I have ever seen in my whole life that you are the potential to this army. The perks of being a half-vampire is more benefit for you to train yourself. Don't overdo it if you feel that way. Be that person that you would find within yourself.

On the ground floor, Maxima was training herself with Elizabeth's brother, Luke. They fought with the karate style but mixed arts of boxing and karate. It was hard to strike on each other before they knew the move they made. But Maxima had the advantage of using her forecast vision on the future moves. Luke didn't have that technique but was able to block her stances through the sparring.

Frost and Korsak went back to their room after touring with Maxima. They felt exhausted after taking sight of the building. The men decided to take a nap for an hour. Maxima was pleased with the men's questions through the building's entrance and exit.

Maxima was focusing on her right hook to get it to him. But Maxima diverted her hearing to the footsteps from the third floor, which resided in Jane and Maura's room. Also, it was occupied by Maura's parents. It happened when Maxima missed seeing the front thrust kick from Luke, and she fell on the mat.

"Max, you seem to be distracted. What's up?" Luke spoke up after they ceased the fight. Maxima looked up at the muscular man that happened to be Elizabeth's brother. She chuckled.

"I heard the footsteps from the third floor. I suspect that was Maura." "Oh, the sexy honey blonde doctor happened to be look-alike to our doctor?"

"Yes, that's her daughter." Maxima dropped two cents into a conversation as they walked to the elevators for showers on the second floor.

"Shit! No joke?"

"Nope. But I am sure that her best friend takes Maura. Did you see their chemistry?"

"Oh yeah! I've seen that tall brunette woman before. She is protective of her. What's her name? She looks familiar to me." Luke replied before taking a towel from the shelves when they entered the room to get some showers. Maxima got used to the co-ed showers since she was placed with Elizabeth for the first time.

"Jane Rizzoli."

"That's her. The famous Charles Hoyt tragedy." Luke exclaimed before using the loofah and soap to wash his body. Maxima raised her eyebrow at him across the wall between them while washing her body with a loofah sponge back scrubber.

"How do you know it was her, Lu?" The nickname Maxima gave him was a cute one. Luke smiled at her and explained.

"I heard over the news about her. She was the youngest one which Jane was promoted to be the best detective. You guided the older man around in here. That is Vince Korsak, who used to be Jane's partner. Now, you saw the young black man with you. That's Jane's new partner."

"You know a lot about them."

"Yes, try reading the news. Jane is an expert at solving crimes. No one beat her by finding the truth behind the crimes. I mean, she had the best record of investigating crimes. But Jane has the best team since the Hoyt case. Maura joined right after Jane became the detective. I assume that they are a couple since the beginning." Luke brought it up when he finished with his shower.

Maxima nodded before finishing her shower. Then, they went apart to get dressed before getting a call from Patrick.

Meanwhile, on the third floor, Maura woke up from her nap, and Jane was in her thoughts about the conversation with Patrick and Hope. The honey-blonde doctor rubbed her eyes and yawned before looking at her best friend.

"Jay?"

"Oh, hi. You woke up. Feel better, Maur?"

"No. Still digested from the conversation with my biological parents."

"I understand, Maur. I mean, they didn't tell you when they had a chance before something happened to them." Jane got up from the bed. Maura nodded to agree with her. The silence took in the room before Rosalie knocked on the door. Jane opened the door and immediately recognized her face from the sparring room.

"Rosalie."

"Jane and Maura. Good nap?"

"Yes, I did," Maura replied with a smile. Rosalie nodded before continuing with her presence.

"I have your parents, the Isles. They are waking up. I think it is nice to let you know and if you would like to see them now?"

"Wait a minute? Arthur and Constance are here?" Jane asked. Rosalie looked at her before nodding. Maura got up quickly and requested to be taken to see them immediately. Jane followed them along until they reached the room where the Isles stayed next door.

Maura and Jane barged into the room to see Constance and Arthur hugging each other with their tears. The parents gasped when they looked at their daughter. Jane stayed behind and pushed Maura to embrace her parents. Maura started to cry when she saw her parents being alive. Constance smiled at her and opened her arms. Arthur rubbed his hand on his wife's back.

Maura ran toward them and embraced her mother in a tight hug. Arthur closed his eyes while kissing on the honey-blonde doctor's head. Jane smiled and sent him a nod of hello. Rosalie tilted her head and whispered.

"What a sweet moment."

"Yes. It is. How did they get here?"

