Chapter-09 - Not Your Average Workday

I found Bulma Monday morning after my workout and she immediately showed me to her huge workshop which now included a makeshift warehouse that was made to hold Babidi's ship. Bulma had been deconstructing and reverse-engineering this thing for most of the last week.

"Hey, kiddo! Come check out what we've got so far!" Bulma said when she saw me, "Nice overalls! Those will be great to get dirty!"

I laughed, "I thought so too!" Overall shorts, a sports bra, and high tops, I was ready to go as my hair was in a ponytail.

She began running me through everything they had so far, and honestly, the tech wasn't too far behind what Bulma already had access to because of the technology from the Frieza Force that had been brought to Earth.

I had her list out everything I could think of. I even got out my notebook and made a list of things I could think of.

Communications:

- Already capable of inter-galactic communication and it was already part of the technology we have currently. I was blown away by that.

- The galactic map's that Babidi had already included coordinates of our Galactic Captital and a vast amount of open empires, kingdoms, and worlds that were all over the milky way.

Energy Sources:

- There was some sort of constant energy drive in Babidi's ship. It was endless and a more advanced version of what the Androids used. The parts to make more are rare and while they do exist in our solar system, it might take a while to find and harvest them.

Medical Technology:

- The Medical Machines or Healing Pods we have are much more advanced than what they had on Babidi's ship. My healing is also stronger and that isn't to mention Dende or Senzu Beans.

- There was a bunch of information on all sorts of species that Bulma had collected in a database, not to mention cures and vaccines for things that the wider universe has already faced.

- They also had a really good pain reliever in the form of a lotion that was great for post workouts, it seemed interesting.

3D Printing:

- Babidi's people called them 'Makers' which is kind of underwhelming as a name, but they can produce almost anything under a certain size of about a square meter.

- They had bricks of raw materials which they just kept in the machines that could then produce any mechanical piece, small object, or anything of the sort that is non-living material.

Food Processing:

- They had normal food processing for the regular crew, but for the fighters on the ship, who consume calories like Saiyans do, they had a larger food processor that compacted food to make consumption easier for powered beings.

Weapons:

- I am a Saiyan, they didn't matter, but they had some gravity bombs and laser weapons that Bulma had long since made irrelevant.

Defenses:

- They didn't have anything close to actual Star Trek-like shielding, but the ship had some sort of ionization that disrupted beam weapons to a certain power level.

Ki-Based Technology:

- They had receivers, emitters, and storage systems for ki, which was by far the most important one. They didn't utilize it for any purpose other than inputting it into Majin Buu's shell.

"This is incredible Bulma! I had no idea how far you were already. I guess I shouldn't be surprised with how smart you are though," I said. "It's almost like you don't even need me!"

"That's not true at all, even you can tell how under-utilized the Ki systems are here. The addition of a Saiyan's ki can help, but I want your ideas on what to do with it," her smirk turned devious, "And I know for a fact you have some incredible ideas bouncing around in that head of yours, am I right?"

I smiled, "I do have a couple."

Bulma and I quickly began working together to break down the ki technology, and what it eventually came down to was recycling a certain metal that they had in parts that specifically interacted with Ki. It was a ki-drinking metal and if laid in the right pattern it can contain ki for extended periods.

Over the next 4 months, we worked together with her father and other Capsule Corp employees to break down all of the technology and reverse engineer it. I loved helping to break stuff down and beginning to learn how this crazy and complex technology works. By the end of 4 months, I was efficient at using modern-day tools and had even got a solid set of my own.

I finally told Bulma that my goal in working with her would be to implement Ki-based technology into space flight and to build a ship about the size of Babidi's for my future travels.

She only hinted at the fact that I would be in deep stuff if I just left the planet without telling anyone, which I wasn't going to do. I reassured her that we will need at least two ships in the future and that I need one for me specifically.

Bulma had tried to speak with me about my seer abilities but what was there to say? It didn't apply to everything, but I had already proven its power of it by turning most of us Saiyans into Gods.

She was alright with my explanation, and when I started working on the design she just flat out told me that she was making 2 extra, one for her, and one to market in the future. The design was something I had been working on by myself already and since I am incorporating materials from what the Kai's gave me, specifically Katchin, it would take a while to build but it WILL be Saiyan-proof. I began to work on some basic ship designs and stuff I could find in the Sci-Fi series on this planet as the basis, but I ended with something unique.

