Drake dashed towards the Grimm with Yamato in hand. He slashed the first Beowolf he came close to in half and proceeded to outmaneuver and kill the other Beowolves. Weiss was stunned silent watching Drake basically slaughter the Grimm. He was like an angel of death, striking quickly but precisely and leaving no chance for his enemies to react. After striking the last Beowulf down, Drake sheathed Yamato and turned to Weiss.
"I would love to chat further but it seems like you need to find that partner of yours," Drake said. "I hope to see you at Beacon, my fair lady."
He then walked through the bushes and disappeared from sight as Weiss stood there speechless with a blush across her face making her redder than a tomato.
"That guy…" She thought. A red blur suddenly appeared in front of her.
"Remnant to Weiss, Remnant to Weiss do you copy?" Ruby said, waving her hand in front of Weiss.
Weiss returned to her senses. "Please remove your hand from my face, you dolt!"
Meanwhile, in another region of the Emerald Forest, Yang Xiao Long was walking and looking around.
"Helloooooooo?" Yang called out and missed seeing a shadow quickly pass by.
"Is anyone out there? Helloooo?" She continued before stopping and raising her arms. "I'm getting bored here!"
She heard a rustling in the bushes behind her and turned, slowly getting on guard.
"Is someone there?" She asked. The rustling continued as Yang went over and peaked inside. "Ruby, is that you?"
A low, inhuman growl was heard, and Yang's head rose up as she stared at the creature.
"Nope!"
Yang quickly rolled to the side as an Ursa charged out of the green. She gets up and activates her Ember Celica, staring at the monster before another Ursa runs out behind her. She leaped over it, and its companion ran at her again, only to get knocked back by a fiery punch. The other Ursa and Yang charge at each other, and Yang manages to get under it and deliver several punches and a kick to send the creature back.
"You guys wouldn't happen to have seen a girl in a red hood, would you?" The Ursai merely growl at her. "You could just said No."
One of the Ursai stands on its legs and swipes at her twice, Yang barely dodged its attacks.
Yang laughed "Geeeez, you two couldn't hit the broad side of a ba…"
Before she could complete her insult, a single strand of her golden hair fell in front of her face and landed silently on the forest floor.
"You..." Yang closes her violet eyes, then opens them up to reveal them having turned crimson red, making the Ursai look at each other confusedly before she screamed. "You monster!"
An inferno surrounded Yang for a moment, and she rocketed forward, unleashing a devastating combo of flaming hits and blows on the offending Ursa, making it fly through several burning trees. The other monster ran over, but stopped short at Yang's gaze while a tree fell to the ground behind her.
"What! You want some, too?!" Yang growled.
The Ursa rears up and prepares to strike... right when a whirring noise was heard and the monster made a befuddled noise, falling down a second later to reveal Blake Belladonna with her Gambol Shroud in the beast's back.
Yang panted in exhaustion while Blake recalled her weapon back to her hand, sheathing it on her back and smiling to herself.
"I could've taken him," Yang said, having calmed down as Blake sighed and rolled her eyes.
At the same time in another part of the forest, Drake was wandering the forest while keeping his senses sharp for any Grimm.
"I need to keep an eye out for my teammates." He thought. Suddenly he heard movement heading towards his position. Silently withdrawing Yamato from its sheath he prepared for a fight however his wariness evaporated when he saw that it was Ollie.
"Oh, it's you, Drake."
"It would appear we're partners now."
"Yay!"
Elsewhere Momonga was alone and searching for other people. He suddenly received a vision and found his consciousness in a realm of white light where he saw Arceus in front of him.
"Greetings Momonga Parker." Arceus said.
"Arceus?"
"I am Arceus," Arceus confirmed. "I am here to tell you that I have chosen you to become a Pokemon Trainer."
"Why me?" Momonga asked. "And why now of all times?"
"I chose you because you are pure of heart and possess potential."
"Alright then...If that's the case, I won't let you down!" Momonga said.
"I have a feeling you will do great," Arceus said. "The first Pokemon you have to capture are in the Emerald Forest, they are Pikachu, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur."