"Our watchers were with them at the time when it happened with Maura and y'all. Patrick ordered the watchers to take them out for safety. Arthur was in Europe and did his meeting at that moment when it happened. Constance was in New York City for the Art Gallery in Manhattan. It was lucky that Maxima was around in that area."

"Thank you for bringing her parents safe."

"Nah, try telling it to Patrick. He did it for them. I mean, he sacrificed his child to the parents who had no children or struggling to have the child on their own. I mean, I understand his empathy toward the Isles family because it was hard on them since they struggled to have their own bloodline on the child. But Maura came into their life after Patrick agreed with Hope to give up their child for the best chance of hiding her away." Rosalie explained.

Jane was having her mental acquisitiveness as her eyes watched the Isles family caressing their daughter. Her thoughts went to Maura's feelings about the parents who gave her up away to the Isles family and tilted her head to look at Constance and Arthur who happened to be reconciled with Maura. Jane just blurted it out to Rosalie.

"If Patrick and Hope didn't give her away to the Isles family, then what would happen to Maura?"

"She would die if they found her and salvaged her to the thirsty-blooded people like out there," Rosalie replied before looking at the brunette detective. Jane silently gulped and sent a prayer to God.

The moment of silence was broken by Jane. Rosalie silently chuckled at the brunette's awkwardness in the room. The Isles family finally looked at Jane and Riley. Constance gasped at the sight of Maura's best friend and exclaimed.

"Jane! I'm so relieved to see you! Are you all right?"

It made Jane grin at the oldest matriarch of Isles family and earned a respect for her since they first met. Maura finally felt at ease when she saw her best friend staying and comforted her adopted father in the embrace. Arthur sent Jane a nod of thanks for being staying with Maura. Jane caught his nod and waved her hand.

"I'm good. Rosalie told me that you guys just got away with the watchers before they caught you. Are you okay?"

"Oh, dear. I'm more okay for now. No scratches for me. What about you, Arthur?"

"I'm good but I think that I broke my left ankle when I sprinted with my watcher. Oh, do I need to thank my watcher since she saved my life?"

"No need to thank Veronica. She is back on duty since Patrick demanded the frontline. Colin is still out there. Maxima is still training the youngsters in the sparring room." Rosalie explained with a smile. Jane raised her eyebrows at her. Arthur sent her a soft smile before exhaling deeply. Constance nodded with understandings. Maura was happy that her adopted parents are safe with her for now.

Frost was taking his time to watch the tech gurus on his own. Korsak was still sleeping in his room. His thoughts took away from the sound of the footsteps behind him. Frost looked over his shoulder and saw Patrick entering the room like a king on the way to the castle.

"What's the play?" Patrick demanded a man who was in the front.

"Colin relayed the message to the watchers who are in the frontline. Sister Winifred was watching the highest coven in one of the popular locations - outside of the Irish Pub on Charles Street. Elizabeth is back in the ground but is following the two guys on her feet. It's the two guys from the Boston Police Department. She is making sure that everything is wiped from the beginning to the continuing trek."

Frost caught something in the conversation with Patrick and the tech guru. He decided to intervene in the dialogue with them. The young black detective was asking the question as he suspected that he knew the guys from his area.

"Who are the guys?"

The tech guru glanced at his boss and got a nod from Patrick. He complied to welcome Frost into their discussion.

"One man and one woman in the casual clothes. But Elizabeth can tell by the looks of their faces."

"Can she realize one of the guys?" Frost curiously opened.

"Let me get a second. She sent me a photograph of them." The tech guru mumbled before searching up for the trace number that Elizabeth sent him via the private satellite line. The photograph popped out on the big screen. It was Frankie Rizzoli with a woman beside him. They were in the warehouse before meeting Lieutenant Cavanaugh in the secret meeting.

"It's Frankie Rizzoli. Jane's youngest brother." Frost exclaimed. Patrick understood by looking at the photograph.

"Can Frankie come here without being detected? Can Elizabeth bring them here? I mean, Frankie is safe. Jane needs to tell them that she is okay without harm." Frost asked Patrick before pointing at the photograph of Frankie. Patrick was having some thoughts before nodding with his approval.

"Can you relay to Elizabeth that she needs to bring Frankie and that woman here without being detected? Throw any evidence they used." Patrick sent a tech guru to inform Elizabeth via the private satellite line. Frost was relieved but happy that Frankie was coming here and see that they are safe for now. He knew that jane was thrilled to have Frankie.

Maura decided to stay with her parents for a while and gathered some thoughts about having her as the daughter of the Isles Family but not the Doyle family. Jane understood and gave her some time alone. So, Rosalie gathered Jane back to the sparring room to watch Maxima shouting the defensive hits.