While Babidi's ship landed like a rocket and stood vertically, I wanted one that would land on its belly. My ship had to have room for a crew, though I didn't plan on staffing any just yet, and I wanted every room on the ship to be capable of living in. Each one would be fully stocked to be an almost single-bedroom apartment with a small living space and bathroom. Storing water and food was easy with capsules and the processors that we reverse-engineered from Babidi's ship were perfect for Saiyans.

I wanted to start breaking down everything we needed to make a starship that I would find worthy, and Bulma wanted one in my design as well. That being said most of the technology was already available, I just needed to put it together with the rest of the stuff I wanted to incorporate and I finished my final design, I sat down and looked at it for a few hours, constantly redoing minute details.

I started with the idea of a bullet. I made it longer and triangular but with more rounded edges. The stern was larger as it still tapered to a point on the bow, but all of the engines would be housed within the structure, and that pushed the design a little larger than I had previously anticipated. It was now closer to 132 meters in length. While the back had a massive array of engines, the front was sharp and smooth. The taper towards the front was minimal until the very forward part of the ship.

I designed the bridge so you had a nearly 300-degree view out of the sleek windows that wrapped around the bow, but it was also open, so the Captain can look down and see all the people working. The ship had lines of windows for different parts of it. Along the rear of the ship that extended from the up edges of the ship, some small but smooth wings lined up beautifully.

The last part was a small verticle rudder that looked like one from a passenger airline with Capsule Corp's logo on it. I haven't decided on a name yet, but with the luxury interior, I designed...Bulma started calling it Cloud 9. I didn't like it, but until I had a better name she wasn't going to stop.

After finishing the design and having it approved by Bulma, we made a list of the technology that we still needed to work on. So far we had most of what we needed, but there were still a few things that have to be completely designed or reworked entirely to implement into the ship. The hardest one would probably be the internal gravitational systems, but Bulma said she is a pro at that.

I wanted to work on making shields for the ship, as they were a must and would be Ki based. Everything could be adapted from the technology that we already have on hand, from heat and radiation shielding, communications and computer systems, life support systems, and power/propulsion.

With that in mind, we went to work.

I got into a daily routine of working out early in the morning when my dad got up to train. I would go back home to eat breakfast with the family and hug my brothers, mother, and father before I left. Then I would head out to Capsule Corp and get to work. We would pause to have a family lunch, then go right back to work until about 4 pm.

Around that time I would change clothes and go train with Goten and Trunks, but sometimes Gohan and Videl would join us after school as well. I would help my mom cook dinner by chopping things for her and doing prep work.

I always made sure to try to be the best sister I could be for the little guy. I took days off to take Goten and Trunks on camping trips maybe once a month. My dad would often join us in that. We would just go and have fun as a little family, enjoying nature and meditation. When Goten's birthday came around I got him a new game system, which my mom was not happy about, but the little guy about exploded in excitement. He was allowed to play a half hour a day though they played all day on his birthday.

I had to admit that coming to this world has been a blessing and I want to keep pushing to make sure that our world has a future. I will make sure that everyone I love has a place, a purpose, and love.

By the end of this intro to spaceship building, I had a huge breakthrough. It had to be my biggest accomplishment in researching the ki technology Babidi had left us. What I did was take the emitters they had been using to deliver ki to Majin Buu's shell and reverse engineer them. I was able to reconfigure an array of them to form a shield that stopped anything to a certain power threshold before breaking. It would be powered solely by my Ki. The shield could then be projected up to a few meters away, and with a large enough array I could fully cover a ship...or a city.

Then Bulma took it a step further and figured out how to project an entire closed sphere of ki through emitters within 50 or so meters from the center point of the sphere. From there it became about modulation and extension of parameters to change the shape, and we could then project shields. Bulma and I worked on improving the shield range but the only thing we could affect was its power of it, not the distance, at least not without a larger array of ki emitters.

I then continued working on the Ki-based systems as I still had a few ideas to turn into a reality.

During those four months, I had chosen my Super Saiyan 4 form as my main battle transformation to work on. It became comforting to feel the cool calculation that ran through my mind while in this form. I began to realize the different things my senses were telling me, the predatory instincts seemed to help in combat, helping to hone in on openings or dodge more effectively.