"Alright, I guess it's time to catch them all!" Momonga said enthusiastically.
"That I have no doubt. Good Luck."
There was a flash and Momonga found himself back in the Emerald Forest. On the ground was a set of Pokemon Balls and a Pokedex. He picked them up and stored the extra Pokeballs in his pocket dimension.
"Let's get started." He said and using the Pokedex he began to track the Pokemon. After a few moments, he discovered Pikachu. However, a problem presented itself when he found that Pikachu was being cornered by a pack of six Beowolves.
"Looks like the little guy could use some help."
Equipping the Mark III Iron Man Armor, Momonga charged at the Beowolves. The Grimm quickly noticed Momonga and rushed at him. Their attacks were easily blocked by Momonga's armor and Momonga retaliated by punching and blasting the Beowolves attacking him. The Beowolves were blasted apart by the Repulsor Beams. After finishing off the last Beowolf by tearing off its head, Momonga unequipped the armor and returned it to his pocket dimension.
"You're safe now buddy," Momonga said to the Pikachu, who slowly approached him as it sensed he wasn't a threat. Giving the Pikachu head pats, Momonga took out his Pokeball. "Do you want to join me on my journey?"
"Pika Pika!" Pikachu said in agreement.
"Awesome," Momonga replied and threw the Pokeball at Pikachu. The Pokeball opened and captured Pikachu before rolling to a stop, it was a successful capture.
"Great!" Momonga said. After this, he successfully discovered and captured the remaining Pokemon.
"Mission complete."
"Hey, Momonga!" Toshi called out as he appeared out of some bushes accompanied by Ren Smith and Yuki.
Turning towards them Momonga replied, "Glad to see you guys here. I guess we're gonna be a team at Beacon."
"Yup. I also got a telepathic message from Kamikaze that he, Ben, Alma, and Arcee formed a team." Ren Smith said.
"I see so I guess only Drake, Travis, and Ollie are left to form a team. I wonder who will be their fourth member?" Momonga said.
Drake and Ollie were traveling around the forest and coming across hordes of Grimm as they went by. They utterly destroyed the Grimm whenever they encountered them with Yamato and the Infinity Blade claiming the lives of many Grimm. Eventually, they came upon Travis who was battling an Alpha Ursa. Ollie moved to assist but Drake stopped him.
"No need to interfere."
Travis nimbly dodged every swipe from the Alpha Ursa, taunting the Grimm every time it missed him. The Grimm eventually tired and seizing the opportunity Travis summoned the Infinity Sword and slashed the Ursa in half with a single swing.
"Nice try Yogi Bear but I am too much for you."
"Nice job Travis!" Ollie said as Travis turned to see his friends.
"Oh, hey guys."
Drake nodded. "Now that we've found Travis, every member of Team Infinity is accounted for."
"But we're one person short for our team at Beacon," Travis noted.
"Trust me, I am well aware," Drake replied with a sigh.
"Hey, maybe our fourth member will wind up falling out of the sky," Ollie suggested as Drake and Travis looked at him weirdly. "Hey, it was just a suggestion."
Immediately after Ollie said those words they heard an impact behind them.
"Owww." A mysterious voice groaned.
Travis and Drake looked at Ollie, Travis had a flabbergasted expression on his face while Drake had raised his eyebrows quizzically. Ollie merely smiled proudly to himself.
The mystery individual stumbled out of the bushes slightly dizzy. They were revealed to be a girl, she was a tall, buxom teen with long curly red hair, violet eyes, a straight nose, and pale skin. She was dressed in a red tank top underneath a black leather jacket, jeans with a ruby sash above it, and jet black knee-high long boots. She also had a plain black bandana.
"That is the last time I will try skydiving." She grumbled holding her head.
"Hi!" Ollie said, appearing in front of the young woman faster than a lightning bolt, making her jump in surprise.
"Um hey, there kid." She replied. "What are you doing in the Emerald Forest, are you lost or something?"
"Nope, I got invited into Beacon!" Ollie stated.
"What?! Is Beacon taking in pre-teens now?" She exclaimed in shock.
"Ollie is a special case," Travis spoke up, causing the young lady to look at him.
