Hey all! And I gotta say right now real quick that I have watched the Sonic Movie 2 (like many of you have) and wow, it was such an experience that not only I enjoyed but it has changed my entire point of view on how I've been writing Movie Sonic in this fic and the plans I had for him in the story...

Don't sweat about it, on to the story!

"Knuckles? What are you-".

"Where are we? And... you are Tails right?" the echidna asked puzzled about the three foxes in the room. Tails was about to answer his question but stopped in surprise at someone else coming through the portal.

"Ray?"

"Hi, Tail...ses? Long time no see".

Tails was once again going to answer but the final contender walked in.

"Sonic?"

The Sonic reacted 'accordingly' after seeing the triple Tails' in the room but also smiled rubbing his nose finding the situation he was in quite funny.

"Whoa, are you really Knuckles?" asked Boom Tails.

"Tails." the echidna said repeating his question "What's happening?"

"There's no way to soften it, would you like a seat?"

The situation was explained and the only questions Knuckles had, were also the same Tails had like 'why did multiple sonics come in?' or something like that. He and Ray were carefully paying attention to what he was explaining while the newly arrived Sonic was lying down on the floor resting against a wall while half-listening to the conversation. Now it was time for Tails to ask the questions.

"What are you guys doing? How did you get here?"

Knuckles pulled out the Warp Ring.

"Huh? How do you know about this place?"

"We don't!" Ray added, "It only works when you're looking for Sonic, no matter the place!"

"When you're looking for Sonic? Why?"

"That's what I want to find out," continued Knuckles looking at the ring "It was his idea to come here," he said referring to Sonic with him only replying with an ear-twitch but still resting "Where is Sonic? Our Sonic... you say he wasn't here?"

"Well, New Mobotropolis is currently under attack, he should be there... Wait, why were you looking for Sonic anyway?"

"Eh, forget it," Sonic interrupted grinning without getting off the floor "You sound like the Tails I'm used to," now he got up "Does this world have an old man you can always rely on when it comes to helping you in how the world works?"

"That's a little too specific-" said Ray.

"Heh, you also have one of those?" Archie Sonic commented, who had just entered the room "Enjoying the show so far?" he asked to his counterpart.

"I'm used to going into other worlds… Nice to see I'm still looking as good as ever no matter where".

"Feelings shared… ever heard of Spagonia? A good friend of ours from there can come in handy when it comes to.. what you said".

"Eh, never heard it".

"Don't think we know too much about it," Tails explained "Just that it exists".

"You're the Sonic the ring was sensing?" asked Knuckles to Archie with curiosity.

"Maybe… Hey Knux".

"This place you're talking about, are you sure it is reliable?"

"Well, he was for us during our last adventure but-".

"Then that's where we're going," he said tossing the Warp Ring to Archie Sonic "Lead the way".

"What?"

"Me, Ray, and… Sonic are working on an important mission and it appears we need your help".

"Uh, well, you see I really shouldn't move around too much".

"Actually Sonic, maybe you should go," suggested Archie Tails "After all, if another Sonic is involved then you should check it… If something bad happens, you can always return here the same way they did".

The room went quiet for a moment and it was Boom Tails who broke it talking to the new Sonic.

"I got it! X!" he said enthusiastically.

"Huh?"

"X. A name to differentiate the Sonics, he's Archie, I'm Boom and you can be X… it does fit you".

X looked a bit confused but more surprised than anything.

"Don't ask him where the names come from" Archie Tails added.

"Eh, don't worry… I think I get it".

"Yeah, I'm going," Archie Sonic said finally making up his mind "B-Tails, are you coming?"

"Me? I'm not used to that Kn-… the Sky Patrol should be almost ready, better to speed up the process right?"

"Uh, sure!"

Knuckles silently handed the ring to Archie, instructed him what to do and he did it, with a portal opening in front of everybody with Ray going in first, then X, then Archie, and finally the echidna.