I spent quite a bit of time in my mind space during meditation and slowly grew closer to my important transformations. I made an interesting discovery as well or maybe I should call it a better understanding of how my soul space operated. I am the offspring of my parents, or rather what I would be if they actually had twins instead of one just showing up when I did.

My bloodlines from them are the basis of what I can see in my mindscape, like the spiritual aspect of the bloodline. A mind space was a bad term for it, as it was more spiritual than a true mind space. I can see my spiritual connections and blessings. All blessings, power sources, mutations, etc, everything is tied to my spiritual being and that is truly what this space was.

As I meditated I worked on my spiritual connections to my bloodline. I couldn't grasp exactly how the Divine Ki and transformations connected to everything yet, but I wasn't in a huge hurry to figure that out.

Making my rounds through hospitals all over the place was nothing new, and I found out that there was a whole social media forum based on people getting pictures of me healing them. I had a few stories with that sort of thing come into the public eye, and many of them were posted on that forum. I still tried to maintain an air of mysteriousness when I went out at night though.

Two months later and I didn't even realize that I had been here for a whole year. I woke up to a full breakfast spread and loving wishes of 'Happy Birthday!' from everyone.

I even got some acknowledgments from the few co-workers that I talked to besides Dr. Briefs and Bulma. They all wished me a happy birthday and we had a work party at lunch. There were only 30 people there and Bulma got pizza, soda, and cake. We all had a great time.

When I made it home Goten nearly tackled me again, "Chiyo! I got your present!"

"Well, buddy, let's get inside and see everyone first!" I said.

Goten's every smiling face lit up in a classic Son smile, "Let's go!" Goten jumped on my shoulders and I only had to duck a couple of inches to get into the door.

I wasn't surprised when all of the Z-fighters, our families, and our friends were all there for a massive dinner meal. I finally opened presents and wisely grabbed a box of tissues to prepare for the inevitable tears.

Goten insisted that I open his first so I did just that. It was a locket with a picture of me and him on the nimbus. The chain was a very recognizable metal...it was a Katchin necklace with a locket on the end. "A Saiyan-proof locket, with our picture in it?"

He nodded and smiled wide, "Do you like it?"

"Goten, I love it!" I had him put it on me right there, the little Goku flying up behind me while I wrested my hair out of the wait.

My mom got me an amazing black Cheongsam dress with golden Shenron-style dragons all over it and she got me a pair of black and gold heels to go with it, it made a gorgeous combo. My dad got me a set of weighted clothes in the style that I wear for working out. I am sure my mom got them, but I gave him a huge hug anyways.

Bulma got me a chair...a captain's chair...for my ship. It was white and gold with black accents, and I was starting to think that I looked best in these colors, or at least that is what everyone else thinks.

Gohan and Videl got me an engineering book, workout clothes, and a makeup set that Videl confessed Erasa had picked up for me. I was happy regardless. Gohan's birthday was a few months before my arrival day and I had got him a phone like I had that transforms into a watch and back.

18, Krillin and Marron got me a nice summer dress that went just past my knees. It was green and blue and was soooo comfortable. I had noticed Krillin had an "officer in training" shirt on and I specifically told him that I would be poaching him from such a mundane job in around 4 months. He looked at 18 who raised her eyebrow curiously at me, I smiled deviously at her and winked.

I was surprised when Bulma's parents came out and Dr. Briefs presented a single piece of paper in one of his memo styles. It just said that he had designed an operating system for our ships and this memo was part of it. Bulma's mom, Bikini got me some fancy jewelry

Piccolo just came by and nodded at me with a grumbled "Happy Birthday." He was horrified when I hugged him.

It was my first birthday in this new world and I couldn't help but feel thankful, welcomed, and loved.

About a month after my birthday we received a visit at Capsule Corp from a representative of the current worldwide monarchy. It seems King Furry had finally requested a visit with representatives of the Fire Mountain Kingdoms, including a request to see Goku again.

We made our way to the royal palace and it was an amazing scene. We had been welcomed with open arms and shown royal treatment, from the moment we landed on the grounds.

My Parents, Gohan, Videl, Goten, and the Ox King all met with King Furry in his massive Palace. It was gorgeous and it didn't feel overwhelming but rather appropriate for the situation. The meeting with King Furry started as we shook hands and sat around a rather informal gathering space. It was quite comfortable, overlooking a water garden of some sort and King Furry got all of his small talk with my dad out of the way. Including thanking him and Gohan for defeating Cell, regardless of what we tell everyone.