"Who are you?" She asked.
"I'm Travis Castor." Travis introduced himself.
"My name is Drake Silverblood," Drake said.
"And I am Ollie Tempest! What's your name?" Ollie said.
"My name is Samantha Vermilion."
"Nice to meet you!" Ollie beamed.
Suddenly, the four heard sounds of fighting echoing across the forest.
"Sounds like there is a battle happening right now." Travis commented.
Elsewhere Weiss Schnee and Ruby Rose were hanging on to something very feathery and very fast, as evidenced by the loud wind and the two being blown sideways.
"Ruby! I told you this was a terrible idea!" Weiss shouted while hanging on for dear life.
"We're fine! Stop worrying!" Ruby shouted back.
"I am so far beyond worrying!" Weiss exclaimed.
"In a good way?" Ruby innocently asked.
"In a bad way! In a very bad way!" Weiss howled.
"Well, why don't we just jump?" Ruby said.
"What are you? Insane?!" Weiss said in shock.
She is met with silence; Ruby has already disappeared.
Weiss snarled in frustration. "Oh, you insufferable little red-!"
Hearing a scream Yang turned to Blake and said, "Blake, did you hear that? What should we do?"
She then looks up and sees Ruby falling right towards them, "Heads uuuuuuuup!"
Just as she was about to hit the ground panicking, Jaune Arc comes flying through the air and crashes into her, knocking her off course and sending them both into a tree to the left of where Blake and Yang are standing.
"Ohhhh... What was that?" Ruby said, dizzy as hell. The dizziness passes when she shakes her head.
"Eh-hem!" Ruby looks up to see Jaune hanging upside-down in a tree branch above her. "Hey, Ruby…"
Blake is staring at the tree. "Did your sister just fall from the sky?"
"I…" Yang failed to find any words.
Suddenly, they all heard yells coming out of the forest.
"AAAHHH! Run for the hills!" Ben yelled as he, Kamikaze, Alma, and Arcee were being chased by a King Taijitu.
"I fucking hate snakes!" Kamikaze exclaimed while doing his best Joseph Joestar run away impression.
"Did they just get chased by a King Taijitu?" Blake asked rhetorically.
"Just great! What else could go wrong?" Yang wondered aloud.
The answer came in the form of several crashing noises heard in the forest ahead of them, and an Ursa comes out, claws swiping, just as a pink blast of energy hits it in the back and it crashes to the ground, depositing its rider.
"YEEEE-HAAAAW!" Nora said as she rolls off of the creature's back, then gets up and groaned in disappointment.
"Awwww... It's broken." She then dashed onto its neck and observed the carcass as Lie Ren came up behind her.
"Nora! Please... Don't ever do that again." Lie Ren said in exhaustion. Unfortunately, Nora was already gone as she dashed into the temple.
"Sometimes I feel sorry for the guy," Arcee said as she noticed what had happened while fighting the white half of the King Taijitu.
"Ditto," Ben said as he dodged a bite from the black half of the snake Grimm and took out one of his Taurus Revolvers, firing a couple of shots into its hide.
Nora, who is now in the Temple, is staring at a golden rook relic in awe before swiping it and doing a little song and dance.
I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!"
"Nora!" Lie Ren yelled from outside.
Nora stopped dancing with the rook on her head, then saluted, dropping the relic into her hand as she did.
"Coming, Ren!"
"Did that girl just ride in on an Ursa?" Blake said, flabbergasted.
"I…" Yang struggled to speak before she was interrupted again as a screech was heard from their right, and Pyrrha Nikos coming onto the scene as a Death Stalker was on her tail her, the scorpion-esque Grimm uprooted entire trees in its chase after her. Pyrrha narrowly dodges its giant claws and keeps on running.
"Jaune!" Pyrrha yelled.
"Pyrrha!" Jaune replied.
"Oh great! A Death Stalker." Arcee grumbled as she decapitated the White Half of the King Taijitu with her sword while Kamikaze split the skull of the Black Half with Oathkeeper and Ben set the corpse on fire for good measure.
"Whoa..." Ruby whispered as she watched them kill the King Taijitu.