"Knuckles…" Tails called with him stopping to look at him "Good luck".

Knuckles sighed "Thanks" he went through and the portal closed, leaving the room in another short silence.

"That's your Knuckles?!" Boom Tails said.

"Yeah, he is…"

"I don't think I've ever seen him like… that".

Tails was the only one currently in the room who knew what happened to the echidna and he wanted to ask about it but decided not to. Although he had a feeling the 'important mission' Knuckles talked about was about that.

"Us either" he replied.

As the entire town looked up at a Death Egg falling away, it was clear that the threat was diverted. Silver lowered Prime using his telekinesis along with the two currently offline Mecha Sally's.

"Finally decided to show up?" Prime asked the little Sonic also surprised –but glad- at his appearance.

"Yeah, and the other one left," he said with a hint of worry but also confused by it "Had to stop the plane".

Prime looked away and saw the crashed Tornado and he was visibly in shock and concerned about what happened.

"Sonic, listen to me!" Silver called out still trying to tell him something "I really know who the traitor is!"

One death stare from Sonic was enough for Silver to realize that he should explain himself better instantly.

"Wait! I know, I know! I've made mistakes, I know! But-… wait, two Sonics?"

"Yeah, and two Sally's in case you're wondering" he replied with a mocking tone but Silver didn't pay attention to this but was instead puzzled, looking at the two Mecha Sally's he was keeping down and he appeared to be rather confused about it.

"But I… if… then maybe-"

A loud crash was heard from the outside which meant that the Death Egg was officially down.

"We'll still have to deal with that," stated Prime "What do you want to say?" he turned back to Silver.

"Right, it's just that-".

Another interruption, this one being from the apparition of a face they wanted to see, and that was from Sonic who had returned from wherever he'd been.

"Hey Silver, hey guys, miss me?"

A half-death stare from Prime and crossed arms from little Sonic was enough to show that they weren't happy about it.

"Yeah… something came up" he replied to the inexistent question with remorse.

"And what exactly came up?"

Sonic looked at his hand taking a deep breath and thinking to himself "Something that shouldn't have".

Before Prime could get pushier, a friendly face showed up attempting to break the tension, the best thing she was good at.

"Hey, Sonic! Long time no see!"

"Tangle?"

"That's me! And- wow! What a thing you did up there… you are the Sonic I know, right?" she reached for an elbow-hug but Sonic avoided it which just confused the lemur.

"You two know each other?" asked little Sonic.

"Do we ever!"

"Sonic," Prime said, who wasn't fazed by the newcomer "What happened up there?" he wasn't angry or anything, just concerned that could be something else.

Now, the group was quite focused on their little discussion that they were not aware of the crowd that had begun to form around them just watching in awe at the sight of three Sonics, two Mecha Sally's and kinda just watching their conversation like any crowd would with Silver the one who first noticed it.

"Guys?"

Everyone looked at the people around them in awkwardness.

"Hey!" someone from the crowd called with a path opening to reveal who it was and from it, a badger walked out carrying someone that Sonic was quite familiar with.

"Mighty?" with surprise but shock, Prime approached the one who was carrying him, looking at him "Silver! You can start helping by taking the Mecha Sally's to Rotor and take Mighty away".

"Um, right!" replied Silver, quickly doing what was told.

"Where did you find him?" asked Prime to Sticks.

"Oh, he was in the big ship we just helped knock down… off-camera may I add…"

"Who's we?" added Tangle asking for everyone.

"Oh, right, that guy wasn't the only one I saved," she said with a sense of pride and right after she said it, a voice -also from the crowd- called out.

"Sonic?" Sonic asked with the three present Sonics looking at him, after a few seconds of analyzing the situation, he couldn't help but smile at it "You're all Sonics?" he said zooming through them "You're small, and… and you…"

"Why are your arms different?" little Sonic asked with curiosity.

