Chapter 31
Last time: (Willis) Before heading to the train station, we went to Takato's bakery. We made our own bread which was a lot of fun, while we waited Ken told us his story of becoming a digistestine and the trouble he went through. I feel bad for him,but Kouichi's starting feel confident on telling us his story.
Summary: The kids go to the train station where they run into someone and try to hide the secret.
~Train Station~
"Alright next stop Shibuya" Kouji said as the group got on the train.
"So what do we do when we get there?" Ryo asked.
"The ride is about a half hour long." Ken said looking at a map.
"This is going to take a while." Kari sighed.
"Well it is the last stop on the line." Willis said reading a map.
"So we minus well sit back and relax." Michael said. Willis nodded in agreement.
"Maybe it's a good time for Kouichi to tell us his story." Takato suggested.
"Only if you want to. Remember take your time." Henry said.
"Not now." Takuya said.
"Yeah too many people on the train." Michael said.
"Someone could easily listen in and reveal or secret to the world." Willis added.
"Oh right." Takato said. "Which means for digimon act like stuffed animals." Takuya said.
"What about Guilmon he's too big to be a stuff animal." Kari asked.
"He'll be a kid in a costume." Takato answered. Several more minutes passed and the group found themselves asleep.
"Next stop Shibuya" A voice said through out the train. Kouji opened his eyes when he heard a voice.
"Next stop Shibuya" The voice repeated.
"Guys wake up our stop is coming up soon." Kouji warned.
"What?" Takuya asked waking up.
"He said our stop is next." Michael said.
"How did we fall asleep?" Kouichi asked.
"Must have been from boredom." Henry suggested.
"Plus we have been moving nonstop for a while." Takato said.
"And we just something." Willis added.
"Is everyone awake?' Michael asked.
"Everyone but Ryo, Kari and Ken." Henry said.
"We someone should wake them up." Willis said.
"I will." Takato said. He took out a couple of extra rolls he had brought at the bakery and threw it at his sleeping friends.
"Not like that." Willis said watching Takato throw the rolls at them.
"Ow." Ryo cried waking up.
"Morning." Takato said.
"We're almost at our stop." Kouji said.
"Really how soon?" Kari asked waking up.
"Like five minutes." Willis said.
"Was throwing rolls at us necessary?" Kari asked.
"How else was I supposed to wake you guys?" Takato asked.
"We're almost there time to wake up." would have worked." Terriormon said laughing
."You're not supposed to talk." Gatomon reminded him.
"Neither are you." Terriormon shot back.
"Both of you knock it off." Takato said as the train came to the stop.
"We're here." Ken said. One by one the kids got off the train with their digimon.
"Now what?" Henry asked.
"We head towards the elevator." Takuya answered.
"Then what?" Ken asked.
"You'll see." Takuya answered.
"Takuya?" A voice called from behind the group as the kids were about to reach the elevator.
"Mom?!" Takuya said seeing his mom and brother standing behind the group.
"Hi sweetie." Takuya's mom said coming up to him and hugging him. The others couldn't help but snicker at his misfortune.
"Mom stop." Takuya whined trying to break free.
"Hi Takuya." Shinya said.
"What are you guys doing here?" Takuya asked.
"We're heading home. What are you doing here?" Takuya's mother asked.
"Me? I'm with friends just heading back to Odaiba." Takuya said nervously.
"So what were you kids doing out here in Shibuya?" Mrs. Kambara asked.
"It's part of the soccer tournament right Takuya, we're meeting up with the rest of the team right now." Henry said quickly.
"Right we split up to different cities and are now meeting up again for the big competition." Takuya said.
"Oh well then have fun." Mrs. Kambara said.
"What a weird looking cat." Shinya said looking at Gatomon.
"Uh thanks she's a rare species.." Kari said.
"Believed to be a gift from the gods." Kouji butted in.
"And what a weird costume why would any kid want to walk around in that." Shinya said pointing to Guilmon who was growling as Takato tried to calm his partner down. "Shinya" Takuya yelled at his brother.
"He's on his way to party we all are, he decided to go as a dinosaur." Ken said.
"Sure whatever." Shinya said.
"Well we better get going nice to meet you all. Shinya have anything else to say to your brother?" Mrs. Kambara said. Shinya looked up and noticed Ken.
"Your Ken Ichijouji right?" He asked.
"Uh yeah that's me." Ken said unsure of what would happen next.
"So tell me, how does a genius like you end of hanging out with a loser like my brother?" Shinya asked.
"MOM" Takuya shouted.
"Um well" Ken said slowly trying to answer the question.
"Don't bother answering that Ken." Takuya snapped.
"Why are you hanging out with another girl, did you get sick of that Zoe chick already?" Shinya asked as he started laughing.
"MOM" Takuya shouted.
"Shinya that's enough." Mrs. Kambara said. The boy looked at his mom then continued laughing hysterically.
"I'm sorry. He's usually not that rude. We'll go now." Mrs. Kambara said then dragged the boy away with her.
"Sorry guys I didn't think we run into my mom and brother, if I did I would have warned you about him." Takuya said.
"Don't worry all kids are like that at age." Ken said.
"Hey speak for yourself." Kari said.
"Come on let's just get in the elevator." Takuya said pressing the down button. The door opened and the kids climbed in with the door closing behind them.
"Ok now what?" Michael asked.
"Well, I don't know" Takuya answered nervously.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Wills asked.
"He means we only did this once, plus we had cellphones not digivices at the time." Kouji answered.
"Not to mention we were brought here from a mysterious message on our phone." Kouichi added.
"Great so we crammed into an elevator for nothing?" Terrior asked.
"Relax I'm sure they'll figure somethng out right guys." Henry said. THe three boys nodded in agreement.