"Ruby!" Yang calls her sister.
"Yang!" Ruby calls back excitedly, raising her arms as if to give her sister a hug.
They are distracted by another noise as Momonga, Toshi, Ren Smith, and Yuki run into the clearing chased by a horde of Creeps. Ren Smith then turned around and used the power of the Flame Flame Fruit.
"Fire Fist!" Punching his fist forward, Ren Smith sent out a blast of fire that incinerated the Creeps.
"So cool!" Ruby said with stars in her eyes as the Death Stalker continued to chase Pyrrha.
"Did she just run all the way here with a Death Stalker on her tail?" Blake commented.
Yang, who has gotten fed up with all of Blake's questions, growled and erupted in a small burst of fire, eyes flashing red.
"I can't take it anymore! Can everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?!"
However, things did not get calm as Drake, Travis, Ollie, and Samantha appeared battling a huge pack of Beowolves.
"Damn these Beowolves are persistent!" Travis commented while slashing a Beowolf.
"They're more akin to cockroaches than actual wolves!" Drake replied while stabbing another Beowolf through the heart.
"They are definitely not letting up!" Samantha said shooting at the Beowolves with her mechashift weapon Purity which was an assault rifle/longsword hybrid.
"I don't know about you guys but I am having the time of my life!" Ollie cheered while cutting down the Beowolves like wheat with his scythe.
"This is getting annoying," Travis said. "Drake, would you do us a favor and annihilate them?"
"With pleasure..." Drake replied darkly as he trapped the remaining Beowolves in a telekinetic barrier and created an explosion inside of it which destroyed the Grimm. The barrier dissipated leaving no trace of the Grimm behind save a crater in the ground.
"Did that guy just blow up the Grimm?" Blake said.
"Drake's always been an exceptional sort." Kamikaze pointed out as Ruby tugged on Yang's sleeve and pointed.
"Umm... Yang?"
Team Infinity and Samantha took a look in the direction Ruby was pointing and saw a spectacular sight; Up above, Weiss is revealed to be hanging on a talon the size of her entire body that belongs to a gigantic Nevermore.
"How could you leave me?!" Weiss calls down to Ruby accusingly.
"I said Jump!"
"She's gonna fall." Blake plainly stated.
"She'll be fine," Ruby replied.
"I don't think so," Arcee said.
"I think we should have a little faith in Weiss," Ruby said.
"And she's falling." Ben deadpanned. "She's gonna die."
Drake reacts quicker than everyone else, jumping up to Weiss and catching her in a bridal carry. He then floated down and landed safely.
"You're welcome."
Weiss was left speechless and embarrassed by Drake as this was the second time he had saved her. And on the same day, no less!
Meanwhile, The Death Stalker was still hunting Pyrrha, but she managed to land on her side at the feet of the heroes.
"Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!" Yang said sarcastically.
In response to Yang's words, Kamikaze turned to Team Infinity and Samantha.
"Ladies and gentlemen, what do we say to death? Not today!" Kamikaze stated firmly.
"Is that what you guys say?" Samantha asked. "I literally just met you guys, after all."
"Yeah!" Everyone else (except Drake who nods) yelled out as she shrugged in response.
"Okay, guess I'll roll with it."
"Toshi, would you do the honors?" Kamikaze asked.
"Of course!" Toshi replied as he casually walked towards the Death Stalker. "Hey ugly!"
The Death Stalker turned its attention to him and charged with its tail aiming to impale him. Toshi smirked and dodged the stinger before his body became covered with green electricity as he activated his power, One For All. He jumped above the Death Stalker and reared his right arm.
"DETROIT SMASH!" Toshi yelled as he punched the Death Stalker with 5% of One For All flattening the Grimm and killing it.
"Wow...!" Ruby remarked at Toshi's display of power.
"Damn! That was one hell of a punch!" Yang said.
"He's strong," Blake commented.
"Where did he even get that kind of power?!" Weiss asked, stunned.
"Well Ice Queen, that's Toshi's Semblance," Kamikaze said, half-truthfully.
Pyrrha smiled gratefully as she got up. "Thank you for your help."
