He could remember, what exactly did he remembered? The Death Egg, fighting Mecha Sally, trying to rescue her and almost getting strangled and being engulfed by a white light. Alright, that was something but not enough, there was more but what else? He remembered that the last time Eggman used his white-out attack, he appeared in a grass-like place and it took him some time to start remembering events through flashbacks.

There was something else... Something that he told Tails to do in the last second of everything- The Dimensions! Right! They were going to use a device to bring help from other dimensions or to counter Eggman's white-out which it seemed to have worked... it did worked.

Yes! Sonic was overjoyed that after multiple times where they had arrived to a place too late or not done something correctly, they finally stopped whatever Eggman was trying to cause. But now there were more things to take care of, primarily if Eggman had failed it meant that Sonic had succeeded therefore the dimensions thing did what it was supposed to do and maybe the different Sonics should be around.

Speaking of which, where was he? A quick look all around proved that he wasn't in the Death Egg, or anything remotely close to it, Tails, Amy or the Artic Freedom Fighters were also missing; he was just in some generic plains, maybe a stroll around the place would give the precise location of where he was because standing around and thinking about wasn't going to get the job done.

The Sky Patrol had crashed into what it seemed to be some sort of ruins with a nearby forest, nothing too fancy.

However, the base itself was definitely heavily damaged, and it probably was going to need a major repair, the people inside it weren't having a good time either. And they didn't know what to do first, going outside to see what happened, trying to figure what happened on the inside or checking on everyone.

"We need a quick regroup!" shouted Sally a bit confused and dizzy trying to process what exactly had happened "Once we're okay we have to analyze what's this".

"From the looks of it..." said Sonic being completely dizzy trying to regain composure "We entered a portal, what do you think happened?"

"And what was causing that portal? Why did it wanted you exactly? And why was it so determine to get you?"

"Yeah, we have to put in the table what we do know" added Tails.

"And wha' do we know?" said Bunnie sarcastically "It was round, it definitely wasn't stopping, and it was a strong portal".

"Yeah, being inside here will lead us nowhere" said Sally "If we're all fine then we should get started... I'll check on Nicole".

While the rest of the F.F stayed in the room, Sally was indeed overwhelmed feeling some sort of headache but she wasn't gonna let that get in the way of this completely unexpected event of what could possibly be a transportation to another planet, place or dimension, the only dimension they knew was the Sol Dimension and even that didn't require portals like these. Right now as she walked to the main area she feared the worst when she saw that the computer was also pretty badly damaged so communicating with Nicole was going to be limited.

Her fears increased after grabbing Nicole's hand-held form was not responding as it should be but quickly the A.I replied in text-form.

'Sorry for that,' she texted 'This little trip did no good to... anyone'

"I guess this is your version of going dizzy after a sudden shift in time and space?" Sally said relieved to see her talking.

'I suppose, but we need to find what's behind all of this... and don't worry maybe the effects of the "dizziness" will wear off'.

"Can't you do a quick check of where we are or something like that? Time? Place?"

'I should be able to, but not right now... I need some time'.

"That's okay, take your time, we'll see what we do on the meantime".

Closing the hand-held device she took a deep breath ready to take on whatever they were just about to face but she need to make sure that the team was settled down and be ready to take on the challenge as well, not that they didn't do that already but anyway.

"Tangle?" Sonic asked slowly trying to get up but struggling to do so, first he was about to race Tangle and suddenly he was in... a city... it looked to be a city, it had some very nice-looking buildings especially one in the middle that seemed to outshine the rest, a few houses here and there and just like a pleasant city to live in, if it weren't for some screams and roaring and sounds of destruction- okay, something was happening and he needed to know exactly what. Except that right now he was in no shape to even walk properly.

However, whether he liked it or not he was going to start moving and fast because it was very clear that a heavy battle was going on, maybe one that could explain where he was and why. Taking a quick look around the corner of a building he saw the intensity of the battle, a large octopus-like orange creature with a big red gem on what could be assumed to be its head not trying to destroy the city bur rather engaging in combat with... someone. Or better said finishing the combat because he could catch a glimpse of what was happening and apparently the red gem had just been taken out by a fishing rod.