"So any idea on what to do?" Takuya asked.
"Maybe if we hold our digivices to the elevator button..." Kouji said.
"What good would that do?" Takuya asked.
"Guys." Ken said noticing the digivices started to glow.
"I don't know it was just a suggestion." Kouji snapped back.
"Guys." Willis said a little louder.
"Well it was a dumb one." Takuya retorted.
"Don't call my brother dumb." Kouichi said.
"I didn't call him dumb, I said his plan was dumb." Takuya stated.
"Same difference." Kouichi said.
"I don't see you coming up with anything." Kouji stated at Takuya .
"GUYS" Everyone in the elevator shouted.
"WHAT?!" The arguing trio asked.
"Look at your digivices." Willis said. THe boys looked down to see the digivices glowing.
"What's going on?" Henry asked.
"Not sure."Kouji said taking a closer look at it. The light grew brighter and a loud crashing noise came outside the elevator.
"What was that?" Kari asked as the elevator came to a stop. The elevator moved again this time rapidly falling to the ground.
"I don't remember this happening." Takuya shouted as the group started screaming. The kids and digimon found themselves falling to the ground. Soon the elevator stopped falling and the door opened up with a ding.
"Are we dead?" Takato asked as he opened his eyes. He and the group found themselves tangled up in each other on the floor of the elevator.
"No I think we're still alive." Henry responding. It took a few seconds for everyone to untangle themselves, and get up to look around.
"Where are we?" Kari asked.
"We did it. We're back." Takuya cheered along with the twins who exchanged high-fives.
"Guys welcome to the trailmon terminal." Kouji said.
"Oh wow." Willis said. Everyone looked around at the trailmons parked in the terminal.
"Sweet right?" Takuya asked.
"Yeah so which one leads us to the digital world?" Kari asked.
"Anyone we want." Takuya answered.
"Which one will get us where we need to go?" Lopmon asked.
"Again they all stop anywhere we want them to." Takuya said.
"Cool." Willis said.
"Come on." Takuya said leading the group to one of the trailmons.
"Let's take worm he'll take us to the fire terminal." Kouji suggested.
"Good idea maybe we'll see Bokomon and Neemon again." Takuya said.
"Uh what are you guys talking about?" Takato asked.
"We're hoping to meet up with some friends in the digital world.
"Would they be able to help us?" Henry asked.
"Don't worry they can." Kouichi said.
"Can they fight?" Takato asked.
"Uh no." Takuya answered.
"That's stupid." Takato mumbled.
"What was that?" Kouji asked.
"Uh" Takato started before being cut off by Kari.
"So if they can't find what do they do?" She asked quickly.
"They provide us information and help us get to where they need to be." Kouji answered.
"That could be useful." Ken said.
"It is." Kouichi said.
"Can they digivolve?" Henry asked.
"No." Kouji answered.
"Lame" Terriomon coughed.
"Come on guys let's go." Takuya said leading the kids to a red trailmon.
"What now?" Willis asked.
"Hey Trailom think you can give us a lift?" Takuya asked.
"Sure where to?" Trailmon asked.
"Fire Terminal." Kouji answered.
"No problem Trailmon said opening the doors to its carts.
"Cool." Everyone said. They all climbed in and sat down.
"This is cool." Kari said.
"Definately better than a digiport." Ken said.
"Or crawling down a hole." Michael said.
"So this is how you guys went." Kouichi mused.
"You didn't go with them when the others went?" Michael asked.
"He joined the team later, remember." Kari said.
"Oh right." Michael said.
"Wait so if you didn't travel to the digital world how did you meet them later? Did you go the same time they did and got lost or did you leave after them?" Ryo asked.
"No I missed the train the others went on." Kouichi said.
"So you jumped on a different train and joined them?" Willis asked.
"No I didn't." Kouichi answered.
"Then how did you?" Ken asked.
"I fell down the stairs." Kouichi answered.
"Ok now I'm lost." Kari said.
"When I fell down the stairs I was knocked unconscious. Cherubimon came to me and offered me the spirit of darkness. I took it and became Duskmon. I fought the digidestines until they helped me realize what I was doing was wrong. Ophanimon helped me and I was given Lowemon as my spirit of darkness. When Lucemon tried to destroy the world I gave my spirits to Kouji and returned to the real world where I was rushed to a hospital and put on life support and almost died." Kouichi explained. The kids said nothing and just let their jaws dropped to the floor except for Kari, Ken, Kouji and Takuya who already knew the story.
"Whoa." Michael said.
"It's also how Kouichi joined his team." Kari said.
"Hey not as as Ken." Takato said.
"TAKATO" the team screamed causing the train to come to a halt. THe kids were thrown back from the sudden stop.
"What was that for?" Willis asked.
"Sorry thought you kids needed to get off." Trailmon said.
"Why would we need to?" Kouichi asked.
"Yeah we're only half way there." Takuya said.
"Sorry my bad." Trailmon said as he starting to move again.
"So where were we?" Willis asked. Takato thinking Ken did worse than Kouichi." Henry answered.
"Oh right." Willis said.
"I think it's both equal. I mean they were enimies with their friends at one point but were able to over come it join the team become our friends and get us to where we are today." Kari said.
"She is right without your help we wouldn't have defeated Lucemon and Cherubimon." Takuya said.
"Even though they're back now ready to kill us?" Kouichi asked.
"Yeah but now we're a stronger team with these guys helping us." Kouji said pointing to the others.
"You've also been a great help too." Kari said to Ken.
"Thanks." He said. The train came to a hault and the doors opened.
"Well guys we're here. The fire terminal." Takuya said as they stepped onto the platform.
Another chapter done. This story and several of the others I have been working the past few years won't be updated as often as I used to, due to school and newer stories that have been posted.