"It was nothing, really," Toshi replied humbly.
"Guys? That thing's circling back! What are we gonna do?" Jaune said, drawing attention to the Nevermore above.
"Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us. Weiss said, reminding everyone about the Relics.
"She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the Cliffs. There's no point in fighting these things." Ruby agreed.
"Run and live, that's an idea I can get behind!" Jaune said.
"Pussy." Ben said dryly.
"We really need to teach him how to fight," Arcee told Kamikaze.
"No doubt." Kamikaze replied.
Ruby, Kamikaze, Ben, Momonga, Yuki, Travis, and Ollie quickly made their way into the temple to collect the Relics. Ruby went over and grabbed a gold knight which was identical to the one Yang picked out. Jaune took hold of a gold rook which was similar to Nora and Ren's piece. Kamikaze and Ben took golden King pieces. Momonga and Yuki selected golden Bishop pieces. Finally, Travis and Ollie chose the golden Queen pieces.
"Great we got the Relics so let's book it!" Kamikaze said.
Everyone moved forward and left the temple before reuniting with their groups.
An overhead shot shows that everyone is heading out of the forest and into another abandoned series of structures as the Nevermore follows them from the air. They spread out when it passes above, concealing themselves behind some of the stone blocks with their allies as it perches on a high column and caws.
"Well, that's just great!" Yang said annoyed.
"I think I have a solution for our little problem," Ben said as Kamikaze smirked.
"Go ahead Benny-Boy."
Nodding, Ben emerged from cover and took control of the air, he created a tornado and sent it to Nevermore. The avian Grimm tried to avoid the whirlwind but was caught and sucked into the tornado.
"Good job!" Kamikaze said, giving his friend a thumbs-up as he chuckled in response.
"Don't think about it. Now let's go before Tweety Bird's Crackhead Uncle comes back."
The group of twenty race over the ancient stone bridge, not noticing that the Nevermore had escaped the tornado and was closing in on them until it used its giant wings to shatter the path right in the middle, forcing Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang, Nora, Jaune, Lie Ren and Pyrrha closer to the central collection of columns and leaving Team Infinity and Samantha on the other side. Ruby fired at the retreating Nevermore while Team Infinity and Samantha were confronted by a group of Creepers who emerged from the ground.
"Man, we gotta get over there! They need help!" Jaune said, looking over the destroyed bridge but before they could do anything the Nevermore returned.
"Darn it! It's back!"
"Then let's hit it with everything we got!" Yang replied, cocking Ember Celica.
With the Nevermore approaching, Ruby, Blake, Weiss, Yang, Ren, and Pyrrha set their weapons to fire a barrage of blasts at the bird, which it either dodged or took harmlessly until it crashed through the columns and platform. They all quickly leaped from one section of falling stone to the next until they reached the higher bridge on top, just below the cliffs.
Meanwhile, with Team Infinity and Samantha, they were seemingly overwhelmed by the Creepers. For every Creeper, they killed more burrowed out of the ground to replace them.
"They won't stop coming!" Kamikaze yelled in frustration as he swung Oathkeeper in wide arcs killing Creepers left and right.
"Tell me about it!" Ben said as he fired his Mossberg 590 Shotgun.
"They are really starting to piss me off!" Arcee growled as she slashed at the Creepers with her sword, Destroyer.
"Same here!" Travis agreed while firing blasts of his divine power at the creepers using his staff as a medium.
"We need to do something fast or we are going to be up to our armpits in these things!" Alma said urgently as she fired arrows at the Creepers using Apollo's Bow.
"Alma's right! We gotta do something quick!" Momonga said, slashing apart Creepers with the Darksaber.
"First we need a plan!" Kamikaze said. "Lucky for us, I got an idea! Ollie, use your Gravity Manipulation to lift the ground the Creepers are coming from."
"Gotcha!" Ollie said, using his power to levitate the earth and suspend it in a gravitational field.
"Great! Yuki, blast those Creepers that were left behind."
"You got it!" Yuki replied and she blasted the remaining Creepers with her star bolts.
"Nice! Now Alma, use your antimatter and erase them!"
