Some felt it.
Some did not.
"Hey guys, what's up?" Midoriya asked, landing from one of his practice kicks when several of his classmates seemed to stop their training at once to look towards the entrance, "Is there something wrong?"
"D-don't you feel it?" Kaminari stammered as electricity danced uncontrollably over his body, "I don't know what it is, but I never felt something like this before! Shit, I-I feel... scared!" He crossed his arms over his chest.
"I do too, kero," Asui admitted without hesitation, "I didn't feel like this even at the raid on Shie Hassaikai." She seemed to shiver.
Midoriya blinked as Ashido, Ojiro, Shoji, Tokoyami, Todoroki, and even Hagakure seemed restless and uneasy, "What's... what's going on?" He looked over, seeing that (as that two of The Big 3 had joined them on this training session) Amajiki was huddled in a corner with Togata standing over him concern, "Seriously, what is happening?!"
"What are you losers bitching about?" Bakugou narrowed his eyes, not feeling anything out of the ordinary and it angered him, "C'mon, you idiots, talk."
"I know this," Todoroki answered, having arrived back at the academy that morning, "I believe she's one of my father's associates." He was not sure if she was actually his teammate at this point as his father had said nothing more about her and Hawks.
"Are... are you sure?!" Midoriya widened his eyes, which instantly shot towards the entrance as the doors opened, "All Might! Aizawa!" He blinked, taken back by Midnight and Present Mic's presence also, "Umm, you're all here?" He asked, taking a step back in shock when someone else stepped in, "I-is that Hawks?!"
"In the flesh, kid!" Hawks saluted, not at all fazed by the awed eyes staring at him, "Hey, 1-A students! Just came to check up on you... for reasons!"
"Sir, what are you doing here?" Tokoyami stepped forward only to stumble back in shock when a small figure stepped out from behind Hawks, "I–" He failed with his words because he felt something like a deep fear rise up within him at the very sight of the girl.
"Oh, hey! You're Hawks' new sidekick, right?" Midoriya asked excitedly, not realizing she was the reason why some of his classmates were shaking and huffing in panic, "Miko isn't it?" He deflated a little when she completely ignored him.
Kagome scanned the training ground, 'There are more than I thought there would be,' She wondered, 'Even if diluted, how is there so much Youkai blood expressing itself?'
"You're here," Todoroki quickly shook off the strange feeling, causing Kagome to focus on him, "I do believe my father regrets what he said to you." He said in a low tone.
"I am surprised to see you again so soon, Shouto," Kagome said, though she did not look surprised at all, "If the Flame Oni wants to apologize, he can do it in person," Her nails dug into her hands, "If... you still want to join my pack, that offer is open to you and your siblings."
Todoroki blinked, "I honestly don't know what that means," He replied, "Are you asking me to be your teammate...?" He glanced at Hawks, knowing that she was a part of his agency.
Kagome sighed, "I will tell you later then," She tapped her boot against the ground, knowing he was not the reason they came, "So... crowded in here."
"Oh, you're here," Aizawa said dully, noticing Togata trying to comfort a kneeling Amajiki, "Good, we won't have to find you afterwards," His face grew a little dark, "But you are supposed to be looking after Eri."
"Nejire is doing that, Sir!" Togata answered brightly, scratching the back of his neck, "Just thought I drop by and get a workout in. Plus, I wanted to see how Class 1-A was doing!" His smile did not dim in the least, "But why did you need to find me?"
"Something we want to try involving your Quirk," Aizawa watched the shock and hope that appeared on Togata's face before turning to Hawks and Kagome, "Just get your stunt over with. Beat them all down if you want." He closed his eyes at All Might's sigh and Midnight and Present Mic's snickers.
"You heard the man!"
