1-The events of Worlds Collide didn't happened, yes, but the events of Worlds Unite did, this may look like a contradiction but after I analyzed I realized that the lack of WC doesn't changes anything drastically in WU other than the fact that Eggman and Sonic wouldn't know Willy and Megaman, everything else would play the same.

2-SatAM Sonic is kinda similar to standard Archie, but they have some slight/minor differences, and because as previously stated, Adventures Sonic wasn't what I was looking for and I know nothing of Underground

3-You're kinda right, I was going to set up after the third season but I realized that if I set it after the second one it would it would feel better

Something happened... Eggman had recently found a new partner -one from another dimension may I add-, who he worked pretty well with, they had spent hours on a self-created special zone and built another type of Death Egg inside it, they literally had everything underway and the last thing thing they needed was to synchronize the Genesis Wave from their respective worlds, however, the button was pushed, the reality should have been reseted but instead he found himself in Artika outside the main Death Egg, everything went exactly as planned yet it still failed, so something else went wrong.

So now his mood quickly changed from confused to angry, especially that Orbot and Cubot were nowhere to be seen either so whatever he was planning on doing he had to do it on his own, luckily he was next to the Death Egg so he should get some things going and fast.

"Hey Sonic," said Tails poking him with a stick off the ground "Are you awake?"

"No, no I'm not" Sonic replied slowly opening his eyes just wishing he could go back to sleep.

"C'mon! We have to find out where we are and find Sticks! Don't you remember that she told us a story about that she went through some kind of portal and landed in another dimension?".

"And you think we are in another dimension?" he said still on the ground.

"I don't know... but we could!"

"I mean... we're obviously in a fanfiction story".

"I can see that but we still need to know exactly where".

"The first act?"

"Sonic!" said Tails very frustrated.

"Fine, fine," Sonic replied with a cocky smile finally getting up from the ground "Anyway, I think over there are some houses that look like ours so you can take the 'other dimension' thing out of the window".

The place they were in was on the 'edge' of a normal forest with some decent-looking huts on the distance but some of them looked like they had taken some damage. But other than that it seemed like a very normal and familiar place. Meanwhile, from the woods a small robot spotted them both immediately knowing who they were and where they come from

Tom woke up laying on a couch, at first he thought it was his usual couch except that a few things didn't add up, first the roof was made out of dirt, solidified of course, and that this was definitely not his couch, also the last thing he was doing was having a quick and friendly ping pong match with Sonic before barely grabbing the bag of rings and missing Sonic before going through the portal himself.

"Sonic?" he said trying to get up like he had the heaviest dream ever "Sonic!"

It seemed like he was in some sort of an underground base but also very cozy-like given that it had and vintage-looking TV, a common fridge some doors that he assumed lead to other rooms but for now no one looked to be around. At leas he had the bag of rings so at least there's that, he could use one to find Sonic but first, he didn't know where he could be and second, he preferred Sonic to use them, so now, the best he could do was to keep them safe and figure out where he was.

However things were just about to become even more confusing as he began to hear someone approaching through a small tunnel with stairs that lead upwards. His first instinct was to hide behind the couch but he was a bit too curious about it but extremely surprised and shocked when he saw who the unexpected guest was.

Sonic... but he looked different to the one Tom used to know, this one was smaller had a different shade of blue, more flat-like shoes but with a similar design his quills looked like a mohawk and was wearing some sort of necklace but more than anything and more than anything, his arms were tan-colored, but he resembled enough to look like Sonic.

"Hey... you look weird" 'the Sonic' said.

"What..? What happened? And why- you look weird!"

"Huh?" he tried to examine himself without looking anything unusual "I look weird? I don't see anything wrong wi- hey, how would you know? Who are you?"

At this point Tom quickly understood that whatever that portal did didn't only took them from one place to another, it did brought them to somewhere he had yet to figure out but there were more things that needed answers.

Since that portal opened Sonic immediately assumed that it took him back to his own dimension, however, he could've wanted to have a little more chance to close things with Chris because he definitely needed some support but now, he had to make sure this was his world and that would be difficult to do except that he appeared next to a familiar structure, it looked like an altar, or ruins... It was Angel Island! So, yes, this should confirm that he was back in his world, maybe someone noticed his absence and managed to bring him back and, he had to appreciate the effort, whoever did it.

