in the picture, not the fact that Kalena was her sister, but the hair on Song's arm. "Wait a second. My mom. Her fur, it's not jaguar fur." Kipo said to everyone. "Well if your sister was a komodo dragon, maybe she had a different mutation?" Aqua said to everyone.

With the battle, the Mega Monkey lost the battle, and her mind was taken from her. Scarlemagne was laughing maniacally in joy. But this didn't sit well with Javin, something about this felt round, but he ignored the feelings.

Back with the gang, they looked at the picture, when Aqua had an idea. "Wait a minute!" Aqua said, getting everyone's attention. "What is it?" Kipo asked Aqua.
"Kipo, you're able to turn into a mega. The experiment used jaguar, falcon, monkey, and komodo dragon. If you're the jaguar, your sister the komodo dragon, and falcon have feathers not fur, then by process of elimination and the data in that book, that means…" Aqua said to everyone, before she stopped talking.
Everyone then put two and two together, and gasped. The reason, they realized the Mega Monkey, wasn't a normal mute, it was Song the whole time.
Las Vasta Forest
With Scarlemagne, he was looking at the Song. "You left me no choice." Scarlemagne said to Song, before doing more maniacal laughing. "Boss. Should we really do this to her?" Javin asked Scarlemagne, making Scarlemagne stop laughing.
"Why do you suggest such a thing?" Scarlemagne asked Javin. "Because, if we're trying to prove we're better than humans. Then we shouldn't use the tactics of the worst human being in existence." Javin said to Scarlemagne.
"Just be quiet and follow my order. For now all you need to do is fly my flamingos home. And don't scratch my flamingos." Scarlemagne said to Javin, before jumping off the flamingos and onto Song's shoulder.
Scarlemagne then waved his hands, commanding Song to move. "Off we go!" Scarlemagne said to everyone, with a singing voice, making everyone return to Scarlemagne's Palace, with Javin flying very slow behind everyone and feeling wrong about this.
That's when Emilia, Zane, and Greta came running up, and gasped when they saw Scarlemagne controlling Song.

Back with the gang, the ground started to shake. "Please tell me that's not Fun Gus?!" Aqua asked everyone. "It has to be Fun Gus! He's coming for me!" Dave said to everyone. That's when Benson noticed Song in the distance. "No. Look!" Benson said to everyone, pointing to Song.
This made Kipo get up, and she and Kalena gasped. That's when they noticed Scarlemagne controlling Song. "Mom!" Kipo said, freaking out.
Then with teary eyes, her blood started to bold, and she crumpled the picture in her hand. Kipo got on her hands, and dropped the picture. Kipo then started to roar, and let out a gust of wind, knocking everyone away.
When they got up, they noticed Kipo and turned into a giant pink jaguar, with black spots, and a few of the spots having dark purple cores. Kipo then turned to Scarlemagne and roared.
While Kipo was roaring, in an instance Kalena turned into her mute form, and jumped onto Kipo's tail, digging her claws into Kipo tails.
Kalena did that because Kipo then ran after Scarlemagne at high speed, and could easily shake her off if her claws were in Kipo. Not that Kipo noticed Kalena's claws. To her Kalena's claws were just a tiny sting.
Back with the others, they gasp, before Wolf grabbed the picture that was flipped into the air by Kipo transforming. "Kipo!" Wolf said, as they all ran after them.
"Ugh! I have to get to Kipo's head! I need to try and reach her somehow!" Kalena said, as she started to climb Kipo's body, trying to reach her head, while also not trying to fall off.
