Hello! I'm back! Not much to say here, let's read the story.

From the crash site of the Death Egg and to the surprise of not many, an Egg-Mobile came out with two lovely robots alongside and Eggman riding it, he was of course getting away but nothing about the situation indicated happiness, he had a plan and it was foiled again. However, this didn't mean that he had given up, far from it, there was still work to do.

Opening his eyes slowly, Mighty found himself in the bed of what looked to be a hospital room, the last thing he remembered was being trapped inside a capsule so this was a much better predicament. He tried to move around and there was little pain so it meant that nothing bad happened, he looked around the room examining the place only to be startled by a raccoon-looking girl being awfully close to him.

"Hello!" she said and paused for a while as she maintained eye contact "I'm the one who saved you… Name's Sticks".

The situation was awkward no doubt but Mighty still followed it as usual.

"I'm Mighty and uh, thanks, for rescuing me. Do you know where we are?"

"In a hospital".

"And I take the hospital is in a city".

"Correct".

"And the city is…?" he expected to hear an answer but it never came so he just let that question trail off, besides, he could probably already guess. Next, he got off the bed ready to head out before being stopped by Sticks once again.

"Are you Sonic's brother?"

"Um, no, we're just good friends".

"Are you a clone of him?"

"What?"

"I recognize a clone when I see it, but you don't look like one".

Confused, he continued to head to the exit, not knowing how to reply to what she was saying.

"Thanks for saving me but I, uh, should be somewhere else," he said -which wasn't a lie-, leaving the room. But of course, that wasn't going to stop the badger from following him through the hallways and continuing the interrogation.

"Are you an adventurer?"

"Sort of, yeah".

"And I guess you usually travel with someone else… And let me guess, you fight against Eggman as well?"

"-I was part of the Freedom Fighters after all".

This word seemed to pique Sticks' interest tremendously.

"Part of what?"

As Bunnie paced around her room waiting for what was gonna happen, a lot of thoughts began racing through her head regarding the Bunnie situation in this world, she had one theory, one theory that she believed was the only way because after all, she could be the only who could know how Bunnie was feeling. After a few minutes, Boom Sonic entered the room along with T-Pup walking beside him.

"Hey! I think these guys already realized I'm not the Sonic they're familiar with, you should have seen them trying… People see one bandana and act as if I'm a weirdo, I mean, have you seen them?!"

"Yeah, ah have," she replied thinking about Bunnie's uncle, not hers and it wasn't anything shocking or anything, just curious "What about T-Pup? Did they do anything to him?"

"Nope, this little guy was with me the entire time… What happened to the fox-?"

"Coyote".

"Yeah, him".

There was a moment of silence as Bunnie was also wondering where Antoine was, but seeming as if they didn't treat anyone badly she wasn't afraid, just preoccupied.

"So… how did you two-? You know".

"Well, how do ya think?"

"Um, I dunno, my stories don't deal with those kinds of themes".

Bunnie let out a light smile.

"You're funny, quite different from the Sonic ah know, but since you asked, I can happily reply. As you can guess, ah wasn't born like this," she said while raising one of her legs "It happened after an attack from Eggman, and this was the only solution… It wasn' an easy moment but one by one, my friends made me feel that I wasn't an outcast you know? Tails, Sally, the Freedom Fighters, and well, Antoine. He was the one who made me feel that I was whole again- and, and if that was taken away from the Bunnie in this world…"

"Hm, are the Eggmen from you guys all like this? I have a different image of him".

"Believe me, it's better if your adventures don't involve any of this".

T-Pup barked at the door, getting the attention of the two of them as Antoine presented himself at the door, fully completing the trio.

"I do not like zis place at all," he said while sheathing his sword "These people don't seem to be very fond of me- I suggest we leave as soon as possible and proceed with the mission at hand".

"I agree with sword-guy," said Boom Sonic "This place is already- oh".

His self-interruption came after he saw who was at the door and it was none other than Bunnie, the other Bunnie of course, it was quite an awkward "confrontation" with Boom looking at Antoine, Bunnie looking at Bunnie, and Antoine looking back and forth between the two of them.

"He- he is not who you think he is," said Bunnie slowly.