A fishing rod.

But anyways, the battle looked to be over so now he could take a clear view of everything around him.

"Sonic?" a female voice called from behind him.

Sonic turned around to see a brown-colored lynx in a purple tunic looking at him in confusion

"Why- How are you here? Where's Team Fighters?"

'Team Fighters?' he thought 'That portal certainly was something'.

Suddenly, another faces showed up but this one was more familiar at least one of them because one of them was a purple walrus.

"Hi there Mr. Sonic" said the sweet voice of Cream.

"Cream!" said Sonic extremely relieved to see that not everything was uncommon "Good to see you!"

"Sonic are you okay?" The lynx asked again.

He was pretty much confused, but Cream seemed to be with them.

"Cream who are them?" he whispered.

"Huh? You don't know?" Cream said loudly giving away what he asked to the 'newcomers' "This is Ms. Nicole and he is Mr. Rotor" she said pointing to the lynx and walrus respectively.

"Sonic, what happened?" asked Rotor "I thought you were with Amy and Tails".

"Look, um- Nicole... Rotor, maybe you have questions -and I do too- but I'm pretty sure they will be resolved but for now do you know what was happening a few seconds ago?"

Both Nicole and Rotor looked each other being very confused by Sonic's behavior but probably had a logical explanation, it should have but him not recognizing them but was indeed worrisome

Now that everyone had settled down inside the Sky Patrol -minus Nicole- final preparations were under way, nothing that big to be honest.

"We're just gonna first scout around the area," explained Sally "after that then-"

"Scouting the area? Now I can do that!" Interrupted Sonic cockily and immediately left the base before anyone could react.

"I hate it when he does that" said Sally with arms crossed.

"Don't stress it out Sally-girl" added Bunnie "He'll do us a favor, he'll catch up the plan later".

When Sonic came outside he looked all around to see that in terms of civilization there was nothing but at least they were in the open instead of a prison or sometinh of stuff like that, however, the place wasn't all nice-looking, it looked as if some sort of warzone happened a long time ago, so maybe this wasn't a prison but it could easily be something worse.

As he looked behind the Sky Patrol, he saw the same thing, a large plains of ruins with some woods on the horizon and... Tails running towards him, despite Sonic being the first one to leave the base, Tails was already outside and meters away from him coming to him.

"Sonic!" the fox called out as he got closer "Sonic I think it worked!"

Tails greeted Sonic with a high-five which the hedgehog awkwardly accepted while the fox just continued to explain stuff.

"I don't know why or how we got here but I think we managed to stop what Eggman was doing but right now we need to find Amy!"

"Uh... aren't you supposed to be there?" said Sonic pointing at the Sky Patrol.

"What's that thing? And what are you talking about?"

Suddenly, as if destiny heard it, Tails was the second one to leave the Sky Patrol ready to explain the plan Sally had prepared to Sonic only to find an exact copy of him already on the outside next to Sonic leading to an awkward staring contest.

"Two Tails?" the hedgehog said even more confused.

"Wait," the first Tails exclaimed "You're the Sonic from the other dimension!"

"Other dimensio-".

"Right! That makes sense -I think-, but why would it bring another me? It should have only brought a different Sonic, unless something happened in your world or what Eggman did-".

"Um... Tails?" said the other Tails "I think you need to slow down".

"I agree," added Sonic "And if I tell you to slow down then it's because of something".

Tails scratched his head in embarassment admitting that, yeah, maybe he was going too fast for them and that the 'guests' may be confused and he was confused as well hoping to get an explanation soon.

"Yeah, you're right," he said "Anyways, we just need to-"

He cut himself off as the rest of the Freedom Fighters came out of the Sky Patrol revealing now the full team and the gravity of the situation to Tails, however that was not what caught his attention, what definitely made the fox almost petrified was seeing who were the members.

Sally and Antoine were okay.

We'll leave it here for now, next time we'll continue with the introduction of the Sonics in the universes but I'm barely just starting!