The brunette detective raked her long curls before walking with Riley to the bench. Maxima was speaking in a different language than Jane didn't realize and went ahead to ask Riley.

"What's the language Maxima speak?"

"It's an old language back in the 1600s. It did exist in the past but now, it was evolved over time. I don't know what that is, but you can ask Max later. So, want to spar with me? I need to work on my offensive hits."

"I don't want to get hurt because you are uhm... vampire?" Jane asked with a nervous smile. Rosalie laughed.

"Half-vampire and half-human. I can shift back to the human, and we can spar each other."

"Are you sure? I don't want someone to blame you and I don't have any clothes for it." Jane replied before agreeing with Rosalie.

"I'm sure. The clothes are in the closet in there." Rosalie nodded toward the wardrobe that is visible next to the equipment room. Jane thanked her and strode to get the clothes and saw the changing room which is next to the equipment room. It was at the same time when the youngster came out from the room with her casual clothes in the bag. Jane thought that the young teen was supposed to be new since Elizabeth, Colin, Patrick, Luke, and even Maxima collected on their journey back to the haven. Jane wanted to ask Rosalie why they collected the young teens but held it to herself later when she had a chance to have a casual talk.

Outside in Boston, Nina went into a shop for the burner phones with cash that she withdrew from the atm, not long time ago since they were on an undercover investigation. She understood that Frankie was frustrated with himself since he tried to figure out where to find her sister and others. Nina knew Jane Rizzoli over through the national news. Jane Rizzoli was the famous detective who survived through her tragedies twice with the same man, Charles Hoyt.

Nina was surprised that Frankie made it into the police academy while he was looking up at his sister for being his role model. Despite the nagging from his mother, it forced the matriarch of the Rizzoli family to feel tension about being a police officer in Boston. Nina felt empathy toward the mother of the Rizzoli family because it was the same experience Nina's family had with her when she was very young at the age of 22.

Nina enrolled the community college for a Criminal Justice degree and transferred to the University of Chicago for her master's degree in cybersecurity and law enforcement in Chicago Police Academy part-time. No one in her family was genius at last except Nina. She was a genius in her studies and passed as magma cum laude in her master's degree for cybersecurity. It was immediately after her graduation, Nina was drafted into Chicago Police Department and worked there for five years until she decided to move out for good.

Now, she was with her new partner, Frankie Rizzoli. She returned from the shop and peeked Frankie out in the lounge of the restaurant while window-watching. The door rang when she entered and sat down on the stool beside him. Nina gave a burner phone to him and spoke in a quiet whisper.

"Here is your burner phone. I have a lot of sims card that we can change it every time we call. It's cheaper that way than buying a burner phone more frequently. Do you agree?"

"Sure, let me call ma. I know my ma because she is worrying too much. Just hold the fort until we are ready to leave."

"Ok." Nina understood and waited. Frankie got off and walked to the men's bathroom. He dialed his mother on the burner phone while checking on the stalls if no one were there with him. Frankie locked the door and waited for the phone to beep.

"Hello?" It was his ma, Angela. Frankie gulped and spoke quietly.

"Hi, ma."

"Frankie! I'm so worried about you! Your Lieutenant Cavanaugh called me a few hours ago that you were out. Oh! Did you find your sister yet?"

"No, ma. But something's going on in the case. I can't tell you everything, but I am warned by Lieutenant Cavanaugh for doing this investigation. Also, I know that I want to tell you that you are to be careful when you go out and look out for yourself. Please tell Tommy too."

"Ok, baby. Please be safe and find your sister too. I'm praying for my babies to be safe. That's all I want. I love you." Angela trembled with a cry.

"Ma, I love you. I will find her and bring her home. Don't call this number. I will change the number every time I call. Don't tell everyone that you heard from me. Understood?"

"I understand."

"Good, you must stay at Maura's main house. I think it's safe than to stay in your guesthouse and I am sure that you have met Maura's pet?"

"Yes, I'm taking care of Bass. He looked scary when I came into her house. Anyway, I will stay here, and I can see the wine rack over there. So, be safe baby. I love you."

They hung up on each other. Frankie closed his eyes for a moment and exhaled deeply. He grasped the cell phone's sim card slot and bent the sim card. The sims card was thrown away in the trash as Frankie unlocked the door and walked out to seek Nina. He nodded to get ready. Nina got off the stool and walked out to their car.