"I know" she replied a bit down, looking at Antoine "I know he's not him".

"You're… robotized," Antoine replied also remembering what they were told "How-".

She didn't need to hear anything else, Bunnie walked away leaving the trio looking at each other wondering what to do.

"I think I should go talk to her," said Bunnie.

"Yeah," said Sonic with not a single hint of sarcasm "Nothing better than getting a pep-talk from you, sure, we'll wait".

And with that, the rabbit left the room but Antoine still had his questions unanswered and was quite confused about the situation. Sonic didn't know anything about this other Bunnie but also had a bit of curiosity.

"They told us she had run away," Antoine said trying to explain it to himself.

"That's what they know, many things can happen, and if she did run away then there must have been a reason…"

"Bunnie, wait!" she exclaimed, rushing to her counterpart who was walking away at a slow pace so it wasn't that hard to catch up.

"Please, don't follow me" she replied.

"Wait- I just wanna help ya!"

"No, Bunnie, you can't… you don't understand".

"Maybe, but we have like four Sonics and three Tails', surely we'll think on something, we are the Freedom Fighters after all".

In an instant, she realized that that last line was not the best she could have said as Bunnie's stare became different.

"The Freedom Fighters weren't enough," Bunnie began "I guess you already know it but Sally's gone, Antoine's gone, and Bunnie's gone… I made a choice here, and I can't go back, these implants I have now, they're legionized, it means they have explosives in them. This is an Eggman base after all".

She didn't know what to say, this was all new information to her.

"We can figure it out, that's why we got called here, just point us to the exit so we can regroup".

Bunnie shook her head and with her robotic arm, she pointed her primary weapon at her other self.

"Wha-?"

"I'm sorry," Bunnie replied with tears in her eyes "They don't like a D'Colette, Sonic, and a duplicate of myself on the loose, you have to understand why I can't let you go".

In the Sky Patrol, the main crew was just waiting to finally arrive back at New Mobotropolis, hoping to reunite with Sonic and sort everything out. The meeting with Knuckles raised more questions for Prime Tails than anything but assuming that once Archie Sonic returned things could be cleared and lo and behold, just as they were getting closer to their destination, a portal opened in the main lobby of the ship where the four of them had returned and it was X who opened the "speech".

"These rings can go to any place in the multiverse?" he asked with confusion as if he was asking to confirm something.

"Um, I think they do" Tails replied.

"Could they send us back to our worlds?" Archie followed.

"Theoretically…"

The two Sonics looked at each other with Knuckles and Ray listening from behind.

"Then it's probably broken," said X.

"Huh?"

"We tried it!" Ray entered the conversation "Doesn't seem to do that, only works with Sonic".

"We can return with Sonic in an instant if that's where you're heading," said Knuckles before closing the portal and catching the ring "But what can you tell us about chaos force?"

"Chaos Force?" Boom and Archie Tails had recently entered the room and managed to overhear a bit.

"Yeah, I'm not the best person to answer that question," replied Tails "Although I do have some experience with it, but the best way to describe it is how the Chaos Energy derivates from the Chaos Force itself, and well, that's how Sonic can go super but, why do you ask? Aren't you the one with the most experience on it?" he asked for Knuckles but it was X who replied for him.

"This whole situation could be fixed from it, is that right Knux?"

Knuckles nodded "Tails, do you know what caused all these Sonics to come here?"

"Well, I'm still trying to figure that one out, but we did have a plan of bringing an alternate Sonic to help us, we just didn't expect this many. I don't even know if we've found them all, although I believe that whatever Eggman was doing in the Death Egg had something to do with it".

The group stood quiet for some time until Archie Tails noticed something on the main screen.

"Hey, I think we're arriving! That's the place right?" and it was right, so the fox owner of the ship prepared everything for landing as they approached Freedom HQ.

Inside the said building, Wachowski Sonic was wandering around the place quite marveled now that he knew the context of the situation. It was interesting that the Sonic from this world 'lived' in a burrow -kind of-, was comforting to him. At the same time he was curious about lots of things, just seeing the lab upstairs was enough to wonder and wonder…

"Hello," said a shy voice coming from a kid entering the room "You're also Sonic, right?"