"Um… why are you small?" he replied also curious about it "Are you the youngest?"

Prime decided to let the newly-arrived hedgehog keep engaging but he returned his focus to Sonic.

"Sonic, you and your friend can wait for me at Freedom HQ… I'm gonna have to clean some things here".

Suddenly a wicked and loud laugh was heard from everywhere that put everyone on a high alert trying to figure out where it was coming from looking all around them, and then, a raspy voice came through that no one recognized.

"Finally! Free at last!" a yellow bolt shot up from the spot where the Death Egg crashed and everyone got a glimpse and what was it, something yellow that was floating in the air. The people around also saw it and some even retreated slowly in fear. From the ground, it was difficult to see who he was or what was his reaction, but it soon became clear that it had a resemblance to Sonic and the yellow color couldn't be a coincidence.

As all eyes were on the unmoving being, the anticipation grew but the sensation went from anticipation to alert as it came flying directly at the gathered Sonics but headed specifically to the little Sonic, he reacted to this by pulling out a guitar -that no one could even guess as to where it came from- but it was too slow as the yellow being just grabbed him and swooped to the sky again before anyone could do anything.

And in this predicament, Sonic could see that this being was none other than Sonic… or at least that's what one could make off of it, he was yellow with quills pointing upwards and red eyes that went in a spiral, this probably being his most signature feature.

"You think you could trap me in there forever, didn't you?!"

While Sonic was struggling to get free from him, 'yellow-Sonic' felt a sudden realization and looked below him watching more than one Sonic and becoming confused followed by an ever-increasing pain in his hand which he was holding Sonic, causing him to eventually let him go, looking once again at the crowd below him and speeding away from the scene.

"I got him!" said 'the newbie Sonic'but upon grabbing his falling look-alike, he was also met with a similar pain that also made him drop, except that with less damage once he hit the ground "What?!"

"Thanks for the help…" little Sonic replied with a hint of sarcasm and him still being on the ground.

There were lots of questions that everyone had at the moment, the Sonics, their partners, and the people around them but the one that was in everyone's mind was 'what just happened?'

Bunnie slowly opened his eyes to find herself inside some sort of an underground home, it was a small room with only a table along with its chairs and the bed she was in, she remembered being tranquilized by what she assumed was a gang so right now she was in a high alert but nothing bout the situation gave out a sense of danger, in fact, after a few seconds, a female green armadillo entered her room and was simply surprised seeing Bunnie.

"Oh, you woke up… um, please wait here if you may," she said and left the room with nothing more making the rabbot feel more at ease but still wondering about what was happening. After some minutes, an old-looking bunny with a cane and his right arm robotized which piqued her interest as well as raised her confusion.

"Glad to meet you… Bunnie" the bunny said politely.

"Should ah know you?"

"So that means you don't… Please, have a seat".

She accepted the offer.

"My name is Beauregard, I thought you should know that but it seems that you don't. You're still Bunnie, right?"

"Yeah, but how do you know? Who exactly are you?"

"That's because I'm your uncle, but I have a feeling that you're not the Bunnie I know… especially because the Bunnie I know is already here".

Now the conversation was going somewhere interesting, Bunnie remembered clearly that the Bunnie of this world was missing according to everyone else with an unknown destination but her being in this place made sense since the guy did say he was Bunnie's uncle.

"And where is she?" she asked after a few seconds of thought.

"She's coming here, but answer me this: If you are not the Bunnie I know, then where do you come from?"

Bunnie was about to reply but from the door, someone came through and it was none other than Bunnie herself.

Finally, I get to finish this! And sorry for taking so long! I've had so many good things happening lately, and I require to take care of the academic side of things but I'm always happy to bring you a new chapter and I'm kinda starting to hate myself for making this thing big in scopes 'cause the block can get real sometimes.

And holy smokes, these are a lot of Sonics. But anyways I hope this chapter was fun and I'll see you "soon"!