"Consider it done!" Alma said as she projected an antimatter beam at the floating earth destroying it completely in a massive explosion.
"What just happened?" Yang asked as she and the others registered the explosion.
"Sounds like they solved their problem," Blake replied.
"None of this is working!" Weis shouted angrily.
Ruby looked apprehensive until she saw Blake whip over to another section of the area and Yang firing round after flaming round at the Grimm. Getting a spark of inspiration she spoke up.
"I have a plan! Cover me!" With that, she blasted away as Weiss followed after her.
Meanwhile, Jaune, Ren, Nora, and Pyrrha were busy fighting off another Death Stalker that had shown up.
"We gotta move!" Jaune said and they all rushed towards it.
The Death Stalker aimed a claw at Pyrrha, but she deflected it with her shield, Akoúo, and slashed it with her blade, Milo. The scorpion recoiled before swiping at her with its other claw, but Jaune was there to deflect it with his shield, knocking it back so Pyrrha could leap over and attack its face.
Ren ran up firing his Stormflower pistols and getting on the stinger when The Death Stalker tried to hit him, shooting at the base between it and the tail while Nora fired more grenades at the attacking claws. Pyrrha hurled her javelin straight into one of the monster's ten eyes, making it throw Ren to the side.
"Ren!" Nora called out worriedly.
Ren hits the side of a stone block hard and fell to the ground, not getting back up. Jaune, though, manages to stand and notice the stinger hanging limply.
"Pyrrha!" Jaune shouted.
"Done!" Pyrrha said, realizing the message Jaune was conveying as she raised her shield and hurled it like a discus, slicing the stinger off and causing it to fall into the Death Stalker's head as Pyrrha retrieved her shield on the rebound.
"Nora, nail it!" Jaune commanded.
"Heads up!" Nora yelled as she jumps on Akoúo, Pyrrha leaps as Nora aims her blast down to give herself a maximum lift, and she smiles the entire way up before twirling down until her hammer slams its head into the stinger, driving the point through the Death Stalker's head and crushing the bridge beneath it.
Jaune and Pyrrha bound over the monster to the land behind it, and Nora fired up and away behind them as the monster fell to its doom. Jaune hit the ground on his back, Nora landed on her bottom, Pyrrha managed a crouched pose, and Ren simply walked over to them, panting and groaning until he just collapsed on his face. The other three got up and watched as the Nevermore was peppered with firepower.
Yang is still burning through her ammo on the beast, landing a blow at its face and causing it to head right towards her, but she leaps for its open maw and forces the beak wide as she attacks.
"I! Hope! You're! Hung-gry!" She then looked behind her and jumped back from its mouth onto a ruin, causing the creature to crash into the cliffs.
Despite Yang's attempts, the Nevermore recovered quickly, and Yang smiles as she spotted Ruby and Blake on the broken columns with Weiss rushing to the battle. Yang passed her while the Nevermore started to fly back up, but Weiss hopped over to the ruin it was lifting off of and froze the tip of its feathery tail to the ground, leaving it stuck in the same spot despite its flapping. Weiss backflipped into a snowflake-circle jump and landed on the other side, running to the group.
Blake fired the pistol portion of Gambol Shroud over to Yang, and the two tighten it between the columns so Ruby can jump on the center with Crescent Rose and bend it back into Weiss' black sigil, right next to the caster.
"Of course, you would come up with this idea," Weiss said.
"Think you can make the shot?" Ruby asked.
"Hmm! Can I!" Weiss said confidently.
A second passes.
"Can you?" Ruby asked.
"Of course, I can!" Weiss replied quickly and indignantly
Ruby looked forward and pumped Crescent Rose as Weiss turned the circle from black to red and released Ruby at such a speed that the ground behind her launch cracked, rose petals flying from her ascent. With each new shot, she got closer and closer to the trapped Grimm until her scythe caught the Nevermore's neck in its blade and caused them both to fall to the cliff wall.
Acting quickly, Weiss raised her sword and created a series of white circles up the wall, which Ruby dashes through by firing the entire way up.