"The one… but not the only one" he replied still looking around checking the place, the kid looked as if he was going to say more but stopped himself once before speaking up.

"You don't know me, do you?"

Sonic trying his hardest to remember gave away that he did not know who he was.

"It's okay," Chris replied with his head down, looking away, and putting a hand in his face as he muttered to himself but audible enough "This is all my fault".

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Me and Sonic… he had to return to his world but I- I stopped him and-," his dialogue began to crack as tears formed in his eyes "It was wrong! I shouldn't have done that! I just didn't want to, I didn't want to be-".

"-Alone?" Sonic completed with a comforting smile that took Chris by surprise "You are friends with your version of Sonic, are you?"

Chris looked away again.

"A friend wouldn't stop another one from returning home, it was selfish of me to do that".

"Hey, if you were his friend, then I can be your friend!"

"Huh?" said Chris taken by surprise.

"If you can be friends with Sonic then why can't I be friends with…"

"Chris" he replied with a shy smile.

"Well, Chris, what do you say?"

A genuine smile from the kid confirmed it, however, there was something else that he remembered which made the smile vanish away.

"But you still need to go, all the Sonics need to return, otherwise the dimensions will collapse and weird stuff will happen to time, I think, at least that's what I remember".

That didn't sound good, a bit scary for sure, the pain he felt when touching another Sonic was proof that things were not okay, he got told this, but nothing about time getting weird from it, however, before he could process it further, they heard something else coming from outside that felt windy, like a ship that was landing nearby so naturally, they headed outside and -surprise- there was a huge ship that neither of them had seen.

From it, the first one to come out was a yellow fox Chris was well familiar with, the issue was that two more appeared out of the ship as well, enough to make you feel dizzy.

"Another Sonic?" said one of them.

"Wait, no- hey, it's the one who was fighting against Metal!" replied another one.

"Yeah, he is..! Who's the kid though?"

"Um, my name is Chris," he answered "I know you're Tails but, does everyone in the multiverse looks the same?"

"I look something different" Boom Tails replied adjusting his goggles.

More people came down from the ship, this time being Amy and Rotor, along with Mighty.

"I heard there was a fight in the city," asked Prime Tails to the Sonic present "I suppose you were successful, right?"

"Yeah, I was stuck in a bubble during it but there was this badger girl that got me out of that thing".

"Wait, you mean Sticks?" Boom Tails said shocked.

Finally, the final members came from the ship, these being the two Sonics along with Knuckles and of course Tom with his bandaged arm despite Amy suggesting some rest. And of course, the surprise for some was immediate.

"Chris?"

"Sonic?" Chris answered knowing that this was his Sonic "Sonic!" he ran toward him with full intent on hug-tackling but stopped at the last moment to avoid falling.

"Hey! I'm also happy you're okay," Sonic replied "I can see you've done alright in this world," he said with a proud smile.

Chris also smiled at this statement, he was relieved he was finally reunited with his respective Sonic. However, he wasn't the only Sonic in reunions as Tom and his Sonic were also together at last although, unlike the other pair, these two were a bit more roughed up but not less happy about the situation.

"You sure you're okay?" asked Tom.

"Heh, I don't think you're the one to talk… are you okay?".

Tom sighed with a smile "Yeah could have been better, remember the last time I got thrown off a building, I'm not used to these games, especially with these other versions of you, you know".

Sonic looked at the other two Sonics that had arrived who also looked at him with curiosity, just as always, and he smiled back still trying to understand all of this.

"Yeah, it's different… I'm glad you're here, Tom".

"So am I," he smiled "But now-".

"Do you know where Sonic is?" Prime Tails asked, "I mean, the Sonic that is from this world?"

Both Chris and Sonic shook their head as Knuckles looked at the ring and raised an eyebrow. However, the "Sonic from this world" was currently facing one of his most persisting foes and definitely one of the most annoying one: politics.

Oh man, i do love watching everything come together instead of having 20 plot-points to take care of at the same time. Setting this place in the Archie-verse was a huge risk that I was aware but only now i can see how much it's affecting it, still I have a laid plan of the story but lots of real life things to take care of plus other stories I'm also writing.