My dad promptly left after that, as the deal was that he just had to exchange a few words before he got to go train. After he left there was an odd silence as King Furry looked around at us.

"Well then, this is a wonderful family you have cultivated here Mrs. Son. Both your son and daughter are remarkable and I do have a proposal for them, but first I would like to speak with you King Ox," King Furry addressed my Grandpa.

My mom thanked him and let my Grandpa speak. The rumbling mountain of a man leaned forward. "I figured as much, King Furry."

The King nodded and spoke again, "It is time for you to join the larger world. I don't mean that we have to take over or anything, it's more like adding you as ruler of your territory to the rest of the world. After the Red Ribbon Army fell, we have been entirely united since then."

"Hmmm, I didn't realize the world was fully connected like that!" Ox King said, and I didn't either.

The two went back and forth for what felt like hours but Gohan and I kept our attention on the conversation the entire time.

"Before we get into final terms and sign the documents, I was hoping to speak with your grandchildren a bit here," King Furry said, receiving a nod from the Ox King. "Now then, let's start with you, young Miss Chiyo."

I sat up a bit, showing that I am giving my full attention.

"I see a politically savvy mind that is looking to change the narrative of certain worldwide events. You have already made a splash on the world scene by bringing your family into the public eye with that interview, winning the 25th World Martial Arts Tournament, and you are now working with Bulma Briefs to improve the technology of our world," King Furry said.

"You talked to Bulma?" I couldn't help but ask.

"Of course, we buy damn near everything from Capsule Corp these days, I have people that work directly with her staff to secure stuff. Imagine my surprise when I found out that you are working with her despite having almost no records of existing until this year," King Furry said.

"That makes sense, I am surprised that you have been keeping up with us," I said.

"Why would I not follow the strongest people on the planet? No, my dear, it is time to do just that and work with you all. I want this planet to be safe, and I cannot do that without the help of your family."

"I...ahem, well I guess I also wanted to make our group of fighters into more than that... into a worldwide organization that can not only defend against external threats like Cell but also internal ones on Earth," I nodded at his earlier reference, "Like the Red Ribbon Army. In fact, we have already stopped a worldwide threat this year."

He looked shocked at that, "Wha-what do you mean?"

"We defeated a being known as Majin Buu, who was going to be controlled by a rogue magic user that could influence minds. Majin Buu was much stronger than Cell, and only made less of a threat because of how we dealt with it."

"This happened on Earth?"

"No, we were able to enlist the help of the Supreme Kai, a sort of caretaker to the local Galactic Kai's and World Guardians, to bring Majin Buu to a deserted world. We fought and...destroyed him there," I felt the comfort of my brother through our emotional bond and I very much appreciated it.

"Gods, they are real then?" King Furry asked with full attention on me.

"Absolutely, I will have to introduce you to our local Earth Guardian at the Lookout at some point, and I know the Supreme Kai will be coming back here within the year for...some social..." I stopped talking as I realized that the King was looking at me with mouth agape. His assistants that were in the room were looking at me like I was crazy as well.

"Sorry, I hope I didn't say anything wrong?"

"Is it...Kami?" He asked.

"Well, it is Kami's successor, his name is Dende and he taught me how to heal, or rather how to access my healing abilities," I explained.

"Dende...that is incredible."

I had a copy of the fights between us and Majin Buu that the Supreme Kai was able to turn into a digital device. I had it saved at my house, though I didn't watch it.

"Well, here is the video, and you can see what I mean by how dangerous and malevolent Majin Buu was, I would also like to point out that he is one danger among many. My goal, as I said earlier would be to make an organization that can not only be our first line of defense against catastrophic events and beings but also the last line of defense," I explained.

He handed the drive to his staff, and shook his head, "I don't think I could have said it better myself Chiyo, what would you want to name this organization?"

"The Z Force."

He nodded in approval of the name and began asking me all sorts of questions. I even told him how most of our galaxy has a larger monarchy with the Galactic Patrol as its police force. He was blown away that we were in the production of ships with the explicit purpose of connecting with this Galactic Monarchy and its space police.