But he was in Angel Island so Knuckles should have done it... maybe with the Master Emerald or something like that so he should be around here, he took a peek of the top of the altar where he noticed the red echidna but something was different.

"Hey Knuckles!" he shouted ready to greet him.

"Huh?" Knuckles, who was sitting at the edge of the top of the stairs in deep thought, snapped out of it after recognizing the voice of Sonic.

"How's everything around here? Missed me?" Sonic added cockily.

However, this cockiness couldn't come at the worst possible moment; currently Knuckles went through the most tragic event in his life when his entire species was taken away in the blink of an eye by some douche wanting revenge taking them out in one shot back in their hometown, Albion. An event that Knuckles, Sonic, Tails and Amy tried to stop it but it was no use, and now Sonic was back on Angel Island -somehow- acting as if all of this hadn't happened.

"Off. My. Island." said Knuckles right after Sonic finished his sassy one-liner.

"What? I just got here!" he replied confused "Don't even wonder where I've been?"

Sonic was being genuine, he knew that Knuckles was heated up for some reason and that his cockiness was gonna make it worse, from his point of view, this was his world where just returned to. From Knuckles' point of view, this Sonic was the one that saw how his species instantly vanished without warning and was currently making a mockery out of it.

"What is wrong with you?! Out. Now!" said Knuckles being very close to just punching him out of the place.

"Fine, fine! I'll-... leave" and so, he could do nothing but to leave a floating island somehow before rubbing Knuckles worse, so because he was in a floating island and Mr. Echidna wanted to be left alone he first decided to head behind the altar and properly think what he was gonna do but surprisingly he found unexpected people, he had seen them before but seeing them here and now was definitely a surprise

It was the Chaotix, the crocodile, the chameleon and the bee, they were all here as well... along with some other two folks that Sonic didn't recognize at all but they looked to be a red armadillo and a yellow squirrel all of them sitting comfortably in a circle on the ground chatting between each other.

"Sonic?" Vector said "We thought we heard some things going on, what are you doing here?"

"Uh... I remember you three guys but- who are you two?" he said referring to the two 'newcomers'.

"Huh? You don't remember us?" said the armadillo "You feeling okay?"

"Maybe? Just wanted to know what happened to Knuckles back there".

The five-person group looked at each other in confusion with some of them acting surprised at Sonic's unusual behavior.

"I thought you should know better than everyone" Espio replied.

"Okay," said the armadillo getting up going for a friendly confrontation "It looks like you seem lost in thought or something, maybe you hit your head too hard so let's make this simple, why don't you come and join us and tell us where you've been and we'll... tell you what happened to Knux, good?"

Did Sonic landed in the right place? Knuckles was here, the Chaotix were also here for some reason, Angel Island and the Master Emerald were where they should be but then Knuckle's behavior and actions along with these two new guys who apparently had known him for a long time threw things off, no one even noticed that he was gone for a while so it was even weirder, but if it could be explained then he would gladly take it.

Eggman quickly made his way to the main deck of the Death Egg, where his glorious chair was in where he could easily be in charge of many things, like bases, footage from certain places, communications with his Egg Legion and so on. Right now, the first thing he needed to know was what happened that denied his plan.

"Orbot!" he commanded powerfully hoping to get a reply, which he did as the robot lackey quickly appeared in the scene but without his usual companion.

"Yes boss?"

"Wait, where's Cubot?"

"He is supposed to be here, inside the Death Egg making his way to this room".

"Why would he be somewhere that isn't where he should be?"

"Well boss... I think that something happened during your last attempt at resetting the world, so maybe we just got re-positioned?"

"So something did happened!" Eggman said sitting on his chair. "But what exactly-"

He was cut off by a sudden a power outage that hit the entire Death Egg in an unexpected way.

"Orbot!" he called out only to find him in the ground disabled indicating that he was also affected by the power outage, meaning that it wasn't a simple power outage, something like this points more towards an electromagnetic pulse and those happen for a reason so maybe there was a correlation between the cancellation of his plan and now an EMP attack, maybe someone was out there who was planning this against him, and he was definitely going to find it.