Yang, Blake, and an exhausted Weiss watched her climb up with the bird in her grasp until, both warrior and monster crying out, Ruby reached the top of the cliff, circled up, fired one last shot, and rendered Nevermore's head from its shoulders in a shower of petals.
She landed beside the severed head as the body of the giant Nevermore falls lifeless to the ruins and crevice below while the girls and, farther away, Jaune, Pyrrha, Nora, Lie Ren, Team Infinity, and Samantha watch in amazement.
"Wow…" Jaune uttered.
"That was great Ruby!" Travis smiled.
"You can say that again," Momonga said, seeing Ruby in a new light.
Ruby, her cape and petals flowing with the wind, looks down at her friends as they peer up.
"Well... That was a thing!" Yang said as Ruby smiled.
Later at the auditorium, the induction ceremony had begun.
"Russel Thrush. Cardin Winchester. Dove Bronzewing. Sky Lark." Ozpin announced as the screen of the auditorium shows each of their profiles as the boys are lined up for the applauding audience to see as Ozpin continues. "The four of you retrieved the black bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL, led by Cardin Winchester!"
The audience gives one more wave of ovation, while four students walk up to the stage to take their places in front of the headmaster as their faces fill the screen.
"Jaune Arc. Lie Ren. Pyrrha Nikos. Nora Valkyrie. The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR." Ozpin said.
Amid the clapping, Nora laughs and gives Lie Ren a hug.
"Led by Jaune Arc!" Ozpin continued.
"Huh? L-Led by who now?" Jaune stuttered confusedly.
"Congratulations, young man," Ozpin said to Jaune.
A grinning Pyrrha offers a friendly shoulder bump to Jaune, but her "fine leader" is knocked over and falls to his butt in front of the laughing audience.
"Blake Belladonna. Ruby Rose. Weiss Schnee. Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by Ruby Rose!"
Weiss looks to her right surprised, whereas Ruby was obviously in shock as Yang went over to hug her sister.
"I'm so proud of you!" Yang gushed.
"You're embarrassing me, Yang!" Ruby whined.
Awaiting their turn, Team Infinity smiled at the sisters' theatrics.
"Moments like these make life special," Kamikaze said warmly.
"Yeah, it sure does." Arcee voiced in agreement.
"Kamikaze Judai. Ben Shigura. Arcelia Ka. Alma Nevers. You four collected the black King pieces. You will be known as Team KAAB. Led by Kamikaze Judai!" Ozpin said as the audience cheered.
"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" Kamikaze said as he began showboating much to Arcee's and Alma's annoyance.
"KAAB? What kind of name is that!" Ben protested but unfortunately, he was ignored by his teammates who were shoving Kamikaze off the stage.
"Drake Silverblood. Oliver Tempest. Travis Castor. Samantha Vermilion. You retrieved the white Queen pieces. You will be known as Team DOTS. Led by Drake Silverblood.
Drake bowed while Travis did a fist bump and Samantha ruffled Ollie's hair, making him blush bashfully.
"Finally, Momonga Parker. Yuki Kaze. Ren Smith. Toshinori Midoriya. You collected the white bishop Pieces. You will be known as Team MRTY. Led by Momonga Parker!" Ozpin said.
"Thank you, headmaster," Momonga said as he shook Ozpin's hand.
"It looks like things are shaping up to be an interesting year," Ozpin said as Team MRTY left the stage.
The scene then moves away from the auditorium's structure until it escapes into the open sky and shows the scattering crescent moon amid the day's clouds before going into the night and seeing the moon through a window, providing a view of the outside for a shadowy room filled with shelves and a desk in the back, where Roman Torchwick is getting a call on his phone. The muffled conversation ends, and Roman angrily slams the phone down, sighing. He holds a cigar to his mouth and puts his symbolized lighter to the end, just as a man in a gray mask and black hood comes with a trolley. Roman holds out a collection of Lien, which he places on the table and the man takes.
"Open it." He ordered.
The masked man does so with a crowbar, revealing a large number of Dust crystals of varying colors: orange, blue, white, red, green, cyan, gold, yellow, and more. Roman picks up a blue gem in his hand and looks at the loot.
"We're gonna need more men…" Roman muttered.