We went on to discuss everything he could think of and I even told him a bit about the remnants of the Frieza Force that still roamed about in our Galaxy. He had his assistants writing everything down as if to sort through later.

King Furry turned to Gohan without saying more about it, "Now then, Gohan. You have also done some amazing things in your life, haven't you?"

Gohan laughed nervously and rubbed the back of his neck, "I don't know..."

"Nonsense my boy! You defeated Cell! The great calamity of our time! Did you not?"

A wave of guilt went through his side of our bond and was enough for me to feel it. I hadn't even realized that he was still feeling guilty for the Cell Games, I am a bad sister! I tried to send him feelings of love and comfort but I felt guilty for not realizing this sooner!

"Well, it was a team effort that took down Cell," Gohan started but was immediately interrupted by King Furry.

"I know that Hercule had no part in that Gohan, I know that you and your father fought him for all of us," he said.

Gohan just nodded and King Furry took the time to begin grilling him with questions. Scenarios and hypothetical situations were run by him, and how he would handle them. Not just fighting scenarios or questions about his hero work, but also interesting political scenarios.

Gohan began answering his questions with well-thought-out responses and I couldn't help but feel proud and surprised by him. He had apparently been studying a bunch of politics, history, and social sciences from the books I got him a while back.

I convinced my mom that his learning this stuff was extremely important and that it would only help him be more educated. She loved that and bought more.

King Furry thought for a while after he stopped questioning us and spoke, "It is no secret that I am getting up there in my years and have not declared an heir. I have not made a family, instead focusing on creating a peaceful time of prosperity." He had a distant look in his eyes, as the weight of leadership made itself known.

As if confirming his resolve, he turned to both Gohan and me as he spoke, "No more beating around the bush then, I want to name you both, Prince and Princess of the Fire Mountain Kingdom, my heirs. What say you?"

I was shocked that this was happening, just like that. I looked at Gohan who seemed just as shocked as I felt.

"Accepting the position of heir isn't a confirmation of becoming King Gohan, I want you to start working with us here at the Palace, learning the ropes so to speak. You and Videl should work with us once a week. Chiyo, once a month since you are instead working full time until your organization gets off the ground. What do you think?"

"My organization is a long way from getting off the ground," I said.

"I know, but it will have government backing and I will make sure you have what you need within the next 6 months or so," He said.

I nodded at that, while Gohan and Videl both agreed to at least come learn here for a day a week. This was a huge step forward and I didn't even see it coming.

The Ox King and King Furry signed the documents to accept the Fire Mountain Kingdoms into the Dragon World Government, and we officially became Prince and Princess of the Dragon World and unofficial heirs to the throne.

After the Son family left the palace King Furry was talking with his subordinates, "I wish Chiyo would go for the throne, but I can see now that she has been building a reputation for Gohan to take the throne, Videl at his side."

"Will Miss Chiyo be okay with just running an organization like the Z Force? She seems so young."

"She is young, but both of those twins are something special. In three years' time, they will be more than ready to take on roles, I want to see Chiyo involved though. Put her down to train as an ambassador."

"Ambassador, sir?" It wasn't a surprising question since there was officially only one country on Earth.

"You were there the whole time I was, she already knows of the larger cosmos, and would make a perfect galactic ambassador to this Milky Way Monarchy. This meeting went better than I hoped," King Furry said.

About a month after the world officially united, I had quietly grabbed Vegeta, Goten, and Trunks with the explanation that we had to speak but the boys can come along. I also grabbed the Dragon Balls that Bulma and I had collected and stored in a capsule. I told her that I needed the next few rounds of wishes to prevent massive problems. She was totally fine with it but said I better be thinking of ways to wish for her to remain beautiful. I shook my head and stared at the gorgeous woman like she was mad.

We flew to the Lookout where I found Piccolo and Dende meditating while Mr. Popo was tending the garden. After greeting everyone Vegeta spoke up, "Alright brat, why did you drag us out here?"

I looked down in frustration, "Look, it is time we work on powering up Piccolo, but also I have to pay back what I did."

Piccolo just looked surprised and curious, but Vegeta was staring at me with a fierce gaze. Goten and Trunks were watching with curiosity, but they didn't interrupt.

"I stole a power when I shouldn't have, but I do not intend to give it back."

Vegeta didn't speak, just kept staring at me.