But they didn't know that Elizabeth heard the conversation between Frankie and his mother. She got a telepathy message via satellite line. It said that Elizabeth was requested to bring Frankie and Nina to the warehouse immediately. She sent them a message that she is obeyed to do it.

During the sparring time, Rosalie smirked at Jane's deep exhales, and they wrangled with their best punches and kicks. Korsak appeared and sat on the bench. Luke joined him too. The youngsters sat in the circle and watched the ladies sparring each other.

Maxima held her breath as she watched Jane taking a jab punch toward Rosalie's right cheek, but Rosalie quickly dodged it. Then Jane threw a heel kick to flip Rosalie upside down. Her sweating got her to feel dirty, but Rosalie took a fall on the floor and went to get up. Rosalie took Jane's right arm and flipped her onto the floor. Maxima cringed when Jane felt a pop on her back.

Jane rolled around then got up and ran toward Rosalie. She took an uppercut punch toward Rosalie's face. But it blocked her hit and Rosalie trapped Jane's punch and twirled her around then used a forward shoulder roll. Jane stayed there on the floor and took a deep exhale.

"Are you giving up yet?" Rosalie questioned with a smirk while she was looking down at Jane. Korsak was shocked that Jane lost the sparring. Luke was smiling at Rosalie and applauded for her to win the fight.

"Nah, but next time. Help me up."

Rosalie nodded and extended her hand for Jane to get up. They shook hands. Maxima voiced.

"That's how they sparred each other. The class is dismissed." The youngsters went to the showers and got to get ready for dinner. Maxima walked to the ladies and looked at Jane.

"You're not bad at this one. Why not to join my class and learn new techniques? It's the best way to do that if you fight against half-half or pure vampire."

"I think Frost and I would like that. I'm not sure if Maura wants that but I know her. She would join us as well."

"What about me, Janie!?" Korsak shouted from the bench. Luke chuckled. Jane looked at him with a confusing look and rebutted back.

"Are you sure that they would get you in one second to fall onto the floor before you start?"

"Never mind, I am sticking with the gun for now."

"Guns and any weapons do not work to those kinds." Luke gave him a look and smiled. Korsak was confused but reminded himself to ask Maxima about it.

"Oh! Maxima. I noticed that you have no weapons such as guns and all of that? Why is that?"

"Because those guns and weapons are worthless to kill all of our kinds. You must make a unique homemade gunpowder and all of that. We cannot find anything, but I suspect that the Highest Coven have it."

"I'm sure." Rosalie said. Jane swept a towel on her face and asked.

"Homemade gunpowder? Like what?"

Korsak and Luke walked toward them and listened to Maxima's voice. Rosalie crossed her arms and waited.

"I don't know. But I think that Patrick knows about this one because he was taken away to the Highest Coven and saw everything in there. I'm not sure how it worked. But I heard someone got killed by a gunpowder. It smelt like sulfur or something chemical. It was stronger to kill our kinds. For half-half, they overcome everything to stay alive. I mean, the pure vampires can kill by those homemade gunpowder and other weapons." Maxima explained before pushing Jane and Rosalie to the elevators.

"What about the humans?" Luke asked.

"They can be killed within one second when they target you. Jane, you stink. Get a shower. Rosalie, you are too. I got a message from Patrick. He needs to see you immediately."

"Ok, Maxima." Rosalie nodded and went immediately. Jane chortled before going to the second floor for a shower. Korsak walked with Maxima about more information on the weapons and everything. Luke followed them along.

"Hello Patrick, you need to see me?" Rosalie found Patrick in the tech room beside Frost watching the big screen. Patrick nodded and looked at her. Frost did same but greeted her with a smile.

"Rosalie, you are to be requested by Lucien Ransley. He told me that he needs to see you immediately. But you have to be careful out there."

"Lucien? I met him back in Virginia. What's going on?" Frost voiced with some concerns. Patrick smiled at him and continued.

"His headquarters were found and destroyed. But the members of Resistance that I sent them the tasks of being a superior were luckily fleeing."

"Is he ok?" The young black detective asked.

"Yes, he is. He sent me the coordinates, so you have to go get him and bring him back here immediately without being detected." Patrick ordered Rosalie with a glare. Rosalie nodded before giving a smile to Frost and left the room. Frost was in his thoughts for few minutes and voiced.

"We saw him like in 48 hours ago and we escaped to get here. How is it possible?"

"I think someone is spying on us." Patrick mumbled before looking at Frost. He finally realized that they were in danger.

"I can feel it in my bones. So, the battle is coming." The vampire looked at Frost and said in finality. Frost felt a shiver as he watched Patrick leaving the room.