"You are the last Royal Saiyan, it is time that you took the power that comes once in a universe, it is time you became THE Legendary Super Saiyan," I said to him. I had to speak aggressively so I could show my sincerity.

"You think you can just hand out power?" Vegeta asked.

"No, this form shouldn't belong to me, it should belong to you. I already proved it could be mixed with Divine Ki or even other Saiyan Transformations. It is time it went to someone who represents the full power of the Saiyan Race. Not a half-human," I explained.

I could almost feel Vegeta's anger, "Why not give it to Kakarot?"

"Because my dad lives in the moment, he is a pure-hearted person who would never be comfortable with this power," I looked down at my hands, "I don't have the rage to fully utilize the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan. It's not meant for me, it never was meant for me..."

"DAMMIT!" Vegeta said as he slammed his fist into the marble tiles.

I was expecting him to attack or something but he just stared at the ground.

"What pisses me off more than anything, is that you just know things, so tell me this. Why give it to me? What happens that I can't handle with my current power?!" He yelled at me.

"There is a lot we have yet to face, including Destroyers, world eaters, and lost remnants of mostly destroyed civilizations. That isn't the point though, the point is that this power seems to be fueled by pride and rage, it's like it was made for you and just given to the wrong person. When I took it, I was not in my right mind, and I just spoke the wishes, I made a mistake and it needs to be at least somewhat corrected," I explained.

He just shook his head, "Does it ever end with you?" He softened his voice as he stopped powering up.

"This is the last time this happens, you will be able to at least fight Beerus with this power, even if his Divine Destruction Ki is too much for all of us," I explained.

"Fine, I will take it, but only because it should belong to a full Saiyan," Vegeta explained.

I nodded, "Agreed."

I signaled my brother to start filming with my camera as I threw the capsule out that contained the dragon balls. "Eternal Shenron! By your name, I summon you forth!"

The sky darkened and a beam of golden light rocketed up from the orbs as the form of Shenron came flying upwards and winding around in circles until he stopped and stared at me.

"You have summoned me, hurry and make your wishes," Shenron said.

"I wish that everyone on King Kai's Planet is brought back to life."

Shenron's eyes lit up, "Granted."

"I wish for you to draw out Piccolo's latent potential."

"Hmmm, Piccolo, huh? That is easy," Shenron said as his eyes lit up.

Piccolo staggered as he was covered in golden light before it faded, "What the?"

Before Piccolo could question me I spoke again, "I wish to move my Legendary Super Saiyan power to Vegeta."

"Granted."

My nerves built up and I closed my eyes, expecting a wall of pain to hit me. But nothing painful happened and Vegeta lit up in green light. I instead had a sense of distant loss, then I passed out.

I woke up with the wind blasting me and I realized I was in my brother's arms. Goten might be small, but he is a Saiyan and held me with no problem.

"Chiyo?! Are you alright?" Goten was in tears and he stopped. I took my weight from him and began flying on my own power. I could hear and feel the clash of power in the upper atmosphere. Piccolo and Vegeta were going head to head with their new forms.

I turned and hugged my little brother, "You are such a little hero Goten!" I blushed with amusement, "I am much better now that you saved me!"

"R-Really?" Goten asked with his little bottom lip trembling.

I looked over his shoulder where Gohan had appeared with the sound of Instant Transmission and a worried look on his face. I smiled and winked, " I am fine, I just had to pass the power that would be better in the hands of a full Saiyan."

"What do you mean?" Gohan asked.

"Well, that is the power of the Legendary Super Saiyan, and it is a form that is based on pride and rage. I figured that since Vegeta is a better person now, it should go to him. If he can control it, then it will be devastating," I said while nodding at the green energy.

"You sure he's a better person?" Gohan asked skeptically, he must have arrived after I passed out.

"Hey! That's my dad!" Trunks said.

"Vegeta would never have passed the requirements to become a Super Saiyan God if he wasn't a person who was willing to do what was right. The Saiyan Ascension Ritual requires a righteous heart, which is more than just being a good person, it is also the conviction needed to ensure that what is right is done. You cannot Ascend if you are using that power for evil. Vegeta passed the requirements by resolving to change how the Saiyan race is viewed," I explained.

"See!? I told you Goten! My dad is great!" Trunks said.

"Both of our Saiyan fathers are amazing," I said.

"But Chiyo...you gave your power away?" Goten said nervously.

"Hey...who said I gave all my power away? I have something up my sleeve still," I said with a smirk as I poked his belly.

"Oh?" Gohan said.

I looked up into the distance where Piccolo and Vegeta were fighting, green and orange streaks met with colossal explosions and shockwaves traveled away from them.

"I told you all already, there are no limits to the capabilities of a Saiyan!" I said and powered up.

Switching to a Divine form, or even accessing divine Ki is a strange thing. It comes from within, but it is already in existence all around. The larger-than-life feeling of being a god is something inherent to the transformation. I briefly ran through my MindScape and willed the connection to the Super Saiyan God source.

My body was light and my form seemed to condense, as the power coursed through me. Another strange aspect of Divine Ki is that the scale is completely different. While at the top of a mortal form, you feel so powerful and the strength is raw beyond anything I could imagine, but the second the form switched to using Divine Ki, things changed.

The strength feels more like a divine decree as if written into existence at the inception of the form. The powerful aura, while being invisible to normal senses, reached up into the atmosphere, as if the presence your body takes up could not hold the energy of your soul.

I accessed Super Saiyan Red, let it stabilize, and then I began to build up my energy and focused on the idea of the Divine Super Saiyan state.

I pushed my energy into the upper part of my back and focused on the transformation. It could be done with anger but Divine Ki was about peace and grace. I shifted forward, into the mental state that came with Divine Ki and I felt my hair change and grow. My energy skyrocketed and I felt the two fighters pause in shock as my level of power surpassed them both.

Normally when powering up there are thresholds where your power stabilizes and after the first time you find it you can easily power to that spot again. It can be difficult to find that level though, and pushing further into Divine Ki is not easy. I kept building my power and reached deep within myself. I focused on my passion to protect and something seemed to click.

I hit a threshold where my power stabilized and around me was a thick blue ki aura that stood tall into the sky. I opened my eyes and stared out at them.

"Well? Am I blue?" I said.

"Yeah, it looks great!" Gohan said with a shake of his head at my antics.

I looked to Vegeta who was looking at me with confused fury. I smiled and rushed at him with my fist raised.

I split with multiform using a heightened spatial sense due to my Divine Ki and hit him 5 times before he responded with a block. Each devastating attack felt effortless but they connected with the force of mountains crashing.

"Impudent Brat! What is this form!?" Vegeta demanded.

"Super Saiyan Blue," I said with a smirk.

Piccolo looked at me with a shocked look on his face, "Chiyo..." Before he could speak I flew at him and punched him in the face at low power. It knocked him back a bit but just left a mark.

"Chiyoooo," Piccolo said with a growl.

"How does it feel?" I asked and I could feel Vegeta's rage building behind us.

"You unlocked my latent potential? Why?" Piccolo asked.

"We need it, you care about this world, or at least you care about my family and Dende. It is time you got as strong as you can. I bet you have not powered up to your max yet have you?" I asked.

He shook his head, "You are crazy you know that?"

"UUEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!" Vegeta yelled as he blasted his Ki and I dodged at just the right second for him to fly past me and right at Piccolo who blocked.

Just then I heard the sound of an Instant Transmission and my dad showed up, "HEY! YOU GUYS ARE ALL TRAINING AND YOU DIDN'T INVITE ME!?" Goku said with a frown.

I smiled, "THEN LET'S GO, DAD!" I rushed at him with a fist raised and I dropped the power of the hit so he could block it. He was in his base form after all.

"Woah, you all have new forms too!? What is going on here? Chiyo, did you teach everyone new forms again?!" My dad said worriedly.

"Haha, I did! This is called Super Saiyan Blue! It's the Super Saiyan version of Red!"

"Oh wow! I was thinking about trying that!"

"Do it then! It is a great day to train!"

My dad pushed into Super Saiyan Blue, and we had a 4-person brawl until I grabbed Gohan and told him to power up. We then had a 5-person brawl that lasted nearly 2 hours. All of us were tired and beaten in the end, but Vegeta stood tall as the winner this time. Piccolo and Gohan both have their potential unlocked, but they haven't been able to pull all of it out yet, the circumstances have to be right.

The group of us all lay down after the fight, watching the sunset. Even Vegeta stood smirking with pride at his technical victory.
